1Multifunctional Flexible Humidity Sensor Systems Towards Noncontact Wearable Electronics显示文摘In the past decade,the global industry and research attentions on intelligent skin-like electronics have boosted their applications in diverse fields including human healthcare,Internet of Things,human–machine interfaces,artificial intelligence and soft robotics.Among them,flexible humidity sensors play a vital role in noncontact measurements relying on the unique property of rapid response to humidity change.This work presents an overview of recent advances in flexible humidity sensors using various active functional materials for contactless monitoring.Four categories of humidity sensors are highlighted based on resistive,capacitive,impedance-type and voltage-type working mechanisms.Furthermore,typical strategies including chemical doping,structural design and Joule heating are introduced to enhance the performance of humidity sensors.Drawing on the noncontact perception capability,human/plant healthcare management,human-machine interactions as well as integrated humidity sensor-based feedback systems are presented.The burgeoning innovations in this research field will benefit human society,especially during the COVID-19 epidemic,where cross-infection should be averted and contactless sensation is highly desired.Yuyao Lu Geng Yang Yajing Shen Huayong Yang Kaichen Xu 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,9:5

3Enhancing tylosin production by combinatorial overexpression of efflux,SAM biosynthesis,and regulatory genes in hyperproducing Streptomyces xinghaiensis strain显示文摘Tylosin is a 16-membered macrolide antibiotic widely used in veterinary medicine to control infections caused by Gram-positive pathogens and mycoplasmas.To improve the fermentation titer of tylosin in the hyperproducing Streptomyces xinghaiensis strain TL01,we sequenced its whole genome and identified the biosynthetic gene cluster therein.Overexpression of the tylosin efflux gene tlrC,the cluster-situated S-adenosyl methionine(SAM)synthetase gene metK_(cs),the SAM biosynthetic genes adoK_(cs)-metFcs,or the pathway-specific activator gene tylR enhanced tylosin production by 18%,12%,11%,and 11%in the respective engineered strains TLPH08-2,TLPH09,TLPH10,and TLPH12.Co-overexpression of metK_(cs)and adoK_(cs)-metFcs as two transcripts increased tylosin production by 22%in the resultant strain TLPH11 compared to that in TL01.Furthermore,combinational overexpression of tlrC,metK_(cs),adoK_(cs)-metFcs,and tylR as four transcripts increased tylosin production by 23%(10.93g/L)in the resultant strain TLPH17 compared to that in TL01.However,a negligible additive effect was displayed upon combinational overexpression in TLPH17 as suggested by the limited increment of fermentation titer compared to that in TLPH08-2.Transcription analyses indicated that the expression of tlrC and three SAM biosynthetic genes in TLPH17 was considerably lower than that of TLPH08-2 and TLPH11.Based on this observation,the five genes were rearranged into one or two operons to coordinate their overexpression,yielding two engineered strains TLPH23 and TLPH24,and leading to further enhancement of tylosin production over TLPH17.In particular,the production of TLPH23 reached 11.35 g/L.These findings indicated that the combinatorial strategy is a promising approach for enhancing tylosin production in high-yielding industrial strains.Penghui Dai Yuyao Qin Luyuan Li Haidi Li Lihuo Lv Danying Xu Yuqing Song Tingting Huang Shuangjun Lin Zixin Deng Meifeng Tao 2023Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2023,8,3:0
4Translocation of IGF-1R in endoplasmic reticulum enhances SERCA2 activity to trigger Ca_(ER)^(2+)perturbation in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘The well-known insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF1)/IGF-1 receptor(IGF-1R)signaling pathway is overexpressed in many tumors,and is thus an attractive target for cancer treatment.However,results have often been disappointing due to crosstalk with other signals.Here,we report that IGF-1R signaling stimulates the growth of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)cells through the translocation of IGF-1R into the ER to enhance sarco-endoplasmic reticulum calcium ATPase 2(SERCA2)activity.In response to ligand binding,IGF-1Rβis translocated into the ER byβ-arrestin2(β-arr2).Mass spectrometry analysis identified SERCA2 as a target of ER IGF-1Rβ.SERCA2 activity is heavily dependent on the increase in ER IGF-1Rβlevels.ER IGF-1Rβphosphorylates SERCA2 on Tyr^(990)to enhance its activity.Mutation of SERCA2-Tyr^(990)disrupted the interaction of ER IGF-1Rβwith SERCA2,and therefore ER IGF-1Rβfailed to promote SERCA2 activity.The enhancement of SERCA2 activity triggered Ca_(ER)^(2+)perturbation,leading to an increase in autophagy.Thapsigargin blocked the interaction between SERCA2and ER IGF-1Rβand therefore SERCA2 activity,resulting in inhibition of HCC growth.In conclusion,the translocation of IGF-1R into the ER triggers Ca_(ER)^(2+)perturbation by enhancing SERCA2 activity through phosphorylating Tyr^(990)in HCC.Yanan Li Keqin Li Ting Pan Qiaobo Xie Yuyao Cheng Xinfeng Wu Rui Xu Xiaohui Liu Li Liu Jiangming Gao Wenmin Yuan Xianjun Qu Shuxiang Cui 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,9:0

7Oscillation-specific nodal alterations in early to middle stages Parkinson’s disease显示文摘Background:Different oscillations of brain networks could carry different dimensions of brain integration.We aimed to investigate oscillation-specific nodal alterations in patients with Parkinson’s disease(PD)across early stage to middle stage by using graph theory-based analysis.Methods:Eighty-eight PD patients including 39 PD patients in the early stage(EPD)and 49 patients in the middle stage(MPD)and 36 controls were recruited in the present study.Graph theory-based network analyses from three oscillation frequencies(slow-5:0.01–0.027 Hz;slow-4:0.027–0.073 Hz;slow-3:0.073–0.198 Hz)were analyzed.Nodal metrics(e.g.nodal degree centrality,betweenness centrality and nodal efficiency)were calculated.Results:Our results showed that(1)a divergent effect of oscillation frequencies on nodal metrics,especially on nodal degree centrality and nodal efficiency,that the anteroventral neocortex and subcortex had high nodal metrics within low oscillation frequencies while the posterolateral neocortex had high values within the relative high oscillation frequency was observed,which visually showed that network was perturbed in PD;(2)PD patients in early stage relatively preserved nodal properties while MPD patients showed widespread abnormalities,which was consistently detected within all three oscillation frequencies;(3)the involvement of basal ganglia could be specifically observed within slow-5 oscillation frequency in MPD patients;(4)logistic regression and receiver operating characteristic curve analyses demonstrated that some of those oscillation-specific nodal alterations had the ability to well discriminate PD patients from controls or MPD from EPD patients at the individual level;(5)occipital disruption within high frequency(slow-3)made a significant influence on motor impairment which was dominated by akinesia and rigidity.Conclusions:Coupling various oscillations could provide potentially useful information for large-scale network and progressive oscillation-specific nodal alterations were observed in PD patients across early to middle stages.Xiaojun Guan Tao Guo Qiaoling Zeng Jiaqiu Wang Cheng Zhou Chunlei Liu Hongjiang Wei Yuyao Zhang Min Xuan Quanquan Gu Xiaojun Xu Peiyu Huang Jiali Pu Baorong Zhang Min-Ming Zhang 2019Translational Neurodegeneration2019,8,1:0
8High-contrast and real-time visualization of membrane proteins in live cells with malachite green-based fluorogenic probes显示文摘Imaging dynamics of membrane proteins of live cells in a wash-free and real-time manner has been a challenging task. Herein, we report unprecedented applications of malachite green(MG), an organic dye widely used in pigment industry, as a switchable fluorophore to monitor membrane enzymes or noncatalytic proteins in live cells. Conformationally flexible MG is non-fluorescent in aqueous solution, yet covalent binding with endogenous proteins of cells significantly enhances its fluorescence at 670 nm by restricting flexibility of dye. Integrating a phosphate-caged quinone methide precursor with MG yielded a covalent labeling fluorogenic probe, allowing real-time imaging of membrane alkaline phosphatase(ALP,a model catalytic protein) activity in live cells with over 100-fold enhancement of fluorescence intensity.Moreover, MG is also applicable to image non-catalytic protein by conjugation with protein-specific ligand. 12Multi-pyramid image spatial structure based on coarse-to-fine pyramid and scale space显示文摘Coarse-to-fine pyramid and scale space are two important image structures in the realm of image matching.However,the advantage of coarse-to-fine pyramid is neglected as the pyramid structure is usually constructed with the down sampling method in scale space.In addition,the importance of each lattice is different for one single image.Based on the analyses above,the new multi-pyramid(M-P)image spatial structure is constructed.First,coarse-to-fine pyramid is constructed by partitioning the original image into increasingly finer lattices,and the number of interest points is also adopted to be each lattice’s non-normalized weight on each pyramid level.Second,the scale space of each lattice on each pyramid level is generated with the classic Gaussian kernel.Third,the descriptors of each lattice are generated by regarding the stability of scale space as the description of image.Moreover,the parallel version of M-P algorithm is also presented to accelerate the speed of computation.Finally,the comprehensive experimental results reveal that our multi-pyramid structure which is constructed by the combination of coarse-to-fine spatial pyramid and scale space can generate more effective features,compared with the other related methods.Jiucheng Xu Nan Wang Yuyao Wang 2018CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2018,3,4:0

14Optimal Scheduling of Distribution Network Incorporating Topology Reconfiguration,Battery Energy System and Load Response显示文摘Distributed generation(DG)is becoming increasingly important due to the serious environmental pollution caused by conventional fossil-energy-based generation and the depletion of non-renewable energy.As the flexible resources in the active distribution network(ADN),battery energy system(BES)and responsive load(RL)are all able to assist renewable DG integration in day-ahead dispatch.In addition,the security and economic level can be significantly improved by adjusting network topology.Therefore,in this paper,a coordinated day-ahead scheduling method incorporating topology reconfiguration,BES optimization and load response is presented to minimize the total day-ahead operational costs in the ADN.Linearized current injection models are presented for renewable DG,RL and BES based on the linear power flow model,and an extensible linear switching operations calculation(ELSOC)method is proposed to address the network reconfiguration.Thus,a mixed integer linear programming(MILP)model is proposed for optimal coordinated operation of an ADN.The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method are demonstrated by simulations on a modified test system.In addition,the combined scenario and Monte-Carlo method is used to handle the uncertainties of loads and DGs,and the results of different uncertainties can further verify the feasibility of the proposed model.Xuebo Qiao Yuyao Luo Juanxia Xiao Yong Li Li Jiang Xia Shao Jiazhu Xu Yi Tan Yijia Cao 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,3:0
15Laser direct writing of Ga_(2)O_(3)/liquid metal-based flexible humidity sensors显示文摘Flexible and wearable humidity sensors play a vital role in daily point-of-care diagnosis and noncontact human-machine interactions.However,achieving a facile and high-speed fabrication approach to realizing flexible humidity sensors remains a challenge.In this work,a wearable capacitive-type Ga_(2)O_(3)/liquid metal-based humidity sensor is demonstrated by a one-step laser direct writing technique.Owing to the photothermal effect of laser,the Ga_(2)O_(3)-wrapped liquid metal particles can be selectively sintered and converted from insulative to conductive traces with a resistivity of 0.19Ω·cm,while the untreated regions serve as active sensing layers in response to moisture changes.Under 95%relative humidity,the humidity sensor displays a highly stable performance along with rapid response and recover time.Utilizing these superior properties,the Ga_(2)O_(3)/liquid metal-based humidity sensor is able to monitor human respiration rate,as well as skin moisture of the palm under different physiological states for healthcare monitoring.Songya Cui Yuyao Lu Depeng Kong Huayu Luo Liang Peng Geng Yang Huayong Yang Kaichen Xu 2023Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,7:0
