1The adsorption behavior of metals in aqueous solution by microplastics effected by UV radiation显示文摘Microplastics are considered as the carrier to heavy metals in the environment.But the sorption ability of microplastics influenced by photo-aging is remaining unclear.In the present study,the sorption of two kinds of metal ions(Cu^2+ and Zn^2+)in the aqueous solution by both the virgin and aged microplastics was investigated.Polyethylene terephthalate(PET)debris,one of the typical kinds of microplastics was chosen in this study.Photo-aging of microplastics in environment was simulated using UV radiation in the laboratory.Date analysis indicated that the aged microplastics had higher adsorption capacity of heavy metals than original ones.This could be related to the increased surface area and oxygen containing function appeared in the surface of aged microplastics after UV radiation.When prolonging the time of radiation,the enhanced adsorption capacities of microplastics appeared for Cu^2+ and Zn^2+.These results showed a great interaction between the aging degree of plastics and sorption capacity to heavy metals.Meanwhile,external conditions including temperature and pH value were also showed great influence to the adsorption behavior.Qiongjie Wang Yong Zhang Xiaoxue Wangjin Yulai Wang Guanhua Meng Yihua Chen 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,1:47
2Linkage between water soluble organic matter and bacterial community in sediment from a shallow, eutrophic lake, Lake Chaohu, China显示文摘Lacustrine sediment played important roles in migration and transformation of its water soluble organic matter(WSOM), and the source and composition of WSOM would affect water trophic status and the fate of pollutants. However, we know little about the pathway of WSOM transformation and its driving bacterial communities in lacustrine sediment. In the present study, we investigated the spatial distribution patterns of sediment WSOM and its fluorescent fractions across Lake Chaohu using fluorescence spectroscopy, and explored WSOM compositional structure through our proposed calculated ratios. In addition, we also analyzed sediment bacterial community using Illumina sequencing technology, and probed the possible pathway of sediment WSOM transformation under the mediate of indigenous bacteria. Our results showed that the inflowing rivers affected the spatial distribution patterns of WSOM and its five fractions(including tyrosine-, tryptophan-, fulvic acid-, humic acid-like substances and soluble microbial productions), and sediment WSOM originated from fresh algae detritus or bacterial sources. In parallel, we also found that Proteobacteria(mainly γ-Proteobacteria and δ-Proteobacteria), Firmicutes(mainly Bacilli), Chloroflexi, Acidobacteria, Planctomycetes and Actinobacteria dominate sediment bacterial community. Furthermore, these dominant bacteria triggered sediment WSOM transformation, specifically, the humic acid-like substances could be converted into fulvic acid-like substances, and further degraded into aromatic protein-like and SMP substances. In addition, our proposed ratios(P-L:H-L, Ar-P:SMP and H-L ratio), as supplementary tool, were effective to reveal WSOM composition structure. 4Fast calorimetric scanning of micro-sized SnAgCu single droplet at a high cooling rate显示文摘The undercooling of the single micro-sized droplet of Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu(wt%)alloy has been studied via the newly developed fast calorimetric scanning technique,by which the fast heating and cooling treatment for a single droplet can be realized,with the maximum heating or cooling rate being 1×104K/s.Owing to the nearly spherical shape of the single droplet upon heating and cooling and the resul-tant geometric stability,the influence of the droplet size on the solidification process could be elimi-nated.As a result,the puzzled issue on how to separate the mutual effects of droplet size and cooling rate in the field of rapid solidification has been primarily solved,making it possible to study separately the effect of droplet size and cooling rate.Meanwhile,the in-situ observation on deep undercooling could be actualized in this condition,differing from that obtained only by theoretical calculation.The results showed that the undercooling was increased with the increasing cooling rate,and the maximum in-situ measured undercooling reached 116.9K.The undercooling of the single droplet,however,was increased abruptly when cooled at the rate of 2×103K/s.The undercooling increased slightly as the cooling rate was increased continuously to 1×104K/s,implying the infeasibility for gaining large undercooling only by increasing the cooling rate.GAO YuLai ZOU ChangDong YANG Bin ZHAI QiJie 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,6:2

7Study on undercooling of metal droplet in rapid solidification显示文摘A mathematical model for the undercooling of the metal droplet during the rapid solidification is established, by which the factors that influence the undercooling of the metal droplet during the rapid solidification are analyzed, and the parameter ζ=σSL3/ (TL?H 2 ) is defined as the impact factor of the undercooling for the droplet solidification. Different undercoolings of droplets induced by various rapid solidification conditions are mainly ascribed to the change of the impact factor. Moreover, it is shown that the larger of ζ, the higher the relative undercooling can be gained. 19Improvement of Stress-rupture Life for Modified-HR6W Austenitic Stainless Steel显示文摘Stress-rupture life of HR6W austenitic stainless steel modified with B and Mg additions was measured, and the microstructures were analyzed by optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy equipped with energy dispersive spectroscopy. The results indicated that the enhancement of the stress-rupture life was mainly due to the precipitation with B in the elemental form at the grain boundaries, and the improvement of the form of carbides at grain boundaries and the removal of O and S elements by addition of Mg.
