LICOM Model Datasets for the CMIP6 Ocean Model Intercomparison Project显示文摘The datasets of two Ocean Model Intercomparison Project(OMIP)simulation experiments from the LASG/IAP Climate Ocean Model, version 3(LICOM3),forced by two different sets of atmospheric surface data, are described in this paper. The experiment forced by CORE-II(Co-ordinated Ocean–Ice Reference Experiments,Phase II)data(1948–2009)is called OMIP1,and that forced by JRA55-do(surface dataset for driving ocean–sea-ice models based on Japanese 55-year atmospheric reanalysis)data(1958–2018)is called OMIP2.First,the improvement of LICOM from CMIP5 to CMIP6 and the configurations of the two experiments are described.Second, the basic performances of the two experiments are validated using the climatological-mean and interannual time scales from observation. We find that the mean states, interannual variabilities, and long-term linear trends can be reproduced well by the two experiments. The differences between the two datasets are also discussed. Finally, the usage of these data is described. These datasets are helpful toward understanding the origin system bias of the fully coupled model. | Pengfei LIN Zhipeng YU Hailong LIU Yongqiang YU Yiwen LI Jirong JIANG Wei XUE Kangjun CHEN Qian YANG Bowen ZHAO Jilin WEI Mengrong DING Zhikuo SUN Yaqi WANG Yao MENG Weipeng ZHENG Jinfeng MA | 2020 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020,37,3: | 9
Pathological changes in the lungs and lymphatic organs of 12 COVID-19 autopsy cases显示文摘Systematic autopsy and comprehensive pathological analyses of COVID-19 decedents should provide insights into the disease characteristics and facilitate the development of novel therapeutics. In this study,we report the autopsy findings from the lungs and lymphatic organs of 12 COVID-19 decedents—findings that evaluated histopathological changes;immune cell signature and inflammatory factor expression in the lungs, spleen and lymph nodes. Here we show that the major pulmonary alterations included diffuse alveolar damage, interstitial fibrosis and exudative inflammation featured with extensive serous and fibrin exudates, macrophage infiltration and abundant production of inflammatory factors(IL-6,IP-10,TNFo?and IL-I f).The spleen and hilar lymph nodes contained lesions with tissue structure disruption and immune cell dysregulation, including lymphopenia and macrophage accumulation. These findings provide pathological evidence that links injuries of the lungs and lymphatic organs with the fatal systematic respiratory and immune malfunction in critically ill COVID-19 patients. | Qian Liu Yu Shi Jun Cai Yaqi Duan Rongshuai Wang Hongyan Zhang Qiurong Ruan Jiansha Li Lei Zhao Yifang Ping Rong Chen Liang Ren Xiaochun Fei Heng Zhang Rui Tang Xi Wang Tao Luo Xindong Liu Xuequan Huang Zhenhua Liu Qilin Ao Yong Ren Jing Xiong Zhicheng He Haibo Wu Wenjuan Fu Pengnan Zhao Xinwei Chen Guoqiang Qu Yunyun Wang Xi Wang Jia Liu Dongfang Xiang Sanpeng Xu Xiaowei Zhou Qingrui Li Jinghong Ma Heng Li Jie Zhang Sizhe Huang Xiaohong Yao Yiwu Zhou Chaofu Wang Dingyu Zhang Guoping Wang Liang Liu Xiu-Wu Bian | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,12: | 6
Application of Principal Component Analysis(PCA)to the Evaluation and Screening of Multiactivity Fungi显示文摘Continued innovation in screening methodologies remains important for the discovery of high-quality multiactive fungi, which have been of great significance to the development of new drugs.Mangrove-derived fungi, which are well recognized as prolific sources of natural products, are worth sustained attention and further study. In this study,118 fungi, which mainly included Aspergillus spp.(34.62%)and Penicillium spp.(15.38%),were isolated from the mangrove ecosystem of the Maowei Sea,and 83.1%of the cultured fungi showed at least one bioactivity in four antibacterial and three antioxidant assays. To accurately evaluate the fungal bioactivities, the fungi with multiple bioactivities were successfully evaluated and screened by principal component analysis(PCA),and this analysis provided a dataset for comparing and selecting multibioactive fungi.Among the 118 mangrove-derived fungi tested in this study,Aspergillus spp.showed the best comprehensive activity.Fungi such as A.clavatonanicus,A.flavipes and A.citrinoterreus, which exhibited high comprehensive bioactivity as determined by the PCA,have great potential in the exploitation of natural products and the development of new drugs. This study demonstrated the first use of PCA as a time-saving,scientific method with a strong ability to evaluate and screen multiactive fungi, which indicated that this method can affect the discovery and development of new drugs. | YANG Zonglin SHI Yaqi LI Pinglin PAN Kanghong LI Guoqiang LI Xianguo YAO Shuo ZHANG Dahai | 2022 | Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,3: | 4
Eddy-resolving Simulation of CAS-LICOM3 for Phase 2 of the Ocean Model Intercomparison Project显示文摘A 61-year(1958–2018)global eddy-resolving dataset for phase 2 of the Ocean Model Intercomparison Project has been produced by the version 3 of Chinese Academy of Science, the State Key Laboratory of Numerical Modeling for Atmospheric Sciences and Geophysical Fluid Dynamics/Institute of Atmospheric Physics(LASG/IAP)Climate system Ocean Model(CAS-LICOM3).The monthly and a part of the surface daily data in this study can be accessed on the Earth System Grid Federation(ESGF)node.Besides the details of the model and experiments, the evolutions and spatial patterns of large-scale and mesoscale features are also presented. The mesoscale features are reproduced well in the high-resolution simulation,as the mesoscale activities can contribute up to 50%of the total SST variability in eddy-rich regions. Also, the large-scale circulations are remarkably improved compared with the low-resolution simulation, such as the climatological annual mean SST(the RMSE is reduced from 0.59°C to 0.47°C,globally)and the evolution of Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation. The preliminary evaluation also indicates that there are systematic biases in the salinity, the separation location of the western boundary currents, and the magnitude of eddy kinetic energy. All these biases are worthy of further investigation. | Yiwen LI Hailong LIU Mengrong DING Pengfei LIN Zipeng YU Yongqiang YU Yao MENG Yunlong LI Xiaodong JIAN Jinrong JIANG Kangjun CHEN Qian YANG Yaqi WANG Bowen ZHAO Jilin WEI Jinfeng MA Weipeng ZHENG and Pengfei WANG | 2020 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020,37,10: | 1
FGOALS-g3 Model Datasets for CMIP6 Flux-Anomaly-Forced Model Intercomparison Project显示文摘The Flux-Anomaly-Forced Model Intercomparison Project(FAFMIP)is an endorsed Model Intercomparison Project in phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP6).The goal of FAFMIP is to investigate the spread in the atmosphere–ocean general circulation model projections of ocean climate change forced by increased CO2,including the uncertainties in the simulations of ocean heat uptake, global mean sea level rise due to ocean thermal expansion and dynamic sea level change due to ocean circulation and density changes. The FAFMIP experiments have already been conducted with the Flexible Global Ocean–Atmosphere–Land System Model, gridpoint version 3.0(FGOALS-g3).The model datasets have been submitted to the Earth System Grid Federation(ESGF)node. Here, the details of the experiments, the output variables and some baseline results are presented.Compared with the preliminary results of other models, the evolutions of global mean variables can be reproduced well by FGOALS-g3.The simulations of spatial patterns are also consistent with those of other models in most regions except the North Atlantic and the Southern Ocean, indicating large uncertainties in the regional sea level projections of these two regions. | Yaqi WANG Zipeng YU Pengfei LIN Hailong LIU Jiangbo JIN Lijuan LI Yanli TANG Li DONG Kangjun CHEN Yiwen LI Qian YANG Mengrong DING Yao MENG Bowen ZHAO Jilin WEI Jinfeng MA and Zhikuo SUN | 2020 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020,37,10: | 1

Enhanced synergy between Cu^(0) and Cu^(+) on nickel doped copper catalyst for gaseous acetic acid hydrogenation显示文摘As the substitution of common noble catalysts in the hydrogenation of carboxylic acid,a highly effective Cu-Ni/SiO_(2) catalyst was prepared by a novel stepwise ammonia evaporation method. Its performance in the gasphase hydrogenation of acetic acid was further examined. With the introduction of Ni dopant, more stable Cu^(δ+) sites, which can adsorb more acetic acid, were formed due to the electron transfer from Cu to Ni.This makes more Cu^(0) sites available for hydrogen adsorption, which was suggested as the rate-determining step in acetic acid hydrogenation.A conversion of 99.6% was successfully achieved on this new Cu/SiO_(2)-0.5Ni catalyst, accompanied by the ethanol selectivity of 90%.The incorporation of nickel between copper nanoparticles enhances the synergistic effect between Cu^(0) and Cu^(+).It also helps mitigate the aggregation of copper nanoparticles due to the Ostwald ripening effect induced by acetic acid and enhance the stability of copper catalyst in the conversion of carboxylic acid. | Jingwei Zhang Lingxin Kong Yao Chen Huijiang Huang Huanhuan Zhang Yaqi Yao Yuxi Xu Yan Xu Shengping Wang Xinbin Ma Yujun Zhao | 2021 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,3: | 0

Internal Reference Gene Selection for Quantitative Real-Time RT-PCR Normalization in Potato Tissues显示文摘Quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)is widely used for investigating gene expression patterns and has many advantages, including its high sensitivity, fidelity, and specificity.Selecting a satisfactory internal reference gene is crucial for obtaining precise gene expression results in qRT-PCR analyses. In this study, the transcriptomic data of 2 potato varieties were screened for housekeeping genes with stable expression patterns.A total of 77 putative genes were selected, which were highly and stably expressed.Then,qRT-PCR analyses were performed to examine the expression levels of these 77 candidate reference genes in various potato tissues, including leaves, flowers, stolons, and tubers.Gene expression was represented by analyzing the Ct values at given threshold.Through geNorm and NormFinder program analyses,10 candidate genes with the most stable expression patterns were obtained, including RPL19,RPS15,RPS9,EF1α,TrxP1,RPS8,NTF,CAM,AACM,and RPS28.Moreover,through the comprehensive analyses of 4 statistical algorithms(i.e.,geNorm,NormFinder,BestKeeper,and RefFinder),results indicated that the most appropriate internal reference genes were RPL19 and EF1α.The obtained stable reference genes will contribute to future qRT-PCR analyses on potato tissue-related gene expression. | Gang Li Yao Zhou Yaqi Zhao Yaxue Liu Yuwei Ke Xiaoqing Jin Haoli Ma | 2020 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2020,89,2: | 0
Sensitivity of solar greenhouse envelopes to the thermal disfigurements and optimal selection of the thermal insulation quilt显示文摘The objectives of the present work are focused on exploration of the reasons for temperature difference in different envelopes, the sensitivity of envelopes of solar greenhouse to thermal disfigurements and optimal selection of the thermal insulation quilt.Theoretical analysis and derivation are conducted according to the experimental results of surface temperature, convective heat transfer, and heat flux density in different envelopes which with thermal disfigurements of solar greenhouse using heat transfer theory. The results revealed that the difference of intrinsic thermal conductivity and thickness of the envelopes leads to difference in the thermal flux and thus in the surface temperature of different envelopes.Compared with the front roof and back roof, the wall is more sensitive to thermal disfigurements.According to the influence of thermal disfigurements on solar greenhouse temperature, the allowable thermal disfigurements area fraction of front roof and back roof are given.Based on the analysis of heat transfer theory and test results, the work given the expression of the thickness and thermal conductivity of thermal insulation quilt under different outdoor minimum temperatures for optimal selection of thermal insulation quilt based on comprehensive considering factors of the solar greenhouse structure, crop demand, outdoor minimum temperature, and insulation quilt properties. The results of this work give technical criterion for whether the envelopes with thermal disfigurements needs to be repaired or replaced, and it also provides theoretical and technical support for design the solar greenhouse as well as methodological guidance for the optimal selection of the thermal insulation quilt. | Yachen Sun Yao Zhang Chenmeng Zhu Shaonan Xu Bowen Liu Yanfei Cao Changji Zhou Yaqi Zhou Zhirong Zou Encai Bao | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,5: | 0
