Mechanism of chain propagation for the synthesis of polyoxymethylene dimethyl ethers显示文摘Polyoxymethylene dimethyl ethers(PODE)were synthesized from the reaction of paraformaldehyde with dimethoxymethane(DMM)over different acid catalysts at different conditions.Products were found to follow the Schulz-Flory distribution law.The chain propagation proceeds through the insertion of an individual segment of CH2O one by one, while the simultaneous insertion of a few CH2O segments or their assembly is unlikely.Due to the restriction of this law,it is difficult to increase the selectivity to the desired products(e.g.,PODE3 4).Yupei Zhao Zheng Xu Hui Chen Yuchuan Fu Jianyi Shen 2013Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,6:36

Single-cell RNA-seq highlights intra-tumoral heterogeneity and malignant progression in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma显示文摘Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the most common type of pancreatic cancer featured with high intra-tumoral heterogeneity and poor prognosis. To comprehensively delineate the PDAC intra-tumoral heterogeneity and the underlying mechanism for PDAC progression, we employed single-cell RNA-seq (scRNA-seq) to acquire the transcriptomic atlas of 57,530 individual pancreatic cells from primary PDAC tumors and control pancreases, and identified diverse malignant and stromal cell types, including two ductal subtypes with abnormal and malignant gene expression profiles respectively, in PDAC. We found that the heterogenous malignant subtype was composed of several subpopulations with differential proliferative and migratory potentials. Cell trajectory analysis revealed that components of multiple tumor-related pathways and transcription factors (TFs) were differentially expressed along PDAC progression. Furthermore, we found a subset of ductal cells with unique proliferative features were associated with an inactivation state in tumor-infiltrating T cells, providing novel markers for the prediction of antitumor immune response. Together, our findings provide a valuable resource for deciphering the intra-tumoral heterogeneity in PDAC and uncover a connection between tumor intrinsic transcriptional state and T cell activation, suggesting potential biomarkers for anticancer treatment such as targeted therapy and immunotherapy.Junya Peng Bao-Fa Sun Chuan-Yuan Chen Jia-Yi Zhou Yu-Sheng Chen Hao Chen Lulu Liu Dan Huang Jialin Jiang Guan-Shen Cui Ying Yang Wenze Wang Dan Guo Menghua Dai Junchao Guo Taiping Zhang Quan Liao Yi Liu Yong-Liang Zhao Da-Li Han Yupei Zhao Yun-Gui Yang Wenming Wu 2019Cell Research2019,29,9:24

Real-world study of surgical treatment of pancreatic cancer in China: annual report of China Pancreas Data Center (2016-2020)显示文摘Objective: In 2015, the Chinese Pancreatic Association of the Chinese Society of Surgery of the Chinese Medical Association launched a national multicenter online system for registration of surgical treatment of pancreatic cancer in China, called China Pancreas Data Center (CPDC). With continued effort, the CPDC has developed over time. Herein, we report the general results of the CPDC from January 2016 to January 2020 to present the real-world situation of surgical treatment of pancreatic cancer in China. Methods: The data of the CPDC from January 2016 to January 2020 were retrieved and analyzed in this real-world study, including the data on patient demographics, comorbidities, diagnostic modalities, neoadjuvant treatment, surgical procedures, postoperative complications and treatment, pathological examinations, postoperative adjuvant treatment, survival, and risk factors. Results: A total of 13,595 cases from 70 centers in 28 provinces were retrieved for analysis. This study reported the largest cohort of patients who underwent surgical treatment for pancreatic cancer in China to date. More cases were derived from the Eastern regions, among which Shanghai, Beijing, and Zhejiang ranked in the top three. The peak age of the patients ranged from 60 to 69 years. The ratio of males to females was 1.5:1. Overall, 64.3% of the tumors were located in the head and neck of the pancreas, and 35.7% in the body and tail of the pancreas. Of the patients, 23.0% underwent positron-emission tomography-computed tomography, 21.6% underwent endoscopic ultrasound, and 4.8% underwent preoperative biopsy. Two percent of the patients underwent neoadjuvant treatment, while 68.9% underwent R0 surgical resection (margin free of tumor cells). Of the latter, 78.6% of the operations were open procedures, 12.6% were laparoscopic procedures, 2.9% were robotic procedures, and 3.7% were converted to open procedures. The in-hospital mortality rate after surgery was 0.4%. The incidence of grade 2 and grade 3 postoperative pancreatic fistulas was 25.5% and 2.5%, respectively. The incidence of complications based on the Clavien-Dindo classification was 17.9% of grade II, 4.3% of grade IIIa, 1% of grade IIIb, and 0.6% of grade IV. Of the patients, 28.9% underwent postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy. The 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year overall survival of these patients were 77%, 51%, and 38%, respectively. In the 8542 patients who underwent R0 resection, the 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year overall survival and disease-free survival were 77% , 54%, and 43%, and 68%, 49%, and 41%, respectively. The factors related to the prognosis of these patients were also identified after uni-and multi-variate analyses. Conclusion: The surgical quality, safety, and long-term survival of the patients in CPDC are similar to those of international high-volume pancreatic centers. However, neoadjuvant and postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy should be improved.Wenming Wu Yi Miao Yinmo Yang Wenhui Lou Yupei Zhao 2022Journal of Pancreatology2022,5,1:7
Effect of miniscalpel-needle on relieving the pain of myofascial pain syndrome: a systematic review显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect and safety of miniscalpel-needle(MSN) on reducing the pain of myofascial pain syndrome(MPS).METHODS: We reviewed the available literatures inception up to February 2014 using Pubmed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, Chinese Biomedical Database and Wanfang Database.RESULTS: Eight randomized controlled trials were finally identified. The main controls involved acupuncture, medications, injection, massage and cupping. We found that all of the studies agreed on the potential benefit of MSN as a strategy for MPS and the superiority compared to the controls, however, randomized methods applied in most of the trials could be criticized for their high or unclear risk of bias. Further research is also needed to clarify questions around the appropriate frequency and number of treatment sessions of MSN.CONCLUSION: This review shows that MSN might have the effect on MPS, even though there were some limitations in the studies included in the review. Studies with robust methodology are warranted to further test its pain-relieving effect on MPS.Liu Tong Peng Yuanyuan Zhu Shipeng Chen Huan Li Fuyun Hong Peixin Cao Bingyan Peng Bo Fan Yifan Chen Yupei Zhang Li 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,6:6
A PIF7-CONST ANS-Centered Molecular Regulatory Network Underlying Shade-Accelerated Flowering显示文摘To compete with their neighbors for light and escape shaded environments,sun-loving plants have devel-oped the shade-avoidance syndrome(SAS),a set of responses including alteration of plant architecture and initiation of early flowering and seed set.Previous studies on SAS mainly focused on dissecting molec-ular basis of hypocotyl elongation in seedlings under shade light;however, the molecular mechanisms underlying shade-accelerated flowering in adult plants remain unknown. In this study,we found that CONSTANS(CO)and PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTOR 7(PIF7)have an additive effect on shade-induced flowering, but that LONG HYPOCOTYL IN FAR-RED1(HFR1)represses early flowering by binding to CO and PIF7 and preventing the binding of CO to the promoter of FLOWERING LOCUS T(FT)and the binding of PIF7 to the promoter of pri-MIR156E/F.Under shade,de-phosphorylated PIF7 and accumulated CO,balanced by HFR1,upregulate the expression of FT,TSF,SOC1,and SPLs to accelerate flowering. Moreover,we found that the function of PIF7 in flowering time is independent of phyA.Collectively, these regulatory interactions establish a crucial link between the light signal and genetic network that regulates flowering transition under shade.Renshan Zhang Chuanwei Yang Yupei Jiang Lin Li 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,12:5
Metformin inhibits pancreatic cancer metastasis caused by SMAD4 deficiency and consequent HNF4G upregulation显示文摘Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)has poor prognosis due to limited therapeutic options. This study examines the roles of genome-wide association study identified PDAC-associated genes as therapeutic targets. We have identified HNF4G gene whose silencing most effectively repressed PDAC cell invasiveness.HNF4G overexpression is induced by the deficiency of transcriptional factor and tumor suppressor SMAD4.Increased HNF4G are correlated with SMAD4 deficiency in PDAC tumor samples and associated with metastasis and poor survival time in xenograft animal model and in patients with PDAC(log-rank P=0.036;HR=1.60,95%CI=1.03–2.47).We have found that Metformin suppresses HNF4G activity via AMPK-mediated phosphorylation-coupled ubiquitination degradation and inhibits in vitro invasion and in vivo metastasis of PDAC cells with SMAD4 deficiency.Furthermore,Metformin treatment significantly improve clinical outcomes and survival in patients with SMAD4-deficient PDAC(log-rank P=0.022;HR=0.31,95%CI=0.14–0.68)but not in patients with SMAD4-normal PDAC.Pathway analysis shows that HNF4G may act in PDAC through the cell-cell junction pathway. These results indicate that SMAD4 deficiency-induced overexpression of HNF4G plays a critical oncogenic role in PDAC progression and metastasis but may form a druggable target for Metformin treatment.Chengcheng Wang Taiping Zhang Quan Liao Menghua Dai Junchao Guo Xinyu Yang Wen Tan Dongxin Lin Chen Wu Yupei Zhao 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,2:5
Pancreatic head cancer: Open or minimally invasive pancreaticoduodenectomy?显示文摘Pancreatic head cancer still represents an insurmountable barrier for patients and pancreatic surgeons.Pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD)continues to be the operative standard of care and potentially curative procedure for pancreatic head cancer.Despite the rapid development of minimally invasive techniques, whether the efficacy of minimally invasive pancreaticoduodenectomy(MIPD)is noninferior or superior to open pancreaticoduodenectomy(OPD)remains unclear. In this review,we summarized the history of OPD and MIPD and the latest staging and classification information for pancreatic head cancer as well as the proposed recommendations for MIPD indications for patients with pancreatic head cancer.By reviewing the MIPD-vs.OPD-related literature,we found that MIPD shows noninferiority or superiority to OPD in terms of safety, feasibility, enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)and several short-term and long-term outcomes. In addition,we analyzed and summarized the different MIPD outcomes in the USA,Europe and China.Certain debates over MIPD have continued, however, selection bias, the large number of low-volume centers, the steep MIPD learning curve, high conversion rate and administration of neoadjuvant therapy may limit the application of MIPD for pancreatic head cancer.Mengyu Feng Zhe Cao Zhiwei Sun Taiping Zhang Yupei Zhao 2019Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2019,31,6:4
The role of histone methylation in the development of digestive cancers:a potential direction for cancer management显示文摘Digestive cancers are the leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide and have high risks of morbidity and mortality.Histone methylation, which is mediated mainly by lysine methyltransferases, lysine demethylases, and protein arginine methyltransferases, has emerged as an essential mechanism regulating pathological processes in digestive cancers.Under certain conditions, aberrant expression of these modifiers leads to abnormal histone methylation or demethylation in the corresponding cancer-related genes, which contributes to different processes and phenotypes, such as carcinogenesis, proliferation, metabolic reprogramming, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, invasion, and migration, during digestive cancer development. In this review,we focus on the association between histone methylation regulation and the development of digestive cancers, including gastric cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, and colorectal cancer,as well as on its clinical application prospects, aiming to provide a new perspective on the management of digestive cancers.Yuan Chen Bo Ren Jinshou Yang Huanyu Wang Gang Yang Ruiyuan Xu Lei You Yupei Zhao 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:4
Advance in herpes simplex viruses for cancer therapy显示文摘Oncolytic virotherapy is an attractive approach that uses live viruses to selectively kill cancer cells. Oncolytic viruses can be genetically engineered to induce cell lyses through virus replication and cytotoxic protein expression. Herpes simplex virus (HSV) has become one of the most widely clinically used oncolytic agent. Various types of HSV have been studied in basic or clinical research. Combining oncolytic virotherapy with chemotherapy or radiotherapy generally produces synergic action with unclear molecular mechanisms. Arming HSV with therapeutic transgenes is a promising strategy and can be used to complement conventional therapies. As an efficient gene delivery system, HSV has been successfully used to deliver various immuno-modulatory molecules. Arming HSV with therapeutic genes merits further investigation for potential clinical application.LIU ShangLong DAI MeiHua YOU Lei ZHAO YuPei 2013Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,4:4
Effects of Community Community Communication Technology(ICT) Usage on Community Satisfaction: Case Study in Nanjing, China显示文摘Future or smart community, which mainly refers to the development of community information and communication technology(ICT) platforms or devices, has received considerable attention from urban governments and scholars. However, only a few studies have been conducted to test the actual effects of using these community ICT platforms or devices on the community satisfaction of residents. Therefore, the present study conducts a survey in 40 communities in Nanjing, China and uses a mixed linear regression model to determine the relationship between community ICT usage and community satisfaction. Results indicate that residents with high-level community ICT usage are more satisfied with their community than those with low-level community ICT usage. Moreover, evident differences are observed regarding the influence of new commodity, old commodity and affordable housing communities in Nanjing. These findings are meaningful for the construction and development of future communities.ZHEN Feng QIN Xiao JIANG Yupei CHEN Hui 2019Chinese Geographical Science2019,29,5:3
Evolution Process of Urban Spatial Pattern in Hubei Province Based on DMSP/OLS Nighttime Light Data显示文摘This paper intends to investigate the urban spatial patterns of Hubei Province and its evolution from three different perspectives: urban nodes, urban connections and urban clusters. The research adopts nighttime light imagery of cities in Hubei Province, the viewpoint of ′point-axis-area′ in the ′point-axis system′ theory, and employs light index model, gravity model and social network analysis. The findings are as follows: 1) In terms of urban nodes, the urbanization process of Hubei has been carried out mainly on the basis of external expansion rather than internal increasing. The polarization trend of urban connection network is strengthening. 2) As for urban connections, the estimation of urban connections using light index model is capable of containing various actual flow, and the connections are getting increasingly closer. 3) In regard to urban groups, seven urban groups of varying sizes have formed. On that basis, three stable and relatively independent urban groups as the centers, namely Wuchang, Yichang and Xiangyang emerge as well. But the structures of ′Wuhan Metropolitan Area′, ′Yichang-Jingzhou-Jingmen City Group′ and ′Xiangyang-Shiyen-Suizhou City Group′, which are defined by local development strategy in Hubei Province, are different from the above three urban groups.ZHENG Wensheng RUN Jiying ZHUO Rongrong JIANG Yupei WANG Xiaofang 2016Chinese Geographical Science2016,26,3:3
Mechanisms of obesity-and diabetes mellitus-related pancreatic carcinogenesis:a comprehensive and systematic显示文摘Research on obesity-and diabetes mellitus(DM)-related carcinogenesis has expanded exponentially since these two diseases were recognized as important risk factors for cancers. The growing interest in this area is prominently actuated by the increasing obesity and DM prevalence, which is partially responsible for the slight but constant increase in pancreatic cancer(PC)occurrence.PC is a highly lethal malignancy characterized by its insidious symptoms, delayed diagnosis, and devastating prognosis. The intricate process of obesity and DM promoting pancreatic carcinogenesis involves their local impact on the pancreas and concurrent wholebody systemic changes that are suitable for cancer initiation. The main mechanisms involved in this process include the excessive accumulation of various nutrients and metabolites promoting carcinogenesis directly while also aggravating mutagenic and carcinogenic metabolic disorders by affecting multiple pathways.Detrimental alterations in gastrointestinal and sex hormone levels and microbiome dysfunction further compromise immunometabolic regulation and contribute to the establishment of an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment(TME)for carcinogenesis, which can be exacerbated by several crucial pathophysiological processes and TME components, such as autophagy, endoplasmic reticulum stress, oxidative stress, epithelialmesenchymal transition, and exosome secretion. This review provides a comprehensive and critical analysis of the immunometabolic mechanisms of obesity-and DM-related pancreatic carcinogenesis and dissects how metabolic disorders impair anticancer immunity and influence pathophysiological processes to favor cancer initiation.Rexiati Ruze Jianlu Song Xinpeng Yin Yuan Chen Ruiyuan Xu Chengcheng Wang Yupei Zhao 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4:2
Dielectr ic barr ier discharge plasma-assisted modification of g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ag_(2)O/TiO_(2)-NRs composite enhanced photoelectrocatalytic activity显示文摘Dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)plasma applied as surface treatment technology was employed for the modification of Ag_(2)O and graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))powders.Subsequently,the pretreated powders were sequentially loaded onto TiO_(2)nanorods(TiO_(2)-NRs)via electro-deposition,followed by calcination at N_(2)atmosphere.The results indicated that at the optimal plasma discharge time of 5 min for modification of g-C_(3)N_(4)and Ag_(2)O,photocurrent density of ternary composite was 6 times to bare TiO_(2)-NRs under UV-visible light irradiation.Phenol was degraded by using DBD plasma-modified g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ag_(2)O/TiO_(2)-NRs electrode to analyze the photoelectrocatalytic performance. The removal rate of phenol for g-C_(3)N_(4)-5/Ag_(2)O-5/TiO_(2)-NRs electrode was about 3.07 times to that for TiO_(2)-NRs electrode.During active species scavengers'analysis, superoxide radicals and hydroxyl radicals were the main oxidation active species for pollutants degradation.A possible electron-hole separation and transfer mechanism of ternary composite with high photoelectrocatalytic performance was proposed.Yupei Long Chenchen Yuan Xiaomin Wang Dongyan Jin Hong Zhou Qiongyin Wang Chenyang Lu Yuqi Chen Yanqing Cong Qi Wang Yi Zhang 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,6:2
Effects of Electrode on Resistance Switching Properties of ZnMn_2O_4 Films Deposited by Magnetron Sputtering显示文摘ZnMn_2O_4 films for resistance random access memory(RRAM) were fabricated with different device structures by magnetron sputtering. The effects of electrode on I-V characteristics, resistance switching behavior, endurance and retention characteristics of ZnMn_2O_4 films were investigated. The ZnMn_2O_4 films, using p-Si and Pt as bottom electrode, exhibit bipolar resistive switching(BRS) behavior dominated by the space-charge-limited conduction(SCLC) mechanism in the high resistance state(HRS) and the filament conduction mechanism in the low resistance state(LRS), but the ZnMn_2O_4 films using n-Si as bottom electrodes exhibit both bipolar and unipolar resistive switching behaviors controlled by the Poole-Frenkel(P-F) conduction mechanism in both HRS and LRS. Ag/ZnMn_2O_4/p-Si device possesses the best endurance and retention characteristics, in which the number of stable repetition switching cycle is over 1000 and the retention time is longer than 106 seconds. However, the highest RHRS/R_(LRS) ratio of 104 and the lowest V_(ON) and V_(OFF) of 3.0 V have been observed in Ag/ZnMn_2O_4/Pt device. Though the Ag/ZnMn_2O_4/n-Si device also possesses the highest RHRS/R_(LRS) ratio of 104, but the highest values of V_(ON),V_(OFF), RHRS and R_(LRS), as well as the poor endurance and retention characteristics.王华 li zhida xu jiwen zhang yupei yang ling 2016Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2016,31,6:2
Stable isotope geochemical characteristics of dissolved inorganic carbon in the Jiulong River Estuary, Fujian Province, China显示文摘The isotopic composition of dissolved inorganic carbon(DIC) in estuarine environments has been studied for its significant role in determining the isotopic composition of inorganic/organic matter and its applications to the study of various natural processes. In this paper, based on the stable isotope geochemical characteristics of dissolved inorganic carbon in the Jiulong River Estuary, the following conclusions are drawn:(1) δ13CDIC values are mainly controlled by the mixing ratio of fresh water and sea water;(2) δ13Cphytoplankton values are linearly related to the δ13CDIC values;(3) δ13CPOM values for the Jiulong River Estuary are affected by anthropogenic pollution significantly; and(4) the comprehensive analysis of δ13Cphytoplankton, δ13CPOM and δ13CDIC shows that along with increasing salinity, the proportion of POM derived from the degradation of phytoplanktons gradually increases.LIU Qiming WU Qiong CAO Yinglan LIN Jinmei JIAO Yupei 2014Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2014,33,2:2

Versatile.design and synthesis of mesoporous sulfonic acid catalysts显示文摘Mesoporous sulfonic acid catalysts(MSAC) are widely used in acid-catalyzed reactions, including biomass conversions with plenty of polar solvents and precursors. The catalytic efficiency of MSAC is greatly affected by the microenvironment around the sulfonic acid sites. In this review, the progress on modification of microenvironment of MSAC is reviewed over the past decade. Hydrophobic modification allows MSAC prevent the adhesion of water molecules onto sulfonic acid sites, to abate the risk of reduced acid strength and catalytic efficiency. In comparison, hydrophilic properties can bring positive effect on acidcatalyzed reactions with the aid of hydrophilic interaction between polar functional groups on MSAC and hydrophilic groups of specific substrates. Amphiphilic MSAC with tunable wettability for specific substrates and solvents tend to improve the efficiency in certain reactions with mixed solvents or reactants of different polarity, especially for biphasic systems of immiscible liquids. Furthermore, much attention has been attracted on modification of surface to simulate the microenvironment of homogeneous solvents and enzyme biocatalysts in recent research. New trends of this field are also highlighted.Peng Wang Yupei Zhao Jian Liu 2018Science Bulletin2018,63,4:2
