2Efficient sequential harvesting of solar light by heterogeneous hollow shells with hierarchical pores显示文摘In nature,sequential harvesting of light widely exists in the old life entity,i.e.cyanobacteria,to maximize the light absorption and enhance the photosynthesis efficiency.Inspired by nature,we propose a brand new concept of temporally-spatially sequential harvesting of light in one single particle,which has purpose-designed heterogeneous hollow multi-shelled structures(HoMSs)with porous shells composed of nanoparticle subunits.Structurally,HoMSs consist of different band-gap materials outside-in,thus realizing the efficient harvesting of light with different wavelengths.Moreover,introducing oxygen vacancies into each nanoparticle subunit can also enhance the light absorption.With the benefit of sequential harvesting of light in HoMSs,the quantum efficiency at wavelength of 400 nm is enhanced by six times compared with the corresponding nanoparticles.Impressively,using these aforementioned materials as photocatalysts;highly efficient photocatalytic water splitting is realized,which cannot be achieved by using the nanoparticle counterparts.This new concept of temporally-spatially sequential harvesting of solar light paves the way for solving the ever-growing energy demand.Yanze Wei Jiawei Wan Nailiang Yang Yu Yang Yanwen Ma Songcan Wang Jiangyan Wang Ranbo Yu Lin Gu Lianhui Wang Lianzhou Wang Wei Huang Dan Wang 2020National Science Review2020,7,11:2
3The nutritional composition and digestion of plants foraged by red deer(Cervus elaphus xanthopygus) in northeast China显示文摘We studied species of plants foraged by red deer in the Muling forest region of northeastern China during January 2014 and 2015. We focused on nutritional composition, energy content, and the digestibility of these plants. Crude protein content varied by plant species.Average crude protein content was 7.5 ± 1.7% of dry matter, ranging from 4.5 to 10.3%. Crude lipid content did not vary by species and averaged 7 ± 1.5%(range5.4–9.8%). Non-fiber carbohydrate(NFC) and neutral detergent fiber(NDF) content varied broadly with average values being 20.1 ± 4.8%(range 13.5–28.8%) and64.7 ± 5.9%(range 53.5–71.8%), respectively. Energy content ranged from 16.7 to 19.7 k J/g. Average dry matter digestibility(DMD) was 46.1 ± 4.8%, with a range from38.7 to 54.6%. Only three plants, Saussurea manshurica,Aralia elata and Equisetum hyemale exhibited DMD [ 50%. NFC content explained most of the variation in energy content(r = 0.451). In contrast, energy content was inversely related to NDF(r =-0.443). There was no correlation between crude protein, crude lipid, and energy content(r_(protein)= 0.004, r_(lipid)=-0.190). S. manshurica,A. elata and E. hyemale had higher NFC and lower NDF content. Thus, these species offered the greatest nutritional value for wintering red deer in the study area. 4Optimal dispatch approach for rural multi-energy supply systems considering virtual energy storage显示文摘In response to the underutilization of energy and insufficient flexible operation capability of rural energy supply systems in China,this study proposes an optimal dispatch approach for a rural multi-energy supply system(RMESS)considering virtual energy storage(VES).First,to enable the flexible utilization of rural biomass resources and the thermal inertia of residential building envelopes,this study constructed VES-I and VES-II models that describe electrical-thermal and electrical-gas coupling from an electrical viewpoint.Subsequently,an RMESS model encompassing these two types of VES was formulated.This model delineates the intricate interplay of multi-energy components within the RMESS framework and facilitates the precise assessment of the adjustable potential for optimizing RMESS operations.Based on the above models,a day-ahead optimal dispatch model for an RMESS considering a VES is proposed to achieve optimal economic performance while ensuring efficient energy allocation.Comparative simulations validated the effectiveness of the VES modeling and the day-ahead optimal dispatch approach for the RMESS.Yanze Xu Yunfei Mu Haijie Qi Hairun Li Peng Yu Shumin Sun 2023Global Energy Interconnection2023,6,6:0
5Accuracy evaluation for in-situ machining reference points binocular measurement based on credibility probability显示文摘Passive binocular measurement systems are being increasingly utilized in the in-situ industries of automobiles,aviation,and aerospace,etc.due to their excellent qualities of accuracy,efficiency,and cost performance.Whereas the barrier of evaluating the accuracy of measured objects resulted from the unequal equivalent focal length and quantization of pixels,has limited their further development and application of high requirements for in-situ machining,e.g.,the measurement of machining reference points for the positioning of robotic drilling in aerospace manufacturing.In this paper,an accuracy evaluation method is proposed to address the problem.Firstly,the unequal equivalent focal length is considered to improve the accuracy of 3D reconstruction.Next,the credibility probability model is developed to calculate the probability of the observed error in the public view of the binocular measurement system and indicates the direction of improvement.Finally,the in-situ experiment is carried out to validate the method within the effective public view range of 300 mm×300 mm.The experiment results show that the RMSs of observed errors are superior to 0.035 mm,and the credibility probabilities are all higher than 0.91;the maximum 3D reconstruction accuracy improvement is 60.3%,with the error reduced from 0.078 mm to 0.031 mm.Binchao YU Wei LIU Yanze ZHANG Dazhi MA Zhenyuan JIA Yi YUE Jiabo ZHANG 2024Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2024,37,1:0

7Novel phthalimides regulating PD-1/PD-L1 interaction as potential immunotherapy agents显示文摘Programmed cell death 1(PD-1)/programmed cell death ligand 1(PD-L1)have emerged as one of the most promising immune checkpoint targets for cancer immunotherapy.Despite the inherent advantages of small-molecule inhibitors over antibodies,the discovery of small-molecule inhibitors has fallen behind that of antibody drugs.Based on docking studies between small molecule inhibitor and PD-L1 protein,changing the chemical linker of inhibitor from a flexible chain to an aromatic ring may improve its binding capacity to PD-L1 protein,which was not reported before.A series of novel phthalimide derivatives from structure-based rational design was synthesized.P39 was identified as the best inhibitor with promising activity,which not only inhibited PD-1/PD-L1 interaction(IC_(50)=8.9 nmol/L),but also enhanced killing efficacy of immune cells on cancer cells.Co-crystal data demonstrated that P39 induced the dimerization of PD-L1 proteins,thereby blocking the binding of PD-1/PD-L1.Moreover,P39 exhibited a favorable safety profile with a LD_(50)>5000 mg/kg and showed significant in vivo antitumor activity through promoting CD8^(+)T cell activation.All these data suggest that P39 acts as a promising small chemical inhibitor against the PD-1/PD-L1 axis and has the potential to improve the immunotherapy efficacy of T-cells.Chengliang Sun Yao Cheng Xiaojia Liu Gefei Wang Wenjian Min Xiao Wang Kai Yuan Yi Hou Jiaxing Li Haolin Zhang Haojie Dong Liping Wang Chenguang Lou Yanze Sun Xinmiao Yu Hongbin Deng Yibei Xiao Peng Yang 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,12:0
8Nitrogen Removal Performance of Denitrifying Ammonium Oxidation System in Treating Sulfamethoxazole-laden Secondary Wastewater Effluent显示文摘In this study,nitrogen removal performance of the denitrifying ammonium oxidation(DAO)process was investigated when treating sulfamethoxazole(SMX)-laden secondary wastewater effluent.The influent SMX concentration showed negligible effect on efficiencies for removal of nitrate and COD.However,the ammonium ions removal rate was moderately reduced,when the influent SMX concentration in wastewater reached 6 mg/L.Total nitrogen removal efficiency remained as high as 76.77%towards the day 158 at the end of experiment.Candidatus_Brocadia and Candidatus_Kuenenia were the functional anammox strains.The unclassified_f__Rhodobacteraceae sp.was predominant heterotrophic denitrifying strain in the studied reactor.The concentrations of soluble extracellular polymeric substances in sludge obviously increased from 16.76 mg/g VSS to 32.31 mg/g VSS,which might protect the nitrogen removal strains from high-concentration SMX.This result provides a theoretical and technical foundation for the application of denitrifying ammonium oxidation process in treating sulfamethoxazole-laden secondary wastewater effluent.Liu Chunshuang Li Wei Duan Weichao Huiyun Zhong Yu Haitong Li Yanze Liu Fang Zhao Chaocheng 2021China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,1:0
9Accelerating hybrid and compact neural networks targeting perception and control domains with coarse-grained dataflow reconfiguration显示文摘Driven by continuous scaling of nanoscale semiconductor technologies,the past years have witnessed the progressive advancement of machine learning techniques and applications.Recently,dedicated machine learning accelerators,especially for neural networks,have attracted the research interests of computer architects and VLSI designers.State-of-the-art accelerators increase performance by deploying a huge amount of processing elements,however still face the issue of degraded resource utilization across hybrid and non-standard algorithmic kernels.In this work,we exploit the properties of important neural network kernels for both perception and control to propose a reconfigurable dataflow processor,which adjusts the patterns of data flowing,functionalities of processing elements and on-chip storages according to network kernels.In contrast to stateof-the-art fine-grained data flowing techniques,the proposed coarse-grained dataflow reconfiguration approach enables extensive sharing of computing and storage resources.Three hybrid networks for MobileNet,deep reinforcement learning and sequence classification are constructed and analyzed with customized instruction sets and toolchain.A test chip has been designed and fabricated under UMC 65 nm CMOS technology,with the measured power consumption of 7.51 mW under 100 MHz frequency on a die size of 1.8×1.8 mm^2.Zheng Wang Libing Zhou Wenting Xie Weiguang Chen Jinyuan Su Wenxuan Chen Anhua Du Shanliao Li Minglan Liang Yuejin Lin Wei Zhao Yanze Wu Tianfu Sun Wenqi Fang Zhibin Yu 2020Journal of Semiconductors2020,41,2:0
10Ti-MOF Derived N-Doped TiO2 Nanostructure as Visible-light-driven Photocatalyst显示文摘Nanostructured N-doped TiO2 photocatalyst has been prepared via a new approach from Ti-based MOF[NH2-MIL-125(Ti)]precursor.The success of N doping enhances light absorption and narrows the bandgap.Moreover,the as-prepared nanostructure is constructed with tiny nanoparticles and resembles a pie-like morphology inherited from the MOF,which accelerates electron transfer.Hence,as a photocatalyst for the degradation of methylene blue(MB)under visible light irradiation,the N-doped TiO2(N-TiO2)nanostructure shows higher photocatalytic activity with a reaction rate constant of 0.018min^-1 than that of the TiO2-P25 and TiO2 under the visible light.HE Yilei ZHANG Xing WEI Yanze CHEN Xiaoyu WANG Zumin YU Ranbo 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,3:0
