1Polymer-coated nanoporous carbons for trace seawater uranium adsorption显示文摘Polymer-coated mesoporous carbon nanocomposites were prepared from the immobilization of acrylonitrile and acrylic acid copolymers with divinylbenzene as a crosslinker onto a mesoporous carbon framework.High surface areas were maintained after polymerization with accessible porosity.This functional nanocomposite was tested as an adsorbent for uranium from high salinity solutions.Uranium adsorption results have shown that the adsorption capacities are strongly influenced by the density of the amidoxime groups and the specific surface area.YUE YanFeng SUN XiaoGuang MAYES Richard T. 10Effect of semi-continuous water washing on the combustion behaviors of agricultural organic solid waste显示文摘Combustion of agricultural organic solid waste(AOSW)was an ideal solution for their resource utilization in view of their massive annual production and great potential for reduction of fossil fuel utilization.However,high alkali and alkaline earth metals(AAEMs)content in the feedstock can arose severe fouling and slagging issues and thus prohibiting its vast utilization.In this study,a semi-continuous water washing method was proposed to preliminarily remove AAEMs from agricultural organic solid waste and its effects on the combustion behaviors of washed solid product were investigated.Results showed that the combustion index S were improved to 2.63×10-6,over 68%of the total ashes were removed from the cotton stalk,and 96.3%,89.0%and 74.7%of K,Na and Mg were effectively removed,respectively.Moreover,the softening temperature of low temperature ash from the washed sample was as high as 1450◦C,538◦C higher than the low temperature ash from the original sample;the base acid ratio and fouling index were improved from high slagging and fouling risk(1.7 and 90.8)of the original organic solid waste to low and medium risk(0.4 and 3.5),respectively.All these results signified the contributing effect of proposed semi-continuous water washing method on the combustion of agricultural organic solid waste.In a word,this study provided a promising method for fouling and slagging inhibition during the agricultural organic solid waste combustion.Xiangxi Wang Zhenzhong Hu Jinrong Ma Linlin Yi Jian Li Yanfeng Cheng Jianfei Ma Na An Feng Wang Xian Li Junjun Yan Bo Wei Yue Li Guangqian Luo Hong Yao 2023Carbon Resources Conversion2023,6,1:0
11Three Gorges Dam:the changing trend of snail density in the Yangtze River basin between 1990 and 2019显示文摘Background The area of Oncomelania hupensis snail remains around 3.6 billion m^(2),with newly emerging and reemergent habitats continuing to appear in recent years.This study aimed to explore the long-term dynamics of snail density before and after the operation of Three Gorges Dam(TGD).Methods Data of snail survey between 1990 and 2019 were collected from electronic databases and national schistosomiasis surveillance.Meta-analysis was conducted to estimate the snail density.Joinpoint model was used to identify the changing trend and inflection point.Inverse distance weighted interpolation(IDW)was used to determine the spatial distribution of recent snail density.Results A total of 3777 snail survey sites with a precise location of village or beach were identified.For the downstream area,snail density peaked in 1998(1.635/0.11 m^(2),95%CI:1.220,2.189)and fluctuated at a relatively high level before 2003,then declined steadily from 2003 to 2012.Snail density maintained lower than 0.150/0.11 m^(2) between 2012 and 2019.Joinpoint model identified the inflection of 2003,and a significant decreasing trend from 2003 to 2012 with an annual percentage change(APC)being−20.56%(95%CI:−24.15,−16.80).For the upstream area,snail density peaked in 2005(0.760/0.11 m^(2),95%CI:0.479,1.207)and was generally greater than 0.300/0.11 m2 before 2005.Snail density was generally lower than 0.150/0.11 m^(2) after 2011.Snail density showed a significant decreasing trend from 1990 to 2019 with an APC being−6.05%(95%CI:−7.97,−7.09),and no inflection was identified.IDW showed the areas with a high snail density existed in Poyang Lake,Dongting Lake,Jianghan Plain,and the Anhui branch of the Yangtze River between 2015 and 2019.Conclusions Snail density exhibited a fluctuating downward trend in the Yangtze River basin.In the downstream area,the operation of TGD accelerated the decline of snail density during the first decade period,then snail density fluctuated at a relatively low level.There still exists local areas with a high snail density.Long-term control and monitoring of snails need to be insisted on and strengthened.Yanfeng Gong Yixin Tong Honglin Jiang Ning Xu Jiangfan Yin Jiamin Wang Junhui Huang Yue Chen Qingwu Jiang Shizhu Li Yibiao Zhou 2023Infectious Diseases of Poverty2023,12,2:0

16Automatic test system development for digital beam position monitor of HEPS and BEPCII显示文摘Purpose Hundreds of digital beam position monitor processors(DBPM)are required to be produced during the construction of projects such as High Energy Photon Source(HEPS)and the upgrade project of the Beijing Electron Positron Collider(BEPCII),which brings great challenges to the test work.In order to achieve accurate,fast,and complete mass production tests of DBPMs,an automatic test system(ATS)has been developed in this article.Methods According to the test items of DBPM,the standardized testing softwareflow is designed based on virtual instru-ment program control technology and experimental physics and industrial control system(EPICS),which realize automatic adjustment of test parameters and automatic acquisition of test result data.Results and conclusions The ATS can realize one-button testing of channel coefficients,channel linearity,attenuator linearity,beam current dependence(BCD)and sampling signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),and generate test reports.The total test time is less than 3 minutes,which is significantly more efficient compared to manual testing.More than 90 BEPCII DBPMs has been tested by this ATS in the lab.The test results proved that such a system could automatically recognize defective products and satisfy the requirements of mass testing.Xuhui Tang Yaoyao Du Jianshe Cao Shujun Wei Zhi Liu Qiang Ye Huizhou Ma Jing Yang Guodong Gao Yukun Li Yanfeng Sui Junhui Yue 2022Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2022,6,3:0
17Streak camera calibration for bunch length measurement at BEPC II显示文摘Purpose Streak camera is an important device for bunch length measurement.The errors introduced by streak camera should be considered in measurement.In order to accurately measure bunch length,some streak camera calibrations are studied at BEPC II.Methods In this context,the point spread function,caused by the optical system,is measured at focus mode with both deflec-tions disabled.In the same conditions,the influence of camera gain on measurement is studied.For the dual sweep mode of streak camera,a calibration method using electrical delays is applied to calibrate the beam size result.Results Firstly,a point spread function calibration 1.78 ps of streak camera optical system is obtained with focus mode.Secondly,studying the effect of camera gain on measurement,an optimal camera gain range from 506 to 662 is selected,in which the bunch length measurement error is within 0.5 ps.Thirdly,a dual sweep calibration factor 1.02 is obtained.Conclusions For BEPCII bunch length,there is a little difference before and after the streak camera calibrations.However,for the accurate measurement of ultra-short bunch length,the calibrations are of great significance.Wan Zhang Dechong Zhu Yanfeng Sui Huizhou Ma Junhui Yue Jianshe Cao 2021Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,3:0

19Design and simulation of cavity BPM for BEPCII显示文摘Background In the linac of Beijing Electron Positron Collider II(BEPCII),the resolution of existing BPMs is several hundred microns.But the requirement of transverse position resolution of BPM for future top-up injection needs to be more precise.Purpose This paper is mainly concerned about the design and simulation of the cavity beam position monitor(CBPM)for BEPCII linac and free electron laser(FEL).The requirement of beam transverse position resolution for linac is several microns,even a few nanometers for FEL.Methods When the beam bunch goes through the CBPM,it can excite different electromagnetic field modes in resonator.In these modes,TM_(110) is the most sensitive to beam transverse position offset.The design of CBPM is aim to analyze the relationship between TM_(110) and beam transverse position by CST Studio and Ansys HFSS.Conclusion In this research,we design a pair of rectangular slots for position cavity to revise the direction of electromagnetic field.The simulation result of theoretical resolution is able to reach 15 nm@1nC with the operating frequency 2500 MHz.It is obviously that CBPM has more excellent resolution than all of operating BPM in BEPCII.Meanwhile,the research of CBPM improves the application of beam detection technology in BEPCII and accumulates technology for future design of HEPS and FEL.The mechanical design of the prototype is being fabricated.Jiashen Zhou Jianshe Cao Yanfeng Sui Junhui Yue Jun He 2019Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2019,3,3:0
