| 3 | Analysis of the factors influencing the airflow behavior in an impinging jet ventilation room显示文摘A validated CFD model is employed to predict the airflow behavior in an impinging jet ventilation(IJV)room with cool,isothermal or warm jets.By using the numerical results,the influences of jet discharge height,supply grille shape and room height on the jet flow behavior as well as the draught discomfort are analyzed for IJV operating in heating scenarios.The results indicate that the warm supply jet of IJV rises upward to the ceiling after spreading along the floor for a certain distance due to thermal buoyancy,resulting in a limited dispersion area,while the cool and isothermal jets of IJV always spread along the whole floor.When IJV is used for space heating,the lower the jet discharge height,the farther the supply air spreads along the floor,and the supply grille shape and room height almost have no effect on the air dispersion area.The results also show that the energy-efficient advantage of IJV in its heating mode compared to the mixing ventilation(MV)system is more remarkable in higher rooms.Moreover,there is a risk of draught discomfort in IJV heating rooms and it is recommended to wear socks to avoid this discomfort. | Xiufeng Yang Xiao Ye Bin Zuo Ke Zhong Yanming Kang | 2021 | Building Simulation2021,14,3: | 2 |

| 11 | Master crack types and typical acoustic emission characteristics during rock failure显示文摘Acoustic emission(AE)signals contain substantial information about the internal fracture characteristics of rocks and are useful for revealing the laws governing the release of energy stored therein.Reported here is the evolution of rock failure with diferent master crack types as investigated using Brazilian splitting tests(BSTs),direct shear tests(DSTs),and uniaxial compression tests(UCTs).The AE parameters and typical modes of each fracture type were obtained,and the energy release characteristics of each fracture mechanism were discussed.From the observed changes in the AE parameters,the rock fracture process exhibits characteristics of staged intensifcation.The scale and energy level of crack activity in the BSTs were signifcantly lower than those in the DSTs and UCTs.The proportion of tensile cracks in the BSTs was 65%–75%,while the proportions of shear cracks in the DSTs and UCTs were 75%–85%and 70%–75%,respectively.During the rock loading process under diferent conditions,failure was accompanied by an increased number of shear cracks.The amplitude,duration,and rise time of the AE signal from rock failure were larger when the failure was dominated by shear cracks rather than tensile ones,and most of the medium-and high-energy signals had medium to low frequencies.After calculating the proposed energy amplitude ratio,the energy release of shear cracks was found to exceed that of tensile cracks at the same fracture scale. | Tongbin Zhao Pengfei Zhang Yaxun Xiao Weiyao Guo Yulong Zhang Xiufeng Zhang | 2023 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2023,10,1: | 0 |
| 12 | The RNA helicase DHX15 is a critical regulator of natural killer-cell homeostasis and functions显示文摘The RNA helicase DHX15 is widely expressed in immune cells and traditionally thought to be an RNA splicing factor or a viral RNA sensor.However,the role of DHX15 in NK-cell activities has not been studied thus far.Here,we generated Dhx15-floxed mice and found that conditional deletion of Dhx15 in NK cells(Ncr1CreDhx15fl/fl mice)resulted in a marked reduction in NK cells in the periphery and that the remaining Dhx15-deleted NK cells failed to acquire a mature phenotype.As a result,Dhx15-deleted NK cells exhibited profound defects in their cytolytic functions.We also found that deletion of Dhx15 in NK cells abrogated their responsiveness to IL-15,which was associated with inhibition of IL-2/IL-15Rβ(CD122)expression and IL-15R signaling.The defects in Dhx15-deleted NK cells were rescued by ectopic expression of a constitutively active form of STAT5.Mechanistically,DHX15 did not affect CD122 mRNA splicing and stability in NK cells but instead facilitated the surface expression of CD122,likely through interaction with its 3′UTR,which was dependent on the ATPase domain of DHX15 rather than its splicing domain.Collectively,our data identify a key role for DHX15 in regulating NK-cell activities and provide novel mechanistic insights into how DHX15 regulates the IL-15 signaling pathway in NK cells. | Guangchuan Wang Xiang Xiao Yixuan Wang Xiufeng Chu Yaling Dou Laurie J.Minze Rafik M.Ghobrial Zhiqiang Zhang Xian C.Li | 2022 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,6: | 0 |

| 14 | The potential function of transhiatal esophagectomy in the treatment of esophageal carcinoma显示文摘Objective: To analyze the results and introduce the experiences of transhiatal esophagectomy in combined with different synthetic therapy. Methods: Seventy-one patients with esophageal carcinoma, median age was 62, 40 of stage I, 26 of IIa, 4 of stage IIb, 1 of stage IV, were treated with transhiatal esophagectomy. 9 and 17 patients were treated with preopera- tive radiotherapy (4000 cGy) and postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy (6000 cGy) respectively; 5 patients were treated with preoperative chemotherapy. Results: The postoperative 1, 3 and 5 years survival rates were 100%, 91.43%, and 86.21% for stage I; 92%, 83.33%, and 57.14% for stage IIa; 75%, 50%, and 50% for stage IIb; 100%, 0, and 0 for stag IV and 95.71%, 86.89%, and 71.70% as a whole, respectively. The incidence of complications was 12.68%. | 15 | Multifunctional hydrogel enhances bone regeneration through sustained release of Stromal Cell-Derived Factor-1αand exosomes显示文摘Fracture nonunion remains a great challenge for orthopedic surgeons.Fracture repair comprises of three phases,the inflammatory,repair and remodeling stage.Extensive advancements have been made in the field of bone repair,including development of strategies to balance the M1/M2 macrophage populations,and to improve osteogenesis and angiogenesis.However,such developments focused on only one or the latter two phases,while ignoring the inflammatory phase during which cell recruitment occurs.In this study,we combined Stromal Cell-Derived Factor-1α(SDF-1α)and M2 macrophage derived exosomes(M2D-Exos)with a hyaluronic acid(HA)-based hydrogel precursor solution to synthesize an injectable,self-healing,adhesive HA@SDF-1α/M2D-Exos hydrogel.The HA hydrogel demonstrated good biocompatibility and hemostatic ability,with the 4%HA hydrogels displaying great antibacterial activity against gram-negative E.coli and gram-positive S.aureus and Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA).Synchronously and sustainably released SDF-1αand M2D-Exos from the HA@SDF-1α/M2D-Exos hydrogel enhanced proliferation and migration of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell(HMSCs)and Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells(HUVECs),promoting osteogenesis and angiogenesis both in vivo and in vitro.Overall,the developed HA@SDF-1α/M2D-Exos hydrogel was compatible with the natural healing process of fractures and provides a new modality for accelerating bone repair by coupling osteogenesis,angiogenesis,and resisting infection at all stages. | Lang Chen Chenyan Yu Yuan Xiong Kai Chen Pei Liu Adriana C.Panayi Xiufeng Xiao Qian Feng Bobin Mi Guohui Liu | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,7: | 0 |
