1Primary dolostone formation related to mantle-originated exhalative hydrothermal activities,Permian Yuejingou section,Santanghu area, Xinjiang,NW China显示文摘The Permian Lucaogou Formation is an important hydrocarbon source rock in the Junggar, Turpan, and Santanghu basins in Xinjiang, NW China. For the first time, dolostones associated with mantle-originated exhalative hydrothermal fluid flows are discovered in Yuejingou section in the Santanghu Basin area. They include dolomicrite, doloarenite, and a small amount of dolorudite, and are finely (0.05-0.15 cm thick) interlaminated with lime micrite and dolomicritic analcime laminites. Alkali feldspar and analcime grains are common in doloarenite and are interpreted as having been derived from analcime phonolites and peralkaline magmatic rocks. These magmatic fragments were brought up from subsurface by hydrothermal fluid flow and had experienced exhalative brecciation, transport, and deposition on the lake floor. The matrix consists dominantly of dolomite and ankerite smaller than 0.01 mm. The dolostones can be subdivided into four types on the basis of mineral composition and content. The detrital analcime and alkaline feldspar grains and tuff lithics are interpreted as intraclasts, which were deposited in an under-filled starved lake basin. The δ18OPDB values of dolostones are -5‰ to -21.1‰, and -11.9‰ on average; the 87Sr/86Sr ratios of dolostones are 0.70457 to 0.706194, and 0.705005 on average. These values, in combination with evidence of multi-episodes of peralkaline extrusion, suggest a mantle origin of the hydrothermal fluids, which may have promoted primary dolomite formation. The fluid from the upper mantle caused serpentinization of ultramafic rocks that intruded into the lower crust to obtain Mg2+ and Fe2+, and injected the ions into the lake water as the Mg and Fe sources for dolomite and ankerite. Hydro- thermal fluids associated with peralkaline magmatic rocks also provided Ca2+, Mg2+, Fe2+, and CO32-. Explosive breccias formed and dolostones were convoluted near the vent of hydrothermal fluid exhalation, whereas laminated dolostones formed farther away from the vent. The dolostones are primary dolomite deposition in an intracontinental rift basin and associated with mantle-originated hydrothermal fluids. 2Randomized Latent Factor Model for High-dimensional and Sparse Matrices from Industrial Applications显示文摘Latent factor(LF) models are highly effective in extracting useful knowledge from High-Dimensional and Sparse(HiDS) matrices which are commonly seen in various industrial applications. An LF model usually adopts iterative optimizers,which may consume many iterations to achieve a local optima,resulting in considerable time cost. Hence, determining how to accelerate the training process for LF models has become a significant issue. To address this, this work proposes a randomized latent factor(RLF) model. It incorporates the principle of randomized learning techniques from neural networks into the LF analysis of HiDS matrices, thereby greatly alleviating computational burden. It also extends a standard learning process for randomized neural networks in context of LF analysis to make the resulting model represent an HiDS matrix correctly.Experimental results on three HiDS matrices from industrial applications demonstrate that compared with state-of-the-art LF models, RLF is able to achieve significantly higher computational efficiency and comparable prediction accuracy for missing data.I provides an important alternative approach to LF analysis of HiDS matrices, which is especially desired for industrial applications demanding highly efficient models.Mingsheng Shang Xin Luo Zhigang Liu Jia Chen Ye Yuan MengChu Zhou 2019IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2019,6,1:11
3A Model of Hydrothermal Dolomite Reservoir Facies in Precambrian Dolomite, Central Sichuan Basin, SW China and its Geochemical Characteristics显示文摘Hydrothermal mineral assemblages and related hydrothermally enhanced fracturing are common in the Precambrian Dengying Formation of Central Sichuan Basin. Petrographic and geochemical analyses of core samples show that the hydrothermal dolomite reservoirs of Dengying Formation consist of four main types of pores in the reservoir facies. These include: 1) hydrothermal dissolution vug(or pore), 2) intercrystalline pore, 3) residual inter-breccia vug(or pore), and 4) enlarged dissolved-fracture. There are three different fabrics dolomite in hydrothermal dolomite reservoirs, namely, saddle dolomite, fine-medium dolomite and micritic dolomite. Micritic dolomite is the original lithology of host rock. Saddle dolomite with curved or irregular crystal faces was directly crystallized from hydrothermal fluids(average temperature 192°C). Fine-medium dolomites are the products of recrystallization of micritic dolomite, resulting in abnormal geochemical characteristics, such as slight depletion of δ^(18)O, significant enrichment of Mn-Fe and ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr, and positive Eu anomaly. A model for the distribution of various hydrothermal dolomite reservoir facies is proposed here, which incorporates three fundamental geological controls: 1) extensional tectonics and tectono-hydrothermal events(i.e., the Xingkai Taphrogenesis of Late Sinian-Early Cambrian, and Emei Taphrogenesis of Late Permian), 2) hydrothermal fluid storage in clastic rocks with large thickness(e.g., Nanhua System of Chengjiang Formation and part of Doushantuo Formation), and 3) confining bed for hydrothermal fluids(such as, the shale in Qiongzhusi Formation). The supply of hydrothermal fluid is critical. Large basement-rooted faults and associated grid-like fracture system may function as the channels for upward migration of hydrothermal fluid flow. 4Pollen-mediated gene flow in Chinese commercial fields of glufosinate-resistant canola (Brassica napus)显示文摘One of the most pressing issues surrounding transgenic oilseed rape cultivation is the potential impact of GM genes entering neighboring non-GM oilseed rape plants, related weeds or closely related wild relatives. Following the principle of a case-by-case for transgenic crop safety assessment, we designed experiments to study pollen-mediated gene flow from herbicide-resistant transgenic oilseed rape to Chinese commercial varieties. The pollen dispersal was detected as the progeny of recipient plants that were identified as glufosinate resistant. The results indicated that pollen dispersal occurred up to 2000 m and its rate sharply decreased as the distance from the pollen source increased. However, the rate of long-distance pollen dispersal from 33 to 2000 m was less than 0.015% and did not present a gradual decrease, indicating the randomization of dispersal and pollination. Most pollen dispersed within a 4.5 m area around the transgenic pollen source plot, with a maximum of 1.19% at the sampling site of 1.4 m. Wind direction significantly affected the direction and the distance of pollen dispersal, resulting in the more and farther dispersal in southwest direction. However, the number of potentially pollinating bees was not correlated with direction and distance from the pollen source plot, suggesting that bee density and distribution would not contribute to the differences in pollen dispersal among different directions. This paper is the first report on research in a large-scale experiment of pollen-mediated gene flow un-der the China’s environmental conditions and provided scientific evidence for the effective commer-cialization of transgenic oilseed rape and its safe management. 18Elevation change around Dome A region of Antarctica from EnviSat satellite radar altimetry during 2002–2012显示文摘The expected responses of ice sheets to climate warming are growth in the thickness of the inland ice areas and thinning near the margins.In recent decades,researchers have identified glacier acceleration along Antarctic ice sheet coastal margins.However,the study of ice sheet interiors where seasonal accumulation eventually balances ice wastage at the lower elevation is poorly understood.In this paper,the ice sheet elevation change around Dome A region is analyzed from 2002 to 2012 using two million elevation change measurements from EnviSat satellite radar altimeter data covering an area of about 7000 km2.A declining trend of 0.572±1.31 mm/year which means that the Dome A region was in balance during the last decade can be captured.In addition,two obvious changes in accumulation which divide elevation change time series into three independent equilibration stages are also extracted.In order to explain this phenomenon,two speculations related to snowfall and firn compaction are proposed in this paper.Qiang QIANG Chunxia ZHOU Mingsheng LIAO Qiuyang ZHAO Zemin WANG 2015Geo-Spatial Information Science2015,18,4:0
19Biotransformation of soy whey into a novel functional beverage by Cordyceps militaris SN-18显示文摘Soy whey,a liquid nutritional by-product of soybean manufacture,is rich in proteins,oligosaccharides and isoflavones.Soy whey can be used to produce functional beverages,instead of discarding it as a waste.In this study,unfermented soy whey(USW)and Cordyceps militaris SN-18-fermented soy whey(FSW)were investigated and compared for their physicochemical and functional properties by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)and DNA damage assay.Results show that C.militaris SN-18 fermentation could increase the contents of essential amino acids,total phenolic and flavonoid and isoflavone aglycones and eliminate the oligosaccharides in soy whey.Furthermore,C.militaris SN-18 could significantly enhance the ABTS radical scavenging ability,reducing power and ferric reducing power of soy whey,and its fermented products could prominently attenuate Fenton reaction-induced DNA damage.These findings indicate that soy whey can potentially be converted into a novel soy functional beverage by C.militaris SN-18 fermentation.Yiqiang Dai Jianzhong Zhou Lixia Wang Mingsheng Dong Xiudong Xia 2021Food Production, Processing and Nutrition2021,3,1:0
20Stability prediction of underground entry-type excavations based on particle swarm optimization and gradient boosting decision tree显示文摘The stability of underground entry-type excavations will directly affect the working environment and the safety of staff.Empirical critical span graphs and traditional statistics learning methods can not meet the requirements of high accuracy for stability assessment of entry-type excavations.Therefore,this study proposes a new prediction method based on machine learning to scientifically adjust the critical span graph.Accordingly,the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is used to optimize the core parameters of the gradient boosting decision tree(GBDT),abbreviated as PSO-GBDT.Moreover,the classification performance of eight other classifiers including GDBT,k-nearest neighbors(KNN),two kinds of support vector machines(SVM),Gaussian naive Bayes(GNB),logistic regression(LR)and linear discriminant analysis(LDA)are also applied to compare with the proposed model.Findings revealed that compared with the other eight models,the prediction performance of PSO-GBDT is undoubtedly the most reliable,and its classification accuracy is up to 0.93.Therefore,this model has great potential to provide a more scientific and accurate choice for the stability prediction of underground excavations.In addition,each classification model is used to predict the stability category of several grid points divided by the critical span graph,and the updated critical span graph of each model is discussed in combination with previous studies.The results show that the PSO-GBDT model has the advantages of being scientific,accurate and efficient in updating the critical span graph,and its output decision boundary has strict theoretical support,which can help mine operators make favorable economic decisions.Jian Zhou Shuai Huang Ming Tao Manoj Khandelwal Yong Dai Mingsheng Zhao 2023Underground Space2023,,2:0
