1Ginkgo biloba extract improved cognitive and neurological functions of acute ischaemic stroke:a randomised controlled trial显示文摘Purpose To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Ginkgo biloba extract(GBE)in acute ischaemic stroke and its impact on the recurrence of vascular events.Methods We conducted a multicentre,prospective,randomised,open label,blinded,controlled clinical trial enrollingpatients with an onset of acute stroke within 7 days from five hospitals in China Jiangsu Province.Participants were assigned to the GBE group(450 mg GBE with 100 mg aspirin daily)or the control group(100 mg aspirin daily)for 6 months.The primary outcome was the decline in the Montreal Cognitive Assessment score at 6 months.Secondary outcomes were other neuropsychological tests of cognitive and neurological function,the the incidence of adverse events and vascular events.results 348 patients were enrolled:179 in the GBE group and 169 in the control group.With 18 patients lost to follow-up,the dropout rate was 5.17%.Admission data between two groups were similar,but in the GBE group there was a marked slow down in the decline in the Montreal Cognitive Assessment scores(−2.77±0.21 vs−1.99±0.23,P=0.0116(30 days);−3.34±0.24 vs−2.48±0.26,P=0.0165(90 days);−4.00±0.26 vs−2.71±0.26,P=0.0004(180 days))compared with controls.The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale scores at 12 and 30 days,the modified Rankin Scale scores for independent rate at 30,90 and 180 days,and the Barthel Index scores at 30,90 and 180 days in the GBE group were significantly improved compared with controls.Improvements were also observedin GBE groups for Mini-Metal State Examination scores of 30,90 and 180 days,Webster's digit symbol test scores at 30 days and Executive Dysfunction Index scores at 30 and 180 days.No significant differences were seen in the incidence of adverse events or vascular events.conclusions We conclude that GBE in combination with aspirin treatment alleviated cognitive and neurological deficits after acute ischaemic stroke without increasing the incidence of vascular events.Shanshan Li Xinjiang Zhang Qi Fang Junshan Zhou Meijuan Zhang Hui Wang Yan Chen Biyun Xu Yanfeng Wu Lai Qian Yun Xu 2017Stroke & Vascular Neurology2017,2,4:25
2Factors Associated with Thrombolysis Outcome in Ischemic Stroke Patients with Atrial Fibrillation显示文摘The outcome of early intravenous thrombolysis for ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF)is worse than that without thrombosis. How to increase the efficacy of intravenous thrombolysis for AF-related ischemic stroke remains largely unknown. In this study, we investigated factors that influence the effect of intravenous thrombolysis in these patients. Our results showed that thrombolysis was independently associated with a favorable outcome(P \ 0.001) and did not influence the mortality of AF-related ischemic stroke, although it increased the risk of hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. Risk factors for a poor outcome at admission were:heart failure(P = 0.045); high systolic pressure(P = 0.039); high blood glucose(P = 0.030); and a high National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) score(P \ 0.001). Moreover, high systolic pressure at admission(P = 0.007), high blood glucose(P = 0.027), and a high NIHSS score(P \ 0.001) were independent risk factors for mortality at 3 months. Besides thrombolysis, a high NIHSS score(P = 0.006) and warfarin taken within 48 h before stroke onset(P = 0.032) were also independent risk factors for symptomatic hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. 3Vertically standing PtSe_2 film: a saturable absorber for a passively mode-locked Nd:LuVO_4 laser显示文摘The novel vertically standing Pt Se2 film on transparent quartz was prepared by selenization of platinum film deposited by the magnetron sputtering method, and an Nd:Lu VO4 passively mode-locked solid-state laser was realized by using the fabricated Pt Se2 film as a saturable absorber. The X-ray diffraction pattern and Raman spectrum of the film indicate its good crystallinity with a layered structure. The thickness of Pt Se2 film is measured to be 24 nm according to the cross-section height profile of the atomic force microscope image. Highresolution transmission electron microscopy images clearly demonstrate its vertically standing structure with an interlayer distance of 0.54 nm along the c-axis direction. The modulation depth(ΔT) and saturation fluence(Φs)of Pt Se2 film are measured to be 12.6% and 17.1 μJ∕cm2, respectively. The obtained mode-locked laser spectrum has a central wavelength of 1066.573 nm, with a 3 d B bandwidth of 0.106 nm. The transform limited pulse width of the mode-locked laser was calculated to be 15.8 ps. A maximum average output power of 180 m W with a working repetition rate of 61.3 MHz is obtained. 4esveratrol inhibits necroptosis by mediating the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL pathway in myocardial hypoxia/reoxygenation injury显示文摘Resveratrol(RES)protects myocardial cells from hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)-caused injury.However,the mechanism of this effect has not been clarified.Thus,in this study,we aimed to determine whether RES attenuates H/R-induced cell necroptosis by inhibiting the tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)/receptor-interacting protein kinase 1(RIP1)/RIP3/mixed-lineage kinase domain-like(MLKL)signaling pathway.Rat myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)models and H/R-injured cell models were constructed.Our study showed that myocardial H/R injury significantly increased the levels of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL by western blot analysis.Cell viability assay and 4,6-dianmidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI)-propidium iodide staining showed that the cell viability was decreased,and necroptosis was increased after myocardial H/R injury.The expressions of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL in H/R myocardial cells treated with different concentrations of RES were significantly downregulated.In addition,we also found that the cell viability was increased and necroptosis was decreased in dose-dependent manners when H/R-injured cells were treated with RES.In addition,the enhanced effect of TNF-αon necroptosis in myocardial H/R-injured cells was improved by RES,and the effect of RES was confirmed in vivo in I/R rats.This study also showed that RES suppresses necroptosis in H9c2 cells,which may occur through the inhibition of the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL signaling pathway.Our data suggest that necroptosis is a promising therapeutic target and may be a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of myocardial I/R injury.Yongjun Hu Hongwei Pan Jianqiang Peng Jin He Mingxiang Tang Sulan Yan Jingjing Rong Junshan Li Zhaofen Zheng Haijun Wang Yanfu Liu Xin Zhong 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4:6
5Self-organizing fuzzy clustering neural network and application to electronic countermeasures effectiveness evaluation显示文摘A self-organizing fuzzy clustering neural network by combining the self-organizing Kohonen clustering network with the fuzzy theory is proposed. This network model is designed for the effectiveness evaluation of electronic countermeasures, which not only exerts the advantages of the fuzzy theory, but also has a good ability in machine learning and data analysis. The subjective value of sample versus class is computed by the fuzzy computing theory, and the classified results obtained by self-organizing learning of Kohonen neural network are represented on output layer. Meanwhile, the fuzzy competition learning algorithm keeps the similar information between samples and overcomes the disadvantages of neural network which has fewer samples. 6Mechanical properties and microstructure analysis of refilling friction stir welding on 2219 aluminum alloy显示文摘The 2219 aluminum alloy under refilling friction stir welding (RF-FSW) was investigated. The micrographs showed that the bead could be divided into six zones, and the grain size and shape were greatly different in these zones. According to the microstructure analysis, the weld nugget zone and the shoulder stirring zone consisted of equiaxed grains, while the grains in the heat affected zone were seriously coarsened. It was obvious that bending deformation occurred in the thermo-mechanically affected zone. According to the microhardness analysis, the lowest hardness of the weld was at the thermo-mechanically affected zone, and the microhardness increased with the retraction of the stir-pin. The tensile strength and elongation of the bead were 70% and 80% of the base metal, respectively. The tensile strength was slightly different for the stable stage and the retraction stage, while the elongation decreased in the retraction stage. 7In situ stress state and seismic hazard in the Dayi seismic gap of the Longmenshan thrust belt显示文摘In the Longmenshan thrust belt,the Dayi seismic gap,an area with few earthquakes,is located between the ruptures of the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake and the 2013 Lushan Earthquake,with a length of approximately 40–60 km.To date,however,the extent of the seismic hazard of the Dayi seismic gap and whether this gap is under high stress are still hotly debated.To further evaluate the seismic hazard of the Dayi seismic gap with regard to stress,two boreholes(1,000 and 500 m deep)were arranged to carry out hydraulic fracturing in situ stress measurement on either side of the Shuangshi-Dachuan fault zone.This zone has a high seismic hazard and the capacity to undergo surface rupture.Through the analogy of this new data with stability analysis using Byerlee’s Law and existing stress measurement data collected before strong earthquakes,the results show that the area surrounding the Shuangshi-Dachuan fault zone in the Dayi seismic gap(Dachuan Town)is in a state of high in situ stress,and has the conditions necessary for friction slip,with the potential hazard of moderate to strong earthquakes.Our results are the first to reveal the in situ stress profile at a depth of 1,000 m in the Dayi seismic gap,and provide new data for comprehensive evaluation of the seismic hazard in this seismic gap,which is of great significance to explore the mechanism of earthquake occurrence and to help mitigate future disaster.Bing LI Furen XIE Jinshui HUANG Xiwei XU Qiliang GUO Guangwei ZHANG Junshan XU Jianxin WANG Dawei JIANG Jian WANG Lifeng DING 2022Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,7:3
8Tracing of dye molecules in living plants through NaGdF_4:Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)fluorescent nanoprobes显示文摘In this paper, we demonstrated trace of dye molecules in living plants. The NaGdF4:Yb^(3+),Er^(3+) nanoparticles probe was used to detect the rhodamine B(RhB) in bean sprout. It is found that the fluorescencedye can be efficiently imbibed during the growing process and the absorbance presented a position dependence effect, which was supported by the upconversion spectra and the fluorescent image characterization. In addition, the concentration of the residual RhB in bean sprout can be efficiently traced by the synthesized probe based on the fluorescent resonant energy transfer. Finally, the relation between the excitation power, concentration and the ratio of yellow to green emission are discussed in detail. 9Fabrication of YBCO superconducting microarray by sol-gel process using photosensitive metal chelates显示文摘We used yttrium acetate, barium acetate, and copper acetate as the starting materials, benzalacetone (BzAcH) as chemical modifier, and methanol (MEOH) as solvent to synthesize a stable fluorine-free YBCO precursor sol. The coated YBCO gel film using this precursor sol exhibited photosensitivity to UV irradiation at a wavelength of 330 nm. After the subsequent exposing, the YBCO gel film showed a decreased solubility in several organic solvents. Based on the photosensitivity of the YBCO/BzAcH gel film, YBCO superconducting microarray with the pitch of 5 μm was fabricated by irradiating the gel film with UV light through a mask, followed by leaching the unirradiated area in a mixture solvent of methanol and n-butyl alcohol with the volume ratio of 1:1. 10Status and Suggestions of the Pesticide Use in the Protected Vegetable Fields in Shandong Province显示文摘This paper briefly introduced the issues of food safety and environmental pollution caused by pesticide residues in protected vegetables, discussed the status and problems of pesticide use in the protected vegetables in Shandong Province, and analyzed the main factors leading to the pesticide residues, including the low education of most farmers, lack of correct identification of diseases and insect pests, use of pesticides based on personal experience, pesticide preparation by bare hands, large dose of pesticide, frequent application, pesticide spraying without protection, uneven spraying, leakage of pesticide from the sprayers, etc.. 12Oxidation Behaviors of C-ZrB_2-SiC Composite at 2100℃ in Air and O_2显示文摘The oxidation behaviors of graphite and ZrB_2-SiC modified graphite composite were investigated at 2100℃ in1X105 Pa air and 0.2X105 Pa O2. The oxidation tests were conducted in an induction heating furnace. The oxidation of these two materials followed the linear rate law. The determined radius loss rates of graphite and C-ZrB_2-Si C at 2100℃ were 2.18X10-2and 1.05X10-2%/s in 1X105 Pa air, and 3.23X10 2 and 2.21X10 2%/s in 0.2X105 Pa O2, respectively. The incorporation of ZrB2 and SiC decreased remarkably the oxidation rate of graphite because the oxide scale formed on the sample surface during oxidation helps in reducing the exposed surface area of the underneath substrate. In two different atmospheres with the same oxygen partial pressure, both graphite and ZrB_2-SiC experienced more severe oxidation at 2100℃ in0.2X105 Pa O2than in 1X105 Pa air. The oxidation rate-controlling step for graphite and ZrB_2-SiC was proposed to be the inward diffusion of oxygen through the boundary layer and through the pores in the oxide scale, respectively. 18Influence of heat treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of Al/Al-Cu graded materials显示文摘Five-layered Al/Al-Cu functionally graded material (FGM) was prepared by powder metallurgy technology, and the subsequent heat treatment was carried out for the graded material. The microstructures and distribution of Cu element under pressure sintering (F), solution treatment (T4) and artificial aging treatment (T6) were investigated, and the Vickers hardness and flexural properties of different states were tested. The results showed that sintered compact with dense structure and compositional continuous change was obtained. The second-phase CuAl 2 was dispersively distributed along grain boundary of Al matrix. After solution treatment at 503 C for 3 h, CuAl 2 phase obviously decreased and dissolved into the Al matrix, and the flexural strength was thereupon enhanced to 228.5 MPa. With the subsequent aging treatment at 150 C for 15 h, the majority of flake shaped precipitates θ phases were uniformly distributed in the matrix. And the distribution of Cu element became gradual continuous compared to sintered compact.
