| 2 | Characteristics of paleoflood deposits archived in unit T0403 of Yuxi Site in the Three Gorges reservoir areas,China显示文摘Based on the detailed analyses,multi-proxies such as AMS 14 C dating,grain size,component and morphology of heavy minerals,micromorphology of zircon,magnetic susceptibility,Rb/Sr and Hg content are used to research the paleoflood sediments archived in the Yuxi Site.The research indicates that, since 7.6 kaBP,at least 16 times of paleoflood with water level above Wusong Elevation 147.024 m(a.s.l.) left deposits in the Neolithic layers of unit T0403 from the Yuxi Site.The results are induced from the following aspects:(1)The plaeoflood sediments take on great similarities with modern flood sediments in the Yuxi Site and Zhongba Site in probability cumulative curves which mainly show a pattern of 3 segments in fluvial pattern.(2)There is some resemblance between the heavy mineral components and the zircon shape characteristics of paleoflood deposits and those of modern flood deposits.(3) Magnetic susceptibility values(40.44―70.10SI)are lower than those of sediments from cultural layers (59.59―188.68SI).(4)Hg values(290.71―742.51 ng/g)are lower than those of sediments from cultural layers(344.16―10518.17 ng/g).(5)Rb/Sr values are higher than those of sediments from cultural layers, while those of the 4th,5th,6th,7th,8th cultural layers are high,which shows that they are inundated by paleoflood.The reason for many flood deposits existing is related to the site situated on the first terrace where the Yuxi River joins with the Yangtze River.As there are some similarities between the plaeoflood sediments and those of the Zhongba Site,it is feasible to confirm the existence of paleoflood sediments based on the above points. | ZHU Cheng MA ChunMei XU WeiFeng BAI JiuJiang ZHENG ChaoGui ZHU GuangYao WANG HuiLin CHEN Ye LU XueFeng | 2008 | Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,S1: | 16 |
| 3 | Milling surface roughness for 7050 aluminum alloy cavity influenced by nozzle position of nanofluid minimum quantity lubrication显示文摘In nanofluid minimum quantity lubrication(NMQL)milling of aviation aluminum alloy,it is the bottleneck problem to adjust the position parameters(target distance,incidence angle,and elevation angle)of the nozzle to improve the surface roughness of milling,which has large and uncontrollable errors.In this paper,the influence law of milling cutter speed,helical angle,and cavity shape on the flow field around the milling cutter was studied,and the optimal nozzle profile parameters were obtained.Using 7050 aluminum alloy as the workpiece material,the milling experiment of the NMQL cavity was conducted by utilizing cottonseed oil-based Al2 O3 nanofluid.Results show that the high velocity of the surrounding air flow field and the strong gas barrier could be attributed to high rotating velocities of the milling cutter.The incidence angle of the nozzle was consistent with the helical angle of the milling cutter,the target distance was appropriate at 25–30 mm,and the elevation angle was suitable at 60°–65°.The range and variance analyses of the signal-to-noise ratio of milling force and roughness were performed,and the chip morphology was observed and analyzed.The results show that the optimal combination of nozzle position parameters was the target distance of 30 mm,the incidence angle of 35°,and the elevation angle of 60°.Among these parameters,target distance had the largest impact on cutting performance with a contribution rate of more than 55%,followed by incidence angle and elevation contribution rate.Analysis by orthogonal experiment revealed that the nozzle position parameters were appropriate,and Ra(0.087 lm)was reduced by 30.4%from the maximum value(0.125 lm).Moreover,Rsm(0.05 mm)was minimum,which was 36%lower than that of the seventh group(Rsm=0.078 mm). | Zhenjing DUAN Changhe LI Yanbin ZHANG Lan DONG Xiufang BAI Min YANG Dongzhou JIA Runze LI Huajun CAO Xuefeng XU | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,6: | 10 |
| 4 | Cold hardiness estimation of Pinus densiflora var. zhangwuensis based on changes in ionic leakage, chlorophyll fluorescence and other physiological activities under cold stress显示文摘Pinus densiflora var. zhangwuensis grows fast,and its drought and salinity resistance are better than Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica. We compared cold hardiness and mechanisms of cold hardiness between the two species, to provide a theoretical basis for promoting and applying P.densiflora var. zhangwuensis in cold regions. A cold stress experiment was carried out on 3-year-old plantlets of P.densiflora var. zhangwuensis and P. sylvestris var. mongolica after hardening at five temperature regimes, 5,-10,-20,-40, and-60℃, respectively. Some indices of needle samples for both species were measured, such as relative conductivity(REL), maximum photochemical efficiency(F_v/F_m), malondialdehyde(MDA), catalase(CAT), proline(Pro), soluble sugar(SS), and stomata density. REL and MDA values of both species after hardening had the same trend of increasing, but the trend was opposite in F_v/F_mvalue with increasing cold stress. Compared with P. sylvestris var. mongolica, the P. densiflora var. zhangwuensis had smaller increases in REL and MDA,and a smaller decline in F_v/F_mduring cold stress. Compared to the control, REL growth of P. densiflora var.zhangwuensis and P. sylvestris var. mongolica at-60℃ were 0.41 and 0.60, and MDA growth was 29.94 mol g^-1FW and 47.80 mol g^-1FW, and F_v/F_mdeclines were 0.08 and 0.27. Half-lethal temperatures(LT_50) calculated by logistic equation for P. densiflora var. zhangwuensis and P.sylvestris var. mongolica were-58.23 and-50.34℃,respectively. These data suggest that cold resistance of P.densiflora var. zhangwuensis is stronger than that of P.sylvestris var. mongolica. Cold-resistance mechanisms of the two species differed. In response to cold stress, P.sylvestris var. mongolica had strong osmotic adjustment ability because of higher Pro and SS content, while P.densiflora var. zhangwuensis had strong antioxidant ability due to stronger CAT activity. | 5 | Assessing the impacts of human activities and climate variations on grassland productivity by partial least squares structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM)显示文摘The cause-effect associations between geographical phenomena are an important focus in ecological research. Recent studies in structural equation modeling(SEM) demonstrated the potential for analyzing such associations. We applied the variance-based partial least squares SEM(PLS-SEM) and geographically-weighted regression(GWR) modeling to assess the human-climate impact on grassland productivity represented by above-ground biomass(AGB). The human and climate factors and their interaction were taken to explain the AGB variance by a PLS-SEM developed for the grassland ecosystem in Inner Mongolia, China. Results indicated that 65.5% of the AGB variance could be explained by the human and climate factors and their interaction. The case study showed that the human and climate factors imposed a significant and negative impact on the AGB and that their interaction alleviated to some extent the threat from the intensified human-climate pressure. The alleviation may be attributable to vegetation adaptation to high human-climate stresses, to human adaptation to climate conditions or/and to recent vegetation restoration programs in the highly degraded areas. Furthermore, the AGB response to the human and climate factors modeled by GWR exhibited significant spatial variations. | 6 | Aromatization over nanosized Ga-containing ZSM-5 zeolites prepared by different methods:Effect of acidity of active Ga species on the catalytic performance显示文摘Nanosized Ga-containing ZSM-5 zeolites were prepared via isomorphous substitution and impregnation followed by characterized using various techniques. The catalytic performance of the zeolites for the aromatization of 1-hexene was investigated. The results indicate that isomorphous substitution promotes the incorporation of Ga heteroatoms into the framework along with the formation of extra-framework GaO^+species([GaO^+]a) that have stronger interactions with the negative potential of the framework. In addition, based on the Py-IR results and catalytic performance, the [GaO^+]aspecies with stronger Lewis acid sites produced a better synergism with moderate Br?nsted acid sites and thus improved the selectivity to aromatic compounds. However, the impregnation results in the formation of Ga_2O_3 phase and small amounts of GaO^+species that are mainly located on the external surface([GaO^+]~b), which contribute to weaker Lewis acid sites due to weaker interactions with the zeolite framework. | 7 | ZBP1(DAI/DLM-1) promotes osteogenic differentiation while inhibiting adipogenic differentiation in mesenchymal stem cells through a positive feedback loop of Wnt/β-catenin signaling显示文摘The lineage specification of mesenchymal stem/stromal cells(MSCs) is tightly regulated by a wide range of factors. Recently, the versatile functions of ZBP1(also known as DAI or DLM-1) have been reported in the blood circulation and immune systems.However, the biological function of ZBP1 during the lineage specification of MSCs is still unknown. In the present study, we found that ZBP1 was upregulated during osteogenesis but downregulated during adipogenesis in mouse bone marrow-derived MSCs(m BMSCs). ZBP1 was highly expressed in osteoblasts but expressed at a relatively low level in marrow adipocytes. Knockdown of ZBP1 inhibited alkaline phosphataseactivity, extracellular matrix mineralization, and osteogenesis-related gene expression in vitro and reduced ectopic bone formation in vivo. Knockdown of ZBP1 also promoted adipogenesis in MSCs in vitro. Conversely, the overexpression of ZBP1 increased the osteogenesis but suppressed the adipogenesis of MSCs. When the expression of ZBP1 was rescued, the osteogenic capacity of ZBP1-depleted m BMSCs was restored at both the molecular and phenotypic levels.Furthermore, we demonstrated that ZBP1, a newly identified target of Wnt/β-catenin signaling, was required for β-catenin translocation into nuclei. | 13 | Predicting the Reflection Coefficient of a Viscoelastic Coating Containing a Cylindrical Cavity Based on an Artificial Neural Network Model显示文摘A cavity viscoelastic structure has a good sound absorption performance and is often used as a reflective baffle or sound absorption cover in underwater acoustic structures.The acoustic performance field has become a key research direction worldwide.Because of the time-consuming shortcomings of the traditional numerical analysis method and the high cost of the experimental method for measuring the reflection coefficient to evaluate the acoustic performance of coatings,this innovative study predicted the reflection coefficient of a viscoelastic coating containing a cylindrical cavity based on an artificial neural network(ANN).First,themapping relationship between the input characteristics and reflection coefficient was analysed.When the elastic modulus and loss factor value were smaller,the characteristics of the reflection coefficient curve were more complicated.These key parameters affected the acoustic performance of the viscoelastic coating.Second,a dataset of the acoustic performance of the viscoelastic coating containing a cylindrical cavity was generated based on the finite elementmethod(FEM),which avoided a large number of repeated experiments.The minmax normalization method was used to preprocess the input characteristics of the viscoelastic coating,and the reflection coefficient was used as the dataset label.The grid search method was used to fine-tune the ANNparameters,and the prediction error was studied based on a 10-fold cross-validation.Finally,the error distributions were analysed.The average root means square error(RMSE)and the mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)predicted by the improved ANN model were 0.298%and 1.711%,respectively,and the Pearson correlation coefficient(PCC)was 0.995,indicating that the improved ANN model accurately predicted the acoustic performance of the viscoelastic coating containing a cylindrical cavity.In practical engineering applications,by expanding the database of the material range,cavity size and backing of the coating,the reflection coefficient of more sound-absorbing layers was evaluated,which is useful for efficiently predicting the acoustic performance of coatings in a specific frequency range and has great application value. | Yiping Sun Qiang Bai Xuefeng Zhao Meng Tao | 2022 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,2: | 2 |

In this study, we determined the antioxidant activity of lees and demonstrated the ability of compounds in lees to scavenge H_2O_2 in vitro and in vivo by different chemical probes. Lees increased the ability of Drosophila against oxidative stress and antioxidant enzyme activity in vivo. Five ingredients of organic acids and flavones in lees extract that rapidly scavenged H_2O_2 were revealed by a post-column-derived HPLC-UV-FLD system based on 4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid(PHPAA)chemiluminescence. Additionally, another fluorescent probe,N-borylbenzyloxycarbonyl-3,7-dihydroxyphenoxazine(NBCD), was selected to evaluate the reactive oxygen species(ROS) scavenging capacity of lees in living Drosophila melanogaster using a microfluidic injection test coupled with microscopic imaging analysis, and similar effects were observed in flies when they were treated with tartaric acid and caffeic acid.
