| 4 | Carbon dots enhanced gelatin/chitosan bio-nanocomposite packaging film for perishable foods显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs)with intriguing fluorescent property,good biocompatibility,high stability,easy interaction with substrates,are burgeoning carbon nanoparticles with large potential in various applications.Incorporating CDs into the polymer matrix is becoming a popular strategy to endow the complex with new functions.Herein,the green-synthesized CDs was integrated into the mixture of gelatin(derived from waste fish scale)and chitosan,and a multifunctional bio-nanocomposite(defined as Gelatin/Chitosan/CDs)film was developed,which showed the excellent antibacterial,antioxidant,pH-sensitivity,UV shielding,and blue-emission properties.The effects of different concentrations of CDs on the physical,mechanical,structural,and functional activity of bio-nanocomposite film were tested.Compared with the Gelatin/Chitosan film,the Gelatin/Chitosan/CDs film with an optimum addition of 20%CDs showed the enhanced antibacterial,antioxidant as well as UV shielding activities.More importantly,it was used as an effective packaging material for fish meat preservation,reducing the loss of nutritional quality consumption,extending the shelf life of food.Besides,the bio-nanocomposite films also possessed the anti-counterfeiting and pH-responsive properties due to the strong fluorescent emission of CDs,and had the great potential in developing the intelligent packaging materials.Our work shed new light on the new application of CDs and the synthesis of bio-nanocomposite film in food industry. | Bofei Fu Qiaoling Liu Minghuan Liu Xiaofang Chen Hetong Lin Zongping Zheng Junqiu Zhu Congjie Dai Xiaochen Dong Da-Peng Yang | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,10: | 1 |

| 6 | Cr doping effect in B-site of La_(0.75)Sr_(0.25)MnO_3 on its phase stability and performance as an SOFC anode显示文摘La0.75Sr0.25CryMn1-yO3 (LSCM) (y = 0.0-0.6) composite oxides were synthesized by a complexing process of combining ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) and citrate. X-ray diffraction (XRD), temperature-programmed reduction, electrical conductivity, I-V polarization, and impedance spectroscopy were conducted to investigate the Cr doping effect of La0.75Sr0.25MnO3 on its phase stability and electrochemical performance as a solid-oxide fuel cell (SOFC) anode. The chemical and structural stabilities of the oxides increased steadily with increasing Cr doping concentration, while the electrical conductivity decreased on the contrary. At y ≥ 0.4, the basic perovskite structure under the anode operating condition was sustained. | 8 | In situ formation of self-antistacking FeCoO_(x) on N-doped graphene:A 3D-on-2D nanoarchitecture for long-life Zn-air batteries显示文摘Before the practical application of rechargeable Zn-air batteries(ZABs),a critical issue regarding the inherent slow reaction kinetics of the oxygen reduction(ORR)and oxygen evolution(OER)must be addressed.Here,we fabricate a cost-effective bifunctional oxygen electrocatalyst with a self-antistacking structure,where three-dimensional(3D)Fe-Co bimetallic oxide particles(FeCoO_(x))are directly grown on 2D N-doped graphene(NG).The in situ grown FeCoO_(x)particles can alleviate the NG interlaminar restacking,ensuring abundant channels for diffusion of O_(2)/OH−species,while the NG allows rapid electron flow.Benefiting from this self-antistacking 3D-on-2D structure and synergetic electrocatalysis,FeCoO_(x)@NG demonstrated excellent activity for both ORR and OER(ΔE=0.78 V),which is superior to that of the binary mixtures of Pt/C and RuO_(2)(ΔE=0.83 V).A homemade ZAB with 20%-FeCoO_(x)@NG delivers a specific capacity of 758.9 mAh g^(−1),a peak power density of 215 mW cm^(−2),and long-term cyclability for over 400 h.These research results suggest that designing a bimetallic oxide/N-doped carbon 3D-on-2D nanoarchitecture using an in situ growth strategy is an attractive and feasible solution to overcome electrocatalytic problems in ZABs. | Zehao Zheng Cuie Wang Peng Mao Yijun Zhu Ran Ran Wei Zhou Kaiming Liao Zongping Shao | 2023 | Carbon Energy2023,5,3: | 1 |

| 12 | Clinical characteristics of brain tumorrelated epilepsy and factors influencing the identification of epilepsy-associated tumors显示文摘Background:To analyze the clinical features of brain tumor-related epilepsy(BTRE)and explore the factors influencing the identification of epilepsy-associated tumor(EAT),in order to advance the clinical understanding of BTRE and EAT.Methods:Intracranial tumor origin and location as well as the type of epilepsy were retrospectively reviewed in 153 BTRE patients.The patients were further divided into the EAT and non-EAT groups,and comparisons were made for age,sex,tumor origin and location,and epilepsy type between the two groups.Results:The 153 BTRE patients were divided into 78 cases with primary intracranial tumor and 75 cases with tumor originating from extracranial metastasis,according to the origin of tumor.According to the location of tumor,116 cases had tumor lesions located in the brain parenchyma,and 37 cases had tumor lesions located in the meninges.Further,in the group with a brain parenchyma location,77 cases had single lobular involvement,and 39 cases had multiple-lobular involvement;84 cases had tumor lesions located in one hemisphere and 32 cases in both hemispheres.According to the type of epilepsy,92 cases had generalized seizures,and 61 cases had focal seizures.The type of epilepsy did not significantly correlate with the origin of intracranial tumor,the location of tumor lesions(in brain parenchyma or meninges)(P>0.05),or the hemispherical location(in one or two hemispheres)of lesions(P>0.05),but was significantly related with the lobular localization of lesions(P<0.05).The 153 cases of BTRE consisted of 87 EAT and 66 non-EAT,with significant differences in the origin,location and type(being glioma/non-glioma)of tumor.Logistic regression analysis showed that the type of tumor(i.e.whether being glioma)served as an independent factor for EAT identification;the lower the World Health Organization grade of glioma,the more likely the EAT is to be diagnosed(P<0.05).Conclusion:The majority of BTRE patients in this study had tumors located in the brain parenchyma.In addition,the patients with generalized seizures outnumbered those with focal seizures,and the type of epilepsy was correlated with the lobular location of tumor lesions.The EATs are mostly low-grade gliomas. | Xianwen Zhang Liaoyuan Zheng Jingfeng Duan Zongping Li Yufeng Tang | 2020 | Acta Epileptologica2020,2,1: | 0 |
