2Eocene Basins on the SE Tibetan Plateau: Markers of Minor Offset along the Xuelongshan–Diancangshan–Ailaoshan Structural System显示文摘The offset of geological bodies provides robust evidence of displacement along a fault or ductile shear zone. The amount of displacement along the Xuelongshan–Diancangshan–Ailaoshan structural system, southeastern Tibetan Plateau, is uncertain because of the lack of offset geological markers. This NNW–SSE-trending system is developed in three isolated metamorphic complexes and interjacent nonmetamorphosed rocks. They are expected to record similar post-Eocene strain, although their structural patterns should be distinct. Geological mapping in the area between the Xuelongshan and Diancangshan metamorphic complexes has revealed a small Eocene basin, the Madeng Basin, located to the west of the structural system. The sedimentary and volcanic successions of the Madeng Basin are comparable to those of the Jianchuan Basin, which is located to the east of the structural system. Zircon U–Pb geochronological and bulk geochemical data demonstrate that the volcanic rocks of both basins formed during 37–34 Ma and share the same geochemical features. These data suggest that the Madeng and Jianchuan basins previously constituted a single basin, with the distribution of high-K volcanic rocks in the basins defining an ENE–WSW-trending volcanic belt that shows a limited dextral offset of ≤20 km across the Xuelongshan–Diancangshan–Ailaoshan structural system. Therefore, the northern segment of the structural system records no evidence of large-scale lateral movement/displacement. 4A review of some methodological developments on full waveform inversion tackled in the SEISCOPE group显示文摘Full waveform inversion(FWI)is a data-fitting inverse problem aiming to delineate high-resolution quantitative images of the Earth.While its basic principle has been proposed in the eighties,the approach has been significantly developed and applied to2Dand 3Dproblems at various scales for the last fifteen years.Despite these successes,FWI is still facing some issues for applications in complex geological setups because of some lack of robustness and automatic workflow,while being computationally intensive.In this paper,after a short review of the basic FWI formulation and analysis of the FWI gradient,three recent methodological developments performed in the frame of the SEISCOPE project are presented.First,an algorithmic development is presented as a low-memory and computationally efficient approach for building the time-domain FWI gradient in 3Dviscous media.Second,a reformulation of FWI is performed to handle reflections in their tomography regime while still using the diving waves,leading to the joint full waveform inversion(JFWI)approach.Finally,an optimal transport approach is proposed as an alternative to the classical difference-based misfit for mitigating the cycle-skipping issue.Romain BROSSIER Ludovic METIVIER Jean VIRIEUX YANG Pengliang ZHOU Wei 2017石油物探2017,56,1:2
5Biomimetic ultrathin pepsomes for photo-controllable catalysis显示文摘Artificial vesicles for mimicking the unique structures and functions of natural organelles represent a promising scientific object in biomimicry.However,the development of the stimuli-responsive and ultrathin vesicles assembled from sequence-defined biomimetic polymers for controllable applications is still a significant challenge.Herein,we report the self-assembly of azobenzene-based amphiphilic alternating peptoids to generate photo-responsive and ultrathin peptoid vesicle(pepsomes)with an average diameter of∼180 nm.Both cryo-transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and dissipative particle dynamics simulation proved that the vesicular membrane was the ultrathin bilayer structure around∼1.6 nm.The photo-responsive ability of pepsomes was demonstrated by the reversible size changes upon the alternative irradiation with ultraviolet(UV)and visible lights,which was attributable to the photoisomerization virtue of azobenzene moiety.As a proof-of-concept,the photo-controllable catalytic action of gold nanoparticles-decorated pepsomes was evaluated toward the borohydride-mediated reduction from 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol.Photo-controllable reversible and recyclable catalytic activity was effectively modulated using the alternative irradiation with UV and visible lights for five cycles.Our work provides a simple strategy to prepare stimuli-responsive and ultrathin vesicles for potential application on nanocatalysis.Guiping Peng Haibao Jin Fan Liu Xiaoyan Yang Pengliang Sui Shaoliang Lin 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,12:1
6Experimental Research of Concrete with Steel Slag Powder and Zeolite Powder显示文摘In order to increase use ratio of steel slag solid waste,the concrete containing steel slag powder and zeolite powder as admixtures was prepared by using the orthogonal test method.The effects of water-binder ratio,sand ratio,steel slag powder content and zeolite powder on working properties,mechanical strength and chloride ion permeability of the concrete was studied.It was found that the early strength of the concrete had a decrease with the mixing of steel slag and zeolite powders,but its later strength approached to pure concrete.Moreover,the physical filling and pozzolanic activity of the admixtures increased the density of the concrete,resulting in the improvement of the durability of the concrete by the migration speed of Cl−reducing.The optimum mix ratio of C40 steel slag powder-zeolite powder concrete is obtained,and which had the slump of 220 mm,the 3 d,7 d and 28 d compressive strengths of 27.8 MPa,37.5 MPa and 48.4 MPa,the 6 h electric flux of 950 C and the diffusion coefficient of 1.65×10−12 m2/s.Yang Ming Ping Chen Yuanhao Wang Ling Li Xuandong Chen Pengliang Sun 2020Journal of Renewable Materials2020,8,12:1
7Global and local constitutive behaviors of friction stir welded AA2024 joints显示文摘In this study, the global and local tensile properties of friction stir welded AA2024 joints were measured with the aid of digital image correlation(DIC) method. A novel model was proposed to describe the global and local constitutive behavior of the joints based on DIC data. Different from conventional division of the zones across the joints, a new reasonable division was proposed, i.e. four zones including central low hardness zone(CLHZ), first heat affected zone(HAZ-I) close to TMAZ, second heat affected zone(HAZ-II)close to base metal(BM) and BM in term of the characteristic distribution of hardness. Results reveal that local true stress-true strain curves are different in each zone of interest. Plastic deformation of the joints is concentrated in CLHZ, where the lowest yield stress and the largest strain appear. Therefore, strain localization and necking occur here in a sequence.
