| 1 | Distribution and elimination of polycyclic musks in three sewage treatment plants of Beijing, China显示文摘The two representative polycyclic musks, 1-(5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-3,5,5,6,8,8-hexamethyl-2-naphthenyl)-ethanone (AHTN) and 1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-4,6,6,7,8,8-hexamethylcyclopenta[g]-2-benzopyrane (HHCB), were measured in aqueous samples and sludge samples of three sewage treatment plants (STPs) in Beijing, China using a gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry. The HHCB and AHTN concentration ranges in the influents were 1251.4-3003.8 ng/L and 111.9-286.3 ng/L, respectively. Meanwhile, the ranges of 492.8-1285.3 ng/L for HHCB and 47.3-89.3 ng/L for AHTN were present in the effluents. The musks in the sludges were three to four orders of magnitude higher than those in aqueous sewages. The removal efficiencies of the two musks varied in the ranges of 41.7%- 70.1% for HHCB, and 25.5%-68.8% for AHTN. Adsorption onto suspended particulate matter played an important role in removing musks from the sewages. The HHCB/AHTN ratio along the treatment processes showed that the two musks had high similarity of removal from sewage by each reactor in STP. The musks in the effluent sewages may pose a low potential risk to aquatic environment in terms of the predicted-non-effect concentration. | 2 | Fissure evolution and evaluation of pressure-relief gas drainage in the exploitation of super-remote protected seams显示文摘Based on nonlinearity contact theory and the geological structure of the Xieqiao Coal Mine in the newly developed Huainan coal field,rock movements,mining fissures and deformation of overlying strata were simulated by using the interface unit of FLAC3D to evaluate the pressure-relief gas drainage in the exploitation of super-remote protected seams.The simulation indicates that the height of the water flowing fractured zone is 54 m in the overlying strata above the protective layer.The maximum relative swelling deformation of the C13 coal seam is 0.232%,while the mining height is 3.0 m and the distance from the B8 roof to the C13 floor is 129 m,which provides good agreement with a similar experiment and in situ results.The feasibility of exploitation of a super-remote protective coal seam and the performance of the pressure-relief gas drainage in a super-remote protected layer are evaluated by comparisons with practice projects.It demonstrates that the relieved gas in the super-remote protected layers could be better drained and it is feasible to exploit the B8 coal seam before the C13 super-remote protected coal seam.The method is applicable for the study of rock movements,mining fissures and deformation of the overburden,using the interface unit to analyze the contact problems in coal mines. | LIU, Hongyong CHENG, Yuanping ZHOU, Hongxing WANG, Feng CHEN, Haidong | 2010 | Mining Science and Technology2010,20,2: | 10 |
| 3 | Efficient spectral regulation in Ce:Lu_(3)(Al,Cr)_(5)O_(12) and Ce:Lu_(3)(Al,Cr)_(5)O_(12)/Ce:Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12) transparent ceramics with high color rendering index for high-power white LEDs/LDs显示文摘Realizing a high color rendering index(CRI)in Ce:LuAG transparent ceramics(TCs)with desired thermal stability is essential to their applications in white LEDs/LDs as color converters.In this study,based on the scheme of configuring the red component by Cr^(3+) doping,an efficient spectral regulation was realized in Ce,Cr:LuAG TCs.A unilateral shift phenomenon could be observed in both photoluminescence(PL)and photoluminescence excitation(PLE)spectra of TCs.By constructing TC-based white LED/LD devices in a remote excitation mode,luminescence properties of Ce,Cr:LuAG TCs were systematically investigated.The CRI values of Ce:LuAG TC based white LEDs could be increased by a magnitude of 46.2%.Particularly,by combining the as fabricated Ce,Cr:LuAG TCs with a 0.5 at% Ce:YAG TC,surprising CRI values of 88 and 85.5 were obtained in TC based white LEDs and LDs,respectively.Therefore,Ce,Cr:LuAG TC is a highly promising color convertor for high-power white LEDs/LDs applied in general lighting and displaying. | Tianyuan ZHOU Chen HOU Le ZHANG Yuelong MA Jian KANG Tao LI Rui WANG Jin HUANG Junwei LI Haidong REN Zhenxiao FU Farida ASELIM Ming LI Hao CHEN | 2021 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,5: | 7 |

| 7 | 中国城市中大气分粒级的粒子数浓度与每日死亡率显示文摘[背景]大气颗粒物-9健康结局之间的相关性已在全球范围内广为报道。然而,有关不同粒径颗粒物对健康影响的研究却十分有限。[目的]以中国沈阳为例,探索不同粒径颗粒物的数量浓度(particle number concentrations,PNCs)与每日死亡率之间的关系。[方法]研究时间为2006年12月1日至2008年11月30日,分别收集每日死因别死亡率和直径为0.25~10岬颗粒物的每日PNCs。用基于半泊松回归的广义相加模型来评估PNCs-9死亡率之间的相关性,同时采用自然样条平滑函数校正随时间变化的协变量、长期趋势及季节性趋势。[结果]在研究时间内,归因于非意外的自然死亡、心血管疾病和呼吸系统疾病的平均每日死亡数分别为67、32和7。直径为0.25-0.50gm的颗粒物PNCs与总死亡率和心血管疾病死亡率明显相关,但与呼吸系统疾病死亡率无明显相关性。与冷季相比,暖季里PNCs效应估计值较大,并且效应值随着颗粒物粒径的减小而增加。0.25~0.28p,m、O.35~0.40μm和0.45—0.50gm的颗粒物PNCs每增加1个IQR浓度,与之相关的总死亡风险分别增大2.41%(95%CI:1.23%~3.58%)、1.31%(95%CI:0.52%~2.09%)和0.45%(95%CI:0.04%-0.87%)。校正大气颗粒物和气态污染物的质量浓度后,这种相关性仍然保持稳定。[结论]研究结果提示,直径〈0.5μm的颗粒物可能是空气污染颗粒中导致不良健康影响的最主要成分,并且对健康的不利影响随着颗粒直径的减小而增加。 | Xia Meng Yanjun Ma Renjie Chen Zhijun Zhou Bingheng Chen Haidong Kan 张伊人 汪源 金泰廙 | 2014 | 环境与职业医学2014,31,4: | 2 |

| 14 | The Establishment of a New Air Health Index Integrating the Mortality Risks Due to Ambient Air Pollution and Non-Optimum Temperature显示文摘A composite Air Health Index(AHI)is helpful for separately emphasizing the health risks of multiple stimuli and communicating the overall risks of an adverse atmospheric environment to the public.We aimed to establish a new AHI by integrating daily mortality risks due to air pollution with those due to non-optimum temperature in China.Based on the exposure-response(E-R)coefficients obtained from time-series models,the new AHI was constructed as the sum of excess mortality risk associated with air pollutants and non-optimum temperature in 272 Chinese cities from 2013 to 2015.We examined the association between the“total AHI”(based on total mortality)and total mortality,and further compared the ability of the“total AHI”to predict specific cardiopulmonary mortality with that of“specific AHIs”(based on specific mortalities).On average,air pollution and non-optimum temperature were associated with 28.23%of daily excess mortality,of which 23.47%was associated with non-optimum temperature while the remainder was associated with fine particulate matter(PM2.5)(1.12%),NO2(2.29%,),and O3(2.29%).The new AHI uses a 10-point scale and shows an average across all 272 cities of 6 points.The E-R curve for AHI and mortality is approximately linear,without any thresholds.Each one unit increase in“total AHI”is associated with a 0.84%increase in all-cause mortality and 1.01%,0.98%,1.02%,1.66%,and 1.71%increases in cardiovascular disease,coronary heart disease,stroke,respiratory diseases,and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease mortality,respectively.Cause-specific mortality risk estimates using the“total AHI”are similar to those predicted by“specific AHIs.”In conclusion,the“total AHI”proposed herein could be a promising tool for communicating health risks related to exposure to the ambient environment to the public. | Qingli Zhang Renjie Chen Guanjin Yin Xihao Du Xia Meng Yang Qiu Haidong Kan Maigeng Zhou | 2022 | Engineering2022,8,7: | 1 |

| 16 | Asymmetric ferromagnetic criticality in pyrochlore ferromagnet Lu2V2O7显示文摘We study the ferromagnetic criticality of the pyrochlore magnet Lu2 V2 O7 at the ferromagnetic transition TC% 70 K from the isotherms of magnetization MeHT via an iteration process and the Kouvel-Fisher method. The critical exponents associated with the transition are determined: b = 0.32(1), c = 1.41(1),and d ? 5:38. The validity of these critical exponents is further verified by scaling all the MeHT data in the vicinity of TConto two universal curves in the plot of M=jejbversus H=jejbtc, where e ? T=TCà 1.The obtained b and c values show asymmetric behaviors on the T < TCand the T > TCsides, and are consistent with the predicted values of 3 D Ising and cubic universality classes, respectively. This makes Lu2 V2 O7 a rare example in which the critical behaviors associated with a ferromagnetic transition belong to different universality classes. | 17 | High variation of fungal communities and associated potential plant pathogens induced by long-term addition of N fertilizers rather than P, K fertilizers: A case study in a Mollisol field显示文摘Nitrogen(N),phosphate(P),and potassium(K)are the three most important nutrients applied into agricultural soils,but the impacts of their single or combined application on soil fungal community structure and stability are still open questions.Using qPCR and Illumina Miseq sequencing,the variation of soil fungal communities in response to long-term addition of N,P,or K fertilization alone and their combinations in a Mollisol field was investigated in this study.In addition,the fungal community resistance indices and network structure were studied.Results showed that N fertilizations(N,NK,NP and NPK treatments)rather than P,K fertilizations(P,K and PK treatments)significantly increased fungal abundance,but decreased fungal diversity and shifted fungal community structures when compared to non-fertilization(NoF).Additionally,N fertilization treatments presented lower resistance of fungal communities to environment disturbances than those of P,K fertilization treatments.More numbers and higher abundances of changed fungal taxa at the genus and OTU levels were induced by N fertilizations rather than by addition of P,K fertilizers.In addition,N fertilizations induced a more changeable fungal network and complex pathogenic subnetwork with many positive interactions among responding plant pathogens(RP,the changeable plant pathogens induced by fertilizers addition compared to NoF)when compared to P,K fertilizations.These RP directly and negatively influenced fungal community resistance examined by structural equation modeling(SEM),which were indirectly detrimental to soybean yields.Our findings revealed that addition of N fertilizers significantly disturbed fungal communities and promoted pathogenic interactions,and provided insights into the optimization of fertilization strategies toward agricultural sustainability. | Xiaojing Hu Haidong Gu Junjie Liu Baoku Zhou Dan Wei Xueli Chen Guanghua Wang | 2022 | Soil Ecology Letters2022,4,4: | 1 |
