| 2 | esveratrol inhibits necroptosis by mediating the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL pathway in myocardial hypoxia/reoxygenation injury显示文摘Resveratrol(RES)protects myocardial cells from hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)-caused injury.However,the mechanism of this effect has not been clarified.Thus,in this study,we aimed to determine whether RES attenuates H/R-induced cell necroptosis by inhibiting the tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)/receptor-interacting protein kinase 1(RIP1)/RIP3/mixed-lineage kinase domain-like(MLKL)signaling pathway.Rat myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)models and H/R-injured cell models were constructed.Our study showed that myocardial H/R injury significantly increased the levels of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL by western blot analysis.Cell viability assay and 4,6-dianmidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI)-propidium iodide staining showed that the cell viability was decreased,and necroptosis was increased after myocardial H/R injury.The expressions of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL in H/R myocardial cells treated with different concentrations of RES were significantly downregulated.In addition,we also found that the cell viability was increased and necroptosis was decreased in dose-dependent manners when H/R-injured cells were treated with RES.In addition,the enhanced effect of TNF-αon necroptosis in myocardial H/R-injured cells was improved by RES,and the effect of RES was confirmed in vivo in I/R rats.This study also showed that RES suppresses necroptosis in H9c2 cells,which may occur through the inhibition of the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL signaling pathway.Our data suggest that necroptosis is a promising therapeutic target and may be a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of myocardial I/R injury. | Yongjun Hu Hongwei Pan Jianqiang Peng Jin He Mingxiang Tang Sulan Yan Jingjing Rong Junshan Li Zhaofen Zheng Haijun Wang Yanfu Liu Xin Zhong | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4: | 6 |

| 4 | Effects of sodium ferulate on the ultrarapid delayed rectifier K^+ current in human atrial myocytes显示文摘Objective:To study the effects of sodium ferulate on the ultrarapid delayed rectifier K+ current(IKur) in human atrial myocytes. Methods:Human atrial myocytes were isolated by enzyme dispersion method. IKur in human atrial myocytes were recorded by using the whole cell patch clamp. The changes of IKur were compared in the absence and the presence of sodium ferulate. Results:There was no effect of 0.4 g/L sodium ferulate on I-V relation of IKur. However, 0.4 g/L sodium ferulate inhibited IKur to some degrees at each test pulse. The current densities of IKur at +60 mV decreased from 4.997 ± 0.35 PA/PF to 3.331 ± 0.26 PA/PF(n = 6, P < 0.05). The inhibitory effect was concentration-dependent. IC50 was(0.41±0.03)g/L and the Hill coefficient was 0.95±0.05. | 6 | Molecular beam epitaxy of superconducting PdTe_2 films on topological insulator Bi_2Te_3显示文摘Majorana fermions have been observed in topological insulator/s-wave superconductor heterostructures. To manipulate Majorana fermions, superconducting materials should be deposited on the surfaces of topological insulators. In this study, highquality superconducting PdTe_2 films are deposited on the topological insulator Bi_2Te_3 surface using molecular beam epitaxy. The surface topography and electronic properties of PdTe_2/Bi_2Te_3 heterostructures are investigated via in situ scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy. Under Te-rich conditions, the Pd atoms presumably form PdTe_2 film on Bi_2Te_3 surface rather than diffuse into Bi_2Te_3. The superconductivity of the PdTe_2/Bi_2Te_3 heterostructure is detected at a transition temperature of ~1.4 K using the two-coil mutual inductance technique. | 7 | Edge-enriched N, S co-doped hierarchical porous carbon for oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘The development of carbon materials with high electrochemical performance for next-generation energy device is emerging, especially N, S co-doped carbon materials have sparked intensive attention. However,the exploration of N, S co-doped carbon with well-defined active sites and hierarchical porous structures are still limited. In this study, we prepared a series of edge-enriched N, S co-doped carbon materials through pyrolysis of thiourea(TU) encapsulated in zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(TU@ZIF) composites,which delivered very good oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) performance in alkaline medium with onset potential of 0.94 V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE), good stability and methanol tolerance. Density functional theory(DFT) calculations suggested that carbon atoms adjacent to N and S are probable active sites for ORR intermediates in edge-enriched N, S co-doped carbon materials because higher electron density can enhance O_(2)adsorption, lower formation barriers of intermediates, improving the ORR performance comparing to intact N, S co-doped carbon materials. | 8 | Inhibiting NF-κB increases cholesterol efflux from THP-1 derived-foam cells treated with AngⅡ via up-regulating the expression of ATP-binding cassette transporter A1显示文摘Objective: To study the role of nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB) in cholesterol efflux from THP-1 derived-foam cells treated with AngiotensinⅡ(AngⅡ). Methods:Cultured THP-1 derived-foam cells were treated with AngⅡ or preincubated with tosyl-phenylalanine chloromethyl-ketone(TPCK) NF-κB inhibitor. The levels of activated NF-κB in the cells were examined by sandwich ELISA. Cellular cholesterol content was studied by electron microscopy scanning and zymochemistry via fluorospectrophotometer and cholesterol efflux was detected by scintillation counting technique. ABCA1 mRNA and protein were quantified by RT-PCR and Western blotting. Results:Addition of TPCK to the cells before AngⅡ stimulation attenuated the response of NF-κB p65 nuclear translocation induced by AngⅡ and showed no peak in foam cells group and caused a reduction in cholesterol content and an increase in cholesterol efflux by 24.1%(P < 0.05) and 41.1%(P < 0.05) respectively,when compared with AngⅡgroup. In accordance,the ABCA1 mRNA and protein were increased by 30% and 19%(P < 0.05) respectively,when compared with AngⅡ group. | 11 | Reactant enrichment in hollow void of Pt NPs@MnOx nanoreactors for boosting hydrogenation performance显示文摘In confined mesoscopic spaces,the unraveling of a catalytic mechanism with complex mass transfer and adsorption processes such as reactant enrichment is a great challenge.In this study,a hollow nanoarchitecture of MnOx-encapsulated Pt nanoparticles was designed as a nanoreactor to investigate the reactant enrichment in a mesoscopic hollow void.By employing advanced characterization techniques,we found that the reactant-enrichment behavior is derived from directional diffusion of the reactant driven through the local concentration gradient and this increased the amount of reactant.Combining experimental results with density functional theory calculations,the superior cinnamyl alcohol(COL)selectivity originates from the selective adsorption of cinnamaldehyde(CAL)and the rapid formation and desorption of COL in the MnOx shell.The superb performance of 95%CAL conversion and 95%COL selectivity is obtained at only 0.5 MPa H2 and 40 min.Our findings showcase that a rationally designed nanoreactor co uld boost catalytic performance in chemoselective hydrogenation,which can be of great aid and potential in various application scenarios. | Yanfu Ma Liwei Wang Wantong Zhao Tianyi Liu Haitao Li Wenhao Luo Qike Jiang Wei Liu Qihua Yang Jun Huang Riguang Zhang Jian Liu GQMax Lu Can Li | 2023 | National Science Review2023,10,10: | 0 |

A minimum interface trap density of 3×10^(11) cm^(-2) eV^(-1) is obtained without postmetallization annealing treatment.Additionally, utilizing Ti/Al_(2)O_(3)/In P MOS gate stack,we fabricated ultra-thin body buried In0.35 Ga0.65 As channel MOSFETs on Si substrates with optimized on/off trade-off.
