1Nanosecond photoelectric effects in all-oxide p-n junction of La_(0.9)Sr_(0.1)MnO_(3)/SrNb_(0.01)Ti_(0.99)O_(3)显示文摘Nanosecond (ns) photoelectric effects have been observed in all-oxide p-n junctions of La0.9Sr0.1MnO3/SrNb0.01Ti0.99O3 for the first time. The rise time was about 23 ns and the full width at half maximum was about 125 ns for the open-circuit photovoltaic pulse when the La0.9Sr0.1MnO3 thin film in the p-n junction was irradiated by a laser of ~20 ns pulse duration and 308 nm wavelength. 3Efficacy and safety of chemotherapy combined with bevacizumab in Chinese patients with metastatic colorectal cancer:A prospective,multicenter,observational,non-interventional phaseⅣtrial显示文摘Objective:Bevacizumab has an important and evolving role in improving outcomes in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC)worldwide and was approved in China in 2010.However,there are limited real-world data on the efficacy and safety of chemotherapy regimens combined with bevacizumab in Chinese patients with mCRC.This observational,phase IV trial study aimed to obtain more experience on the efficacy and safety of bevacizumab combined with chemotherapy in Chinese mCRC patients.Methods:Between September 2013 and November 2016,patients with histologically confirmed mCRC were enrolled in a prospective,multicenter,observational,non-interventional phase IV trial at 26 centers across China.Eligible patients received different chemotherapeutic regimens combined with bevacizumab.The efficacy and safety data in the intention-to-treat study population were analyzed.Results:A total of 611 patients were included in the efficacy analysis.The median overall survival and median progression-free survival was 18.00 and 10.05 months,respectively.The objective response rate was 21.00%and disease control rate was 89.40%.In subgroup analyses,the survival differences were observed according to metastatic status,duration of treatment and elevation in blood pressure.A total of 613 patients were evaluable for safety assessments.And 569(92.82%)patients reported at least one adverse event(AE),and 151(24.63%)experienced grade 3 or higher AEs.The incidence of bevacizumab-associated AEs of special interest was reported in 31(5.06%)patients with hypertension(n=12),abscesses and fistulae(n=7),bleeding(n=6),proteinuria(n=3),gastrointestinal perforation(n=2)and venous thrombotic events(n=1).Conclusions:This observational phase IV trial broadens our experience and knowledge of bevacizumab in the Chinese population and provides a good indication of its overall efficacy and safety.Bevacizumab in combination with chemotherapy offers clinical benefits to Chinese patients with mCRC and has an acceptable and manageable safety profile.Fenghua Wang Guanghai Dai Yanhong Deng Yong Tang Wei Wang Zuoxing Niu Feng Bi Liangjun Zhu Zengqing Guo Jin Yan Bing Hu Min Tao Shujun Yang Suzhan Zhang Lu Wen Ruihua Xu 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,4:2

5Preparation and Upconversion Luminescence of Nanocrystalline Gd_2O_3:Er^(3+),Yb^(3+)显示文摘Nanocrystalline Gd 1.77 Yb 0.2 Er 0.03 O 3 samples were prepared by combustion and precipitation methods.Structures and upconversion luminescence properties of samples were studied.The results of XRD show that all samples are cubic structure,the average crystallite size could be calculated as 23 nm and 39 nm, respectively.The lattice constants were obtained.The FT-IR spectra were measured to investigate the vibrational feature of the samples.Upconversion luminescence spectra of samples under 980 nm laser excitation were investigated.The strong red emission of samples were observed,and attributed to 4F 9/2 →4I 15/2 transitions of Er3+ions,the emission intensity for sample synthesized by precipitation method is stronger compared to that of combustion method.The possible upconversion luminescence mechanisms in nanocrystalline Gd 1.77 Yb 0.2 Er 0.03 O 3 were discussed.LI Yanhong HONG Guangyan ZHANG Yongming DAI Caiyun DAI Shuping 2008Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2008,23,4:1

7Phosphorus-doping-tuned PtNi concave nanocubes with high-index facets for enhanced methanol oxidation reaction显示文摘Surface engineering has been found to be an efficient strategy to boost the catalytic performance of noble-metal-based nanocatalysts.In this work,a small amount of P was doped to the surface of PtNi concave cube(P-PtNi CNC).Interestingly,the P-PtNi CNC nanocatalyst shows an enhanced methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)performance with achieving 8.19 times of specific activity than that of comercial Pt/C.The electrochemical in situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)results reveal that the surface P doping promotes the adsorption energy of OH,enhancing the resistance against CO poisoning.Therefore,the intermediate adsorbed CO(COads)reacted with adsorbed OH(OHads)through the Langmuir–Hinshelwood(LH)mechanism to generate CO_(2)and release surface active sites for further adsorption.This work provides a promising strategy via the incorporation of non-metallic elements into the PtNi alloys bounded with high-index facets(HIFs)as efficient fuel cell catalysts.Aixin Fan Congli Qin Ruxia Zhao Haixiao Sun Hui Sun Xiaoping Dai Jin-Yu Ye Shi-Gang Sun Yanhong Lu Xin Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:1
8Reduced smooth muscle-fibroblasts transformation potentially decreases intestinal wound healing and colitis-associated cancer in ageing mice显示文摘Cancer and impaired tissue wound healing with ageing are closely related to the quality of life of the elderly population.Given the increased incidence of cancer and the population ageing trend globally,it is very important to explore how ageing impairs tissue wound healing and spontaneous cancer.In a murine model of DSS-induced acute colitis and AOM/DSS-induced colitis-associated cancer(CAC),we found ageing significantly decreases intestinal wound healing and simultaneous CAC initiation,although ageing does not affect the incidence of AOM-induced,sporadic non-inflammatory CRC.Mechanistically,reduced fibroblasts were observed in the colitis microenvironment of ageing mice.Through conditional lineage tracing,an important source of fibroblasts potentially derived from intestinal smooth muscle cells(ISMCs)was identified orchestrating intestinal wound healing and CAC initiation in young mice.However,the number of transformed fibroblasts from ISMCs significantly decreased in ageing mice,accompanied by decreased intestinal wound healing and decreased CAC initiation.ISMCs-fibroblasts transformation in young mice and reduction of this transformation in ageing mice were also confirmed by ex-vivo intestinal muscular layer culture experiments.We further found that activation of YAP/TAZ in ISMCs is required for the transformation of ISMCs into fibroblasts.Meanwhile,the reduction of YAP/TAZ activation in ISMCs during intestinal wound healing was observed in ageing mice.Conditional knockdown of YAP/TAZ in ISMCs of young mice results in reduced fibroblasts in the colitis microenvironment,decreased intestinal wound healing and decreased CAC initiation,similar to the phenotype of ageing mice.In addition,the data from intestine samples derived from inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)patients show that activation of YAP/TAZ also occurs in ISMCs from these patients.Collectively,our work reveals an important role of the ageing stromal microenvironment in intestinal wound healing and CAC initiation.Furthermore,our work also identified a potential source of fibroblasts involved in colitis and CAC.Yi Liu Yanhong Ji Ruiyi Jiang Chao Fang Gang Shi Lin Cheng Yinan Zuo Yixin Ye Xiaolan Su Junshu Li Huiling Wang Yuan Wang Yi Lin Lei Dai Shuang Zhang Hongxin Deng 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,9:0
9Influence of the Calmodulin Antagonist EBB on Cyclin B1 and Cdc2-p34 in Human Drug-resistant Breast Cancer MCF-7/ADR Cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE To investigate the influence of O-(4-ethoxyl-butyl)- berbamine(EBB)on the expression of cyclin B1 and cdc2-p34 in the human drug-resistant breast cancer MCF-7/ADR cell line. METHODS The MTT assay was used to assess the cytotoxicity of EBB.Different levels of EBB were added to different cell lines at series of time points solely or combined with doxorubicin(DOX) to detect the effect on the expression of cyclinB1 and cdc2-p34 by Western blots.cdc2-p34 tyrosine phosphorylation was detected by immunoprecipitation.In addition,apoptosis and cytoplastic Ca 2+ concentrations were systematically examined by laser scanning confocal microscopy(LSCM). RESULTS EBB showed little inhibitory activity on human umbilical vein endothelial cells(ECV304),whereas EBB inhibited cell growth(IC50 range,4.55~15.74μmol/L)in a variety of sensitive and drug-resistance cell lines.EBB also down-regulated the expression of cyclin B1 and cdc2-p34 in a concentration and time dependent manner,which was an important reason for the G2/M phase arrest.EBB was shown to induce apoptosis of MCF-7/ADR cells while increasing the level of cytoplastic Ca 2+ . 10Cluster Analysis of Polyphenols and Organic Acids in 11 Different Brand Cigarette Samples at Home and Abroad显示文摘The objective of this research was to investigate the differences between local cigarette and foreign cigarette and supplied a base for improving the quality of cigarette. Different kinds of polyphenols and organic acids in 11 different brand cigarette samples at home and abroad were classified by the method of cluster analysis. The results indicated that the 11 samples could be classified into 2 classes. Suyan, Furongwang, Chinese, Baisha, Dihao, Yunyan, Hongtashan belonged to type 1; foreign cigarettes that represented by Marboro, Blue pacific and Brazil cigarette belonged to type 2. The content of malic acid and citric acid in type 1was higher than type 2, the content of malonic acid was higher in type 2, and there is no difference between the type 1 and type 2 about the content of polyphenols. In conclusion, the content of malic acid and citric in Chinese cigarettes was higher than foreign, but the content of malonic acid was lower than foreign. 11评估帕博利珠单抗在中国晚期黑色素瘤患者中的应用:基于KEYNOTE-151研究的3年随访数据显示文摘中国肢端和黏膜黑色素瘤的发病率较高,但治疗选择有限,晚期黑色素瘤患者的生存率普遍较低。对Ib期KEYNOTE-151研究的初步分析显示,帕博利珠单抗在作为二线药物治疗中国晚期黑色素瘤患者中,表现出了良好的耐受性和优异的临床抗肿瘤活性。本研究分析了3年随访的研究数据,纳入一线治疗后进展的不可切除的III/IV期中国黑色素瘤患者,给予帕博利珠单抗2 mg/kg治疗,每3周1次,最长使用35剂。主要终点为安全性和客观缓解率(objective response rate,ORR);次要终点包括疗效维持时间(duration of response,DOR)、无进展生存期(progression-free survival,PFS)和总生存期(overall survival,OS)。根据RECIST v1.1标准,采用独立中心盲法评估患者疗效。此外,根据黑色素瘤亚型,以及BRAF突变状态和PD-L1表达状态(仅肢端黑色素瘤)进行亚组分析。本研究共纳入103例患者,中位随访时间[从首次用药到数据截止时间(2020年7月13日)]为44.6个月[四分位距(interquartile range,IQR):39.1–46.2]。85.4%的患者发生了任一级别的治疗相关不良事件(treatment-related adverse events,TRAEs),12.6%的患者发生了3/4级的TRAEs,无5级TRAE发生。3例患者因TRAEs(免疫相关肝炎、肺炎和关节炎)停药。免疫相关AEs和输液反应发生比例为34.0%(3/4级,2.9%)。ORR为17.6%(95%CI:10.8–26.4;1例完全缓解/17例部分缓解),中位DOR为13.8个月(范围:2.7–37.4+)。中位PFS为2.8个月(95%CI:2.7–3.5),36个月的PFS率为5.0%。中位OS为13.2个月(95%CI:10.4–16.5),36个月的OS率为22.3%。肢端黑色素瘤中位OS为14.8个月,非肢端皮肤黑色素瘤为13.5个月,黏膜黑色素瘤为7.4个月。在肢端黑色素瘤亚组中,程序性死亡配体-1(programmed death ligand-1,PD-L1)阳性的中位OS为22.8个月,PD-L1阴性的中位OS为8.4个月,BRAF野生型的中位OS为18.5个月,BRAF突变型的中位OS为5.8个月。综上,本研究对3年随访数据分析结果表明,帕博利珠单抗作为二线治疗在中国晚期黑色素瘤患者中的安全性可控,且达到了具有临床意义的抗肿瘤活性,使部分患者获得持久缓解。亚组分析表明PD-L1阳性和BRAF野生型的肢端黑色素瘤患者从该治疗中获益较大,但由于亚组样本量较小,该研究结论仍需进一步验证。Lu Si Xiaoshi Zhang Yongqian Shu Hongming Pan Di Wu Jiwei Liu Lili Mao Xuan Wang Xizhi Wen Yanhong Gu Lingjun Zhu Shijie Lan Xin Cai Scott J.Diede Haiyan Dai Cuizhen Niu Jianfeng Li Jun Guo 李雯钰(翻译校对) 斯璐(点评) 2023癌症2023,42,8:0
12Surgical treatment of pulsatile tinnitus related to the sigmoid sinus显示文摘Objective: Tinnitus-a common clinical symptom-can be categorized into pulsatile tinnitus(PT) and non-PT. Among these, PT is usually associated with sigmoid sinus symptoms, such as sigmoid sinus wall defect or diverticulum, for which various surgical treatments are available. We have discussed the clinical efficacy of surgery for sigmoid sinus-associated PT via the transmastoid approach in this study.Methods: We conducted a retrospective review of 4 patients who underwent surgery for sigmoid sinusassociated PT via the transmastoid approach at Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital from January to December2020. Of these, 2 patients had sigmoid sinus wall defect and 2 had sigmoid sinus diverticulum. Postoperative tinnitus grading and surgical efficacy were determined.Results: After surgery, PT dissolved in 3 patients, while tinnitus significantly decreased in 1 patient.During the follow-up period of 12-18 months, none of the 4 patients showed complications related to increased intracranial pressure or venous sinus thrombosis, and tinnitus symptoms disappeared in 3patients without recurrence, although 1 patient occasionally developed tinnitus. Postoperative thin-slice CTA of the temporal bone indicated that the sigmoid sinus bone wall defect or diverticulum was completely repaired with a thick soft tissue coverage.Conclusion: Surgical repair of sigmoid sinus-associated PT via the transmastoid approach deserves clinical promotion as it exhibited better efficiency while being relatively less invasive.Yuxuan Xing Song Gao Yuchen Zhou Shenghua Song Ling Lu Jie Chen Yanhong Dai 2023Journal of Otology2023,18,1:0
