1Jurassic Hornblende Gabbros in Dongga,Eastern Gangdese,Tibet:Partial Melting of Mantle Wedge and Implications for Crustal Growth显示文摘The Gangdese batholith, more than 2500 km in length, is composed mainly of JurassicMiocene igneous rocks. This batholith is one of the most important constituents of the Tibetan orogenesis and provides an ideal place for study of Neo-Tethyan ocean geodynamic evolution and plateau uplift. Recent studies on the Gangdese Jurassic felsic magmatism highlight its juvenile source. However, important aspects concerning the genesis of the juvenile magmatism and related deep geodynamic evolution are still unclear. Here, we report detailed petrological, geochronological, geochemical, whole-rock Sr-Nd isotopic, and in situ Sr-Hf isotopic data for a recently identified hornblende gabbro in the Dongga area, southern Lhasa sub-block. This hornblende gabbro is dominated by hornblende and plagioclase, dated at Early Jurassic(ca. 180–190 Ma), and characterized by a narrow compositional range in SiO_2(49.38wt%–52.27wt%), MgO(4.08wt%–7.00wt%), FeO(10.43wt%–11.77wt%), Na_2O(2.58wt%–3.51wt%), and K_2O(0.48wt%–1.53wt%). It has depleted isotopic signatures, with whole-rock(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)i ratios of 0.7033–0.7043, ε_(Nd)(t) values of +4.90 to +6.99, in situ plagioclase(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)i ratios of 0.7034–0.7042, and zircon ε_(Hf)(t) of +12.2 to +16.8. Our results integrated with published data suggest a model of Gangdese juvenile crustal growth by a subduction-related water-enriched mantle wedge. The hydrous partial melting of the lithosphere mantle was triggered by the dehydration of a Neo-Tethyan oceanic slab. 2LES investigation of swirl intensity effect on unconfined turbulent swirling premixed flame显示文摘A finite reaction rate model is presented as a closure of large eddy simulation(LES) to numerically study an open premixed methane/air swirling flame. The resultant model is firstly validated by comparing with reported data and then employed to investigate the effect of swirling intensity on flow field, flame characteristics and combustion instability of the swirling flame. Three different swirl numbers are considered. The LES results show that as swirling intensity increases, the vortex entrainment and micro-mixing are enhanced, leading to more lean equivalent ratios at flame front; consequently, higher swirling number causes lower flame temperatures and slower CO oxidization; for all simulated swirl numbers,flame fronts are completely located out of the recirculation zones and anchored at the inner surface of the annular swirling steams; swirl number has a crucial effect on swirling flame extension toward radial and tangential dimensions and then significantly affects streamwise flame length, which is a great influencing factor on combustion instability; vortex-induced disturbance on flame in streamwise plays a critical role in combustion instability.Zhihua Wang Yanwei Xu Yu L Zhijun Zhou Junhu Zhou Kefa Cen 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,33:6
3Atomic layer deposition for quantum dots based devices显示文摘Quantum dots(QDs)are promising candidates for the next-generation optical and electronic devices due to the outstanding photoluminance efficiency,tunable bandgap and facile solution synthesis.Nevertheless,the limited optoelectronic performance and poor lifetime of QDs devices hinder their further applications.As a gas-phase surface treatment method,atomic layer deposition(ALD)has shown the potential in QDs surface modification and device construction owing to the atomic-level control and excellent uniformity/conformality.In this perspective,the attempts to utilize ALD techniques in QDs modification to improve the photoluminance efficiency,stability,carrier mobility,as well as interfacial carrier utilization are introduced.ALD proves to be successful in the photoluminance quantum yield(PLQY)enhancement due to the elimination of QDs surface dangling bonds and defects.The QDs stability and devices lifetime are improved greatly through the introduction of ALD barrier layers.Furthermore,the carrier transport is ameliorated efficiently by infilling interstitial spaces during ALD process.Attributed to the ultra-thin and dense coating on the interface,the improvement on optoelectronic performance is achieved.Finally,the challenges of ALD applications in QDs at present and several prospects including ALD process optimization,in-situ characterization and computational simulations are proposed.Binze Zhou Mengjia Liu Yanwei Wen Yun Li Rong Chen 2020Opto-Electronic Advances2020,3,9:3

6Insulin sensitivity,βcell function,and adverse pregnancy outcomes in women with gestational diabetes显示文摘Background: The potential impact of β cell function and insulin sensitivity on adverse pregnancy outcomes in women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) remains uncertain. We aimed to investigate the association between β cell dysfunction, insulin resistance, and the composite adverse pregnancy outcomes.Methods: This observational study included 482 women diagnosed with GDM during pregnancy. Quantitative metrics on β cell function and insulin sensitivity during pregnancy were calculated using traditional equations. The association of β cell dysfunction and insulin resistance with the risk of the composite adverse pregnancy outcomes was investigated using multivariable-adjusted logistic regression models.Results: Multivariable-adjusted odds ratios (ORs) of adverse pregnancy outcomes across quartiles of homeostatic model assessment for insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) were 1.00, 0.95, 1.34, and 2.25, respectively (P for trend = 0.011). When HOMA-IR was considered as a continuous variable, the multivariable-adjusted OR of adverse pregnancy outcomes was 1.34 (95% confidence interval 1.16-1.56) for each 1-unit increase in HOMA-IR. Multivariable-adjusted ORs of adverse pregnancy outcomes across quartiles of homeostatic model assessment for β cell function (HOMA-β) were 1.00, 0.51, 0.60, and 0.53, respectively (P for trend = 0.068). When HOMA-β was considered as a continuous variable, the multivariable-adjusted OR of adverse pregnancy outcomes was 0.57 (95% CI 0.24-0.90) for each 1-unit increase in HOMA-β. However, other quantitative metrics were not associated with the composite adverse pregnancy outcomes.Conclusions: We demonstrated a significant association of β cell function and insulin sensitivity with the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes. 13A study of transarterial infusion chemotherapy of gemcitabine plus three dimensional conformal radiotherapy for local advanced pancreatic cancer显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of transarterial infusion chemotherapy of gemcitabine plus three dimen- sional conformal radiotherapy on patients with local advanced pancreatic cancer. Methods: Fifty-one patients with local ad- vanced pancreatic cancer from June 2002 to February 2004 were enrolled, twenty-four patients of combined group were treat- ed with transarterial infusion chemotherapy of gemcitabine plus three dimensional conformal radiotherapy, while twenty-seven patients of control group were treated only with transarterial infusion chemotherapy of gemcitabine. Results: There were significant statistical differences between two groups in clinical benefit response (91.7% versus 74.1%, P < 0.01) and overall remission rate (70.8% versus 33.3%, P < 0.01). The 6-month survival rate, 12-month survival rate and 24-month survival rate of combined group were 83.3%, 62.5% and 37.5% respectively, while that of control group were 55.6%, 33.3% and 11.1% respectively. This showed significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion: Transarterial infusion chemotherapy of gemcitabine plus three dimensional conformal radiotherapy may be better than single transarterial infusion chemotherapy of gemcitabine in improving survival rates and elongating survival time of patients with local advanced pancreatic cancer.Zhaojun Ding Yanwei Sun Jiayun Zhou 2007The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2007,6,3:1
