| 1 | Terahertz Spectroscopy for Accurate Identification of Panax quinquefolium Basing on Nonconjugated 24(R)-Pseudoginsenoside F_(11)显示文摘Panax quinquefolium is a perennial herbaceous plant that contains many beneficial ginsenosides with diverse pharmacological effects.24(R)-pseudoginsenoside F_(11)is specific to P.quinquefolium,a useful biomarker for distinguishing this species from other related plants.However,because of its nonconjugated property and the complexity of existing detection methods,this biomarker cannot be used as the identification standard.We herein present a stable 24(R)-pseudoginsenoside F_(11)fingerprint spectrum in the terahertz band,thereby proving that F_(11)can be detected and quantitatively analyzed via terahertz spectroscopy.We also analyzed the sample by high-performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry.The difference between the normalized data for the two analytical methods was less than 5%.Furthermore,P.quinquefolium from different areas and other substances can be clearly distinguished based on these terahertz spectra with a standard principal component analysis.Our method is a fast,simple,and cost-effective approach for identifying and quantitatively analyzing P.quinquefolium. | Tianyi Kou Ji Ye Jing Wang Yan Peng Zefang Wang Chenjun Shi Xu Wu Xitian Hu Haihong Chen Ling Zhang Xiaohong Chen Yiming Zhu Huiliang Li Songlin Zhuang | 2021 | Plant Phenomics2021,3,1: | 1 |
| 2 | Rong Shuan Jiao Nang in the treatment of acute mountain sickness and high altitude myocardial ischemic syndrome in Yushu显示文摘To evaluate the therapeutic effects of Rong Shuan Jiao Nang (RSJN) on treatment of acute mountain sickness (AMS) and high altitude myocardial ischemic syndrome in workers in Yushu,three groups were studied: group A (60 patients with AMS,given RSJN),group B (15 patients with altitude myocardial ischemic syndrome, given RSJN),and group C (control,without drugs). All studied subjects were lowland workers who were first time entry to Yushu for work at an altitude of 4 250 m. During the course of treatment,a routing physical examination was performed,AMS Lake Louise Scores were estimated,arterial oxygen saturation (SaO2),electrocardiography and hemoglobin concentration were measured before and after using RSJN for 10 days. In group A,the effective rate was 68 %,symptomatic improvement in 54 cases (90 %) within 5 days. In group B,the effective rate was 93 %,episodes of angina pectoris stopped in 12 patients within 3 ~ 7 days,one lasted 8 days. After treatment, the level of SaO2 increased 15.5 %,21.8 % and 5.6 % in group A,group B and group C,respectively. RSJN taken at the start of the arrival at Yushu can decrease AMS scores and facilitate cure. If taken after the illness has begun,RSJN may help lessen symptoms,especially effectively improved angina pectoris of the high altitude myocardial ischemic syndrome. Symptoms usually subside after 3 ~ 8 days. | 5 | Study on myocardial infarction based on nationwide inpatient sample database:a bibliometric analysis from 2000 to 2022显示文摘Background:Studies on myocardial infarction(MI)based on large medical databases have become popular in recent years.The influence of the National Inpatient Sample(NIS),the largest collection of administrative healthcare data across the United States,on the field of MI has not been well investigated.This study aimed to quantify the contribution of NIS to MI research using bibliometric methods.Methods:We searched the Web of Science Core Collection database to identify publications on MI using NIS from 2000 to 2022.Bibliometric indicators,such as the number of publications,citations,and Hirsch index(H-index),were summarized by years,authors,organizations,and journals.VOSviewer and CiteSpace software were used to analyze the keywords and trends of the hot spots.Results:A total of 342 articles on MI based on NIS were included.A significant growth in outputs related to MI using the NIS from 2000 to 2020 was observed.The publications were mainly from the United States.The Mayo Clinic was the most prolific institution and had the most citations and the highest H-index.The American Journal of Cardiology ranked first among journals with the highest number of publications,citations,and H-index.Mortality and healthcare management are the main focuses of this field.Personalized risks and care are receiving increased attention.Conclusion:This study suggests that NIS significantly contributes to high-quality output in MI research.More efforts are needed to improve the impact of knowledge gained from the NIS on MI. | Tianyi Zhang Xue Yang Qian Zhuang Yuhua Liu Huajuan Bai Jianchao Liu Zhouheng Ye | 2024 | Emergency and Critical Care Medicine2024,4,1: | 0 |

| 7 | Operando modeling and measurements:Powerful tools for revealing the mechanism of alkali carbonate-based sorbents for CO_(2)capture in real conditions显示文摘Alkalicarbonate-based sorbents(ACSs),including Na_(2)CO_(3)-and K2CO_(3)-based sorbents,are promising for CO_(2)capture.However,the complex sorbent components and operation conditions lead to the versatile kinetics of CO_(2)sorption on these sorbents.This paper proposed that operando modeling and measurements are powerful tools to understand the mechanism of sorbents in real operating conditions,facilitating the sorbent development,reactor design,and operation parameter optimization.It reviewed the theoretical simulation achievements during the development of ACSs.It elucidated the findings obtained by utilizing density functional theory(DFT)calculations,ab initio molecular dynamics(AIMD)simulations,and classical molecular dynamics(CMD)simulations as well.The hygroscopicity of sorbent and the humidity of gas flow are crucial to shifting the carbonation reaction from the gas-solid mode to the gas-liquid mode,boosting the kinetics.Moreover,it briefly introduced a machine learning(ML)approach as a promising method to aid sorbent design.Furthermore,it demonstrated a conceptual compact operando measurement system in order to understand the behavior of ACSs in the real operation process.The proposed measurement system includes a micro fluidizedbed(MFB)reactor for kinetic analysis,a multi-camera sub-system for 3D particle movement tracking,and a combined Raman and IR sub-system for solid/gas components and temperature monitoring.It is believed that this system is useful to evaluate the real-time sorbent performance,validating the theoretical prediction and promoting the industrial scale-up of ACSs for CO_(2)capture. | Tianyi CAI Mengshi WANG Xiaoping CHEN Ye WU Jiliang MA Wu ZHOU | 2023 | Frontiers in Energy2023,17,3: | 0 |
| 8 | Altered expression profile of long non-coding RNAs during heart aging in mice显示文摘Objective:Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)play an important role in regulating the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases.However,the role of lncRNAs in heart aging remains poorly understood.The objective of this study was to identify differentially expressed lncRNAs in the heart of aging mice and elucidate the relevant regulatory pathways of cardiac aging.Materials and methods:Echocardiography was used to detect the cardiac function of 18-months(aged)and 3-months(young)old C57BL/6 mice.Microarray analysis was performed to unravel the expression profiles of lncRNAs and mRNAs,and qRT-PCR to verify the highly dysregulated lncRNAs.Results:Our results demonstrated that the heart function in aged mice was impaired relative to young ones.Microarray results showed that 155 lncRNAs were upregulated and 37 were downregulated,and 170 mRNAs were significantly upregulated and 44 were remarkably downregulated in aging hearts.Gene ontology analysis indicated that differentially expressed genes are mainly related to immune function,cell proliferation,copper ion response,and cellular cation homeostasis.KEGG pathway analysis showed that the differentially expressed mRNAs are related to cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction,inflammatory mediator regulation of TRP channels,and the NF-kappa B signaling pathway.Conclusion:These results imply that the differentially expressed lncRNAs may regulate the development of heart aging.This study provides a new perspective on the potential effects and mechanisms of lncRNAs in heart aging. | Xiuxiu Wang Bingjie Hua Meixi Yu Shenzhen Liu Wenya Ma Fengzhi Ding Qi Huang Lai Zhang Chongwei Bi Ye Yuan Mengyu Jin Tianyi Liu Ying Yu Benzhi Cai Baofeng Yang | 2022 | Frigid Zone Medicine2022,2,2: | 0 |
