1Near-infrared to visible up-conversion emissions of Er^(3+) doped Al_2O_3 powders derived from the sol-gel method显示文摘The Er3+ doped Al2O3 powders were prepared by the sol-gel method using the aluminium isopropoxide [Al(OC3H7)3]-derived Al2O3 sols with addition of the erbium nitrate [Er(NO3)3.5H2O]. The different phase structure, including three crystalline types of (Al,Er)2O3 phases, γ, θ, α, and two Er-Al-O phases, ErAlO3 and Al10Er6O24, was obtained with the 1 mol% Er3+ doped Al2O3 powders at the different sintering temperatures of 600―1200℃. The green and red up-conversion emissions centered at about 523, 545 and 660 nm, corresponding respectively to the 2H11/2, 4S3/2→4I15/2 and 4F9/2→4I15/2 transitions of Er3+, were detected by a 978 nm semiconductor laser diodes excitation. The phase structure and OH content had evident influence on the up-conversion emissions intensity. The maximum intensities of both the green and red emissions were obtained respectively for the Er3+ doped Al2O3 powders sintered at 1200 ℃, which was composed mainly of α-(Al,Er)2O3, less of ErAlO3 and Al10Er6O24 phases, and with the least OH content. 5Synchronous regulation of morphology and electronic structure of FeNi-P nanosheet arrays by Zn implantation for robust overall water splitting显示文摘FeNi-based phosphides are one of the most hopeful electrocatalysts,whereas the significant challenge is to achieve prominent bifunctional catalytic activity with low voltage for water splitting.The morphology and electronic structure of FeNi-based phosphides can intensively dominate effective catalysis,therefore their simultaneous regulating is extremely meaningful.Herein,a robust bifunctional catalyst of Zn-implanted FeNi-P nanosheet arrays(Zn-FeNi-P)vertically well-aligned on Ni foam is successfully fabricated by Zn implanting strategy.The Zn fulfills the role of electronic donor due to its low electronegativity to enhance the electronic density of FeNi-P for optimized water dissociation kinetics.Meanwhile,the implantation of Zn into FeNi-P can effectively regulate morphology of the catalyst from thick and irregular nanosheets to ultrathin lamellar structure,which generates enriched catalytic active sites,leading to accelerating electron/mass transport ability.Accordingly,the designed Zn-FeNi-P catalyst manifests remarkable hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)activity with low overpotentials of 55 and 225 mV at 10 and 200 mA·cm^(−2),which is superior to the FeNi-P(82 mV@10 mA·cm^(−2)and 301 mV@200 mA·cm^(−2)),and even out-performing the Pt/C catalyst at a high current density>200 mA·cm^(−2).Moreover,the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)activity of Zn-FeNi-P also has dramatically improved(207 mV@10 mA·cm^(−2))comparable to FeNi-P(221 mV@10 mA·cm^(−2))and RuO_(2)(239 mV@10 mA·cm^(−2)).Noticeably,an electrolyzer based on Zn-FeNi-P electrodes requires a low cell voltage of 1.47 V to achieve 10 mA·cm^(−2),far beyond the catalytic activities of FeNi-P||FeNi-P(1.51 V@10 mA·cm^(−2))and the benchmark RuO_(2)||Pt/C couples(1.56 V@10 mA·cm^(−2)).This Zn-implanting strategy paves a new perspective for the development of admirable bifunctional catalysts.Li Sun Ying Dang Aiping Wu Chungui Tian Dongxu Wang Haijing Yan Yachen Gao Honggang Fu 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0
6Direct measurement and theoretical prediction model of interparticle adhesion force between irregular planetary regolith particles显示文摘Interparticle adhesion force has a controlling effect on the physical and mechanical properties of planetary regolith and rocks.The current research on the adhesion force of planetary regolith and rock particles has been primarily based on the assumption of smooth spherical particles to calculate the intergranular adhesion force;this approach lacks consideration for the adhesion force between irregular shaped particles.In our study,an innovative approach was established to directly measure the adhesion force between the arbitrary irregular shaped particles;the probe was modified using simulated lunar soil particles that were a typical representation of planetary regolith.The experimental results showed that for irregular shaped mineral particles,the particle size and mineral composition had no significant influence on the interparticle adhesion force;however,the complex morphology of the contact surface predominantly controlled the adhesion force.As the contact surface roughness increased,the adhesion force gradually decreased,and the rate of decrease gradually slowed;these results were consistent with the change trend predicted via the theoretical models of quantum electrodynamics.Moreover,a theoretical model to predict the adhesion force between the irregular shaped particles was constructed based on Rabinovich’s theory,and the prediction results were correlated with the experimental measurements.Heping Xie Qi Wu Yifei Liu Yachen Xie Mingzhong Gao Cunbao Li 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,11:0
7Dual-band dynamic reconfigurable intelligent surface for signal enhancement in millimeter wave显示文摘Millimeter wave with large bandwidth,high transmission rate,and low delay is considered a reliable alternative to cope with the spectrum shortage.However,the fast attenuation and narrow beam characteristics make it difficult to achieve long-distance or wide-range applications.Here,a 1-bit dual-band reflective reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)for signal enhancement in millimeter wave with 16×16 elements is designed,fabricated,and measured.Different from most existent RIS,dynamic programming is realized at two separate frequency bands by integrating the PIN diodes and field-programmable gate array(FPGA).Particularly,the beam deflection,dual-beam,and multi-beam are created based on the coding theory and convolution operation,proving the effectiveness of wavefront manipulation.Moreover,the far-field patterns and signal power with different coding sequences are measured and compared.It is indicated that the received signal power is 6–7 dB stronger than that without coding,which shows good agreement with the desired expectations.The proposed reconfigurable metasurface exhibits great potential in beam forming,making it a promising candidate for progressive wireless communication applications.YAO HuiMing DU XinRun WANG HengBin GAO Song PANG YaChen ZHENG HaiRong GONG HuiWen LI Yi XU JianChun ZHANG JianHua BI Ke 2024Science China(Technological Sciences)2024,67,4:0
