1Single-Atom Catalysts for Electrochemical Hydrogen Evolution Reaction: Recent Advances and Future Perspectives显示文摘Hydrogen,a renewable and outstanding energy carrier with zero carbon dioxide emission,is regarded as the best alternative to fossil fuels.The most preferred route to large-scale production of hydrogen is by water electrolysis from the intermittent sources(e.g.,wind,solar,hydro,and tidal energy).However,the efficiency of water electrolysis is very much dependent on the activity of electrocatalysts.Thus,designing high-effective,stable,and cheap materials for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)could have a substantial impact on renewable energy technologies.Recently,single-atom catalysts(SACs)have emerged as a new frontier in catalysis science,because SACs have maximum atom-utilization efficiency and excellent catalytic reaction activity.Various synthesis methods and analytical techniques have been adopted to prepare and characterize these SACs.In this review,we discuss recent progress on SACs synthesis,characterization methods,and their catalytic applications.Particularly,we highlight their unique electrochemical characteristics toward HER.Finally,the current key challenges in SACs for HER are pointed out and some potential directions are proposed as well.Zonghua Pu Ibrahim Saana Amiinu Ruilin Cheng Pengyan Wang Chengtian Zhang Shichun Mu Weiyue Zhao Fengmei Su Gaixia Zhang Shijun Liao Shuhui Sun 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,2:10
2Transdifferentiation of tumor infiltrating innate lymphoid cells during progression of colorectal cancer显示文摘Innate lymphoid cells(ILCs)reside in mucosal surfaces to potentiate immune responses,sustain mucosal integrity and maintain tissue homeostasis.However,how tumor infiltrating ILCs modulate tumor development and progression is unclear.Here we profiled tumor infiltrating ILCs during colorectal cancer(CRC)progression by single-cell RNA sequencing.We identified six clusters of tumor infiltrating ILCs with unique features.ILC1s expressed inhibitory receptors and underwent inhibitory functional conversion at the late stage of CRC.ILC2s were classified into three subsets(called ILC2-A,-B,-C),of which ILC2-C subset could facilitate tumor progression.HS3ST1 and PD1 were highly expressed in ILC2s of late stage CRC tumors and deficiency of HS3ST1 or PD1 in ILC2s suppressed tumor growth.Moreover,ILC3s transdifferentiated into ILCregs during CRC progression and ILCregs promoted tumor growth.Of note,TGF-βsignaling initiated the conversion of ILC3s to ILCregs and blockade of TGF-βsignaling could disrupt the ILCreg transdifferentiation and inhibited tumor growth.Thus,intervention of ILC conversions might be a potential strategy for CRC immunotherapy.Shuo Wang Yuan Qu Pengyan Xia Yi Chen Xiaoxiao Zhu Jing Zhang Guan Wang Yong Tian Jianming Ying Zusen Fan 2020Cell Research2020,30,7:9
3Effect of microstructure of Au80Sn20 solder on the thermal resistance TO56 packaged GaN-based laser diodes显示文摘Au80Sn20 alloy is a widely used solder for laser diode packaging.In this paper,the thermal resistance of Ga N-based blue laser diodes packaged in TO56 cans were measured by the forward voltage method.The microstructures of Au80Sn20 solder were then investigated to understand the reason for the difference in thermal resistance.It was found that the microstructure with a higher content of Au-rich phase in the center of the solder and a lower content of(Au,Ni)Sn phase at the interface of the solder/heat sink resulted in lower thermal resistance.This is attributed to the lower thermal resistance of Au-rich phase and higher thermal resistance of(Au,Ni)Sn phase.Hao Lin Deyao Li Liqun Zhang Pengyan Wen Shuming Zhang Jianping Liu Hui Yang 2020Journal of Semiconductors2020,41,10:4
4Accelerated generation of oligodendrocyte progenitor cells from human induced pluripotent stem cells by forced expression of Sox10 and Olig2显示文摘Oligodendrocyte progenitor cells(OPCs) hold great promise for treatment of dysmyelinating disorders, such as multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy. Recent studies on generation of human OPCs mainly use human embryonic stem cells(hESCs) or neural stem cells(NSCs) as starter cell sources for the differentiation process. However, NSCs are restricted in availability and the present method for generation of oligodendrocytes(OLs) from ESCs often requires a lengthy period of time. Here, we demonstrated a protocol to efficiently derive OPCs from human induced pluripotent stem cells(hiPSCs) by forced expression of two transcription factors(2TFs), Sox10 and Olig2. With this method, PDGFRα+ OPCs can be obtained in 14 days and O4^+ OPCs in 56 days.Furthermore, OPCs may be able to differentiate to mature OLs that could ensheath axons when co-cultured with rat cortical neurons. 5Serial nuclear transfer improves the development of interspecies reconstructed giant panda (Aluropoda melanoleucd) embryos显示文摘Interspecies somatic nuclear transfer (NT) may provide a new approach for preservation of the endangered rare species. Previous interspecies cloning studies have shown that a nucleus from a quiescent somatic cell supports early development of reconstructed embryos in the ooplasm from another species. In this study, we transferred nonqui-escent somatic cells from a giant panda into the perivitelline space of the enucleated rabbit oocytes. After electrofusion (at the rate of 71.6%) and electrical activation, 4.2% of the panda-rabbit reconstructed embryos developed to blastocyst in vitro. For improving the development rate of reconstructed embryos, we used serial NT in this study, i.e. blas-tomeres from reconstructed morulae were transferred into the perivitelline space of the enucleated rabbit oocytes. The fusion rates in the groups of serial I, serial Ⅱ and serial Ⅲ were 79.5%, 84.1% and 78.0%, respectively, having no difference with that of somatic group. 7Evaluation of carbon emissions associated with land use and cover change in Zhengzhou City of China显示文摘Studies on carbon emissions associated with land use and cover change(LUCC)are key to understanding the impact of human activities on regional sustainability.In this study,we analyzed the temporal and spatial changes in carbon emissions associated with LUCC for production,living,and ecological spaces in Zhengzhou City of China.Landsat remote sensing images were used to classify the land use and land cover(LULC)types in Zhengzhou City in 1988,2001,2009,and 2015.Carbon emissions associated with LUCC were evaluated using a spatial gradient model and the niche mechanism.It was found that during 1988-2015,carbon emissions associated with LUCC in Zhengzhou City increased by 17.1×10^(6) t,while the carbon sink resulted from cultivated land,forests,water bodies,and unused land decreased significantly.Most of the increase in carbon emissions associated with LUCC occurred in the center of the city.The peak carbon emissions were located in the northeastern,southeastern,northwestern,and southwestern regions of Zhengzhou City,and carbon emissions varied considerably in the different spatial gradient rings over time.Among the three spaces,carbon emissions associated with LUCC were mainly affected by the living space.The population size and population urbanization rate were negatively correlated with the ecological space and positively correlated with the production and living spaces.Our results highlight that Zhengzhou City should take the new urbanization path of urban transformation development and ecological civilization construction to ensure the realization of the promised carbon emission reduction targets.HE Jianjian ZHANG Pengyan 2022Regional Sustainability2022,3,1:1
8A partial information linear-quadratic optimal control problem of backward stochastic differential equation with its applications显示文摘In this paper,we investigate a kind of partial information linear-quadratic optimal control problem driven by a backward stochastic differential equation,where the state equation and the cost functional contain diffusion terms.Using maximum principle,we derive the corresponding Hamiltonian system,which is a conditional mean-field forward-backward stochastic differential equation.By the backward separation approach and the filtering technique,we get two Riccati equations,and a backward and a forward optimal filtering equations.Then a feedback form of optimal control is obtained.We also extend the control problem to the case of mean-field backward stochastic differential equation under partial information.A corresponding feedback form of optimal control is also obtained.Pengyan HUANG Guangchen WANG Huanjun ZHANG 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,9:1
9Hydrogen bonding interactions between ethylene glycol and water:density,excess molar volume,and spectral study显示文摘Studies of the density and the excess molar volume of ethylene glycol (EG)-water mixtures were carried out to illustrate the hydrogen bonding interactions of EG with water at different temperatures. The re-sults suggest that a likely complex of 3 ethylene glycol molecules bonding with 4 water molecules in an ethylene glycol-water mixture (EGW) is formed at the maximal excess molar volume,which displays stronger absorption capabilities for SO2 when the concentration of SO2 reaches 400×10?6 (volume ratio) in the gas phase. Meanwhile,FTIR and UV spectra of EGWs were recorded at various EG concentra-tions to display the hydrogen bonding interactions of EG with water. The FTIR spectra show that the stretching vibrational band of hydroxyl in the EGWs shifts to a lower frequency and the bending vibra-tional band of water shifts to a higher frequency with increasing the EG concentration,respectively. Furthermore,the UV spectra show that the electron transferring band of the hydroxyl oxygen in EG shows red shift with increasing the EG concentration. 126-15 Status Report of On-line Ion Sources in 2015显示文摘In 2015, the service time of the two on-line ion sources of HIRFL-CSR accelerator facility, SECRAL and LECR3, is 3 335.5 and 3 168.5 h, respectively, amouting to 6 504 h. 14Regulation of Reproduction in Delayed Gametophyte of Saccharina japonica (Laminariales, Phaeophyceae): Effects of Light Intensity, Quality and Photoperiod显示文摘Saccharina japonica gametophytes can survive a long period under unfavorable environmental conditions,while they also delay in growth and/or reproduction.Although the reproduction in delayed gametophyte of S.japonica was known to be strongly influenced by light intensity,light quality,and photoperiod,no previous studies have evaluated their interactive effects on gametogenesis.To evaluate these effects,we used an orthogonal experiment to expose delayed gametophytes of S.japonica to different light intensities,light qualities,and photoperiods for 12 days.The results showed that changes in light intensity rather than light quality and photoperiod significantly affected the relative growth rates of the delayed gametophytes.Blue light had the greatest promotion on reproduction rate.The optimal light conditions in the early vegetative growth phase in gametogenesis induction for the delayed gametophytes were at 60–80μmol photons m^(−2) s^(−1) with daylength of 12 or 16 hours under white or blue light.When the delayed gametophytes were maintained in a constant light condition from delayed state to gametogenesis,the beneficial photoperiods for vegetative growth and reproductive rate were both 16L(16 hours of light):8D(8 hours of dark).However,when the delayed S.japonica gametophytes achieve the optimal growth state during the first 6 days and then they were cultured at different light conditions for the following 6 days,the reproduction rate increased as the daylength decreased and attained a peak value in group of 8L:16D photoperiod,indicating that photoperiod adjustment at the transition period is crucial in the gametogenesis induction process of delayed gametophyte of S.japonica.WANG Xiao LIANG Zhourui LIU Fuli ZHANG Pengyan YUAN Yanmin LIU Yi WANG Wenjun SUN Xiutao 2023Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,1:0
15Detection of Precipitation Cloud over the Tibet Based on the Improved U-Net显示文摘Aiming at the problem of radar base and ground observation stations on the Tibet is sparsely distributed and cannot achieve large-scale precipitation monitoring.U-Net,an advanced machine learning(ML)method,is used to develop a robust and rapid algorithm for precipitating cloud detection based on the new-generation geostationary satellite of FengYun-4A(FY-4A).First,in this algorithm,the real-time multi-band infrared brightness temperature from FY-4A combined with the data of Digital Elevation Model(DEM)has been used as predictor variables for our model.Second,the efficiency of the feature was improved by changing the traditional convolution layer serial connection method of U-Net to residual mapping.Then,in order to solve the problem of the network that would produce semantic differences when directly concentrated with low-level and high-level features,we use dense skip pathways to reuse feature maps of different layers as inputs for concatenate neural networks feature layers from different depths.Finally,according to the characteristics of precipitation clouds,the pooling layer of U-Net was replaced by a convolution operation to realize the detection of small precipitation clouds.It was experimentally concluded that the Pixel Accuracy(PA)and Mean Intersection over Union(MIoU)of the improved U-Net on the test set could reach 0.916 and 0.928,the detection of precipitation clouds over Tibet were well actualized.Runzhe Tao Yonghong Zhang Lihua Wang Pengyan Cai Haowen Tan 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,12:0
16The neuropeptide CGRP enters the macrophage cytosol to suppress the NLRP3 inflammasome during pulmonary infection显示文摘The NLRP3 inflammasome plays an essential role in resistance to bacterial infection. The nervous system secretes multiple neuropeptides affecting the nervous system as well as immune cells. The precise impact of the neuropeptide CGRP on NLRP3 inflammasome activation is still unclear. Here, we show that CGRP negatively regulates the antibacterial process of host cells. CGRP prevents NLRP3 inflammasome activation and reduces mature IL-1β secretion. Following NLRP3 inflammasome stimulation that triggers endosome leakage, CGRP internalized to endosomal compartments is released into the cell cytosol. Cytosolic CGRP binds directly to NLRP3 and dismantles the NLRP3-NEK7 complex, which is crucial for NLRP3 inflammasome activation. CGRP administration exacerbates bacterial infection, while the treatment with a CGRP antagonist has the opposite effect. 17Investigating the Effect of Metabolic Phenotypes on Health Events in Alcoholic and Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease显示文摘Background and Aims:Metabolic dysfunction and obe-sity commonly coexist with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(AFLD and NAFLD).The association of AFLD and NAFLD with incident diseases in individuals with different metabolic phenotypes are unclear.Methods:UK Biobank study participants were screened for the presence of fatty liver at baseline.Body mass index and metabolic dysfunction were used to define metabolic phenotypes.Cox regression model was performed to examine the associations of AFLD and NAFLD with incident significant liver diseases(SLDs),cardiovascular diseases(CVDs),chronic kidney dis-eases(CKDs),and cancers,respectively.Results:A total of 43,974 AFLD and 103,248 NAFLD cases were identified.Both AFLD and NAFLD were associated with an increased risk of diseases of interest.The effects were amplified by obesity and metabolic abnormalities and modified by metabolic phe-notypes.Compared to individuals free of fatty liver and with phenotype of metabolically healthy-normal weight,AFLD[hazard ratio(HR 3.27;95%CI:1.95-5.47)]and NAFLD(HR 2.25;95%CI:1.28-3.94)cases with phenotype of met-abolically obese-normal weight had the greatest risk of SLDs.For CVDs,CKDs,and cancer,the greatest risks were detected in AFLD and NAFLD cases with phenotype of metabolically obese-overweight/obesity.In this subpopulation,AFLD and NAFLD conferred a 2.75-fold(95%CI:2.32-3.25)and 4.02-fold 95%CI:(3.64-4.43)increased risk of CVDs,4.37-fold 95%CI:(3.38-5.64)and 6.55-fold 95%CI:(5.73-7.48)increased risk of CKDs,and 1.19-fold 95%CI:(1.08-1.27)and 1.21-fold 95%CI:(1.14-1.28)increased risk of cancers,respectively.Conclusions:Metabolic phenotypes modified the association of AFLD and NAFLD with intrahepatic and ex-trahepatic diseases.Hong Fan Pengyan Zhang Zhenqiu Liu Renjia Zhao Chen Suo Xingdong Chen Tiejun Zhang 2023Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,3:0
186-43 Status of Intense Proton Source for C-ADS Injector显示文摘Two compact and intense 2.45 GHz permanent proton sources and their corresponding low energy beam transport(LEBT) systems were developed successfully for China Accelerator Driven Sub-critical system (C-ADS) in 2014,one of which was built at IMP, Lanzhou and the otherat IHEP, Beijing. Both proton sources can deliver stable10 mA/35 keV proton beams at CW mode to theentrances of the downstream RFQs. As shown in Fig. 1,the beams extracted by a 3-electrode extraction systemare transported by the LEBT system, which is composedof 2 identical solenoids, and into the 3.2 or 2.1MeV radio-frequency quadrupole (RFQ).
