1Synthesis of rod-like metal-organic framework(MOF-5)nanomaterial for efficient removal of U(Ⅵ):batch experiments and spectroscopy study显示文摘With the widespread application of radionuclide235 U(Ⅵ), it is inevitable that part of U(Ⅵ) is released into the natural environment. The potential toxicity and irreversibility impact on the natural environment has become one of the most forefront pollution problems in nuclear energy utilization. In this work, rod-like metal-organic framework(MOF-5) nanomaterial was synthesized by a solvothermal method and applied to efficiently adsorb U(Ⅵ) from aqueous solutions. The batch experimental results showed that the sorption of U(Ⅵ) on MOF-5 was strongly dependent on p H and independent of ionic strength, indicating that the dominant interaction mechanism was inner-sphere surface complexation and electrostatic interaction. The maximum sorption capacity of U(Ⅵ) on MOF-5 was 237.0 mg/g at p H 5.0 and T = 298 K, and the sorption equilibrium reached within 5 min. The thermodynamic parameters indicated that the removal of U(Ⅵ) on MOF-5 was a spontaneous and endothermic process. Additionally, the FT-IR and XPS analyses implied that the high sorption capacity of U(Ⅵ) on MOF-5 was mainly attributed to the abundant oxygen-containing functional groups(i.e., CAO and C@O). 2Geochronology and Geochemistry of Middle–Late Ordovician Granites and Gabbros in the Erguna Region,NE China:Implications for the Tectonic Evolution of the Erguna Massif显示文摘Zircon U-Pb ages, Hf isotope data and whole-rock major and trace element data for the Middle to Late Ordovician gabbros and granites in the Erguna Massif, NE China were presented in this paper. The petrogenesis of these rocks and the Early Paleozoic tectonic evolution of the massif were discussed. Zircons from the granites and gabbros are of magmatic origin based on their cathodoluminescence(CL) images. The 206Pb/238 U ages obtained from 20 spots on zircons from the granites range from 446±9 to 464±10 Ma, yielding a weighted mean age of 455±10 Ma; and 16 spots on zircons from the gabbros range from 465±10 to 466±7 Ma, yielding a weighted mean age of 465±2 Ma. Chemically, the Late Ordovician granites in the Erguna Massif are weakly peraluminous and similar to A-type granites. The granites and gabbros are all enriched in light rare earth elements and large ion lithophile elements(e.g., Rb, K), and depleted in heavy rare earth elements and high field strength elements(e.g., Nb, Ta, and Ti); they all exhibit marked negative Eu anomalies. Their zircon εHf(t) values range mainly from +1.86 to +6.21(for the granites) and +1.39 to +3.89(for the gabbros), except for one spot with a value of-0.27(for a gabbro). The TDM1 ages for the gabbros and TDM2 ages for the granites vary from 928 to 1 091 Ma and from 1 287 to 1 675 Ma, respectively. It is concluded that the primary magma of the granites could have been derived by partial melting of Mesoproterozoic newly accreted crustal material, whereas the primary magma of the gabbros originated by partial melting of a depleted mantle wedge that had been metasomatized by fluids derived from a subducted slab. 3Dual origins of Xiaoqinling gold-bearing quartz veins:Fluid inclusion evidence显示文摘Fluid inclusion research in Archean metamorphic rocks, Yanshanian granite and gold-bearing quartz veins shows that regional metamorphic fluids are high temperature and high saline, Yanshanian post-granitic fluids are CO2-bearing low saline, and ore-forming fluids are also CO2-rich low saline. In gold-barren/free parts of quartz veins in gold deposits, daughter mineral-bearing high saline inclusions related with metamorphic fluids remained. 4Zircon U-Pb dating of basement gneisses in the super-large Bayan Obo REE-Fe-Nb deposit, Inner Mongolia显示文摘Zircon U-Pb ages have been determined for basement gneisses in the Bayan Obo REE-Fe-Nb deposit. On the U-Pb concordia diagram data of three samples yield up-per intercept ages of 1948-1917 Ma. Thus, these basement gneisses are of Paleoproterozoic. Rock association of these basement gneisses includes tonalite, syenite and paragneiss, not belonging to a sedimentary package. 5Application of Smith Predictor Based on Single Neural Network in Cold Rolling Shape Control显示文摘Flatness is one of the most important criterion factors to evaluate the quality of the steel strip. To improve the strip’s flatness quality, the most frequently used methodology is to employ the closed-loop automatic shape control system. However, in the shape control system, the shape-meter is always installed at the down way of the exit of the cold rolling mill and can not sense the changes of the strip flatness in the rolling gap directly. This kind of installation results in the delay of the feedback in the control system. Therefore, the stability and response performance of the system are strongly affected by the delay. At present, there is still no mature way to design controllers for systems with time delay. Although the conventional PID controller used in most practical applications has the capability to compensate the delay, the effect of the compensation is limited, especially for the systems with long time delay. Smith predictor, as a compensator for solving this problem, is now widely used in industry systems. However, the request of highly precise model of the system and the poor adaptive performance to the changes of related parameters limit the application of the Smith predictor in practice. In order to overcome the drawbacks of the Smith predictor, a new Smith predictor based on single neural network PID (SNN-PID) is proposed. Because the single neural network is employed into the Smith predictor to improve the controller’s self-adaptability, the adaptive capability to the varying parameters of the system is improved. Meanwhile, for the purpose of solving the problems such as time-consuming and complicated calculation of the neural networks in real time, the learning coefficient of neural network is divided into several stages as usually done in expert control system. Therefore, the control system can obtain fast response due to the improved calculation speed of the neural networks. In order to validate the performance of the proposed controller, the experiment is conducted on the shape control system in a 300 mm four-high reversing cold rolling mill. 7In-situ reduction synthesis of manganese dioxide@polypyrrole core/shell nanomaterial for highly efficient enrichment of U(Ⅵ) and Eu(Ⅲ)显示文摘Radionuclides with long half-life are toxic,and thereby result in serious threat to human beings and ecological balance.Herein,a simple two-step synthesis method was used to prepare manganese dioxide@polypyrrole(Mn O_2@PPy)core/shell structures for efficient removal of U(Ⅵ)and Eu(Ⅲ)from aqueous solutions.The adsorption of U(Ⅵ)and Eu(Ⅲ)were investigated under different kinds of experimental conditions.The experimental results suggested that the adsorption of U(Ⅵ)and Eu(Ⅲ)on Mn O_2@PPy were greatly affected by p H.U(Ⅵ)adsorption on Mn O_2@PPy was independent of ionic strength at p H<6.0,and dependent on ionic strength at p H>6.0.However,Eu(Ⅲ)adsorption on Mn O_2@PPy was independent of ionic strength at the whole p H range of experimental conditions.The maximum adsorption capacities(q_(max))of U(Ⅵ)and Eu(Ⅲ)were 63.04 and54.74 mg g^(-1)at T=298 K,respectively.The BET,XRD,FTIR and XPS analysis evidenced that high adsorption capacities of U(Ⅵ)and Eu(Ⅲ)on Mn O_2@PPy were mainly due to high surface area and rich metal oxygen-containing group(i.e.,Mn–OH and Mn–O),and the interaction was mainly attributed to strong surface complexation and electrostatic interaction.This study highlighted the excellent adsorption performance of U(Ⅵ)and Eu(Ⅲ)on Mn O_2@PPy and could provide the reference for the elimination of radionuclides in real wastewater management.Wen Yao Yihan Wu Hongwei Pang Xiangxue Wang Shujun Yu Xiangke Wang 2018Science China Chemistry2018,61,7:7

10Numerical Simulation and Optimization of Staged Combustion and NO_x Release Characteristics in Precalciner显示文摘In order to study the combustion characteristics in a precalciner, the temperature and composition field in a typical Trinal-sprayed calciner were numerically analysed. The results obtained by simulation were compared to actual measurements and the simulated results were in good agreement with the measured ones. The results indicated that the aerodynamic flow field in the precalciner is satisfactory, and a symmetrical reflux occurs in the shrinkage zone of the precalciner because of air staging, which can increase the residence time of the solid particles. The temperature distribution in the furnace is uniform, and the average temperature is greater than 1200 K, which can satisfy the conditions for the pulverised coal combustion and raw material decomposition. The mass fraction distribution of oxygen, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide in the precalciner is closely related to the temperature distribution. The concentration of nitrogen oxides(NO_x) exhibits a trend of increasing, decreasing and then increasing, and finally tending to a stable level. Within a certain velocity range, the average temperature in the precalciner and the decomposition efficiency of the raw material increase as the flue gas velocity increases. 12Nonvolatile reconfigurable dynamic Janus metasurfaces in the terahertz regime显示文摘Metasurfaces,especially tunable ones,have played a major role in controlling the amplitude,phase,and polarization of electromagnetic waves and attracted growing interest,with a view toward a new generation of miniaturized devices.However,to date,most existing reconfigurable devices are bounded in volatile nature with sustained external energy to maintain and single functionality,which restrict their further applications.Here,we demonstrate for the first time,to our knowledge,nonvolatile,reconfigurable,and dynamic Janus metasurfaces by incorporating phase-change material Ge_(2)Se_(2)Te_(5)(GST)in the terahertz(THz)regime.First,we experimentally show the reversible switching characteristic of GST on large areas by applying a single nanosecond laser pulse,which exhibits excellent contrast of THz properties in both states.Then,we present a multiplex metasurface scheme.In each metasurface,three sets of structures are adopted,in which two sets integrate GST.The effective structures can be reversely modulated by the amorphization and crystallization of GST.As a proof of concept,the dynamic beam splitter,bifocal metalens,dual-mode focusing optical vortex generators,and switchable metalens/focusing optical vortex generators are designed,fabricated,and experimentally characterized,and can be switched reversibly and repeatedly with the help of optical and thermal stimuli.Our scheme will pave the way toward the development of multifunctional and compact THz devices and may find use for applications in THz imaging,sensing,and communications.SHOUJUN ZHANG XIEYU CHEN KUAN LIU HAIYANG LI YUEHONG XU XIAOHAN JIANG YIHAN XU QINGWEI WANG TUN CAO ZHEN TIAN 2022Photonics Research2022,10,7:2
13KDM2B promotes IL-6 production and inflammatory responses through Brg1-mediated chromatin remodeling显示文摘IL-6 plays important and pleiotropic roles in infection and inflammatory diseases,and its production needs to be tightly regulated.However,the epigenetic mechanism underlying Il6 gene transcription remains to be fully elucidated.Here,we report that lysine-specific demethylase 2b(KDM2B),which demethylates H3K4me3 and H3K36me2,is required in macrophages and dendritic cells for the induction of IL-6 but not TNF-α,IL-1,and IFN-β.Compared to wild-type mice,KDM2B-deficient mice were more resistant to endotoxin shock and colitis,with a less severe inflammatory pathogenesis phenotype and decreased IL-6 production in sera.KDM2B selectively bound the Il6 promoter but did not alter histone demethylation;instead,KDM2B interacted with Brahma-related gene 1(Brg1),the core ATPase subunit of SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complexes,to facilitate chromatin accessibility of the Il6 promoter.Furthermore,KDM2B directly recruited RNA Polymerase II to further initiate and promote Il6 transcription.Thus,our finding identifies a novel nonclassical function of KDM2B in gene-specific transcription initiation and enhancement of Il6 independent of its demethylase activity and adds new insight into the specific epigenetic modification mechanism of inflammatory immune responses.Qingqing Zhou Yunkai Zhang Bo Wang Wenhui Zhou Yong Bi Wanwan Huai Xi Chen Yihan Chen Zhongmin Liu Xingguang Liu Zhenzhen Zhan 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,8:2

15Super-conductive silver nanoparticles functioned three-dimensional CuxO foams as a high-pseudocapacitive electrode for flexible asymmetric supercapacitors显示文摘Copper oxide has aroused great concern in energy storage fields due to its properties of high theoretical capacitance,low cost and mild toxicity.However,its wide application still remains challenges owing to its poor electrical conductivity and unstable cycling life.Binder-free foam electrodes possess abundant porous structures and high specific surface area,which could get good contact with electrolyte.Herein,we demonstrate Ag nanoparticles decorated CuxO nanowires grown spontaneously on copper foam(CF)electrode for asymmetric supercapacitor.The skeleton structure of CF provides large amounts of active sites for the growth of CuxO nanowires.Moreover,Ag nanoparticles further decrease the internal resistance and enhance the electrochemical performance.Ag/CuxO/CF-40 electrode presents a high area specific capacitance of 1192 mF cm^(-2)at 2 mA cm^(-2)and the influence of surface capacitance-dominated process and diffusion-controlled process are discussed in detail.Besides,the energy density of the as-prepared asymmetric supercapacitor(ASC)reaches 46.32 mWh cm^(-2)at a power density of 3.00 mW cm^(-2).A 2V LED is lighted successfully by two ASC in series.This work provides a new strategy to prepare low internal resistance and binder-free flexible Ag/CuxO/CF electrode,which demonstrates a good potential application in flexible supercapacitors or other wearable electronic devices.Hui Jiang Xuehua Yan Le Wang Xiaonong Cheng Jieyu Miao Mingyu You Yihan Zhu Jianmei Pan 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,1:2

19Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of NtbHLH gene family in tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum)and the role of NtbHLH86 in drought adaptation显示文摘The bHLH transcription factors play pivotal roles in plant growth and development,production of secondary metabolites and responses to various environmental stresses.Although the bHLH genes have been well studied in model plant species,a comprehensive investigation of the bHLH genes is required for tobacco with newly obtained high-quality genome.In the present study,a total of 309 NtbHLH genes were identified and can be divided into 23 subfamilies.The conserved amino acids which are essential for their function were predicted for the NtbHLH proteins.Moreover,the NtbHLH genes were conserved during evolution through analyzing the gene structures and conserved motifs.A total of 265 NtbHLH genes were localized in the 24 tobacco chromosomes while the remained 44 NtbHLH genes were mapped to the scaffolds due to the complexity of tobacco genome.Moreover,transcripts of NtbHLH genes were obviously tissue-specific expressed from the gene-chip data from 23 tobacco tissues,and expressions of 20 random selected NtbHLH genes were further confirmed by quantitative real-time PCR,indicating their potential functions in the plant growth and development.Importantly,overexpressed NtbHLH86 gene confers improve drought tolerance in tobacco indicating that it might be involved in the regulation of drought stress.Therefore,our findings here provide a valuable information on the characterization of NtbHLH genes and further investigation of their functions in tobacco.Ge Bai Da-Hai Yang Peijian Chao Heng Yao MingLiang Fei Yihan Zhang Xuejun Chen Bingguang Xiao Feng Li Zhen-Yu Wang Jun Yang He Xie 2021Plant Diversity2021,43,6:1
