| 2 | Injectable collagen scaffold promotes swine myocardial infarction recovery by long-term local retention of transplanted human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘Stem cell therapy is an attractive approach for recovery from myocardial infarction(MI)but faces the challenges of rapid diffusion and poor survival after transplantation.Here we developed an injectable collagen scaffold to promote the long-term retention of transplanted cells in chronic MI.Forty-five minipigs underwent left anterior descending artery(LAD)ligation and were equally divided into three groups 2 months later(collagen scaffold loading with human umbilical mesenchymal stem cell(hUMSC)group,hUMSC group,and placebo group(only phosphate-buffered saline(PBS)injection)).Immunofluorescence staining indicated that the retention of transplanted cells was promoted by the collagen scaffold.Echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging(CMR)showed much higher left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and lower infarct size percentage in the collagen/hUMSC group than in the hUMSC and placebo groups at 12 months after treatment.There were also higher densities of vWf-,α-sma-,and cTnT-positive cells in the infarct border zone in the collagen/cell group,as revealed by immunohistochemical analysis,suggesting better angiogenesis and more cardiomyocyte survival after MI.Thus,the injectable collagen scaffold was safe and effective on a large animal myocardial model,which is beneficial for constructing a favorable microenvironment for applying stem cells in clinical MI. | Qiang Wangn Xiaojun He Bin Wang Jun Pan Chunying Shi Jie Li Liudi Wang Yannan Zhao Jianwu Dai Dongjin Wang | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,2: | 5 |

| 4 | Significant enhancement in water resistance of Pd/Al2O3 catalyst for benzene oxidation by Na addition显示文摘A series of Na-doped 1 wt% Pd/Al2O3 catalysts with different Na loadings were prepared by wet impregnation and tested for the catalytic oxidation of benzene. Suitable addition of Na had a remarkable promotion effect on water resistance and enhancement of low temperature activity of Pd/Al2O3 catalysts. The optimal mole ratio between Na and Pd was 1:1. The properties of the prepared catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer Emmett Teller (BET), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), O2-temperature-programmed desorption (O2-TPD), and in situ DRIFTS. Results indicated that the addition of Na not only decreased the content of adsorbed water species but also increased the amount of liable surface oxygen species, which are likely the key factors for the excellent water resistance of the catalyst. Na addition also improved the mobility of the lattice oxygen species, which was favorable for catalytic activity. Moreover, the well-dispersed negatively charged Pd particles and suitable redox properties derived from Na addition also contributed to the improved performance and water resistance of the Na1Pd1/Al2O3 catalyst. | 7 | Optimization of hot air drying process for tiger nut and analysis of fatty acid composition of tiger nut oil显示文摘Hot air temperature,hot air humidity,and hot wind speed were selected as independent variables of quadratic orthogonal rotation combination test design through single factor test.Drying time,energy consumption,chromatism value,luminosity value,hardness,rehydration ratio,and other indexes of the product were used as the response value of the test.Response surface methodology(RSM)was used to analyze the effects of independent variables on the quality of tiger nut(Cyperus esculentus L.),and the process parameters were combined and optimized.The results show that the suitable technological conditions for hot air drying of tiger nut are as follows:hot air temperature of 63.15°C,hot air humidity of 44.92%,hot air wind speed of 2.48 m/s.Under these conditions,the product has the advantages of the short drying cycle,low energy consumption,good color and luster,low hardness and good rehydration performance.The fatty acid composition and content of tiger nut oil were determined by gas chromatography.The fatty acid composition and content of tiger nut oil were compared with those of soybean oil,olive oil,rapeseed oil and sesame oil,the results show that among the saturated fatty acids in tiger nut oil,palm oil had the highest content of 11.172%,which was between soybean oil and olive oil.The main composition of unsaturated fatty acids in tiger nut oil is oleic acid,with a content of 77.605%,which is 3.6 times higher than that of soybean oil,and even higher than that of olive oil. | He Li Xiaoxiao Niu Jiajun Chai Changle Guo Yihao Sun Jianhua Li Chunying Li | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,6: | 1 |
| 8 | Broad-spectrum and powerful neutralization of bacterial toxins by erythroliposomes with the help of macrophage uptake and degradation显示文摘Anti virulence strategy has been considered as one of the most promising approaches to combat drug-rcesistant bacterial infections.Porc-forming toxins(PFTs)are the largest class of bacterial toxins,inficting their virulence ffect through creating pores on the cell membrane.However,curent solutions for eliminating PFTs are mostly designed based on their molecular structure,requiring customized design for different interactions.In the present study,we employed erythroliposome(denoted as RM-PL),a biomimetic platform constructed by artificial lipid membranes and natural erythrocyle membranes,to necutralize different hemolytic PFTs regardless of their molecular structure.When tested with model PFTs,including a-hemolysin,listeriolysin O,and streptolysin O,RM-PL could completely inhibit toxin-induced hemolysis in a concentration-dependent manner.In vivo studies further confirmed that RM-PL.could eficiently neuralize various toxins and save animals'lives without causing damage to 0rgans or tissues.In addition,we explored the underlying mechanisms of this efficient detoxification ability and found that it was mainly macrophages in the spleen and the liver that took up RM-PL-absorbed toxins through a variety of endocytosis pathways and digested them in lysosomes.In summary,the biomimetic RM-PL presented a promising system for broad-spectrum and powerful toxin neutralization with a mech-anism of lysosome-mediaed loxin degradation. | Chunying Liu Shuangrong Ruan Ying He Xuejing Li Yuefei Zhu Honglan Wang Hanwei Huang Zhiqing Pang | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,11: | 1 |
| 9 | Formaldehyde oxidation on Pd/USY catalysts at room temperature: The effect of acid pretreatment on supports显示文摘The complete catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde (HCHO) to CO_(2)and H_(2)O at room temperature is a green route for indoor HCHO removal.Zeolite is an excellent carrier material for HCHO oxidation due to its large surface area,intricate pores and high adsorption capacity.However,the zeolite-supported noble metal catalysts have currently shown relatively low activity especially at room temperature.In this work,we present a facile acid treatment strategy for zeolite catalysts to improve the hydroxyl concentration and further enhance their catalytic activity for HCHO oxidation.Activity tests illustrated that HCHO could be completely oxidized to CO_(2)and H_(2)O at a nearly 100%conversion rate with a weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) of 150,000 mL/(g·hr) at 25℃,when the support of Pd/USY catalysts was pretreated by hydrochloric acid with a concentration of 0.20 mol/L.The characterization results revealed that the active hydroxyl groups originated from the dealumination in the acid treatment play a key role in the HCHO oxidation reaction.The deduced reaction mechanism suggests that bridging hydroxyl groups may oxidize HCHO to dioxymethylene(DOM) species and terminal hydroxyl groups are responsible for the transformation of DOM groups to formate (HCOO) species. | Xiaofeng Liu Chunying Wang Yumin Chen Qi Qin Yaobin Li Hong He | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3: | 1 |

| 16 | Preclinical pharmacological study on ^(125)I-IPPA显示文摘Myocardial uptake of 125I-IPPA in rats showed a peak of 4.4% of injected dose per gram. The half elimination time of myocardium was 3.8 min and the maximal uptake of thyroid is only 0.005%ID/organ at 120min. The initial half time of 2.7 min in rabbits was obtained from the elimination curve of radioactivity in blood. In vitro binding test for 125I-IPPA to HSA showed rather constant level of activation during two hours. The second peak of extraction was observed in major organs of rats, in rabbits’ elimination of radioactivity and in binding test for 125I-IPPA to albumin in vivo. Toxicity trial was up to standard. The tolerance of a mouse to IPPA was 560 times as high as that of a person to IPPA. It demonstrated that 125I-IPPA could be quickly extracted by myocardium, and its catabolites were excreted in the urine with almost no iodine loss.
