1In-situ fabrication of PtSe2/GaN heterojunction for self-powered deep ultraviolet photodetector with ultrahigh current on/off ratio and detectivity显示文摘The research of ultraviolet photodetectors(UV PDs)have been attracting extensive attention,due to their important applications in many areas.In this study,PtSe2/GaN heterojunction is in-situ fabricated by synthesis of large-area vertically standing two-dimensional(2D)PtSe2 film on n-GaN substrate.The PtSe2/GaN heterojunction device demonstrates excellent photoresponse properties under illumination by deep UV light of 265 nm at zero bias voltage.Further analysis reveals that a high responsivity of 193 mA·W^-1,an ultrahigh specific detectivity of 3.8 × 10^14 Jones,linear dynamic range of 155d B and current on/off ratio of^10^8,as well as fast response speeds of 45/102μs were obtained at zero bias voltage.Moreover,this device response quickly to the pulse laser of 266 nm with a rise time of 172 ns.Such high-performanee PtSe2/GaN heteroj u nction UV PD demonstrated in this work is far superior to previously reported results,suggesting that it has great potential for deep UV detection.Ranran Zhuo Longhui Zeng Huiyu Yuan Di Wu Yuange Wang Zhifeng Shi Tingting Xu Yongtao Tian Xinjian Li Yuen Hong Tsang 2019Nano Research2019,12,1:11
2Tribological properties of copper matrix composites reinforced with homogeneously dispersed graphene nanosheets显示文摘Graphene reinforced copper matrix composites(Gr/Cu) were fabricated by electrostatic self-assembly and powder metallurgy. The morphology and structure of graphene oxide, graphene oxide-Cu powders and Gr/Cu composites were characterized by scanning electronic microscopy, transmission electronic microscopy, X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy, respectively. The effects of graphene contents,applied loads and sliding speeds on the tribological behavior of the composites were investigated. The results indicate that the coefficient of friction of the composites decreases first and then increases with increasing the graphene content. The lowest friction coefficient is achieved in 0.3 wt% Gr/Cu composite,which decreases by 65% compared to that of pure copper. The coefficient of friction of the composite does not have significant change with increasing the applied load, however, it increases with increasing the sliding speed. 3Inverse design of digital nanophotonic devices using the adjoint method显示文摘A high-efficiency inverse design of'digital'subwavelength nanophotonic devices using the adjoint method is proposed.We design a single-mode 3dB power divider and a dual-mode demultiplexer to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed inverse design approach,called the digitized adjoint method,for single-and dual-object optimization,respectively.The optimization comprises three stages:1)continuous variation for an'analog'pattern;2)forced permittivity biasing for a'quasi-digital'pattern;and 3)a multilevel digital pattern.Compared with the conventional brute-force method,the proposed method can improve design efficiency by about five times,and the performance optimization can reach approximately the same level.The method takes advantages of adjoint sensitivity analysis and digital subwavelength structure and creates a new way for the efficient and high-performance design of compact digital subwavelength nanophotonic devices,which could overcome the efficiency bottleneck of the brute-force method,which is restricted by the number of pixels of a digital pattern,and improve the device performance by extending a conventional binary pattern to a multilevel one.KAIYUAN WANG XINSHU REN WEIJIE CHANG LONGHUI LU DEMING LIU MINMING ZHANG 2020Photonics Research2020,8,4:7
4Relations of Uranium Enrichment and Carbonaceous Debris within the Daying Uranium Deposit, Northern Ordos Basin显示文摘Carbonaceous debris(CD)is widely distributed in the sandstone of the Daying Uranium Deposit,northern Ordos Basin,and coexists with uranium minerals,which provides a favorable case for studying their relationship.Vitrinite reflectance(VR),macerals,moisture,volatile matter,ash,total sulfur(S_t)and uranium concentration of CD within the sandstone were studied.The results show that VR ranges from 0.372%Ro to 0.510%Ro with an average value of 0.438%Ro,indicating that CD is in the stage of lignite.The contents of vitrinite(V),inertinite(I)and minerals range from 83.18%–99.48%,0–7.70%,and 0.34%–15.72%,respectively,with the corresponding average value of 95.51%,1.34%,and 3.15%,respectively which indicates that V is the major maceral.Moisture on air dried basis(M_(ad)),volatile matter yield on dry,ash-free basis(V_(daf)),ash yield on dried basis(A_d)and S_t mostly range from 7.95%–16.09%,44.70%–66.54%,4.84%–26.24% and 0.24%–1.12%,respectively,while their average values are 12.43%,53.41%,16.57% and 0.77%,respectively.It suggests that CD is of medium-high moisture,super-high volatile matter,low-medium ash and low sulfur.Uranium concentration ranges from 29 ppm to 92 ppm with an average value of 50 ppm,and uranium concentration increases with the decreased distance to CD.On the whole,M_(ad )and V_(daf) decrease with increasing burial depth,which indicates that CD experienced the burial metamorphism.However,M_(ad) and V_(daf) obviously decrease in uranium-rich areas whereas A_d and S_(t )noticeably increase.Comprehensive studies suggest that there is a certain relationship between uranium enrichment and CD.CD in the stage of lignite helps the adsorption of uranium.On one hand,radioactivity uranium enrichment makes organic matter maturation increase with a decrease in moisture and volatile matter.On the other hand,an increase in organic matter maturation,caused by radioactivity uranium enrichment,results in an increase in uranium minerals,which is instructive in the study of regional uranium mineralization and metallogenic regularity.Fan Zhang Yangquan Jiao Liqun Wu Hui Rong Longhui Wang 2019Journal of Earth Science2019,30,1:6

6Differential expression of immune-related genes between healthy volunteers and type 2 diabetic patients with spleen-deficiency pattern显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical differentiation of spleen-deficiency pattern(SDP), a group of symptoms and signs defined in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine for its clinical practice.METHODS: Peripheral venous blood(> 3 m L) was collected from each of six type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)-SDP patients and six healthy volunteers. After the isolation of peripheral white blood cells(PWBCs), total RNA was extracted, and quality control was performed on all RNA samples. Microarray experiments were conducted using the Agilent human whole genome gene chip, and genes demonstrating differential expression were screened. Bioinformatics analysis was conducted on these genes using several online databases.RESULTS: We screened a total of 175 differentially expressed genes(DEGs), of which 111(63%) were down-regulated and 64(37%) were up-regulated in T2DM-SDP patients compared with healthy controls. Among the 175 genes, 158 had biological function annotations: 46(29%) were directly related to an individual's immune regulation or response, 25(16%) were associated with substance and energy metabolism of PWBCs which could also indirectly influence immunity, and the remaining87(55%) were involved in a variety of PWBC biological processes that might eventually influence the immune function. Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analysis revealed that the DEGs were predominantly enriched in seven immune-related pathways. Hierarchical cluster analysis identified gene expression patterns that were distinguishable between the two study groups.CONCLUSION: Our results suggest that T2DM-SDP patients experience significant hypoimmunity and/or immune dysfunctions, and possess a specific gene expression profile. 7Wearable CNT/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene/PDMS composite strain sensor with enhanced stability for real-time human healthcare monitoring显示文摘Strain sensors with good stability are vital to the development of wearable healthcare monitoring systems.However,the design of strain sensor with both duration stability and environmental stability is still a challenge.In this work,we propose an ultra-stable and washable strain sensor by embedding a coupled composite film of carbon nanotube(CNT)and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene into polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)matrix.The composite strain sensor with embedded microstructure and uneven surface makes it conformal to skin,while the CNT/MXene sensing layer exhibits a resistance sensitive to strain.This sensor shows reliable responses at different frequencies and with long-term cycling durability(over 1,000 cycles).Meanwhile,the CNT/MXene/PDMS composite strain sensor provides the advantages of superior anti-interference to temperature change and water washing.The results demonstrate less than 10%resistance changes as the temperature rises from-20 to 80℃or after sonication in water for 120 min,respectively.The composite sensor is applied to monitor human joint motions,such as bending of finger,wrist and elbow.Moreover,the simultaneous monitoring of the electrocardiogram(ECG)signal and joint movement while riding a sports bicycle is demonstrated,enabling the great potential of the as-fabricated sensor in real-time human healthcare monitoring.Xiaowen Xu Yucheng Chen Pei He Song Wang Kai Ling Longhui Liu Pengfei Lei Xianjun Huang Hu Zhao Jianyun Cao Junliang Yang 2021Nano Research2021,14,8:5

11A new method for evaluating the oil mobility based on the relationship between pore structure and state of oil显示文摘An accurate evaluation of the shale oil mobility is crucial to its cost-effective exploitation.This study presents a method to assess shale oil mobility by integrating the pore structure and oil states distributions.First,a set of three discrete organic extracts(EOM-A,B and C)were obtained by sequential extraction.The relationships among the EOMs and the oil states were inferred from the group compositions and fluorescence properties of the produced shale oil(free state).The results showed that EOMs A and B represent free oil in the open and closed pores,respectively,while the EOM-C represents adsorbed oil.Then,NMR T_(1)-T_(2)map is used to determine the T_(2-cutoff)values that indicate the pore size ranges of different oil states.Free oil resides mainly in larger pore space(T_(2)>0.5 ms),while the adsorbed oil in smaller pore space(0.2 ms0.5 and T_(2-cutoff)>1.0 ms suggest that the free oil in connected pores has the highest mobility.This work can provide a reference for evaluating the shale oil potential and prospectivity in other regions.Longhui Bai Bo Liu Xiaofei Fu Qinhong Hu Qiuli Huo Liu Wang Qiming Wang Li FuMehdi Ostadhassan 2023Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,6:2
12Modeling the contribution of abiotic exchange to CO_2 flux in alkaline soils of arid areas显示文摘Recent studies on alkaline soils of arid areas suggest a possible contribution of abiotic exchange to soil CO2 flux(Fc).However,both the overall contribution of abiotic CO2 exchange and its drivers remain unknown.Here we analyzed the environmental variables suggested as possible drivers by previous studies and constructed a function of these variables to model the contribution of abiotic exchange to Fc in alkaline soils of arid areas.An automated flux system was employed to measure Fc in the Manas River Basin of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region,China.Soil pH,soil temperature at 0–5 cm(Ts),soil volumetric water content at 0–5 cm(θs)and air temperature at10 cm above the soil surface(Tas)were simultaneously analyzed.Results highlight reduced sensitivity of Fc to Ts and good prediction of Fc by the model Fc=R10Q10(Tas–10)/10+r7q7(pH–7)+λTas+μθs+e which represents Fc as a sum of biotic and abiotic components.This presents an approximate method to quantify the contribution of soil abiotic CO2 exchange to Fc in alkaline soils of arid areas.WenFeng WANG Xi CHEN GePing LUO LongHui LI 2014Journal of Arid Land2014,6,1:2
13Influence of synthesis temperatures on the crystalline grain growth and morphology of lanthanum magnesium hexaaluminate显示文摘Lanthanum magnesium hexaaluminate(LaMgAl_(11)O_(19), LMA) was prepared at different temperatures by solid-state reaction. Phase compositions and crystal morphologies of specimens synthesized at different temperatures were investigated using X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM). It was observed that the crystalline grain size of LMA was not only dependent on the preparation temperature but also on its powder morphology. In the temperature range of 1300 e1550℃, LMA showed platelet grain and the average crystalline grain size increases with the increase in temperature. At1600℃, if the powder was sintered for two times, the equiaxed grain could be found with the decrease in grain space, resulting in the reduction of the crystalline grain size. Styles of specimens(powder or disk) might have no obvious influence on morphologies and sizes of LMA crystalline grains which were synthesized with the well-dispersed raw material mixtures. 14Species Diversity and Elevational Distribution of Amphibians in the Xianxialing and Wuyishan Mountain Ranges,Southeastern China显示文摘The species diversity and altitudinal distribution of amphibians along an eleva tional gradient of 200-1600 m in the Xianxialing and Wuyishan Mountain Ranges in Southeastern China were investiga ted through time-constra ined visual surveys along 32 transect lines in 9 survey areas,in which the ha bitat types were also recorded.A total of 27 amphibian species belonging to 19 genera,7 families,and 2 orders were found.The species diversity of the amphibians plateaued at low elevation,and the altitudinal boundary of their distribution was at 800 m.Their species compositions were dissimilar in the two mountain ranges probably beca use the annual average temperature and annual rainfall were different in both areas.The eleva tional Rapoport's rule demonstrated that the species range size of the amphibians expanded as the elevation increased in both mountain ranges.The results of the cross species method supported the rule only when the influence of the low-frequency occurrence proba bility of an investigated species was excluded,whereas those of the Steven's method strongly corroborated the rule rega rdless of the incidental occurrence or absence of the species.Zhiqiang CHEN Yun TANG Yingying WANG Yindie LI Longhui LIN Guohua DING 2020Asian Herpetological Research2020,11,1:2

18Differences in hydrocarbon composition of shale oils in different phase states from the Qingshankou Formation, Songliao Basin, as determined from fluorescence experiments显示文摘The phase state of shale oil has a significant impact on its mobility.The mineral and organic matter in shale reservoirs play an important role in oil phase.This study attempts to evaluate the properties of shale oils in different phase states and to investigate how these differences are related to initial shale composition.Samples from the first member of the Qingshankou(Q1)Formation were analyzed using X-ray diffraction,total organic carbon content,rock pyrolysis solvent extraction and group component separation.Subsequently,fluorescence techniques were used to quantitatively determine the content and properties of the free oil(FO),the adsorbed oil associated with carbonate(ACO),and the adsorbed oil associated with silicate and clay-organic complexes(AKO).The results showed that non-hydrocarbons and asphaltenes are the primary fluorescing compounds on shale grain.FO is the dominant phase in the Q1 Formation.The quantitative grain fluorescence on extraction(QGF-E)and total scanning fluorescence(TSF)spectra of ACO and AKO show a significant redshift compared to the FO.The TSF spectra of FO have a characteristic skew to the left and a single peak distribution,suggesting a relatively light hydrocarbon component.The TSF spectra of ACO show a skew to the right and an even,double-peaked distribution.The TSF spectra of AKO show a single peak with a skew to the right,indicating that ACO and AKO hydrocarbons are heavier than FO hydrocarbons.In summary,enrichment of carbonate minerals in shale may result in mis-identification of“sweet spots”when using QGF.The normalized fluorescence intensity of QGF-E and TSF are effective indexes allowing oil content evaluation.As an additional complicating factor,hydrocarbon fractionation occurs during generation and expulsion,leading to a differentiation of oil composition.And FO has high relatively light hydrocarbon content and the strongest fluidity.Longhui BAI Bo LIU Jianguo YANG Shansi TIAN Boyang WANG Saipeng HUANG 2021Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,2:1
