1Mechanism for suspension magnetization roasting of iron ore using straw-type biomass reductant显示文摘As an alternative reductant for fossil fuel in the future,straw-type biomass contributes to emission reduction and green utilization in the suspension roasting process.In this study,the influences of the roasting time,roasting temperature and dose of straw-type biomass after suspension magnetization roasting(SMR) and separation were investigated.The optimal conditions were determined to be a roasting time of 7.5 min with a straw-type biomass dose of 20 wt% and a roasting temperature of 800℃ in which an iron grade of 71.07% and recovery of 94.17% were obtained for the iron concentrate.The maximum saturation magnetization under optimal conditions was 35.05 A·m^(2)·g^(-1),and the gaseous regulation of the biomass revealed that cumulative reducing gas volume was 293.93 mL at the optimal roasting time of450 s.The transformation of hematite to magnetite was detected by X-ray diffraction(XRD).During microstructure evolution,the outer layer consisting of fissures and tiny holes continuously deepened toward the core.Yue Cao Yongsheng Sun Peng Gao Yuexin Han Yanjun Li 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,6:8

5Screening and Simple Identification of Drought-resistant Lines in Sugarcane Breeding显示文摘Six sugarcane plant lines were selected from seedlings owing to good performance in agronomic characters under drought conditions.A special test with drought stress to death under groove was carried out to select the best drought tolerant clones among them. The proportion of bound water to free water content in leaves,cell cytoplasm membrane permeability in leaves,yield components,etc.,which were regarded as reasonable indexes to identify drought resistance of sugarcane,were measured. The results showed that both YT06-868 and YT05-339 were winners. The two were high-class drought-resistant clones. On some measured indexes,both of them had higher values than ROC22( the main check variety) and on the other ones,they both had the same values as ROC22. 7The first extra-large helium-rich gas field identified in a tight sandstone of the Dongsheng Gas Field,Ordos Basin,China显示文摘Helium gas is a scarce but important strategic resource,which is usually associated with natural gas.Presently,only one extra-large helium-rich gas field has been found in China:the Hetianhe Gas Field in the Tarim Basin.This paper reports a new example,the Dongsheng Gas Field(DGF)in the Ordos Basin.In this study,92 natural gas samples from the DGF were analyzed for helium content and isotope composition using isotope mass spectrometry.The natural gas samples were found to have an average helium content of 0.133%,with 65(70.7%)of the samples having a helium content of 0.1%or more.Based on the proven natural gas reserves of the DGF,the proven geological helium reserves were calculated to be 1.96×10^(8)m^(3),suggesting that it represents the first extra-large helium-rich natural gas reservoir to be hosted in tight sandstone in China.The ^(3)He/^(4)He ratios of 5 natural gas samples from the DGF are within the range of 3.03×10^(−8)–3.44×10^(−8).Therefore,the helium in the gas field is thought to be of typical crustal origin and to have formed in the granitic basement that is rich in uranium and thorium.The accumulation of helium-rich natural gas was controlled by regional tectonic activities.Activity along the fault connecting the reservoir with the basement caused release of the helium gas,which entered the overlying strata along the fault and accumulated with conventional hydrocarbon gas.Based on the structural background and the distribution of helium source rocks in the Ordos Basin,the main helium source rocks with high exploration potential are located in deep strata within the north and middle parts of the basin.Weilong PENG Quanyou LIU Ying ZHANG Huichong JIA Dongya ZHU Qingqiang MENG Xiaoqi WU Shang DENG Yongsheng MA 2022Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,5:2
8Developing hierarchical CdS/NiO hollow heterogeneous architectures for boosting photocatalytic hydrogen generation显示文摘The hierarchical binary CdS/NiO hollow heterogeneous architectures(HHAs)with p–n heterojunction are constructed by a facile microwave-assisted wet chemical process for high-efficient photocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)from water.The as-designed CdS/NiO HHAs are composed of hexagonal n-type CdS nanoparticles with a size in the range of 20–40 nm attaching to cubic p-type NiO hollow microspheres(HMSs)which are aggregates of porous nanoplates with a thickness of about 20 nm.The photocatalytic water splitting over CdS/NiO HHAs is significantly increased under simulated solar irradiation,among which the most active sample of CdS/NiO-3(the mass ratio of CdS to NiO is 1:3)exhibits the fastest photocatalytic HER rate of 1.77 mmol∙g^(−1)∙h^(−1),being 16.2 times than that of pure CdS.The boosted photocatalytic HER could be attributed to the synergistic effect on the proportional p–n heterojunction with special hierarchical hollow and porous morphology,an enhancement of visible light absorption,and an improvement of photoinduced charge separation as well as the photo-stability given by the composite heterojunction.This work shows a viable strategy to design the heterojunction with special morphology for the efficient hydrogen generation by water splitting utilizing solar energy.Chonghai Deng Fan Ye Tao Wang Xiaohui Ling Lulu Peng Hong Yu Kangzhe Ding Hanmei Hu Qiang Dong Huirong Le Yongsheng Han 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:2
9Alkali/alkaline-earth metal-modified MnO_(x) supported on three-dimensionally ordered macroporous–mesoporous Ti_(x)Si+(1-x)O_(2) catalysts:Preparation and catalytic performance for soot combustion显示文摘The performance of catalysts used in after-treatment systems is the key factor for the removal of diesel soot,which is an important component of atmosphericfine particle emissions.Herein,three-dimensionally ordered macroporous–mesoporous Ti_(x)Si+(1-x)O_(2)(3DOM-m Ti_(x)Si+(1-x)O_(2)) and its supported MnO_(x)catalysts doped with different alkali/alkaline-earth metals (AMnO_(x)/3 DOM-m Ti_(0.7)Si_(0.3)O_(2)(A:Li,Na,K,Ru,Cs,Mg,Ca,Sr,Ba)) were prepared by mesoporous template (P123)-assisted colloidal crystal template (CCT) and incipient wetness impregnation methods,respectively.Physicochemical characterizations of the catalysts were performed using scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,N_(2)adsorption–desorption,H_(2)temperature-programmed reduction,O_(2)temperature-programmed desorption,NO temperature-programmed oxidation,and Raman spectroscopy techniques;then,we evaluated their catalytic performances for the removal of diesel soot particles.The results show that the 3DOM-m Ti_(0.7)Si_(0.3)O_(2)supports exhibited a well-defined 3DOM-m nanostructure,and AMnO_(x)nanoparticles with 10–50 nm were evenly dispersed on the inner walls of the uniform macropores.In addition,the as-prepared catalysts exhibited good catalytic performance for soot combustion.Among the prepared catalysts,CsMnO_(x)/3DOM-m Ti_(0.7)Si_(0.3)O_(2)had the highest catalytic activity for soot combustion,with T10,T50,and T90(the temperatures corresponding to soot conversion rates of 10%,50%,and 90%) values of 285,355,and 393℃,respectively.The high catalytic activity of the CsMnO_(x)/3 DOM-m Ti_(0.7)Si_(0.3)O_(2)catalysts was attributed to their excellent low-temperature reducibility and homogeneous macroporous–mesoporous structure,as well as to the synergistic effects between Cs and Mn species and between CsMnO_(x)and the Ti_(0.7)Si_(0.3)O_(2)support.Chao Peng Di Yu Chunlei Zhang Maozhong Chen LanyiWang Xuehua Yu Xiaoqiang Fan Zhen Zhao Kai Cheng Yongsheng Chen YuechangWei Jian Liu 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3:2

11Review on coal-based reduction and magnetic separation for refractory iron-bearing resources显示文摘The application of coal-based reduction in the efficient recovery of iron from refractory iron-bearing resources is comprehensively reviewed.Currently,the development and beneficiation of refractory iron-bearing resources have attracted increasing attention.However,the effect of iron recovery by traditional beneficiation methods is unacceptable.Coal-based reduction followed by magnetic separation is proposed,which adopts coal as the reductant to reduce iron oxides to metallic iron below the melting temperature.The metallic iron particles aggregate and grow,and the particle size continuously increases to be suitable for magnetic separation.The optimization and application of coal-based reduction have been abundantly researched.A detailed literature study on coal-based reduction is performed from the perspectives of thermodynamics,reduction kinetics,growth of metallic iron particles,additives,and application.The coal-based reduction industrial equipment can be developed based on the existing pyrometallurgical equipments,rotary hearth furnace and rotary kiln,which are introduced briefly.However,coal-based reduction currently mainly adopts coal as a reductant and fuel,which may result in high levels of carbon dioxide emissions,energy consumption,and pollution.Technological innovation aiming at decreasing carbon dioxide emissions is a new trend of green and sustainable development of the steel industry.Therefore,the substitution of coal with clean energy(hydrogen,biomass,etc.)for iron oxide reduction shows promise in the future.Qiang Zhang Yongsheng Sun Yuexin Han Yanjun Li Peng Gao 2022International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,12:1

16Promoting the La solution in 2:14:1-type compound:Resultant chemical deviation and microstructural nanoheterogeneity显示文摘RE_(2)Fe_(14)B-based(RE,rare earth)permanent magnets containing abundant and cheap La/Ce have attracted intense attention recently.In comparison with Ce that can fully replace Nd in the 2:14:1 lattice,La substitution for Nd has long been limited at a low level.Here we present that through doping La35 Ce65 alloy with the La/Ce ratio in natural mineral,stable 2:14:1 phase can be maintained at 1273 K within the entire substitution range of[(La_(35)Ce_(65))、(Pr_(20)Nd_(80))_(1-x)]_(2.14)Fe_(14)B(0.6≤x≤1.0,at.%),as verified by composition analysis,microstructural characterization and magnetic measurements.Interestingly,the promoted La solution in 2:14:1 phase induces two unique findings upon coexisting La-Ce-Pr-Nd:i)Compared to Ce that fits well with the nominal concentration,La deviates noticeably from the nominal one;ii)Nanoscale spinodal-decomposition-like phase separation is observed due to different solubilities of La-Ce-Pr-Nd elements in 2:14:1 phase.Above joint effects induce higher Curie temperature than estimation based on the rule of mixture,which delights the prospect of La_(35)Ce_(65)alloy in developing low-cost permanent materials.Yongsheng Liu Jiaying Jin Tianyu Ma Baixing Peng Xinhua Wang Mi Yan 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,3:1

19Tubulointerstitial nephritis antigen-like 1 is a novel matricellular protein that promotes gastric bacterial colonization and gastritis in the setting of Helicobacter pylori infection显示文摘The interaction between the gastric epithelium and immune cells plays key roles in H. pylori-associated pathology. Here, we demonstrate a procolonization and proinflammatory role of tubulointerstitial nephritis antigen-like 1 (TINAGL1), a newly discovered matricellular protein, in H. pylori infection. Increased TINAGL1 production by gastric epithelial cells (GECs) in the infected gastric mucosa was synergistically induced by H. pylori and IL-1β via the ERK-SP1 pathway in a cagA-dependent manner. Elevated human gastric TINAGL1 correlated with H. pylori colonization and the severity of gastritis, and mouse TINAGL1 derived from non-bone marrow-derived cells promoted bacterial colonization and inflammation. Importantly, H. pylori colonization and inflammation were attenuated in Tinagl1−/− and Tinagl1ΔGEC mice and were increased in mice injected with mouse TINAGL1. Mechanistically, TINAGL1 suppressed CCL21 expression and promoted CCL2 production in GECs by directly binding to integrin α5β1 to inhibit ERK and activate the NF-κB pathway, respectively, which not only led to decreased gastric influx of moDCs via CCL21-CCR7-dependent migration and, as a direct consequence, reduced the bacterial clearance capacity of the H. pylori-specific Th1 response, thereby promoting H. pylori colonization, but also resulted in increased gastric influx of Ly6Chigh monocytes via CCL2-CCR2-dependent migration. In turn, TINAGL1 induced the production of the proinflammatory protein S100A11 by Ly6Chigh monocytes, promoting H. pylori-associated gastritis.
