| 1 | Single-cell RNA-seq highlights intra-tumoral heterogeneity and malignant progression in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma显示文摘Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the most common type of pancreatic cancer featured with high intra-tumoral heterogeneity and poor prognosis. To comprehensively delineate the PDAC intra-tumoral heterogeneity and the underlying mechanism for PDAC progression, we employed single-cell RNA-seq (scRNA-seq) to acquire the transcriptomic atlas of 57,530 individual pancreatic cells from primary PDAC tumors and control pancreases, and identified diverse malignant and stromal cell types, including two ductal subtypes with abnormal and malignant gene expression profiles respectively, in PDAC. We found that the heterogenous malignant subtype was composed of several subpopulations with differential proliferative and migratory potentials. Cell trajectory analysis revealed that components of multiple tumor-related pathways and transcription factors (TFs) were differentially expressed along PDAC progression. Furthermore, we found a subset of ductal cells with unique proliferative features were associated with an inactivation state in tumor-infiltrating T cells, providing novel markers for the prediction of antitumor immune response. | 2 | Polybenzimidazole functionalized electrolyte with Li-wetting and self-fluorination functionalities for practical Li metal batteries显示文摘Rough Li plating,low ionic conductivity,and low thermal stability of conventional electrolytes post-primary challenges for achieving reliable high-capacity rechargeable lithium batteries,for which lithiummetal is frequently proposed as themost promising anode material.Conventional low-polarity commercial polypropylene/polyethylene separators fail to support the application of high-energy-density Li anodes due to their rigid physicochemical properties and the high reactivity of Li metal,leading to fatal dendrite formation and vigorous exothermic reaction with electrolytes.Herein,we develop a Li-wetting,flame-retardant binary polymer electrolyte by functionalizing poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)separators with nonflammable polybenzimidazole(PBI)to build safe room-temperature solid-state electrolyte membranes.A dendrite-free LiFePO4 cell with the solid polymer electrolyte(SPE)delivers a discharge capacity of 127 mAh g^(-1) at 25℃ with a capacity retention of 87.5%after 500 cycles at 0.5℃(0.15 mA cm^(-2)).Phase-field simulations and density functional theory calculations demonstrate that the negatively charged benzimidazole chains of PBI own superior affinity to lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI),and shares overlapping electron density with Li anode,giving rise to accelerated Li^(+)conduction at room temperature and uniform Li electrodeposition at the electrolyte/Li metal interface.The SPE is also flame-retardant since heat-resistant polytetrafluoroethylene and a dense,heat-blocking graphitized carbon layer are formed in intense heat throughdehydrogenation/fluorination of PVDF under the catalysis of Lewis base imidazole rings and the decomposition of benzimidazole rings in PBI.No such fire-resistant mechanism is ever reported in conventional electrolytes. | Dongjiang Chen Yuanpeng Liu Chuan Xia Yupei Han Qingwei Sun Xuchang Wang Wei Chen Xian Jian Weiqiang Lv Jianyi Ma Weidong He | 2022 | InfoMat2022,4,5: | 1 |

| 4 | Recent progress in enzymatic functionalization of carbon-hydrogen bonds for the green synthesis of chemicals显示文摘Enzymatic reactions take place with high chemo-, regio-, and stereo-selectivity, appealing for the direct functionalization of abundant and inexpensive compounds with C-H bonds to make fine chemicals such as high-value intermediates and pharmaceuticals. This review summarizes recent progress in the enzymatic functionalization of C-H bonds with an emphasis on heme enzymes such as cytochrome P450 s, chloroperoxidase and unspecific peroxygenases. Specific examples are discussed to elucidate the applications of the molecular and process engineering approaches to overcome the challenges hindering enzymatic C-H functionalization. | 5 | Digestive tract reconstruction in pancreaticoduodenectomy in University Hospitals of China: a national questionnaire survey显示文摘Background Pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD)has been widely applied in general hospitals in China;however,there is still a lack of unified standards for each surgical technique and procedure.This survey is intended to investigate the current status of digestive tract reconstruction after PD in university hospitals in China.Method A cross-sectional survey was conducted among the members of the Young Elite Pancreatic Surgery Club of China by using the Questionnaire for Digestive Tract Reconstruction after Pancreaticoduodenectomy.The questionnaire was disseminated and collected by point-to-point communication via WeChat public platforms.Results A total of 73 valid questionnaires were returned from 65 university hospitals in 28 provincial divisions of China's Mainland.The respondents who performed PD surgery with an annual volume of over 100 cases accounted for 63%.Generally,laparoscopic PD was performed less often than open PD.Child and Whipple reconstructions accounted for 70%and 26%,respectively.The sequence of pancreatoenteric,biliary-enteric,and gastrointestinal reconstruction accounted for 84%of cases.In pancreatoenteric anastomosis,double-layer anastomosis is the most commonly employed type,accounting for approximately 67%,while single-layer anastomosis accounts for 30%.Of the double-layer anastomoses,duct-to-mucosa/dunking(94%/4%)PJ was performed with duct-mucosa using the Blumgart method(39%)and Cattel-Warren(29%),with continuous/interrupted sutures in the inner layer(69%/31%)and continuous/interrupted sutures in the outer layer(53%/23%).In single-layer anastomosis,continuous/interrupted sutures accounted for 41%/45%.In hepatojejunostomy,single-layer/double-layer suture accounted for 79%/4%,and continuous/interrupted suture accounted for 75%/9%.Forty-six percent of the responding units had not applied double-layer biliary-intestinal anastomosis in the last 3 years,75%of the responding surgeons chose the anastomosis method according to bile duct diameter,with absorbable/non-absorbable suture accounting for 86%/12%.PD/pylorus-preserving PD accounted for 79%/11%of GJ cases,the distance between GJ and HJ<30 cm,30-50 cm and>50 cm were 11%,75%,and 14%,respectively.Antecolic/retrocolic GJ accounted for 71%/23%of cases.Twenty-two percent of GJ cases employed Braun anastomosis,while 55%and 19%of GJ cases used linear cutting staplers/tube-type staplers,respectively;60%/14%were reinforced/not reinforced via manual suturing after stapler anastomosis.Manual anastomosis in GJ surgery employed absorbable/non-absorbable sutures(91%/9%).Significant differences in reconstruction techniques were detected between different volumes of PD procedures(<100/year and>100/year),regions with different economic development levels,and between north and south China.Conclusion Digestive tract reconstruction following PD exists heterogeneity in Chinese university hospitals.Corresponding prospective clinical studies are needed to determine the consensus on pancreatic surgery that meets the clinical reality in China. | Jishu Wei Qiang Xu Yuhua Zhang Jiabin Jin Xiaodong Tian Qiaofei Liu Zipeng Lu Zheng Wang Shanmiao Gou Song Gao Xianlin Han Yefei Rong Niandong Ji Ye Lin Guolin Li Shi Chen Feng Cao Hua Chen Wenming Wu Yupei Zhao the Young Elite Pancreatic Surgery Club of China | 2022 | Journal of Pancreatology2022,5,3: | 0 |
| 6 | Layered Potassium Titanium Niobate/Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanocomposite as a Potassium‑Ion Battery Anode显示文摘With graphite currently leading as the most viable anode for potassium-ion batteries(KIBs),other materials have been left relatively underexamined.Transition metal oxides are among these,with many positive attributes such as synthetic maturity,longterm cycling stability and fast redox kinetics.Therefore,to address this research deficiency we report herein a layered potassium titanium niobate KTiNbO5(KTNO)and its rGO nanocomposite(KTNO/rGO)synthesised via solvothermal methods as a high-performance anode for KIBs.Through effective distribution across the electrically conductive rGO,the electrochemical performance of the KTNO nanoparticles was enhanced.The potassium storage performance of the KTNO/rGO was demonstrated by its first charge capacity of 128.1 mAh g^(−1) and reversible capacity of 97.5 mAh g^(−1) after 500 cycles at 20 mA g^(−1),retaining 76.1%of the initial capacity,with an exceptional rate performance of 54.2 mAh g^(−1)at 1 A g^(−1).Furthermore,to investigate the attributes of KTNO in-situ XRD was performed,indicating a low-strain material.Ex-situ X-ray photoelectron spectra further investigated the mechanism of charge storage,with the titanium showing greater redox reversibility than the niobium.This work suggests this lowstrain nature is a highly advantageous property and well worth regarding KTNO as a promising anode for future high-performance KIBs. | Charlie A.F.Nason Ajay Piriya Vijaya Kumar Saroja Yi Lu Runzhe Wei Yupei Han Yang Xu | 2024 | Nano-Micro Letters2024,16,1: | 0 |
