1Surveillance of Hand,Foot,and Mouth Disease in China's Mainland (2008-2009)显示文摘Objective Since HFMD was designated as a class C communicable disease in May 2008,18 months surveillance data have been accumulated to December 2009.This article was to describe the distribution of HFMD for age,sex,area,and time between 2008 and 2009,to reveal the characteristics of the epidemic.Methods We analyzed weekly reported cases of HFMD from May 2008 to December 2009,and presented data on the distribution of age,sex,area and time.A discrete Poisson model was used to detect spatial-temporal clusters of HFMD.Results More than 1 065 000 cases of HFMD were reported in China's Mainland from May 2008 to December 2009 (total incidence:12.47 per 10 000).Male incidence was higher than female for all ages and 91.9% of patients were <5 years old.The incidence was highest in Beijing,Shanghai,Zhejiang and Hainan.The highest peak of HFMD cases was in April and the number of cases remained high from April to August.The spatial-temporal distribution detected four clusters.Conclusion Children <5 years old were susceptible to HFMD and we should be aware of their vulnerability.The incidence was higher in urban than rural areas,and an annual pandemic usually starts in April.ZHU Qi HAO YuanTao MA JiaQi YU ShiCheng WANG Yu 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,4:73

7Reactive Inorganic Vapor Deposition of Perovskite Oxynitride Films for Solar Energy Conversion显示文摘The synthesis of perovskite oxynitrides,which are promising photoanode candidates for solar energy conversion,is normally accomplished by high-temperature ammonolysis of oxides and carbonate precursors,thus making the deposition of their planar films onto conductive substrates challenging.Here,we proposed a facile strategy to prepare a series of perovskite oxynitride films.Taking SrTaO_(2)N as a prototype,we prepared SrTaO_(2)N films on Ta foils under NH_(3) flow by utilizing the vaporized SrCl_(2)/SrCO_(3) eutectic salt.The SrTaO_(2)N films exhibit solar water-splitting photocurrents of 3.0 mA cm^(-2) at 1.23 V vs.RHE(reversible hydrogen electrode),which increases by 270%compared to the highest photocurrent(1.1 mA cm^(-2) at 1.23 V vs.RHE)of SrTaO_(2)N reported in the literature.This strategy may also be applied to directly prepare a series of perovskite oxynitride films on conductive substrates such as ATaO_(2)N(A=Ca,Ba)and ANbO_(2)N(A=Sr,Ba).Tao Fang Huiting Huang Jianyong Feng Yingfei Hu Qinfeng Qian Shicheng Yan Zhentao Yu Zhaosheng Li Zhigang Zou 2019Research2019,,1:2

10Experimental modeling of sanding fracturing and conductivity of propped fractures in conglomerate:A case study of tight conglomerate of Mahu sag in Junggar Basin,NW China显示文摘True tri-axial sanding fracturing experiments are carried out on conglomerate samples from the Permian Wuerhe Formation of Mahu sag,Junggar Basin,to study hydraulic fracture propagation geometry and quartz sand transport in ma-trix-supported fine conglomerate and grain-supported medium conglomerate.The effect of rough fracture surface on conduc-tivity is analyzed using the 3D-printing technology to reconstruct the rough surface formed in the fractured conglomerate.The hydraulic fractures formed in the matrix-supported fine conglomerate are fairly straight,and only more tortuous when en-countering large gravels at local parts;thus,proppants can get into the fractures easily with transport distance about 70%–90%of the fracture length.By contrast,in the grain-supported medium conglomerate,hydraulic fractures tend to bypass the gravels to propagate in tortuous paths and frequently change in width;therefore,proppants are difficult to transport in these fractures and only move less than 30%of the fracture length.As the ma trix-supported fine conglomerate has high matrix content and low hardness,proppants embed in the fracture surface severely.In contrast,the grain-supported medium conglomerate has higher gravel content and hardness,so the quartz sand is crushed more severely.Under the high proppant concentration of 5 kg/m^(2),when the closure stress is increased(above 60 MPa),fractures formed in both matrix-supported fine conglomerate and grain-supported medium conglomerate decrease in width significantly,and drop 88%and 92%in conductivity respectively compared with the case under the low closure stress of 20 MPa.The field tests prove that under high closure stress above 60 MPa,using a high proportion of fine proppants with high concentration allow the proppant to move further in the fracture;meanwhile proppant places more uniformly in the ro ugh fracture,resulting in a higher fracture conductivity and an improved well per-formance.ZOU Yushi SHI Shanzhi ZHANG Shicheng YU Tianxi TIAN Gang MA Xinfang ZHANG Zhaopeng 2021Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,6:1
11Strain effect on the orientation-dependent harmonic spectrum of monolayer aluminum nitride显示文摘In this study, we theoretically investigate the strain effect on the orientation-dependent high-order harmonic generation(HHG) of monolayer aluminum nitride(Al N) by solving the multiband semiconductor Bloch equations in strong laser fields. Our simulations denote that the efficiency of the orientation-dependent HHG is considerably enhanced when a 15% biaxial tensile strain is applied to Al N, which is attributed to the downshifting energy level of the conduction band. Furthermore, the odd-even feature in the orientation-dependent high harmonic spectra owing to the strain is considerably different when compared with that in the case without strain. The enhanced quantum interference between different energy bands in strained Al N around the Γ-M direction is responsible for the observed odd-even distributions of the orientation-dependent HHG. 16Application of Disability-Adjusted Life Years to Evaluate the Burden and Trend of Tuberculosis — China, 1990–2019显示文摘Summary What is already known about this topic?China is a country with a high burden of tuberculosis(TB).However,the evaluation of TB burden is usually based on traditional epidemiological indicators,and disability-adjusted life year(DALY)is rarely applied.What is added by this report?In China,the number of DALYs caused by TB in 2019 was estimated to be 1.36 million,and the agestandardized rate(ASR)was 86.46/100,000.The DALYs of TB decreased significantly from 1990 to 2019,with the largest decline from 2001 to 2010.The burden is higher among men than women,and the highest among the elderly.What are the implications for public health practice?Application of DALYs can reflect the damage in health to China’s residents caused by tuberculosis.In the future,we should strengthen research,monitor years lived with disability(YLDs),and reduce the burden of the elderly and men.Cost-effective analysis based on DALYs should be conducted to provide a scientific basis for decision-making.Zhe Dong Qiqi Wang Shicheng Yu Jianjun Liu Hui Zhang Fei Huang Hongyan Yao 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,11:1

18Resistance Identification of Different Flue-cured Tobacco Varieties against Black Shank显示文摘The resistance of 15 flue-cured tobacco varieties were identified by artificial inoculation of black shank. 19Embedding Periodic Maps on Surfaces into Those on S^3显示文摘Call a periodic map h on the closed orientable surface Σg extendable if h extends to a periodic map over the pair(S3, Σg) for possible embeddings e : Σg→ S3. The authors determine the extendabilities for all periodical maps on Σ2. The results involve various orientation preserving/reversing behalves of the periodical maps on the pair(S3, Σg). To do this the authors first list all periodic maps on Σ2, and indeed the authors exhibit each of them as a composition of primary and explicit symmetries, like rotations, reflections and antipodal maps, which itself should be interesting.
