2Progress in monitoring high-temperature damage to rice through satellite and ground-based optical remote sensing显示文摘The occurrence of rice high-temperature damage (HTD) has increased with global warming. Cultivation of rice is seriously affected by the HTD in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, which directly affects food security in this region and in the whole of China. It is important to monitor and assess crop HTD using satellite remote sensing information. This paper reviews the recent development of monitoring rice HTD using optical remote sensing information. It includes the use of optical remote sensing information to obtain the regional spatial distribution of high temperatures, mixed-surface temperature retrieval for rice fields based on mixed decomposition information, the development of field and thermal infrared testing and modeling, and the satellite/ground-based remote sensing coupled method for monitoring rice HTD. 3The diurnal and seasonal characteristics of urban heat island variation in Beijing city and surrounding areas and impact factors based on remote sensing satellite data显示文摘Based on the land surface temperature (LST), the land cover classification map,vegetation coverage, and surface evapotranspiration derived from EOS-MODIS satellite data, and by the use of GIS spatial analytic technique and multivariate statistical analysis method, the urban heat island (UHI) spatial distribution of the diurnal and seasonal variabilities and its driving forces are studied in Beijing city and surrounding areas in 2001. The relationships among UHI distribution and landcover categories, topographic factor, vegetation greenness, and surface evapotranspiration are analyzed. The results indicate that: (i) The significant UHI occur in Beijing city areas in the four seasons due to high heat capacity and multi-reflection of compression building, as well as with special topographic features of its three sides surrounded by mountains,especially in the summer. The UHI spatial distribution is corresponding with the urban geometry structure profile. The LST difference is approximately 4-6℃ between Beijing city and suburb areas, comparatively is 8- 10℃ between Beijing city area and outer suburb area in northwestern regions. (ii) The UHI distribution and intensity in daytime are different from nighttime in Beijing city area, the nighttime UHI is obvious. However, in the daytime, the significant UHI mainly appears in the summer, the autumn takes second place, and the UHI in the winter and the spring seem not obvious. The surface evapotranspiration in suburb areas is larger than that in urban areas in the summer, and high latent heat exchange is evident, which leads to LST difference between city area and suburb area. 5Numerical study on the influence of initial ambient temperature on the aerodynamic heating in the tube train system显示文摘The evacuated tube transportation has great potential in the future because of its advantages of energy saving and environmental protection.The train runs in the closed tube at ultra-high speed.The heat quantity generated by aerodynamic heating is not easy to spread to external environment and then accumulates in the tube,inducing the ambient temperature in the tube to rise gradually.In this paper,a three-dimensional geometric model and the Shear Stress Transport(SST)κ-ωturbulence model are used to study the influence of initial ambient temperature on the structure of the flow field in the tube.Simulation results show that when the train runs at transonic speed,the supersonic flow region with low temperature and low-pressure is produced in the wake.The structure of the flow field of the wake will change with the initial ambient temperature.And the higher the initial ambient temperature is,the shorter the low temperature region in the wake will be.The larger temperature difference caused by the low temperature region may increase the temperature stress of the tube and affect the equipment inside the tube.Consequently,the temperature inside the tube can be maintained at a reasonable value to reduce the influence of the low temperature region in the wake on the system.Shijie Bao Xiao Hu Jukun Wang Tianhao Ma Yingyu Rao Zigang Deng 2020Advances in Aerodynamics2020,2,1:9
6Genome-wide identification and analysis of the DREB genes and their expression profiles under abiotic stresses in Chinese jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.)显示文摘CBF/DREB proteins play a critical role in abiotic stress-mediated gene expression and represent attractive regulons for plant breeding programs.However,no study has been conducted for CBF/DREB protein-related genes in jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.).In this study,twenty-five ZjDREB genes were identified and annotated from the jujube(Z.jujuba‘Dongzao’)genome.Detailed analysis,including gene classification,annotation,phylogenetic evaluation,conserved motif determination and expression profiling were performed on all genes.Phylogenetic analysis showed that ZjDREB proteins were divided into five subgroups(A1–A5),but lacking a subgroup A6 corresponding to AtDREBs.The ZjDREB genes were distributed in nine of twelve chromosomes in the genome.Additionally,the expression patterns of the DREB genes under different abiotic stresses were investigated using q RT-PCR.Nineteen ZjDREB genes were down-regulated under low temperature,in contrast six ZjDREB genes(01,03,05,11,23 and 24)were up-regulated.Under drought,salinity and high temperature conditions,expression of ZjDREB03,09,10,14,15,17 and 20 genes were induced and showed similar expression patterns,suggesting that various stress conditions share common elements in the signaling pathway.The results suggest that the family of DREB genes play an important role in abiotic stresses in jujube,and provide a foundation for further functional studies of this important class of transcriptional regulators.Heying Zhou Jiping Jia Decang Kong Zhendong Zhang Shuang Song Yingyue Li Xiaoming Pang 2019Journal of Forestry Research2019,30,4:8
7Nonlinear optical absorption of few-layer molybdenum diselenide (MoSe2) for passively mode-locked soliton fiber laser [Invited]显示文摘In this paper,both nonlinear saturable absorption and two-photon absorption(TPA) of few-layer molybdenum diselenide(MoSe2) were observed at 1.56 μm wavelength and further applied to mode-locked ultrafast fiber laser for the first time to our knowledge.Few-layer MoSe2 nanosheets were prepared by liquid-phase exfoliation method and characterized by x ray diffractometer,Raman spectroscopy,and atomic force microscopy.The obtained fewlayer MoSe2 dispersion is further composited with a polymer material for convenient fabrication of MoSe2 thin films.Then,we investigated the nonlinear optical(NLO) absorption property of the few-layer MoSe2 film using a balanced twin-detector measurement technique.Both the saturable absorption and TPA effects of the few-layer MoSe2 film were found by increasing the input optical intensity.The saturable absorption shows a modulation depth of 0.63% and a low nonsaturable loss of 3.5%,corresponding to the relative modulation depth of 18%.The TPA effect occurred when the input optical intensity exceeds 260 MW∕cm2.Furthermore,we experimentally exploit the saturable absorption of few-layer MoSe2 film to mode lock an all-fiber erbium-doped fiber laser.Stable soliton mode locking at 1558 nm center wavelength is achieved with pulse duration of 1.45 ps.It was also observed that the TPA process suppresses the mode-locking operation in the case of higher optical intensity.Our results indicate that layered MoSe2,as another two-dimensional nanomaterial,can provide excellent NLO properties(e.g.,saturable absorption and TPA) for potential applications in ultrashort pulse generation and optical limiting.Zhengqian Luo Yingyue Li Min Zhong Yizhong Huang Xiaojiao Wan Jian Peng Jian Weng 2015Photonics Research2015,3,3:8
8Generation of the regulatory protein rtTA transgenic mice显示文摘AIM: To translate Tet-on system into a conditional mouse model, in which hepatitis B or C virus (HBV or HCV) gene could be spatiotemporally expressed to overcome 'immune tolerance' formed during the embryonic development and 'immune escape' against hepatitis virus antigen(s), an effector mouse, carrying the reverse tetracycline-responsive transcriptional activator (rtTA) gene under the tight control of liver-specific human apoE promoter, is required to be generated. METHODS: To address this end, rtTA fragment amplified by PCR was effectively inserted into the vector of pLiv.7 containing apoE promoter to create the rtTA expressing vector, I.e., pApoE-rtTA. ApoE-rtTA transgenic fragment (-6.9 kb) released from pApoE-rtTA was transferred into mice by pronucleus injection, followed by obtaining one transgene (+) founder animal from microinjection through PCR and Southern blot analysis.RESULTS: rtTA transgene which could be transmitted to subsequent generation (F1) derived from founder was expressed in a liver-specific fashion. 10Video Copy Detection Based on Spatiotemporal Fusion Model显示文摘Content-based video copy detection is an active research field due to the need for copyright pro-tection and business intellectual property protection. This paper gives a probabilistic spatiotemporal fusion approach for video copy detection. This approach directly estimates the location of the copy segment with a probabilistic graphical model. The spatial and temporal consistency of the video copy is embedded in the local probability function. An effective local descriptor and a two-level descriptor pairing method are used to build a video copy detection system to evaluate the approach. 11PDCD5 regulates iNKT cell terminal maturation and iNKT1 fate decision显示文摘Invariant natural killer T1(iNKT1)cells are characterized by the preferential expression of T-box transcription factor T-bet(encoded by Tbx21)and the production of cytokine IFN-γ,but the relationship between the developmental process and iNKT1 lineage diversification in the thymus remains elusive.We report in the present study a crucial role of programmed cell death 5(PDCD5)in iNKT cell terminal maturation and iNKT1 fate determination.Mice with T cell-specific deletion of PDCD5 had decreased numbers of thymic and peripheral iNKT cells with a predominantly immature phenotype and defects in response toα-galactosylceramide.Loss of PDCD5 also selectively abolished the iNKT1 lineage by reducing T-bet expression in iNKT cells at an early thymic developmental stage(before CD44 upregulation).We further demonstrated that TOX2,one of the high mobility group proteins that was highly expressed in iNKT cells at stage 1 and could be stabilized by PDCD5,promoted the permissive histone H3K4me3 modification in the promoter region of Tbx21.These data indicate a pivotal and unique role of PDCD5/TOX2 in iNKT1 lineage determination.They also suggest that the fate of iNKT1 may be programmed at the developmental stage of iNKT cells in the thymus.Ke Wang Xinwei Zhang Yifan Wang Gaowen Jin Mingyang Li Shusong Zhang Jie Hao Rong Jin Xiaojun Huang Hounan Wu Jun Zhang Yingyu Chen Qing Ge 2019Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,9:4
12Responsive changes of rumen microbiome and metabolome in dairy cows with different susceptibility to subacute ruminal acidosis显示文摘Subacute ruminal acidosis(SARA)represents one of the most important digestive disorders in intensive dairy farms,and dairy cows are individually different in the severity of SARA risk.The objectives of the current study were to investigate differences in the ruminal bacterial community and metabolome in dairy cattle with different susceptibility to SARA.In the present study,12 cows were initially enrolled in the experiment.Based on average ruminal pH,4 cows with the lowest ruminal pH were assigned to the susceptible group(SUS,pH=5.76,n=4)and 4 cows with the highest ruminal pH assigned to the tolerant group(TOL,pH=6.10,n=4).Rumen contents from susceptible(SUS,n=4)and tolerant(TOL,n=4)dairy cows were collected through rumen fistula to systematically reveal the rumen microbial and metabolic alterations of dairy cows with different susceptibility to SARA using multi-omics approaches(16S and 18S rRNA gene sequencing and metabolome).The results showed that despite being fed the same diet,SUS cows had lower ruminal pH and higher concentrations of total volatile fatty acids(VFA)and propionate than TOL cows(P<0.05).No significant differences were observed in dry matter intake,milk yield,and other milk compositions between the SUS and TOL groups(P>0.05).The principal coordinates analysis based on the analysis of molecular variance indicated a significant difference in bacterial composition between the two groups(P=0.01).More specifically,the relative abundance of starch-degrading bacteria(Prevotella spp.)was greater(P<0.05),while the proportion of fiber-degrading bacteria(unclassified Ruminococcaceae spp.,Ruminococcus spp.,Papillibacter,and unclassified Family_-XIII)was lower in the rumen of SUS cows compared with TOL cows(P<0.05).Community analysis of protozoa showed that there were no significant differences in the diversity,richness,and community structure(P>0.05).Metabolomics analysis revealed that the concentrations of organic acids(such as lactic acid),biogenic amines(such as histamine),and bacterial degradation products(such as hypoxanthine)were significantly higher in the SUS group compared to the TOL group(P<0.05).These findings revealed that the higher proportion of starch-degrading bacteria/lower fiber-degrading bacteria in the rumen of SUS cows resulted in higher VFA-producing capacity,in particular propionate.This caused a disruption in metabolic homeostasis in the rumen which might be the reason for the higher susceptibility to SARA.Overall,these findings enhanced our understanding of the ruminal microbiome and metabolic changes in cows susceptible to SARA.Tao Zhang Yingyu Mu Ruiyang Zhang Yanfeng Xue Changzheng Guo Wangpan Qi Jiyou Zhang Shengyong Mao 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,1:4

15Graph neural networks for an accurate and interpretable prediction of the properties of polycrystalline materials显示文摘Various machine learning models have been used to predict the properties of polycrystalline materials,but none of them directly consider the physical interactions among neighboring grains despite such microscopic interactions critically determining macroscopic material properties.Here,we develop a graph neural network(GNN)model for obtaining an embedding of polycrystalline microstructure which incorporates not only the physical features of individual grains but also their interactions.The embedding is then linked to the target property using a feed-forward neural network.Using the magnetostriction of polycrystalline Tb_(0.3)Dy_(0.7)Fe_(2) alloys as an example,we show that a single GNN model with fixed network architecture and hyperparameters allows for a low prediction error of~10%over a group of remarkably different microstructures as well as quantifying the importance of each feature in each grain of a microstructure to its magnetostriction.Such a microstructure-graph-based GNN model,therefore,enables an accurate and interpretable prediction of the properties of polycrystalline materials.Minyi Dai Mehmet F.Demirel Yingyu Liang Jia-Mian Hu 2021npj Computational Materials2021,,1:3

17Evolvement behavior of microstructure and H_2O adsorption of lignite pyrolysis显示文摘The effect of pyrolysis on the microstructure and moisture adsorption of lignite was investigated with low field nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Changes in oxygen-containing groups were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), and H2 O adsorption mechanism on the surface of lignite pyrolysis was inferred. Two major changes in the pore structure of lignite char were observed as temperature increased in 105–200 °C and500–700 °C. Pyrolysis temperature is a significant factor in removing carboxyl and phenolic hydroxyl from lignite.Variation of ether bond content can be divided into three stages; the content initially increased, then decreased,and finally increased. The equilibrium adsorption ratio, content of oxygen-containing groups, and variation of pore volume below 700° were closely correlated with each other. The amount of adsorbed water on char pyrolyzed at700 °C increased. 19Temporal Control of Cre Recombinase-mediated in Vitro DNA Recombination by Tet-on Gene Expression System显示文摘Conditional gene expression and gene deletion are important experimental approaches for examining the functions of particular gene products in mouse models. These strategies exploiting Cre-mediated site-specific DNA recombination have been incorporated into transgenic and gene-targeting procedures to allow in vivo manipulation of DNA in embryonic stem cells (ES cells) or living animals. The Cre/lox P system has become widely used in conditional gene targeting, conditional gene repair and activation, inducible chromosome translocation, and chromosome engineering. In this project, we have employed the universal transgenic system and the liver-specific promoter system for tightly temporal and liver-specific control of Cre gene expression in mice that (1) integrates the advantages of the Tet-on gene expression system and Cre/lox P site-mediated gene activation, and (2) simplifies the scheme of animal crosses through a combination of two control elements in a single transgene. A liver-specific apoE promoter was inserted into the promoter cloning site upstream of the rtTA cassette of pCore construct to generate the transgene construct pApoErtTA-tetO-Cre, followed by demonstrating stringent regulation of doxycycline (Dox)-induced Cre-mediated recombination in the lox P-flanked transcription STOP cassette-modified BEL-7402 cells. 20Clinical Features of Perforating Eye Injuries Complicated with Intraocular Foreign Bodies Located at the Posterior Global Wall显示文摘Purpose:To investigate the clinical characteristics and therapeutic effects of vitrectomy in patients with perforating eye injuries with foreign bodies at the exit wound in the posterior global wall.Methods:.Fifty-two cases,diagnosed with perforating eye injury with foreign bodies at the exit of the posterior global wall and admitted to our hospital between June 2010 and June2013,were enrolled in this study.All patients underwent vitrectomy and removal of intraocular foreign bodies and were followed up for 6 to 24 months.The causes of injuries were analyzed and postoperative visual acuity and overall treatment efficacy were evaluated.Results:Intraocular foreign bodies were successfully removed in all cases.The incidence of postoperative complication was low.Among 52 subjects,46 showed alleviated symptoms after treatment with an overall efficacy of 88.46%.Conclusion:.Perforating eye injuries combined with residual foreign bodies in the posterior global wall are commonly observed in young people who perform physical labor.Vitrectomy has a high efficacy for the treatment of perforating eye injuries complicated with foreign bodies located at the posterior global wall,with a low incidence of postoperative complications.Zufeng Huang Linxing Chen Yingyu Zeng Caimei Lin 2013Eye Science2013,28,4:3
