3Dexamethasone-loaded ROS-responsive poly(thioketal)nanoparticles suppress inflammation and oxidative stress of acute lung injury显示文摘Acute lung injury(ALI)is associated with excessive inflammatory response,leading to acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)without timely treatment.A fewer effective drugs are available currently to treat the ALI/ARDS.Herein,a therapeutic nanoplatform with reactive oxygen species(ROS)-responsiveness was developed for the regulation of inflammation.Dexamethasone acetate(Dex)was encapsulated into poly(thioketal)polymers to form polymeric nanoparticles(NPs)(PTKNPs@Dex).The NPs were composed of poly(1,4-phenyleneacetonedimethylene thioketal)(PPADT)and polythioketal urethane(PTKU),in which the thioketal bonds could be cleaved by the high level of ROS at the ALI site.The PTKNPs@Dex could accumulate in the pulmonary inflammatory sites and release the encapsulated payloads rapidly,leading to the decreased ROS level,less generation of pro-inflammatory cytokines,and reduced lung injury and mortality of mice.RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)analysis showed that the therapeutic efficacy of the NPs was associated with the modulation of many immune and inflammation-linked pathways.These findings provide a newly developed nanoplatform for the efficient treatment of ALI/ARDS.Zihe Zhai Wei Ouyang Yuejun Yao Yuqi Zhang Haolan Zhang Feng Xu Changyou Gao 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,8:5
4Mechanical properties of material in a mine dump at the Shengli#1 Surface Coal Mine,China显示文摘In-situ experiments were conducted to investigate the mechanical properties of the soil-rock mixture in the internal dump of the Shengli #1 Surface Coal Mine, China. Based on the experimental results, this study used comparative analysis and found that the shear strength of the soil-rock mixture in the dump was greater than the residual shear strength of the original rock. The results showed that the material presented in the dump as large blocks was the main factor affecting the strength of the soil-rock mixture.Numerical simulation was carried out for the analyses of three factors: different combinations of shear failure, rolling failure along with different large-block radius ratios, and mixture densities. The results illustrated that the cohesion and angle of internal friction of the soil-rock mixture are 12 kPa and 32.26°. However, in some cases the bench angle in the dump was controlled by a coupling relationship of rocks in the material. 5Raman and ellipsometric characterization of hydrogenated amorphous silicon thin films显示文摘Hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) thin films were deposited by plasma-enhanced vapor deposition (PECVD) at different silane temperatures (Tg) before glow-discharge. The effect of Tg on the amorphous network and optoelectronic properties of the films has been investigated by Raman scattering spectra, ellipsometric transmittance spectra, and dark conductivity measurement, respectively. The results show that the increase in Tg leads to an improved ordering of amorphous network on the short and intermediate scales and an increase of both refractive index and absorption coefficient in a-Si:H thin films. It is indicated that the dark conductivity increases by two orders of magnitude when Tg is raised from room temperature (RT) to 433 K. 15Mycorrhizal Networks Interacting with Litter Improves Nutrients and Growth for One Plant through the Vary of N/P Ratio under Karst Soil显示文摘Arbuscular mycorrhizae(AM)fungi affect nutrient uptake for host plants,while it is unclear how AM fungi interacting with soil litter affect plant growth and nutrient utilization through mycorrhizal networks in karst soil of deficient nutrients beyond the rhizosphere.An experiment was conducted in a microcosm composed of a planting compartment for Cinnamomum camphora seedlings with or without Glomus mosseae fungus(M+vs.M−)and an adjacent litter compartment containing or not containing additional litter material of Arthraxon hispidus(L+vs.L−),where the compartments are connected either by nylon mesh of 20μm or 0.45μm which either allow available mycorrhizal networks within the litter compartment or prevent mycelium entering into the litter compartment(N+vs.N−).Plant biomass and nutrients were measured.The results showed that the addition of litter changed the symbiotic process in mycorrhizal colonization,spore,and hyphal density,which when in association with the host plant then affected the biomass,and accumulations of N(nitrogen)and P(phosphorus)in the individual plant as well as root,stem,and leaf respectively.AM fungi increased N and P accumulations and N/P ratio in individual plants and plant tissues.A decrease of the N/P ratio of the individual plant was observed when AM fungus interacted significantly with litter through mycorrhizal networks in the litter compartment.The results indicate that the C.camphora seedlings benefited from litter in nutrient utilization of N and P through the vary of N/P ratio when accessing mycorrhizal networks.These findings suggest that mycorrhizal networks interacting with litter improve growth and nutrients of N and P for plants through the vary of N/P ratio in order to alleviate nutrient limitation under karst soil.Liling Kang Yuejun He Lipeng Zang Jianpeng Si Ying Yang Kaiping Shen Tingting Xia Qiyu Tan Bangli Wu Yun Guo Wei Wang Qin Liang 2021Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,3:0

17Microenvironment-responsive chemotherapeutic nanogels for enhancing tumor therapy via DNA damage and glutathione consumption显示文摘Although targeted therapy and immunotherapy are now shining in the treatment of some cancers,chemotherapy is still the cornerstone of drug treatment for many cancer patients.The emergence of chemotherapy prodrugs can improve the drug activity and reduce the side effects of chemotherapy.When used,the tumor microenvironment has characteristics different from normal tissues,and the existence of the microenvironment provided a more convenient way to design responsive nanodrugs.Herein,we designed a glutathione(GSH)-responsive prodrug nanogels for enhancing tumor chemotherapy.In the nanogels of HHNP,10-hydroxycamptothecin(HCPT)played an essential role in killing cancer cells.HCPT was jointed with a cross-linker agent with disulfide bond and was further coated with polyethylene glycol,which not only prolonged the half-life of the drug,but also made HCPT accurate transport to the tumor fractions and achieved precise and controllable release.The proposal of HHNP effectively retained the biological activity of the drug,and introduced functions such as targeting,selective release and biodegradation,which greatly improved the medical efficiency of the drug and effectively reduced the toxic and side effects.This chemotherapeutic prodrug nanogel offers a new window for constructing efficient drug delivery platform.Mengjie Ye Yuan Gao Mengyun Liang Wei Qiu Xian bin Ma Jiming Xu Junfeng Hu Peng Xue Yuejun Kang Zhigang Xu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9:0
18Preparation and rheological behaviors of PA6/SiO_(2) nanocompiste显示文摘The polyamide 6(PA6)/SiO_(2) nanocomposites were prepared by in situ polymerization and the rheological behaviors were investigated.The morphology of resultant materials was characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and the rheological behaviors were characterized by capillary rheometer.The results showed that the SiO_(2) particle size was around 50 nm and the particles dispersed evenly in PA6 matrix.The nanocomposites were pesudoplastic fluids and the apparent viscosities of nanocomposites increased initially and then decreased with the increase in nano-SiO_(2) content at the same temperature.The non-Newtonian indexes of nanocomposites were smaller than those of pure PA6.With the increase in nano-SiO_(2) content the apparent viscous activation energies of nanocomposites increased initially and then decreased.The rheological behaviors revealed that there were strong interactions between PA6 macromolecule chains and nano-SiO_(2) particles.WEI Shanshan LIU Yuejun LI Xianggang HUANG Yugang WANG Xiayu ZHANG Ping 2007Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2007,1,4:0
