| 1 | The Sunway TaihuLight supercomputer: system and applications显示文摘The Sunway Taihu Light supercomputer is the world's first system with a peak performance greater than 100 PFlops. In this paper, we provide a detailed introduction to the Taihu Light system. In contrast with other existing heterogeneous supercomputers, which include both CPU processors and PCIe-connected many-core accelerators(NVIDIA GPU or Intel Xeon Phi), the computing power of Taihu Light is provided by a homegrown many-core SW26010 CPU that includes both the management processing elements(MPEs)and computing processing elements(CPEs) in one chip. With 260 processing elements in one CPU, a single SW26010 provides a peak performance of over three TFlops. To alleviate the memory bandwidth bottleneck in most applications, each CPE comes with a scratch pad memory, which serves as a user-controlled cache. To support the parallelization of programs on the new many-core architecture, in addition to the basic C/C++and Fortran compilers, the system provides a customized Sunway Open ACC tool that supports the Open ACC2.0 syntax. | 3 | Danshenchuanxiongqin injection in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris: a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate systematically the efficacy and safety of Danshenchuanxiongqin Injection(DCI)in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris(UAP).METHODS:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)regarding DCI used for treating UAP were searched in English and Chinese electronic databases from inception to January 2014.Two reviewers independently retrieved RCTs and extracted relevant information.The Cochrane risk of bias method was used to assess the quality of included studies,and a Meta-analysis was conducted with Review Manager5.2 software.RESULTS:Eleven RCTs involving 1034 participants were included.The methodological quality was relatively passable.The Meta-analysis indicated that the combined use of DCI and conventional treatment with Western Medicine(WM)was more efficacious in the outcomes of total effective rate[Relative Risk(RR)=1.27,95%CI(confidence interval;1.18,1.35),P<0.000 01],the total effective rate of ECG[RR=1.40,95%CI(1.18,1.66),P<0.000 01],total cholesterol[Mean difference(MD)=-0.58,95%CI(-0.83,-0.33),P<0.000 01],total triglycerides[MD=-0.36,95%CI(-0.54,-0.17),P=0.0001],and the number of ST-segment depression[MD=-0.36,95%CI(-0.54,-0.17),P=0.0001].There were two adverse drug reactions reported in one study.CONCLUSION:Based on the systematic review,DCI combined with WM appeared to be efficacious in the treatment UAP.However,the evidence of DCI for treating UAP requires large-scale and double-blind RCTs to substantiate these findings. | Zhang Xiaomeng Wu Jiarui Zhang Bing Zhou Wei | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2: | 24 |
| 4 | Effect of Protein Kinase C on Proliferation and Apoptosis of T Lymphocytes in Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura Children显示文摘It is well-documented that T lymphocyte proliferation and apoptosis are abnormal in idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) children. However, the underlying regulation mechanisms especially in terms of signal transduction remain unknown. In this paper, we reported the changes of protein kinase C (PKC) activity in peripheral blood T lymphocytes and the effect of PKC on T lymphocyte proliferation and apoptosis. We demonstrated that in ITP children, the activator (PMA) and inhibitor (H-7) of PKC affected on T lymphocyte proliferation and apoptosis dramatically, but they altered little in healthy children. PKC activity was significantly enhanced in ITP children together with an increased expression of FasL on CD3+ T, CD4+ T and CD8+T cells, resulting in a positive correlation between PKC activity and the expression of FasL on T cells. While the PKC activity and the platelet count were negatively correlated. | 8 | Construction of Co_(2)NiO_(4)@MnCo_(2)O_(4.5)nanoparticles with multiple hetero-interfaces for enhanced electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘Nanocomposites with heterogeneous structures and magneto-electric synergistic losses have broad prospects for improving electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption performance.In this study,we synthesized Co_(2)NiO_(4)@MnCo_(2)O_(4.5)nanoparticles with abundant hetero-interfaces and multiple magnetoelectric loss mechanisms by a facile hydrothermal method.The excess 0.5 oxygen atoms in MnCo_(2)O_(4.5) produce more vacancies and contribute to the enhancement of electrical conductivity.Sequential nanoneedle clusters facilitate multiple reflections and absorption of EMW in the materials,which are accompanied by an abundance of heterogeneous interfaces to improve the dielectric loss.The Co_(2)NiO_(4)@MnCo_(2)O_(4.5)composites showed a minimum reflection loss(RLmin)of30.01 dB and a superior effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 6.12 GHz(11.88 GHze18 GHz)at a thickness of 2.00 mm.Computer Simulation Technology(CST)revealed that the obtained particles show very low radar crosssection(RCS)values and almost full coverage angles.The maximum reduction of RCS at vertical incidence reaches 19.98 dB m2.The Co_(2)NiO_(4)@MnCo_(2)O_(4.5)nanoparticles exhibit outstanding radar attenuation properties,which can effectively inhibit the reflection and scattering of EMW.Therefore,the prepared Co_(2)NiO_(4)@MnCo_(2)O_(4.5)absorbers have great application potential in the field of EMW absorption. | Yi Zhang Shujuan Tan Zhuoting Zhou Xiaomeng Guan Yu Liao Chen Li Guangbin Ji | 2023 | Particuology2023,,10: | 5 |

| 11 | Meiotic nuclear divisions 1(MND1)fuels cell cycle progression by activating a KLF6/E2F1 positive feedback loop in lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘Background:Considering the increase in the proportion of lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)cases among all lung cancers and its considerable contribution to cancer-related deaths worldwide,we sought to identify novel oncogenes to provide potential targets and facilitate a better understanding of the malignant progression of LUAD.Methods:The results from the screening of transcriptome and survival analyses according to the integrated Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)datasets and The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)data were combined,and a promising risk biomarker called meiotic nuclear divisions 1(MND1)was selectively acquired.Cell viability assays and subcutaneous xenograftmodelswere used to validate the oncogenic role ofMND1 in LUADcell proliferation and tumor growth.Aseries of assays,including mass spectrometry,co-immunoprecipitation(Co-IP),and chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP),were performed to explore the underlying mechanism.Results:MND1 up-regulation was identified to be an independent risk factor for overall survival in LUAD patients evaluated by both tissue microarray staining and third party data analysis.In vivo and in vitro assays showed that MND1 promoted LUAD cell proliferation by regulating cell cycle.The results of the Co-IP,ChIP and dual-luciferase reporter assays validated that MND1 competitively bound to tumor suppressor Kruppel-like factor 6(KLF6),and thereby protecting E2F transcription factor 1(E2F1)from KLF6-induced transcriptional repression.Luciferase reporter and ChIP assays found that E2F1 activated MND1 transcription by binding to its promoter in a feedback manner.Conclusions:MND1,KLF6,and E2F1 form a positive feedback loop to regulate cell cycle and confer DDP resistance in LUAD.MND1 is crucial for malignant progression and may be a potential therapeutic target in LUAD patients. | Quanli Zhang Run Shi Yongkang Bai Lijuan Meng Jingwen Hu Hongyu Zhu Tongyan Liu Xiaomeng De Siwei Wang Jie Wang Lin Xu Guoren Zhou Rong Yin | 2021 | Cancer Communications2021,41,6: | 2 |

| 14 | Effects of water mist addition on kerosene pool fire显示文摘The use of water mist to extinguish fire is a problem of particular interest since the banning of halogen-based agents for environmental reasons. This interest is reflected in the large number of researches performed on the main fire-extinguishing mechanisms of water mist: heat extraction, oxygen displacement and attenuation of heat fluxes. In contrast, there are still little known about the chemical and some other aspects of water mist addition on the pool fire. In this paper, a phenomenological study was conducted of the effect of water mist addition on the kerosene pool fire through the measurement of the heat release rate, CO, CO2 and O2 species concentration in combustion. The experimental results show that there is a significant enhancement effect at the beginning stage of water mist addition. Then, the flame size was decreased abruptly. By physical suppression effect combined with chemical effect, the experiments' results are explained especially. | 15 | Experimental study on inhibition of low pressure premixed flat methane-oxygen flames by trifluoromethane显示文摘This paper presents measurements of combus- tion species of low pressure laminar premixed flat meth- ane-oxygen flames inhibited by trifluoromethane (CF3H) using synchrotron radiation-molecular beam mass spec- trometry (SR-MBMS). Fire suppression chemistry of CF3H is investigated by selective detection of combustion radicals and intermediates. Results show that SR-MBMS offers a powerful tool for studying fire suppression chemistry of ha- lon replacements, which may extensively detect combustion species in the inhibited flames, especially radicals and inter- mediates. The suppressant CF3H is completely consumed in the preheat zone of premixed flames and produces fluori- nated radicals such as CF3 and CF2. CF3 is the main radical participating in flame inhibition cycles in the reactive zone. | 18 | Micro or nano:Evaluation of biosafety and biopotency of magnesium metal organic framework-74 with different particle sizes显示文摘In recent years,various particulate materials have played important roles in medical applications.However,nano-and micron-sized particles of the same material could exhibit distinct properties due to different particle sizes.This finding provided a simple and effective way to improve the biological applications of particulate materials.Therefore,as a highly promising member,the effect of the particle size change of the magnesium metal organic framework-74(Mg-MOF74)was well worth evaluating.Here we firsth assessed the in vitro and in vivo toxicity of micron/nanoscale Mg-MOF74(m-Mg-MOF74/n-Mg-MOF74)in detail.Our in vitro study revealed that compared to micron-sized subjects,n-Mg-MOF74 provided a wider range of safe concentrations.Furthermore,both micron/nanoscale Mg-MOF74 showed good biocompatibility and allowed all the rats under the treatment to survive through the expected experimental periods,with n-Mg-MOF74 still showing lower cardiotoxicity.These advantages of nanoscale Mg-MOF74might benefit from its sustainable and balanced release of Ma^2+both inside and outside the cells.Based on the biosafety evaluation,advanced bio-functional assessments of m/n-Mg-MOF74 including early osteogenesis and angiogenesis were alsoperformed.Similarly,the suitable dose groups of n-Mg-MOF74 achieved optimal early osteogenic promotion and angiogenic stimulation effects.Overall,our combined data delineated the toxicity and biological behaviors of Ma-MOF74 of different scales,and sugqested nanoscale Mg-MOF74 as a better choice for future applications.This result revealed that particle size reductior might be a viable strategy to improve and expand medical applications of MOFs or other particulate materials. | Zhou Zhu Shaokang Jiang Yanhua Liu Xiaomeng Gao Shanshan Hu Xin Zhang Chao Huang Qianbing Wan Jian Wang Xibo Pei | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,2: | 1 |
