Water in coesite: Incorporation mechanism and operation condition, solubility and P-T dependence, and contribution to water transport and coesite preservation显示文摘A series of coesite, coexisting with or without a liquid phase, was synthesized in the nominal system SiO2-H2O at800-1450℃and 5 GPa.Micro-Raman spectroscopy was used to identity the crystalline phase, electron microprobe and LA-ICP-MS were employed to quantity some major and trace elements, and unpolarized FTIR spectroscopy was applied to probe the different types of hydrogen defects, explore water-incorporation mechanisms and quantify water contents.Trace amounts of A1 and B were detected in the coesite.Combining our results with the results in the literatures,we have found no positive correlation between the Al contents and the'Al'-based hydrogen concentrations, suggesting that previously proposed hydrogen-incorporation mechanism H^++Al^3+■Si^4+does not function in coesite. In contrast,we have confirmed the positive correlation between the B contents and the B-based hydrogen concentrations. The hydrogen-incorporation mechanism H^++B3^+■Si^4+readily takes place in coesite at different P-T conditions, and significantly increases the water content at both liquid-saturated and liquid-undersaturated conditions. For the SiO2-H2O system,we have found that type-Ⅰhydrogarnet substitution plays a dictating role in incorporating water into coesite at liquid-saturated condition,type-II hydrogarnet substitution contributes significantly at nearly dry condition, and both operate at conditions in between. The water solubility of coesite,as dictated by the type-Ⅰhydrogarnet substitution, positively correlates with both P and T,cH2O=-105(30)+5.2(32)×P+0.112(26)×T,with cH2O in wt ppm,P in GPa and T in℃.Due to its low water solubility and small fraction in subducted slabs, coesite may contribute insignificantly to the vertical water transport in subduction zones.Furthermore, the water solubility of any coesite in exhuming ultra-high pressure metamorphic rocks should be virtually zero as coesite becomes metastable. With an adequately fast waterdiffusion rate, this metastable coesite should be completely dry, which may have been the key factor to the partial preservation of most natural Coe.As a byproduct,a new IR experimental protocol for accurate water determination in optically anisotropic nominally anhydrous minerals has been found.Aided with the empirical method of Paterson(1982)it employs multiple unpolarized IR spectra, collected from randomly-orientated mineral grains,to approximate both total integrated absorbance and total integrated molar absorption coefficient. Its success relies on a high-level orientation randomness in the IR analyses. | Wei Yan Yanyao Zhang Yunlu Ma Mingyue He Lifei Zhang Weidong Sun Christina Yan Wang Xi Liu | 2021 | Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,1: | 3
The Msi1-mTOR pathway drives the pathogenesis of mammary and extramammary Paget’s disease显示文摘Mammary and extramammary Paget’s Diseases(PD)are a malignant skin cancer characterized by the appearance of Paget cells.Although easily diagnosed, its pathogenesis remains unknown.Here,single-cell RNA-sequencing identified distinct cellular states, novel biomarkers, and signaling pathways—including mTOR,associated with extramammary PD.Interestingly,we identified MSI1 ectopic overexpression in basal epithelial cells of human PD skin, and show that Msi1 overexpression in the epidermal basal layer of mice phenocopies human PD at histopathological,single-cell and molecular levels.Using this mouse model,we identified novel biomarkers of Paget-like cells that translated to human Paget cells.Furthermore,single-cell trajectory,RNA velocity and lineage-tracing analyses revealed a putative keratinocyte-to-Paget-like cell conversion, supporting the in situ transformation theory of disease pathogenesis.Mechanistically, the Msi1-mTOR pathway drives keratinocyte-Paget-like cell conversion, and suppression of mTOR signaling with Rapamycin significantly rescued the Paget-like phenotype in Msi1-overexpressing transgenic mice.Topical Rapamycin treatment improved extramammary PD-associated symptoms in humans, suggesting mTOR inhibition as a novel therapeutic treatment in PD. | Yongli Song Christian F.Guerrero-Juarez Zhongjian Chen Yichen Tang Xianghui Ma Cong Lv Xueyun Bi Min Deng Lina Bu Yuhua Tian Ruiqi Liu Ran Zhao Jiuzhi Xu Xiaole Sheng Sujuan Du Yeqiang Liu Yunlu Zhu Shi-jun Shan Hong-duo Chen Yiqiang Zhao Guangbiao Zhou Jianwei Shuai Fazheng Ren Lixiang Xue Zhaoxia Ying Xing Dai Christopher J.Lengner Bogi Andersen Maksim V.Plikus Qing Nie Zhengquan Yu-Show | 2020 | Cell Research2020,30,10: | 2
Research community detection from multi-relation researcher network based on structure/attribute similarities显示文摘Purpose: This paper aims to provide a method to detect research communities based on research interest in researcher network, which combines the topological structure and vertex attributes in a unified manner.Design/methodology/approach: A heterogeneous researcher network has been constructed by combining multiple relations of academic researchers. Vertex attributes and their similarities were considered and calculated. An approach has been proposed and tested to detect research community in research organizations based on this multi-relation researcher network.Findings: Detection of topologically well-connected, semantically coherent and meaningful research community was achieved.Research limitations: The sample size of evaluation experiments was relatively small. In the present study, a limited number of 72 researchers were analyzed for constructing researcher network and detecting research community. Therefore, a large sample size is required to give more information and reliable results.Practical implications: The proposed multi-relation researcher network and approaches for discovering research communities of similar research interests will contribute to collective innovation behavior such as brainstorming and to promote interdisciplinary cooperation.Originality/value: Recent researches on community detection devote most efforts to singlerelation researcher networks and put the main focus on the topological structure of networks. In reality, there exist multi-relation social networks. Vertex attribute also plays an important role in community detection. The present study combined multiple single-relational researcher networks into a multi-relational network and proposed a structure-attribute clustering method for detecting research community in research organizations. | Ping LIU Fenglin CHEN Yunlu MA Yuehong HU Kai FANG Rui MENG | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Library and Information Science2013,,1: | 1
Rice FLOURY ENDOSPERM22, encoding a pentatricopeptide repeat protein, is involved in both mitochondrial RNA splicing and editing and is crucial for endosperm development显示文摘Most of the reported P-type pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR) proteins play roles in organelle RNA stabilization and splicing. However, P-type PPRs involved in both RNA splicing and editing have rarely been reported, and their underlying mechanism remains largely unknown. Here, we report a rice floury endosperm22(flo22) mutant with delayed amyloplast development in endosperm cells. Map-based cloning and complementation tests demonstrated that FLO22 encodes a mitochondrion-localized P-type PPR protein.Mutation of FLO22 resulting in defective transsplicing of mitochondrial nad1 intron 1 and perhaps causing instability of mature transcripts affected assembly and activity of complex Ⅰ, and mitochondrial morphology and function. RNA-seq analysis showed that expression levels of many genes involved in starch and sucrose metabolism were significantly down-regulated in the flo22mutant compared with the wild type, whereas genes related to oxidative phosphorylation and the tricarboxylic acid cycle were significantly upregulated. In addition to involvement in splicing as a P-type PPR protein, we found that FLO22 interacted with DYW3, a DYW-type PPR protein, and they may function synergistically in mitochondrial RNA editing. The present work indicated that FLO22 plays an important role in endosperm development and plant growth by participating in nad1 maturation and multi-site editing of mitochondrial messager RNA. | Hang Yang Yunlong Wang Yunlu Tian Xuan Teng Zehui Lv Jie Lei Erchao Duan Hui Dong Xue Yang Yuanyan Zhang Yinglun Sun Xiaoli Chen Xiuhao Bao Rongbo Chen Chuanwei Gu Yipeng Zhang Xiaokang Jiang Wenyu Ma Pengcheng Zhang Yi Ji Yu Zhang Yihua Wang Jianmin Wan | 2023 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,3: | 1
Ribonuclease H-like gene SMALL GRAIN2 regulates grain size in rice through brassinosteroid signaling pathway显示文摘Grain size is a key agronomic trait that determines the yield in plants.Regulation of grain size by brassinosteroids(BRs)in rice has been widely reported. However, the relationship between the BR signaling pathway and grain size still requires further study. Here,we isolated a rice mutant, named small grain2(sg2),which displayed smaller grain and a semi-dwarf phenotype. The decreased grain size was caused by repressed cell expansion in spikelet hulls of the sg2 mutant.Using map-based cloning combined with a Mut Map approach,we cloned SG2,which encodes a plant-specific protein with a ribonuclease H-like domain.SG2 is a positive regulator downstream of GLYCOGEN SYNTHASE KINASE2(GSK2)in response to BR signaling, and its mutation causes insensitivity to exogenous BR treatment.Genetical and biochemical analysis showed that GSK2 interacts with and phosphorylates SG2.We further found that BRs enhance the accumulation of SG2 in the nucleus, and subcellular distribution of SG2 is regulated by GSK2 kinase activity. In addition,Oryza sativa OVATE family protein 19(OsOFP19),a negative regulator of grain shape, interacts with SG2 and plays an antagonistic role with SG2 in controlling gene expression and grain size. Our results indicated that SG2 is a new component of GSK2-related BR signaling response and regulates grain size by interacting with Os OFP19. | Yunshuai Huang Hui Dong Changling Mou Ping Wang Qixian Hao Min Zhang Hongmin Wu Fulin Zhang Tengfei Ma Rong Miao Kai Fu Yaping Chen Ziyan Zhu Cheng Chen Qikai Tong Zhuoran Wang Shirong Zhou Xi Liu Shijia Liu Yunlu Tian Ling Jiang Jianmin Wan | 2022 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,10: | 1
Raman and infrared spectroscopic quantification of the carbonate concentration in K_(2)CO_(3)aqueous solutions with water as an internal standard显示文摘Carbonate-bearing fluids widely exist in different geological settings, and play important roles in transporting some elements such as the rare earth elements. They may be trapped as large or small fluid inclusions(with the size down to<1μm sometimes),and record critical physical-chemical signals for the formations of their host minerals.Spectroscopic methods like Raman spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy have been proposed as effective methods to quantify the carbonate concentrations of these fluid inclusions.Although they have some great technical advantages over the conventional microthermometry method, there are still some technical difficulties to overcome before they can be routinely used to solve relevant geological problems. The typical limitations include their interlaboratory difference and poor performance on micro fluid inclusions. This study prepared standard ion-distilled water and K_(2)CO_(3)aqueous solutions at different molarities(from 0.5 to 5.5 mol/L),measured densities, collected Raman and infrared spectra, and explored correlations between the K_(2)CO_(3)molarity and the spectroscopic features at ambient P-T conditions. The result confirms that the Raman O-H stretching mode can be used as an internal standard to determine the carbonate concentrations despite some significant differences among the correlations, established in different laboratories, between the relative Raman intensity of the C-O symmetric stretching mode and that of the O-H stretching mode.It further reveals that the interlaboratory difference can be readily removed by performing one high-quality calibration experiment, provided that later quantifying analyses are conducted using the same Raman spectrometer with the same analytical conditions. Our infrared absorption data were collected from thin fluid films(thickness less than~2μm)formed by pressing the prepared solutions in a Microcompression Cell with two diamond-II plates. The data show that both the O-H stretching mode and the O-H bending mode can be used as internal standards to determine the carbonate concentrations.Since the IR signals of the C-O antisymmetric stretching vibration of the CO32ion,and the O-H stretching and bending vibrations from our thin films are very strong, their relative IR absorbance intensity,if well calibrated, can be used to investigate the micron-sized carbonate-bearing aqueous fluid inclusions. This study establishes the first calibration of this kind, which may have some applications.Additionally, our spectroscopic data suggest that as the K_(2)CO_(3)concentration increases the aqueous solution forms more large water molecule clusters via more intense hydrogen-bonding.This process may significantly alter the physical and chemical behavior of the fluids. | Yunlu Ma Wei Yan Qiang Sun Xi Liu | 2021 | Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,2: | 1
Genetic dissection of top three leaf traits in rice using progenies from a japonica × indica cross显示文摘The size of the top three leaves of rice plants is strongly associated with yield; thus, it is important to consider quantitative traits representing leaf size(e.g.,length and width) when breeding novel rice varieties. It is challenging to measure such traits on a large scale in the field, and little is known about the genetic factors that determine the size of the top three leaves. In the present study, a population of recombinant inbred lines(RILs) and reciprocal single chromosomal segment substitution lines(SSSLs) derived from the progeny of a japonica Asominori ? indica IR24 cross were grown under four diverse environmental conditions. Six morphological traits associated with leaf size were measured, namely length and width of the flag, second and third leaves. In the RIL population, 49 QTLs were identified that clustered in 30 genomic region. Twenty-three of these QTLs were confirmed in the SSSL population. A comparison with previously reported genes/QTLs revealed eight novel genomic regions that contained uncharacterized ORFs associated with leaf size. The QTLs identified in this study can be used for markerassisted breeding and for fine mapping of novel genetic elements controlling leaf size in rice. | Changbin Yin Huihui Li Zhigang Zhao Zhiquan Wang Shijia Liu Liangming Chen Xi Liu Yunlu Tian Juan Ma Lidong Xu Dashuang Zhang Susong Zhu Danting Li Jianmin Wan Jiankang Wang | 2017 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2017,59,12: | 1

Systematic Evaluation of Deep Neural Network based Dynamic Modeling Method for AC Power Electronic System显示文摘Since the high penetration of renewable energy complicates the dynamic characteristics of the AC power electronic system(ACPES),it is essential to establish an accurate dynamic model to obtain its dynamic behavior for ensure the safe and stable operation of the system. However, due to the no or limited internal control details, the state-space modeling method cannot be realized. It leads to the ACPES system becoming a black-box dynamic system. The dynamic modeling method based on deep neural network can simulate the dynamic behavior using port data without obtaining internal control details. However, deep neural network modeling methods are rarely systematically evaluated. In practice, the construction of neural network faces the selection of massive data and various network structure parameters. However, different sample distributions make the trained network performance quite different.Different network structure hyperparameters also mean different convergence time.Due to the lack of systematic evaluation and targeted suggestions, neural network modeling with high precision and high training speed cannot be realized quickly and conveniently in practical engineering applications. To fill this gap, this paper systematically evaluates the deep neural network from sample distribution and structural hyperparameter selection. The influence on modeling accuracy is analyzed in detail, then some modeling suggestions are presented.Simulation results under multiple operating points verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. | Yunlu Li Guiqing Ma Junyou Yang Yan Xu | 2023 | CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2023,7,2: | 0
Cyber-physical Modeling Technique based Dynamic Aggregation of Wind Farm Considering LVRT Characteristic显示文摘With the increasing penetration of wind power,large-scale integrated wind turbine brings stability and security risks to the power grid. For the aggregated modeling of large wind farms,it is crucial to consider low voltage ride-through(LVRT)characteristics.However,in aggregation methods, the approximate neglect behavior is essential, which leads to inevitable errors in the aggregation process. Moreover, the lack of parameters in practice brings new challenges to the modeling of a wind farm.To address these issues,a novel cyber-physical modeling method is proposed. This method not only overcomes the aggregation problem under the black-box wind farm but also accurately realizes the aggregation error fitting according to the operation data. The simulation results reveal that the proposed method can accurately simulate the dynamic behaviors of the wind farm in various scenarios, whether in LVRT mode or normal mode. | Guiqing Ma Yunlu Li Junyou Yang Bing Wu | 2023 | CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2023,7,2: | 0
Toxicity of the disinfectant benzalkonium chloride(C_(14))towards cyanobacterium Microcystis results from its impact on the photosynthetic apparatus and cell metabolism显示文摘Quaternary ammonium compounds(QACs)are commonly used in a variety of consumer and commercial products, typically as a component of disinfectants.During the COVID-19 pandemic,QACs became one of the primary agents utilized to inactivate the SARS CoV-2 virus on surfaces. However, the ecotoxicological effects of QACs upon aquatic organisms have not been fully assessed. In this study,we examined the effects of a widely used QAC(benzalkonium chloride-C_(14),BAC-14)on two toxigenic Microcystis strains and one non-toxigenic freshwater Microcystis strain and carried out an analysis focused on primary, adaptive and compensatory stress responses at apical(growth and photosynthesis)and metabolic levels. This analysis revealed that the two toxic Microcystis strains were more tolerant than the non-toxic strain, with 96 hr-EC_(50)values of 0.70,0.76,and 0.38 mg/L BAC-14 for toxigenic M.aeruginosa FACHB-905,toxigenic M.aeruginosa FACHB-469,and non-toxigenic M.wesenbergii FACHB-908,respectively.The photosynthetic activities of the Microcystis, assessed via F_(v)/F_(m) values, were significantly suppressed under 0.4 mg/L BAC-14.Furthermore,this analysis revealed that BAC-14 altered 14,12,and 8 metabolic pathways in M.aeruginosa FACHB-905,M.aeruginosa FACHB-469,and M.wesenbergii FACHB-908,respectively.It is noteworthy that BAC-14 enhanced the level of extracellular microcystin production in the toxigenic Microcystis strains, although cell growth was not significantly affected.Collectively, these data show that BAC-14 disrupted the physiological and metabolic status of Microcystis cells and stimulated the production and release of microcystin, which could result in damage to aquatic systems. | Yunlu Jia Yi Huang Jin Ma Shangwei Zhang Jin Liu Tianli Li Lirong Song | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,1: | 0
