An update on primary ovarian insufficiency显示文摘Primary ovarian insufficiency(POI) occurs in about 1% of female population under the age of 40,leading to reproductive problems,an earlier encounter with menopausal symptoms, and complicated diseases. There are three presumable mechanisms involved in the development of POI,namely apoptosis acceleration, follicular maturation blocking and premature follicle activation, through the following studied causes:(i) chromosomal abnormalities or gene mutations:mostly involve X chromosome, such as FMR1 premutation;more and more potentially causal genes have been screened recently;(ii) metabolic disorders such as classic galactosaemia and 17-OH deficiency;(iii) autoimmune mediated ovarian damage:observed alone or with some certain autoimmune disorders and syndromes;but the specificity and sensitivity of antibodies towards ovary are still questionable;(iv) iatrogenic:radiotherapy or chemotherapy used in cancer treatment,as well as pelvic surgery with potential threat to ovaries' blood supply can directly damage ovarian function;(v) virus infection such as HIV and mumps;(vi) toxins and other environmental/lifestyle factors:cigarette smoking,toxins(e.g.,4-vinylcyclohexene diepoxide),and other environmental factors are associated with the development of POI.The etiology of a majority of POI cases is not identified, and is believed to be multifactorial.Strategies to POI include hormone replacement and infertility treatment.Assisted conception with donated oocytes has been proven to achieve pregnancy in POI women.Embryo cryopreservation, ovarian tissue cryopreservation and oocyte cryopreservation have been used to preserve ovarian reserve in women undergoing cancer treatments. | JIN Min YU YiQi HUANG HeFeng | 2012 | Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,8: | 22
Targeting ferroptosis suppresses osteocyte glucolipotoxicity and alleviates diabetic osteoporosis显示文摘Diabetic osteoporosis(DOP) is the leading complication continuously threatening the bone health of patients with diabetes. A key pathogenic factor in DOP is loss of osteocyte viability. However, the mechanism of osteocyte death remains unclear. Here, we identified ferroptosis, which is iron-dependent programmed cell death, as a critical mechanism of osteocyte death in murine models of DOP. The diabetic microenvironment significantly enhanced osteocyte ferroptosis in vitro, as shown by the substantial lipid peroxidation, iron overload, and aberrant activation of the ferroptosis pathway. RNA sequencing showed that heme oxygenase-1(HO-1) expression was notably upregulated in ferroptotic osteocytes. Further findings revealed that HO-1 was essential for osteocyte ferroptosis in DOP and that its promoter activity was controlled by the interaction between the upstream NRF2 and c-JUN transcription factors. Targeting ferroptosis or HO-1 efficiently rescued osteocyte death in DOP by disrupting the vicious cycle between lipid peroxidation and HO-1 activation, eventually ameliorating trabecular deterioration. Our study provides insight into DOP pathogenesis, and our results provide a mechanism-based strategy for clinical DOP treatment. | Yiqi Yang Yixuan Lin Minqi Wang Kai Yuan Qishan Wang Pei Mu Jingke Du Zhifeng Yu Shengbing Yang Kai Huang Yugang Wang Hanjun Li Tingting Tang | 2022 | Bone Research2022,10,3: | 19
Numerical analysis of thermal-hydraulic behavior of supercritical water in vertical upward/downward flow channels显示文摘Investigations on the thermal-hydraulic behavior in the SCWR fuel assembly have obtained a significant attention in the international SCWR community. However, there is still a lack of understanding of the heat transfer behavior of supercritical fluids. In this paper, the numerical analysis is carried out to study the thermal-hydraulic behaviour in vertical sub-channels cooled by supercritical water. Remarkable differences in characteristics of secondary flow are found, especially in square lattice, between the upward flow and downward flow. The turbulence mixing across sub-channel gap for downward flow is much stronger than that for upward flow in wide lattice when the bulk temperature is lower than pseudo-critical point temperature. For downward flow, heat transfer deterioration phenomenon is suppressed with respect to the case of upward flow at the same conditions. | GU Hanyang YU Yiqi CHENG Xu LIU Xiaojing | 2008 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2008,19,3: | 5
Divergent apparent temperature sensitivity of terrestrial ecosystem respiration显示文摘Aims Recent studies revealed convergent temperature sensitivity of ecosys-tem respiration(Re)within aquatic ecosystems and between terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. We do not know yet whether various terres-trial ecosystems have consistent or divergent temperature sensitivity. Here,we synthesized 163 eddy covariance flux sites across the world and examined the global variation of the apparent activation energy(Ea),which characterizes the apparent temperature sensitivity of and its interannual variability(IAV)as well as their controlling factors. Methods We used carbon fluxes and meteorological data across FLUXNET sites to calculate mean annual temperature,tempera-ture range, precipitation, global radiation, potential radiation, gross primary productivity and Re by averaging the daily values over the years in each site.Furthermore,we analyzed the sites with>8 years data to examine the IAV of Ea and calculated the standard deviation of Ea across years at each site to character-ize IAV.Important Findings The results showed a widely global variation of Ea,with significantly lower values in the tropical and subtropical areas than in temperate and boreal areas, and significantly higher values in grasslands and wetlands than that in deciduous broadleaf forests and evergreen for-ests.Globally,spatial variations of Ea were explained by changes in temperature and an index of water availability with differing contribution of each explaining variable among climate zones and biomes.IAV and the corresponding coefficient of variation of Ea decreased with increasing latitude, but increased with radiation and corresponding mean annual temperature. The revealed patterns in the spatial and temporal variations of Ea and its controlling factors indicate divergent temperature sensitivity of Re,which could help to improve our predictive understanding of Re in response to climate change. | Bing Song Shuli Niu Ruisen Luo Yiqi Luo Jiquan Chen Guirui Yu Janusz Olejnik Georg Wohlfahrt Gerard Kiely Asko Noormets Leonardo Montagnani Alessandro Cescatti Vincenzo Magliulo Beverly Elizabeth Law Magnus Lund Andrej Varlagin Antonio Raschi Matthias Peichl Mats BNilsson Lutz Merbold | 2014 | Journal of Plant Ecology2014,7,5: | 2
Monitoring and identifying pendant droplets in microbottle resonators显示文摘Optofluidic resonators are capable of characterizing various fluidic media. Here,we propose an optofluidic microbottle resonator(OFMBR)that is applied to generate pendant droplets, whose maximum mass is related to the liquid surface tension.Mass and type of droplets forming along the OFMBR stem can be monitored in real time by spectrum variation. As a pendant droplet grows, increased droplet gravity introduces a decreased coupling gap and compressive force between the tapered fiber and OFMBR,leading to a resonance wavelength shift. The operation mechanism of the proposed sensors is validated by theoretical simulation and experimental results. From the experimental spectra,a liquid mass sensor with maximum sensitivity of−3.34pm/mg is obtained, and distilled water and alcohol can be identified. This scheme provides a new thread for droplet generation as well as fluidic properties characterization. | Zijie Wang Xiaobei Zhang Qi Zhang Yiqi Chen Yong Yang Yang Yu Yang Wang Yanhua Dong Yi Huang Tingyun Wang | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,3: | 2

Probing Molecular Frame Wigner Time Delay and Electron Wavepacket Phase Structure of CO Molecule显示文摘The time delay of photoelectron emission serves as a fundamental building block to understand the ultrafast electron emission dynamics in strong-field physics. Here,we study the photoelectron angular streaking of CO molecules by using two-color(400+800nm)corotating circularly polarized fields.By coincidently measuring photoelectrons with the dissociative ions,we present molecular frame photoelectron angular distributions with respect to the instantaneous driving electric field signatures. We develop a semiclassical nonadiabatic molecular quantum-trajectory Monte Carlo(MO-QTMC)model that fully captures the experimental observations and further ab initio simulations. We disentangle the orientation-resolved contribution of the anisotropic ionic potential and the molecular orbital structure on the measured photoelectron angular distributions.Furthermore,by analyzing the photoelectron interference patterns,we extract the sub-Coulomb-barrier phase distribution of the photoelectron wavepacket and reconstruct the orientation-and energy-resolved Wigner time delay in the molecular frame.Holographic angular streaking with bicircular fields can be used for probing polyatomic molecules in the future. | Zhenning Guo Peipei Ge Yiqi Fang Yankun Dou Xiaoyang Yu Jiguo Wang Qihuang Gong Yunquan Liu | 2022 | Ultrafast Science2022,,2: | 1
Pathological Networks Involving Dysmorphic Neurons in Type ⅡFocal Cortical Dysplasia显示文摘Focal cortical dysplasia(FCD)is one of the most common causes of drug-resistant epilepsy.Dysmorphic neurons are the major histopathological feature of typeⅡFCD,but their role in seizure genesis in FCD is unclear. Here we performed whole-cell patch-clamp recording and morphological reconstruction of cortical principal neurons in postsurgical brain tissue from drug-resistant epilepsy patients.Quantitative analyses revealed distinct morphological and electrophysiological characteristics of the upper layer dysmorphic neurons in typeⅡFCD,including an enlarged soma, aberrant dendritic arbors, increased current injection for rheobase action potential firing, and reduced action potential firing frequency.Intriguingly, the upper layer dysmorphic neurons received decreased glutamatergic and increased GABAergic synaptic inputs that were coupled with upregulation of the Na^(+)-K^(+)-Cl^(−)cotransporter.In addition,we found a depolarizing shift of the GABA reversal potential in the CamKⅡ-cre::PTENflox/flox mouse model of drug-resistant epilepsy, suggesting that enhanced GABAergic inputs might depolarize dysmorphic neurons. Thus, imbalance of synaptic excitation and inhibition of dysmorphic neurons may contribute to seizure genesis in typeⅡFCD. | Yijie Shao Qianqian Ge Jiachao Yang Mi Wang Yu Zhou Jin-Xin Guo Mengyue Zhu Jiachen Shi Yiqi Hu Li Shen Zhong Chen Xiao-Ming Li Jun-Ming Zhu Jianmin Zhang Shumin Duan Jiadong Chen | 2022 | Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,9: | 1

Strong-field photoionization of intense laser fields by controlling optical singularities显示文摘The spatial features of a light field, such as in the form of the optical singularities, provide a new degree of freedom for the application of light fields in different areas of science and technology. However, although the exploration of structured light is growing rapidly, the investigation of strong-field photoionization using such light fields is noticeably lagging behind. Here, we present an experimental study that reveals the signatures of intense, structured light fields with controlled optical singularities in strong-field photoionization. The different types of optical singularities can be identified through photoionization observables,i.e., photoelectron momentum distributions(PMDs). By concurrently shifting the locations of the phase and polarization singularities, the focal electric field features can be designated, and subsequently, the photoionization appearances can be manipulated. In this process, the behaviors of the different intense optical singularities are clearly visualized by the PMDs. This work will advance both the strong-field science and singularity optics. | Yiqi Fang Zhenning Guo Peipei Ge Xueyan Ma Meng Han Xiaoyang Yu Yongkai Deng Qihuang Gong Yunquan Liu | 2021 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,7: | 1
Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure Precipitated by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 Infection in a Patient with Hepatitis B Virus-Related Cirrhosis: A Case Report显示文摘We present a case of acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF)in a patient with hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related decompensated cirrhosis and coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).A 58-year-old woman with HBV-related and decompensated cirrhosis without any anti-viral treatment previously was admitted to the hospital due to a confirmed severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection.On admission, she was in stable condition.Thoracic computed tomography(CT)and laboratory findings showed no significant abnormalities.Entecavir was initiated promptly for HBV,while antiviral therapy and supportive treatment were initiated for COVID-19.Her lung infection exacerbated after 10days of recurrent fever despite treatments, and there were signs of HBV reactivation.ACLF and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome developed rapidly from day 10 to day 19.The patient’s clinical deterioration was also consistent with pneumonia progression and elevated interleukin 6 levels.SARS-CoV-2 likely precipitated ACLF in cirrhotic patients, either by inducing HBV flare or serving as an acute insult directly. This study discussed the underlying mechanisms of this process and management details.Monitoring HBV status is necessary, and inflammatory parameters might be valuable.HBV suppression should be initiated early, and variceal hemorrhage primary prevention might be beneficial in COVID-19 patients with cirrhosis. | Wanling Chen Qiran Zhang Shijun Li Ruiting Liang Haiqun Liang Yiqi Yu Chao Qiu Jiannan Lv Wenhong Zhang | 2021 | Infectious Diseases & Immunity2021,1,3: | 1
HSPM:A Better Model to Effectively Preventing Open-Source Projects from Dying显示文摘With the rapid development of Open-Source(OS),more and more software projects are maintained and developed in the form of OS.These Open-Source projects depend on and influence each other, gradually forming a huge OS project network, namely an Open-Source Software ECOsystem(OSSECO).Unfortunately, not all OS projects in the open-source ecosystem can be healthy and stable in the long term, and more projects will go from active to inactive and gradually die.In a tightly connected ecosystem, the death of one project can potentially cause the collapse of the entire ecosystem network. How can we effectively prevent such situations from happening? In this paper,we first identify the basic project characteristics that affect the survival of OS projects at both project and ecosystem levels through the proportional hazards model. Then,we utilize graph convolutional networks based on the ecosystem network to extract the ecosystem environment characteristics of OS projects. Finally,we fuse basic project characteristics and environmental project characteristics and construct a Hybrid Structured Prediction Model(HSPM)to predict the OS project survival state. The experimental results show that HSPM significantly improved compared to the traditional prediction model. Our work can substantially assist OS project managers in maintaining their projects’health. It can also provide an essential reference for developers when choosing the right open-source project for their production activities. | Zhifang Liao Fangying Fu Yiqi Zhao Sui Tan Zhiwu Yu Yan Zhang | 2023 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,47,10: | 0
On the Application of Virtual Reality to Interpretation Learning显示文摘In order to adapt to international communication and meet the higher requirement for interpreters, cultivating interpreters has been strengthened. However, due to the limitation of technology, the learning methods were more limited to the classroom, which leads students to a situation lacking enough opportunities to experience and practice interpretation. The technology of Virtual Reality(VR)is a rational combination between actual interpretation practice and simulative interpretation environment.Based on the working principle of VR technology, this paper attempts to apply VR technology to interpretation learning so as to achieve the goal that interpretation learners become high-level,applied,professional interpreters under the more flexible, creative, and effective learning model which can meet the need of improving international competitiveness, and also meet the needs of the national economy, culture, and social development. | TAN Diyuan YU Yiqi | 2021 | US-China Foreign Language2021,19,11: | 0
Domestication in Subtitle Translation of The Big Bang显示文摘With the increasing popularity of foreign films and televisions in China, more frequent film and TV exchanges also promote cultural exchanges. However, most of the Chinese audience’s has not reached the ability to directly understand films and TV plays. Therefore, the research on subtitle translation is great significant.High-quality subtitle translation can convey the information and push the cultural exchange and dissemination. When it comes to the subtitle translation, the focus is the domestication strategies. The domestication strategy is widely adopted in subtitle translation due to the closeness to the audience.Under the guidance of domestication strategy, this paper takes the subtitle translation of American drama The Big Bang as an example,to focus on the practical application of domestication strategy.Starting with three methods, the paper analyzes their specific application based on domestication strategy,so as to better understand the domestication strategy and provide help for the application of domestication strategies in film and television translation. | SHI Jia YU Yiqi | 2021 | US-China Foreign Language2021,19,11: | 0
