1An experimental study of phase transformations in olivine under pressure and temperature conditions corresponding to the mantle transition zone显示文摘High-pressure polymorphs of olivine (wadsleyite and ringwoodite) are major minerals in the mantle transition zone (MTZ).Phase transformations in olivine are important for a series of geodynamic problems such as the mineralogical and evolutionary history of the mantle,mantle convection patterns,and deep focus earthquakes in subduction zones.In this study,we examine phase transformations in olivine with two compositions,namely Mg 2 SiO 4 (Fo 100) and (Mg 0.9 Fe 0.1) 2 SiO 4 (Fo 90),at pressures between 14.1 and 20 GPa and a constant temperature of 1400°C,using the newly installed multi-anvil system at the Laboratory for Studies of the Earth's Deep Interior (SEDI),China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).At 14.1 GPa,Fo 90 transformed completely into the wadsleyite structure (β),while Fo 100 remained as olivine (α).Between 14.8 and 15.6 GPa,both Fo 100 and Fo 90 transformed into the wadsleyite structure.Wadsleyite crystals were identified by two characteristic Raman peaks between 722 and 723 and 917 and 919 cm 1.They exhibit a bimodal grain size distribution:large-crystals with average grain sizes greater than 100 μm and microcrystals less than 10 μm.The population of microcrystals increased with pressure,apparently due to the increase in over-pressure (the difference between the experimental pressure condition and the equilibrium transformation pressure at 1400°C),which promotes nucleation and retards grain growth.All run charges contained large numbers of wadsleyite microcrystals,because of the low activation energy of the nucleation process.The experimentally observed microstructure may shed light on the morphology of wadsleyite observed in shocked meteorites.At 19.5 GPa,wadsleyite coexisted with ringwoodite (γ) in Fo 100,but was absent in Fo 90.At 20 GPa,both samples transformed completely into ringwoodite,which was characterized by the 798 and 840 cm 1 Raman lines.Ringwoodite crystals are euhedral grains (average grain size 10-20 μm),with well-developed triple junctions.The complex upper mantle structure in eastern China determined from seismological studies cannot be explained by the simple transformation sequence of the olivine system alone.Phase transformations in other pyroxene-normative components (including pyroxenes and garnets) and the interaction of these components with olivine may be responsible for the complex structure.High-pressure and high-temperature experimental studies on complex systems (e.g.olivine-pyroxene),combined with data from geophysical exploration,may help in establishing a more realistic geological-petrological model for eastern China and further our understanding of the possible physical mechanisms that are responsible for the complex structure.Such studies will have profound implications for understanding the dynamic processes in the deep Earth interior.WU Yao WANG YanBin ZHANG YanFei JIN ZhenMin WANG Chao ZHOU ChunYin 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,8:5
2Decomposition of ammonium sulfate residue in a high solid/gas ratio suspension state with an industrial-scale reactor system(production line)显示文摘Ammonium sulfate residue is a particulate solid and is produced during the manufacture of ammonium sulfate fertilizer.The residue used in this study contained a large portion of calcium carbonate,from which active lime(CaO) was recovered via thermal decomposition.We used a purpose-built device to decompose the residue in a semi-suspension state.We found that CaO had the highest activity when residue was decomposed at 850-900 ℃.Our experiments indicated that ammonium sulfate residue should be decomposed in a suspension state to produce active CaO.Based on our laboratory test findings,an industrial-scale production line with a high solid/gas ratio in a suspension state was devised.The optimal operating conditions for the decomposition of the ammonium sulfate residue to produce high quality CaO were also investigated.We found that the CaCO_3 decomposition rate was high and the CaO product was highly active,averaging 170 s by the citric acid method.Morphology measurements showed that the CaO product had a porous structure and a large specific surface ensuring high activity.Qi Li Delong Xu Yanxin Chen Yanfei Yao Zhi Sun Songxiong Ding 2015Particuology2015,13,5:4
3The pilot test of Pt-Pd and Pt-Rh feeds extracted and separated with a new sulfoxide extractant显示文摘Platinum, palladium and rhodium of the raw feeds extracted and separated with a new sulfoxide extractant (MSO) were studied in the paper. The pilot test results showed that the percentage extractions are more than 99% for platinum and palladium in Pt-Pd feed, and the percentage strippings are 100% and 99.2% with HCl and ammonia, respectively. The ratio of palladium to platinum is 0.0016 in stripping platinum solution, and the ratio of platinum to palladium is 0.0020 in strip- ping palladium solution. The percentage extraction of platinum is 99% in Pt-Rh feed, and the percentage stripping is 100%. The ratio of rhodium to platinum is 0.0002 in stripping platinum solution. 4Construction of Rat Model of Hepatic Fibrosis with Blood Stasis Syndrome Integrated with Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Syndrome and Western Medicine Disease显示文摘[Objective]According to the theory of blood stasis in traditional Chinese medicine( TCM),the animal modeling method of hepatic fibrosis integrated with pathology and symptoms was explored and improved,to construct a new type of rat model of hepatic fibrosis with blood stasis syndrome integrated with traditional Chinese and western medicine. [Method]The hepatic fibrosis model of blood stasis with blood stasis syndrome was constructed by jointing multi factors,including intragastric administration of ethanol,high fat and low protein feeding,joint injection of dimethylnitrosamine( DMN),bovine serum albumin( BSA) and norepinephrine( NE). The modeling method was further compared with traditional CC14 single-factor modeling method from the aspects of mortality,blood stasis syndrome of TCM,syndrome grading,general morphology of liver pathology,liver function changes,as well as expression levels of three kinds of collagen( type I and type III collagen,α-SMA) determined by immunohistochemical staining method,and four items of rat hepatic fibrosis( HA,P3 NP,LN,CⅣ content) determined by radio enzyme immunoassay. [Result]In blood stasis group,(1) the mortality of rats was 20%;(2) model rats appeared typical blood stasis syndromes of TCM such as ecchymosis,dark purple tongue,loose stool,and blood stasis syndrome grading was high;(3) fibrosis changes of liver such as dark white surface,dense gray nodules and brittle texture were observed in general morphological examination;(4) serological liver function tests found that ALT and AST of model rats,as well as TBIL,DBIL and IBIL contents increased significantly;(5) immunohistochemical staining demonstrated that the expression levels of three kinds of collagen(type I and type III collagen,α-SMA) increased significantly;(6) four items of rat serum hepatic fibrosis,HA,P3 NP,LN,CⅣ content,increased significantly;(7) the above results in blood stasis syndrome model group(except morality and liver function) were higher than those in CC14 modeling group,and the difference was statistically significant( P < 0. 05). [Conclusion]The new improved modeling method effectively reduces high mortality in traditional CC14 modeling method.In addition to low mortality,the model animal has dual characteristics of disease in western medicine and syndrome in TCM. 5Reciprocal activation ofα5-nAChR and STAT3 in nicotine-induced human lung cancer cell proliferation显示文摘Cigarette smoking is the top environmental risk factor for lung cancer.Nicotine,the addictive component of cigarettes,induces lung cancer cell proliferation,invasion and migration via the activation of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors(nAChRs).Genome-wide association studies(GWAS)show that CHRNA5 gene encoding a5-nAChR is especially relevant to lung cancer.However,the mechanism of this subunit in lung cancer is not clear.In the present study,we demonstrate that the expression of a5-nAChR is correlated with phosphorylated STAT3(pSTAT3)expression,smoking history and lower survival of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)samples.Nicotine increased the levels of a5-nAChR mRNA and protein in NSCLC celllinesandactivatedtheJAK2/STAT3 signaling cascade.Nicotine-induced activation of JAK2/STAT3signaling was inhibited by the silencing of a5-nAChR.Characterization of the CHRNA5 promoter revealed four STAT3-response elements.ChIP assays confirmed that the CHRNA5 promoter contains STAT3 binding sites.BysilencingSTAT3 expression,nicotine-induced upregulation of a5-nAChR was suppressed.Downregulation of a5-nAChR and/or STAT3 expression inhibited nicotine-induced lung cancer cell proliferation.These results suggest that there is a feedback loop between a5-nAChR and STAT3 that contributestothenicotine-inducedtumor cell proliferation,which indicates that a5-nAChR is an important therapeutic target involved in tobacco-associated lung carcinogenesis.Yao Zhang Yanfei Jia Ping Li Huanjie li Dongjie Xiao YunshanWang Xiaoli Ma 2017Journal of Genetics and Genomics2017,44,7:3
6Preparation of polythiophene/WO_3 organic-inorganic hybrids and their gas sensing properties for NO_2 detection at low temperature显示文摘Polythiophene/WO3(PTP/WO3)organic-inorganic hybrids were synthesized by an in situ chemical oxidative polymerization method,and char- acterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and thermo-gravimetric analysis(TGA).The Polythiophene/ WO3 hybrids have higher thermal stability than pure polythiophene,which is beneficial to potential application as chemical sensors.Gas sensing measurements demonstrate that the gas sensor based on the Polythiophene/WO3 hybrids has high response and good selectivity for de- tecting NO2 of ppm level at low temperature.Both the operating temperature and PTP contents have an influence on the response of PTP/WO3 hybrids to NO2.The 10 wt%PTP/WO3 hybrid showed the highest response at low operating temperature of 70-C.It is expected that the PTP/WO3 hybrids can be potentially used as gas sensor material for detecting the low concentration of NO2 at low temperature.Jing Huan~ Yanfei Kang Taili Yang Yao Wang Shurong Wang 2011Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2011,20,4:2

8Experimental constraints on the genesis of Jadeite quartzite from Shuanghe,Dabie Mountain ultra-high pressure metamorphic terrane显示文摘Jadeite quartzite,essentially a two-phase rock made up of jadeite and quartz,is one of the most important UHP lithologies occurring in the Dabie Mountain ultrahigh pressure metamorphic belt and forms layers in biotite-plagioclase gneiss.High pressurehigh temperature studies on natural albite from the country rock gneiss were undertaken to reveal the—in parts—complex mineralogical changes that occur in the jadeite quartzite during prograde metamorphism.Experiments were conducted at 800–1200°C,in the pressure range of 2.0–3.5 GPa.One of the most intriguing results shows that the low pressure boundary of the jadeite+coesite stability field is located between about 3.2 GPa at 1000°C and 3.4 GPa at 1200°C,thus about(0.2–0.3)±0.1GPa higher than the quartz-coesite transition curve,given the uncertainty in the present study.Minor amounts of sodium and aluminum entering the structure of quartz and the intimate intergrowth texture of the run products may contribute to the observed pressure shift.Combined petrological and mineralogical studies on the run products and the natural rocks yield the following prograde reaction sequence to have occurred:The protolith of the jadeite-quartzite from Dabie Mountain is an albitized siltstone/greywacke characterized by an albite+quartz assemblage.During prograde metamorphism albite breaks down to form jadeite+quartz and thus at this stage two types of quartz can be distinguished whereas type-I-quartz already existed in the protolith,type-II-quartz represents a newly formed reaction product of albite.During further P-T-increase the pure type-I-quartz was transformed to coesite,whereas type-II-quartz(together with jadeite)was still present as a stable phase because of its impurities of Na and Al.At a later stage during further subduction,type-II-quartz also decomposes to form coesite.These studies represent an important puzzlement for a better understanding of the evolution of jadeite-quartzite from the Dabie Mountain during continental crust subduction and thus contribute to a more complete knowledge of the formation of the Dabie Mountain UHP orogenic belt in general.ZHANG YanFei WU Yao WANG Chao JIN ZhenMin Hans-Peter SCHERTL 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,1:1

10Clinical and antibody characteristics reveal diverse signatures of severe and non-severe SARS-CoV-2 patients显示文摘Background COVID-19 pandemic continues,clarifying signatures in clinical characters and antibody responses between severe and non-severe COVID-19 cases would benefit the prognosis and treatment.Methods In this study,119 serum samples from 37 severe or non-severe COVID-19 patients from the First People's Hospital of Yueyang were collected between January 25 and February 182020.The clinical features,antibody responses targeting SARS-CoV-2 spike protein(S)and its different domains,SARS-CoV-2-specific Ig isotypes,IgG subclasses,ACE2 competitive antibodies,binding titers with FcγIIa and FcγIIb receptors,and 14 cytokines were comprehensively investigated.The differences between severe and non-severe groups were analyzed using Mann–Whitney U test or Fisher’s exact test.Results Severe group including 9 patients represented lower lymphocyte count,higher neutrophil count,higher level of LDH,total bile acid(TBA)(P<1×10–4),r-glutaminase(P=0.011),adenosine deaminase(P<1×10–4),procalcitonin(P=0.004),C-reactive protein(P<1×10–4)and D-dimer(P=0.049)compared to non-severe group(28 patients).Significantly,higher-level Igs targeting S,different S domains(RBD,RBM,NTD,and CTD),FcγRIIa and FcγRIIb binding capability were observed in a severe group than that of a non-severe group,of which IgG1 and IgG3 were the main IgG subclasses.RBD-IgG were strongly correlated with S-IgG both in severe and non-severe group.Additionally,CTD-IgG was strongly correlated with S-IgG in a non-severe group.Positive RBD-ACE2 binding inhibition was strongly associated with high titers of antibody(S-IgG1,S-IgG3,NTD-IgG,RBD-IgA,NTD-IgA,and CTD-IgA)especially RBD-IgG and CTD-IgG in the severe group,while in the non-severe group,S-IgG3,RBD-IgG,NTD-IgG,and NTD-IgM were correlated with ACE2 blocking rate.S-IgG1,NTD-IgM and S-IgM were negatively associated with illness day in a severe group,while S-IgG3,RBD-IgA,CTD-IgA in the severe group(r=0.363,P=0.011)and S-IgG1,NTD-IgA,CTD-IgA in the non-severe group were positively associated with illness day.Moreover,GRO-α,IL-6,IL-8,IP-10,MCP-1,MCP-3,MIG,and BAFF were also significantly elevated in the severe group.Conclusion Antibody detection provides important clinical information in the COVID-19 process.The different signatures in Ig isotypes,IgG subclasses,antibody specificity between the COVID-19 severe and non-severe group will contribute to future therapeutic and preventive measures development.Hongye Wang Dongshan Yan Ya Li Yanfei Gong Yulin Mai Bingxiang Li Xiaoyong Zhu Xinrui Wan Liyun Xie HuaKe Jiang Min Zhang Ming Sun Yufeng Yao Yongzhang Zhu 2022Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,1:0
11Gas sensing performance of polyaniline/ZnO organic-inorganic hybrids for detecting VOCs at low temperature显示文摘Polyaniline (PANI) was prepared by the chemical oxidative polymerization of aniline, and ZnO, with the mean particle size of 28 nm, was synthesized by a non-aqueous solvent method. The organic-inorganic PANI/ZnO hybrids with different mass fractions of PANI were obtained by mechanically mixing the prepared PANI and ZnO. The gas sensing properties of PANI/ZnO hybrids to different volatile organic compounds (VOCs) including methanol, ethanol and acetone were investigated at a low operating temperature of 90°C. Compared with the pure PANI and ZnO, the PANI/ZnO hybrids presented much higher response to VOCs. Meanwhile, the PANI/ZnO hybrid exhibited a good reversibility and a short response-recovery time, implying its potential application for gas sensors. 13Research Survey of Animal Model of Hepatic Fibro-sis Integrated with Western Medicine Diseases and Traditional Chinese Medicine^TCM~)Syndrome显示文摘Although the animal models of hepatic fibrosis developed by former researchers have pathological changes of hepatic fibrosis,they do not include characteristics of important TCM syndromes such as stagnation of qi,deficiency of qi,liver depression,phlegm-dampness and blood stasis because of single-factor modeling. Animal models of hepatic fibrosis and animal models integrated disease and syndrome were reviewed,and several new types of integrated disease and syndrome animal models constructed by multiple-factor modeling method were evaluated,under the guidance of etiological theory of TCM. This kind of hepatic fibrosis model animals has dual characteristics of disease and syndrome. It is consistent with pathological characteristics of hepatic fibrosis in western medicine when replicating the basic characteristics accorded with TCM syndrome. 14Preparation of porous α-Fe_2O_3-supported Pt and its sensing performance to volatile organic compounds显示文摘Porous α-Fe2O3 was synthesized by a simple hydrothermal treatment of FeCl3 aqueous solution followed by a calcination process. In the synthesis of porous α-Fe2O3, no templates or pore-directing agents were used. The as-prepared porous α-Fe2O3 was further employed as a support for loading Pt nanoparticles. The gas sensing performance of the obtained porous α-Fe2O3-supported Pt to VOCs was investigated. The sensor presented a high response and fast response-recovery characteristic to several VOCs including acetone, ether, methanol, ethanol, butanol and hexanol. Meanwhile, it exhibited a much higher response than the pure α-Fe2O3 at the operating temperature of 260°C. 17Geochemical characteristics of produced fluids from CBM wells and their indicative significance for gas accumulation in Daning-Jixian block,Ordos Basin显示文摘The Daning-Jixian block,the eastern edge of the Ordos Basin,is one of the most potential areas for CO_(2)geological storage,enhanced coalbed methane recovery(ECBM)exploration and production in China in recent decades.The ionic composition and total dissolved solids(TDS)of the produced water,coal organic matter maturity,molecular composition and carbon isotope characteristics of the produced gas were utilized to analyze the hydrogeological condition,CBM generation and migration characteristics in this area.The CBM enrichment patterns and the geological impacts on gas well production characteristics were revealed.The optimal area for CBM development and CO_(2)geological storage in the study area were also proposed.Dominated by the Xueguan reverse fault zone,the hydraulic unit in this area can be divided into two parts(i.e.,the recharge-runoff zone in the east and the weak runoff-stagnation zone in the west).The thermogenic gas is dominating CBM genesis in this area.Secondary biogenic gas replenishment is only distributed in the eastern margin area,where theδ13C1 value is less than the thermal simulation results as an influence of hydrodynamic fractionation.Finally,two models of CBM formation and accumulation were proposed,1)thermogenic CBM migrated by hydrodynamic and resorbed for preservation at impermeable fault boundaries;2)thermogenic CBM trapped by fault and accumulated by hydrodynamic in slope zone.The gas production performance,generally increased from east to west,is mainly dominated by hydrogeological conditions.Generally,the west side of the fault zone is the enrichment and high-yield area for ECBM development and CO_(2)geological storage in the study area.Taotao YAN Chao YANG Shuai ZHENG Yadong BAI Wei CHEN Yanfei LIU Wenguang TIAN Shasha SUN Shangwen JIN Jiahang WANG Zhenxing LIU Huifang YAO 2023Frontiers of Earth Science2023,17,3:0
18Single-cell Sequencing Reveals Clearance of Blastula Chromosomal Mosaicism in In Vitro Fertilization Babies显示文摘Although chromosomal mosaic embryos detected by trophectoderm(TE)biopsy offer healthy embryos available for transfer,high-resolution postnatal karyotyping and chromosome testing of the transferred embryos are insufficient.Here,we applied single-cell multi-omics sequencing for seven infants with blastula chromosomal mosaicism detected by TE biopsy.The chromosome ploidy was examined by single-cell genome analysis,with the cellular identity being identified by single-cell transcriptome analysis.A total of 1616 peripheral leukocytes from seven infants with embryonic chromosomal mosaicism and three control ones with euploid TE biopsy were analyzed.A small number of blood cells showed copy number alterations(CNAs)on seemingly random locations at a frequency of 0%-2.5%per infant.However,none of the cells showed CNAs that were the same as those of the corresponding TE biopsies.The blastula chromosomal mosaicism may be fully self-corrected,probably through the selective loss of the aneuploid cells during development,and the transferred embryos can be born as euploid infants without mosaic CNAs corresponding to the TE biopsies.The results provide a new reference for the evaluations of transferring chromosomal mosaic embryos in certain situations.Yuan Gao Jinning Zhang Zhenyu Liu Shuyue Qi Xinmeng Guo Hui Wang Yanfei Cheng Shuang Tian Minyue Ma Hongmei Peng Lu Wen Fuchou Tang Yuanqing Yao 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,6:0
19Sensitivity of solar greenhouse envelopes to the thermal disfigurements and optimal selection of the thermal insulation quilt显示文摘The objectives of the present work are focused on exploration of the reasons for temperature difference in different envelopes,the sensitivity of envelopes of solar greenhouse to thermal disfigurements and optimal selection of the thermal insulation quilt.Theoretical analysis and derivation are conducted according to the experimental results of surface temperature,convective heat transfer,and heat flux density in different envelopes which with thermal disfigurements of solar greenhouse using heat transfer theory.The results revealed that the difference of intrinsic thermal conductivity and thickness of the envelopes leads to difference in the thermal flux and thus in the surface temperature of different envelopes.Compared with the front roof and back roof,the wall is more sensitive to thermal disfigurements.According to the influence of thermal disfigurements on solar greenhouse temperature,the allowable thermal disfigurements area fraction of front roof and back roof are given.Based on the analysis of heat transfer theory and test results,the work given the expression of the thickness and thermal conductivity of thermal insulation quilt under different outdoor minimum temperatures for optimal selection of thermal insulation quilt based on comprehensive considering factors of the solar greenhouse structure,crop demand,outdoor minimum temperature,and insulation quilt properties.The results of this work give technical criterion for whether the envelopes with thermal disfigurements needs to be repaired or replaced,and it also provides theoretical and technical support for design the solar greenhouse as well as methodological guidance for the optimal selection of the thermal insulation quilt.Yachen Sun Yao Zhang Chenmeng Zhu Shaonan Xu Bowen Liu Yanfei Cao Changji Zhou Yaqi Zhou Zhirong Zou Encai Bao 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,5:0
