| 2 | A Recombinant Rabies Virus Expressing Fms-like Tyrosine Kinase 3 Ligand(Flt3L) Induces Enhanced Immunogenicity in Mice显示文摘Rabies is a zoonotic disease that still causes 59,000 human deaths each year,and rabies vaccine is the most effective way to control the disease.Our previous studies suggested that the maturation of DC plays an important role in enhancing the immunogenicity of rabies vaccine.Flt3L has been reported to own the ability to accelerate the DC maturation,therefore,in this study,a recombinant rabies virus expressing mouse Flt3L,designated as LBNSE-Flt3L,was constructed,and its immunogenicity was characterized.It was found that LBNSE-FU3L could enhance the maturation of DC both in vitro and in vivo,and significantly more TFH cells and Germinal Center B(GC B)cells were generated in mice immunized with LBNSE-FU3L than those immunized with the parent virus LBNSE.Consequently,expressing of Flt3L could elevate the level of virus-neutralizing antibodies(VNA)in immunized mice which provides a better protection from a lethal rabies virus challenge.Taken together,our study extends the potential of Flt3L as a good adjuvant to develop novel rabies vaccine by enhancing the VNA production through activating the DC—Tfh^GC B axis in immunized mice. | Yachun Zhang Jie Yang Mingming Li Min Cui Zhen FFu Ling Zhao Ming Zhou | 2019 | Virologica Sinica2019,34,6: | 3 |
| 3 | Structural Networks Constraints on Alteration and Mineralization Processes in the Jiaojia Gold Deposit, Jiaodong Peninsula, China显示文摘Structural network studies could give appropriate opportunities to understanding structural/hydrothermal events,transportation of ore-forming fluids and water/rock interaction process.Four structural deformation/hydrothermal events have been identified in the Jiaojia fault zone according to microtexture and deformation of quartz and feldspars.Plagioclase experienced ductile deformation period with bended polysynthetic twin stripes(>450℃)in the early stage,followed by K-feldspar alteration period with ductile-brittle deformation and subgrain rotation recrystallization of quartz(380-450℃).Then,sericitization period occurred extensive ductile-brittle deformation(350-420℃)and extensive subgrain rotation recrystallization with a little bulging recrystallization in quartz.In the last,gold precipitation-related pyrite-sericite-quartz alteration was dominated by brittle deformation(300-380℃)and total bulging recrystallization of quartz.From the K-feldspar alteration zone and sericitization zone to pyrite-sericitequartz alteration zone,fractal dimension values of dynamically recrystallized quartz grains increase from 1.07 and 1.24 to 1.32,the calculated paleo strain rate values of dynamically recrystallized quartz range from 10^-10^.7(380℃)-10^-9.6(450℃)and 10^-9.3(350℃)-10^-8.2(420℃)to 10^-9.5(300℃)-10^-8.0(380℃),and the paleo differential stress values increase from 36.9 and 39.3,to 121.3 MPa.The increase of fractal dimension values and decrease of grain size from pyrite-sericite-quartz alteration zone and sericitization zone to K-feldspar alteration zone decreased average water/rock ratio values,which could lead to different acidity and redox conditions of ore-forming fluids and mineralization differences.Two kinds of orecontrolling fractures have been distinguished which include the gentle dip types(18°-50°)with NW(315°-355°)and SW(180°-235°)dip hosting No.Ⅰorebodies and the steep dip types(74°-90°)with NE(45°-85°)and SE(95°-165°)dip hosting No.Ⅲorebodies.These faults/fractures crosscut altered Linglong granite of footwall of the Jiaojia fault zone as rhombohedrons that promoted the connection between fractures in the K-feldspar alteration zone and fluid flow passages near the main fault face.Research results indicate No.Ⅰand No.Ⅲorebodies should be derived from the same mineralization event and belong to different orebody types in different mineralization sites under the same structural networks. | Huanlong Hu Shuangliang Liu Hong-Rui Fan Kuifeng Yang Yabin Zuo Yachun Cai | 2020 | Journal of Earth Science2020,31,3: | 1 |

| 5 | Cs_(3)Bi_(2)l_(9)-hydroxyapatite composite waste forms for cesium and iodine immobilization显示文摘Perovskite-based ceramic composites were developed as potential waste form materials for immobilizing cesium(Cs)and iodine(I)with high waste loadings and chemical durability.The perovskite Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)has high Cs(22 wt%)and I(58 wt%)content,and thus can be used as a potential host phase to immobilize these critical radionuclides.In this work,the perovskite Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)phase was synthesized by a cost effective solution-based approach,and was embedded into a highly durable hydroxyapatite matrix by spark plasma sintering to form dense ceramic composite waste forms.The chemical durabilities of the monolithic Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)and Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)-hydroxyapatite composite pellets were investigated by static and semi-dynamic leaching tests,respectively.Cs and I are incongruently released from the matrix for both pure Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)and composite structures.The normalized Cs release rate is faster than that of I,which can be explained by the difference in the strengths between Cs-I and Bi-I bonds as well as the formation of insoluble micrometer-sized BiOI precipitates.The activation energies of elemental releases based on dissolution and diffusion-controlled mechanisms are determined with significantly higher energy barriers for dissolution from the composite versus that of the monolithic Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9).The ceramic-based composite waste forms exhibit excellent chemical durabilities and waste loadings,commensurate with the state-of-the-art glass-bonded perovskite composites for I and Cs immobilization. | Kun YANG Yachun WANG Junhua SHEN Spencer M.SCOTT Brian J.RILEY John D.VIENNA Jie LIAN | 2022 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,5: | 0 |
| 6 | Characteristics and main control factors of Ordovician shoal dolomite gas reservoir in Gucheng area,Tarim Basin,NW China显示文摘Based on seismic, drilling data and experimental analysis, the characteristics and main controlling factors of shoal dolomite gas reservoir in the third member of Ordovician Yingshan Formation of Gucheng area, Tarim basin were examined.The study shows that the dolomite gas reservoir in Gucheng area is lithologic gas reservoir controlled by shoal and fault jointly,and its formation is mainly attributed to the following factors:(1) The continuously developing paleotectonic structure has been in the direction of gas migration and accumulation;(2) The large area of medium-high energy grain bank deposited in gentle slope environment is the material basis for the formation of dolomite reservoir;(3) Atmospheric water leaching and dolomitization and fluid dissolution in fault zone are the key factors for the formation of high-quality dolomite reservoir;(4)The natural gas comes from cracking of the ancient oil reservoir and hydrocarbon generation of dispersed organic matter in source rocks, and the NNE-trending strike-slip fault is the dominant channel for vertical migration of natural gas;(5) Limestone cap rocks in the first and second members of Yingshan Formation provide direct sealing for the formation of gas reservoir there. | 7 | An epi-allele of SMS causes Sanming dominant genic male sterility in rice显示文摘Male sterility is an important trait in rice for hybrid rice(Oryza sativa)breeding.However,the factors involved in dominant male sterility are largely unknown.Here,we identified a gene from Sanming dominant genic male sterile rice,named Sanming dominant male sterility(SMS),and reported that an epi-allele of this locus contributes to male sterility.Segregation analysis attributed dominant male sterility to a single locus,SMS,which we characterized using a male-sterile near isogenic line(NIL)of rice cultivar 93-11.The SMS locus was heterozygous in the male-sterile 93-11 NIL,containing an epi-allele identical to that in 93-11,and an epi-allele identical to that in rice cultivar Nipponbare,which we refer to as SMS9 and SMSN,respectively.SMS9is silent and hyper-methylated,whereas SMSNis expressed and hypo-methylated in the 93-11 NIL.Overexpressing SMSNled to male sterility.Mutations in SMS rescued the male sterility of the 93-11 NIL.Interestingly,we observed the duplication of SMSN in Nipponbare,but did not observe the duplication of SMS9in 93-11.Together,these findings suggest that the reduced methylation and enhanced expression of the SMSNepi-allele in the 93-11 NIL is responsible for its role in conferring dominant male sterility. | Yachun Yang Cheng Zhang Hao Li Zeyuan Yang Zuntao Xu Dewei Tai Dahu Ni Pengcheng Wei Chengxin Yi Jianbo Yang Yong Ding | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,12: | 0 |
