Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. Therefore the observation of Insight-HXMT constitutes an important chapter in the full context of multi-wavelength and multi-messenger observation of this historical GW event. | TiPei Li ShaoLin Xiong ShuangNan Zhang FangJun Lu LiMing Song XueLei Cao Zhi Chang Gang Chen Li Chen TianXiang Chen Yong Chen YiBao Chen YuPeng Chen Wei Cui WeiWei Cui JingKang Deng YongWei Dong YuanYuan Du MinXue Fu GuanHua Gao He Gao Min Gao MingYu Ge YuDong Gu Ju Guan ChengCheng Guo DaWei Han Wei Hu Yue Huang Jia Huo ShuMei Jia LuHua Jiang WeiChun Jiang Jing Jin YongJie Jin Bing Li ChengKui Li Gang Li MaoShun Li Wei Li Xian Li XiaoBo Li XuFang Li YanGuo Li ZiJian Li ZhengWei Li XiaoHua Liang JinYuan Liao CongZhan Liu GuoQing Liu HongWei Liu ShaoZhen Liu XiaoJing Liu Yuan Liu YiNong Liu Bo Lu XueFeng Lu Tao Luo Xiang Ma Bin Meng Yi Nang JianYin Nie Ge OU JinLu Qu Na Sai Liang Sun Yin Tan Lian Tao WenHui Tao YouLi Tuo GuoFeng Wang HuanYu Wang Juan Wang WenShuai Wang YuSa Wang XiangYang Wen BoBing WU Mei Wu GuangCheng Xiao He Xu YuPeng Xu LinLi Yan JiaWei Yang Sheng Yang YanJi Yang AiMei Zhang ChunLei Zhang ChengMo Zhang Fan Zhang HongMei Zhang Juan Zhang Qiang Zhang Shu Zhang Tong Zhang Wei Zhang WanChang Zhang WenZhao Zhang Yi Zhang Yue Zhang YiFei Zhang YongJie Zhang Zhao Zhang ZiLiang Zhang HaiSheng Zhao JianLing Zhao XiaoFan Zhao ShiJie Zheng Yue Zhu YuXuan Zhu ChangLin Zou | 2018 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2018,61,3: | 12

Temporal patterns of energy intake and cognitive function and its decline:a community-based cohort study in China显示文摘Dear Editor,Worldwide, around 55 million people had prevalent dementia in 2019,which is expected to triple by 2050,especially in low-and middle-income countries[1].Lacking timely diagnosis and limited effective treatment for dementia make identifying risk factors crucial for its early prevention, among which dietary factors have received increasing attention[1].Recently,accumulating evidence from population-based studies has linked the temporal patterns of energy intake(TPEI),usually defined as the temporal distribution of energy intake during a day,to mortality and metabolic diseases[2],such as diabetes and hypertension. In vitro and in vivo studies also revealed that meal timing could drive metabolic alterations and circadian regulation[3],and disrupted meal timing altered the peripheral circadian clocks in the hippocampus and consequently affected cognitive function[4]. | Hui Chen Yang Tao Min-Dian Li Yuxuan Gu Jiaxi Yang You Wu Dongmei Yu Changzheng Yuan | 2022 | Life Metabolism2022,1,1: | 0
Boosting overall saline water splitting by constructing a strain-engineered high-entropy electrocatalyst显示文摘High-entropy materials(HEMs),which are newly manufactured compounds that contain five or more metal cations, can be a platform with desired properties, including improved electrocatalytic performance owing to the inherent complexity. Here,a strain engineering methodology is proposed to design transition-metal-based HEM by Li manipulation(LiTM)with tunable lattice strain, thus tailoring the electronic structure and boosting electrocatalytic performance. As confirmed by the experiments and calculation results, tensile strain in the LiTM after Li manipulation can optimize the d-band center and increase the electrical conductivity.Accordingly, the asprepared LiTM-25 demonstrates optimized oxygen evolution reaction and hydrogen evolution reaction activity in alkaline saline water, requiring ultralow overpotentials of 265 and 42 mV at 10 mA cm−2,respectively.More strikingly,LiTM-25 retains 94.6%activity after 80 h of a durability test when assembled as an anion-exchange membrane water electrolyzer. Finally,in order to show the general efficacy of strain engineering,we incorporate Li into electrocatalysts with higher entropies as well. | Ateer Bao Yaohang Gu Yuxuan Zhang Bowen Zhang Juncheng Wu Bo Ni Xiaoyan Zhang Haijun Pan Xiwei Qi | 2024 | Carbon Energy2024,6,2: | 0
COP26:Progress,Challenges,and Outlook显示文摘The 26th Conference of the Parties(COP26)to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC)was held in Glasgow a year later than scheduled, with expected outcomes achieved under a post-pandemic background.Based on the Issue-Actor-Mechanism Framework, this paper systematically evaluates the outcomes achieved at COP26 and analyzes the tendency of post-COP26 climate negotiations.Overall, with the concerted efforts of all parties,COP26 has achieved a balanced and inclusive package of outcomes and concluded six years of negotiations on the Paris Rulebook. It is fair to say that COP26 is another milestone in climate governance following the implementation of the Paris Agreement.Meanwhile, the Glasgow Climate Pact has cemented the consensus on a global commitment to accelerating climate action over the next decade and reached a breakthrough consensus on reducing coal, controlling methane, and halting deforestation. In the post-COP26 era,we still need to take concrete actions to implement the outcomes of the Paris Agreement and the Glasgow Climate Pact, innovate ways to speed up CO_(2) emissions reduction, and continue to strive for breakthroughs in important issues such as finance, technology, adaptation, and collaboration. In addition to avoiding the escalation of international conflicts,we need to collectively and properly handle the relationship between energy security, carbon reduction, and development and facilitate the efforts of countries to achieve their Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs),including climate-related goals.China will continue to maintain the existing multilateral mechanisms and processes for climate governance, unremittingly take concrete actions to address climate change, promote a domestic comprehensive green transition and global cooperation on carbon neutrality, and contribute constructively to global climate governance. | Yi WANG Yuxuan LIU Baihe GU | 2022 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,8: | 0
Planning and Real-time Pricing of EV Charging Stations Considering Social Welfare and Profitability Balance显示文摘This paper presents a planning and real-time pricing approach for EV charging stations(CSs).The approach takes the form of a bi-level model to fully consider the interest of both the government and EV charging station operators in the planning process. From the perspective of maximizing social welfare, the government acts as the decision-maker of the upper level that optimizes the charging price matrix, and uses it as a transfer variable to indirectly influence the decisions of the lower level operators. Then each operator at the lower level determines their scale according to the goal of maximizing their own revenue, and feeds the scale matrix back to the upper level.A Logit model is applied to predict the drivers’preference when selecting a CS.Furthermore,an improved particle swarm optimization(PSO)with the utilization of a penalty function is introduced to solve the nonlinear nonconvex bi-level model. The paper applies the proposed Bi-level planning model to a singlecenter small/medium-sized city with three scenarios to evaluate its performance, including the equipment utilization rate, payback period, traffic attraction ability, etc. The result verifies that the model performs very well in typical CS distribution scenarios with a reasonable station payback period(average 6.5 years),and relatively high equipment utilization rate,44.32%. | Suyang Zhou Yuxuan Zhuang Zhi Wu Wei Gu Peng Yu Jinqiao Du Xiner Luo | 2021 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,6: | 0
TSNAdb v2.0:The Updated Version of Tumor-specific Neoantigen Database显示文摘In recent years, neoantigens have been recognized as ideal targets for tumor immunotherapy. With the development of neoantigen-based tumor immunotherapy, comprehensive neoantigen databases are urgently needed to meet the growing demand for clinical studies. We have built the tumor-specific neoantigen database(TSNAdb)previously, which has attracted much attention. In this study,we provide TSNAdb v2.0,an updated version of the TSNAdb.TSNAdb v2.0 offers several new features,including(1)adopting more stringent criteria for neoantigen identification,(2)providing predicted neoantigens derived from three types of somatic mutations,and(3)collecting experimentally validated neoantigens and dividing them according to the experimental level. | Jingcheng Wu Wenfan Chen Yuxuan Zhou Ying Chi Xiansheng Hua Jian Wu Xun Gu Shuqing Chen Zhan Zhou | 2023 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,2: | 0
Celecoxib enhances the response of tumor cells to cisplatin through upregulating PUMA in non–small cell lung cancer carrying wild-type p53显示文摘Celecoxib,a cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor, can enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy;however, its effect seems inconsistent. In this study,we investigated whether celecoxib would increase the antiproliferative effects of cisplatin in human lung cancer cells. Our data demonstrated the synergistic effects of celecoxib with cisplatin in wild-type p53 cells and their antagonistic effects inmutated or deleted p53 cells.Combination indices of 0.82 to 0.93 reflected a synergistic effect between celecoxib and cisplatin in lung cancer cells with wild-type p53.Combination indices of 1.63 to 3.00 reflected antagonism between celecoxib and cisplatin in lung cancer cells with mutated or deleted p53.Compared with that in cells with mutated or deleted p53,apoptosis significantly increased with the addition of celecoxib and cisplatin in wild-type p53 cells(P<0.05).Moreover,the results in vivo were similar to those in vitro:celecoxib combinedwith cisplatin slowed tumor growth in wild-type p53 groups and not in mutated or deleted p53 groups. In addition, celecoxib promoted p53 translocation into the nucleus and upregulated active p53 expression in wild-type p53 cells.Celecoxib combined with cisplatin upregulated PUMA(PUMA is a downstream gene of p53)after active p53 increased in wild-type p53 cells. In summary, the combination of celecoxib and cisplatin demonstrates clear synergistic effects in wild-type p53 cells and antagonistic effects inmutated or deleted p53 cells. The synergistic effect was achieved by apoptosis, induced by upregulating PUMA.Our results will provide a new treatment strategy for patients carrying wild-type p53,insensitive to cisplatin. | Yuxuan Xiao Ziyu Wang Meng Gu Jinjing Tan Weiying Li | 2024 | Oncology and Translational Medicine2024,10,2: | 0
Engineering SIRPα cellular membrane-based nanovesicles for combination immunotherapy显示文摘Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)have revolutionized cancer treatment for their unprecedented clinical efficacy.Signal regulatory proteinα(SIRPα)is a phagocytic checkpoint expressed on macrophages, dendritic cells, other myeloid cells.Cancer cells inhibit macrophage phagocytosis through the interaction of the CD47-SIRPαaxis.Disrupting the CD47-SIRPαaxis has therefore been a promising strategy in restoring the immune attack against cancer.Herein,we engineered cellular membrane nanovesicles(NVs)presenting SIRPαreceptors for phagocytosis checkpoint blockade to augment the antitumor immune response.Furthermore, zebularine(Zeb),an inhibitor of DNA methyltransferase, was encapsulated into SIRPαNVs to reprogram the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment together with blockade of phagocytosis checkpoint. It is demonstrated that SIRPα@Zeb can improve tumor immunogenicity, the polarization of tumor-associated macrophages to the M1 phenotype, increase the infiltration of CD8^(+)T lymphocytes in tumors. The robust antitumor immune response induced by SIRPα@Zeb significantly suppressed tumor growth and extended mice-bearing melanoma xenograft survival. | Mingyue Wang Yanfang Wang Yeteng Mu Fuxu Yang Zebin Yang Yuxuan Liu Lili Huang Shi Liu Xingang Guan Zhigang Xie Zhen Gu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 0
A Deep Learning-Based Crowd Counting Method and System Implementation on Neural Processing Unit Platform显示文摘In this paper, a deep learning-based method is proposed for crowdcountingproblems. Specifically, by utilizing the convolution kernel densitymap, the ground truth is generated dynamically to enhance the featureextractingability of the generator model. Meanwhile, the “cross stage partial”module is integrated into congested scene recognition network (CSRNet) toobtain a lightweight network model. In addition, to compensate for the accuracydrop owing to the lightweight model, we take advantage of “structuredknowledge transfer” to train the model in an end-to-end manner. It aimsto accelerate the fitting speed and enhance the learning ability of the studentmodel. The crowd-counting system solution for edge computing is alsoproposed and implemented on an embedded device equipped with a neuralprocessing unit. Simulations demonstrate the performance improvement ofthe proposed solution in terms of model size, processing speed and accuracy. The performance on the Venice dataset shows that the mean absolute error(MAE) and the root mean squared error (RMSE) of our model drop by32.63% and 39.18% compared with CSRNet. Meanwhile, the performance onthe ShanghaiTech PartB dataset reveals that the MAE and the RMSE of ourmodel are close to those of CSRNet. Therefore, we provide a novel embeddedplatform system scheme for public safety pre-warning applications. | Yuxuan Gu Meng Wu Qian Wang Siguang Chen Lijun Yang | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,4: | 0
