| 2 | Preparation of colloidal gold immunochromatography strip for detection of methamidophos residue显示文摘Methamidophos (Met) is a broad spectrum organophosphorus insecticide and acaricide.Even a trace of its residue is harmful to humans and many animals.In this study,the synthesis and identification of colloidal gold particles and antibody-colloidal gold conjugates were performed,and the preparation of colloidal gold immunochromatography strip was conducted for detection of Met residue.The size of colloidal gold particles was checked using a transmission electron microscope (TEM).The formation of antibody-colloidal gold conjugates was monitored by UV/Vis spectroscopy.The preparation of colloidal gold immunochromatography strips,analysis of Met standard solutions,and other four pesticides and vegetable samples were operated with common methods and principals.The TEM images showed the average diameter of colloidal gold particles was almost the same size: approximately 40.0 nm in diameter.For the conjugation of colloidal gold and monoclonal antibody (MAb),0.03 mg/ml of MAb was confirmed to be the minimum amount for stabilization of colloidal gold.With the prepared colloidal gold immunochromatography test strip to determine the standard Met solution,the results demonstrated a detection limit of approximately 1.0 μg/ml.Cross-reaction indicated that the strip had a high specificity to Met.The results of 10 green vegetable sample tests confirmed that one sample was positive by HPLC analysis.There was evidence to suggest that colloidal gold particles and antibody-colloidal gold conjugates were synthesized successfully.The prepared colloidal gold immunochromatography strip was applicable for preliminary screening of Met residue. | Shi Chenggang Zhao Suqing Zhang Kun Hong Guobao Zhu Zhenyu | 2008 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,11: | 15 |
| 3 | Estimation of net primary productivity and its driving factors in the Ili River Valley,China显示文摘Net primary productivity(NPP), as an important variable and ecological indicator in grassland ecosystems, can reflect environmental change and the carbon budget level. The Ili River Valley is a wetland nestled in the hinterland of the Eurasian continent, which responds sensitively to the global climate change. Understanding carbon budget and their responses to climate change in the ecosystem of Ili River Valley has a significant effect on the adaptability of future climate change and sustainable development. In this study, we calculated the NPP and analyzed its spatio-temporal pattern of the Ili River Valley during the period 2000–2014 using the normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI) and an improved Carnegie-Ames-Stanford(CASA) model. Results indicate that validation showed a good performance of CASA over the study region, with an overall coefficient of determination(R2) of 0.65 and root mean square error(RMSE) of 20.86 g C/(m^2·a). Temporally, annual NPP of the Ili River Valley was 599.19 g C/(m^2·a) and showed a decreasing trend from 2000 to 2014, with an annual decrease rate of –3.51 g C/(m^2·a). However, the spatial variation was not consistent, in which 55.69% of the areas showed a decreasing tendency, 12.60% of the areas remained relatively stable and 31.71% appeared an increasing tendency. In addition, the decreasing trends in NPP were not continuous throughout the 15-year period, which was likely being caused by a shift in climate conditions. Precipitation was found to be the dominant climatic factor that controlled the inter-annual variability in NPP. Furthermore, the correlations between NPP and climate factors differed along the vertical zonal. In the medium-high altitudes of the Ili River Valley, the NPP was positively correlated to precipitation and negatively correlated to temperature and net radiation. In the low-altitude valley and high-altitude mountain areas, the NPP showed a negative correlation with precipitation and a weakly positive correlation with temperature and net radiation. | 5 | Impact of land use/cover changes on carbon storage in a river valley in arid areas of Northwest China显示文摘Soil carbon pools could become a CO_2 source or sink, depending on the directions of land use/cover changes. A slight change of soil carbon will inevitably affect the atmospheric CO_2 concentration and consequently the climate. Based on the data from 127 soil sample sites, 48 vegetation survey plots, and Landsat TM images, we analyzed the land use/cover changes, estimated soil organic carbon(SOC) storage and vegetation carbon storage of grassland, and discussed the impact of grassland changes on carbon storage during 2000 to 2013 in the Ili River Valley of Northwest China. The results indicate that the areal extents of forestland, shrubland, moderate-coverage grassland(MCG), and the waterbody(including glaciers) decreased while the areal extents of high-coverage grassland(HCG),low-coverage grassland(LCG), residential and industrial land, and cultivated land increased. The grassland SOC density in 0–100 cm depth varied with the coverage in a descending order of HCG>MCG>LCG.The regional grassland SOC storage in the depth of 0–100 cm in 2013 increased by 0.25×1011 kg compared with that in 2000. The regional vegetation carbon storage(S_(rvc)) of grassland was 5.27×10~9 kg in2013 and decreased by 15.7% compared to that in 2000. The vegetation carbon reserves of the under-ground parts of vegetation(S_(ruvb)) in 2013 was 0.68×10~9 kg and increased by approximately 19.01%compared to that in 2000. | 6 | Spatial Variability of Soil Carbon to Nitrogen Ratio and Its Driving Factors in Ili River Valley,Xinjiang,Northwest China显示文摘Soil carbon to nitrogen(C/N) ratio is one of the most important variables reflecting soil quality and ecological function,and an indicator for assessing carbon and nitrogen nutrition balance of soils.Its variation reflects the carbon and nitrogen cycling of soils.In order to explore the spatial variability of soil C/N ratio and its controlling factors of the Ili River valley in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,Northwest China,the traditional statistical methods,including correlation analysis,geostatistic alanalys and multiple regression analysis were used.The statistical results showed that the soil C/N ratio varied from 7.00 to 23.11,with a mean value of 10.92,and the coefficient of variation was 31.3%.Correlation analysis showed that longitude,altitude,precipitation,soil water,organic carbon,and total nitrogen were positively correlated with the soil C/N ratio(P < 0.01),whereas negative correlations were found between the soil C/N ratio and latitude,temperature,soil bulk density and soil p H.Ordinary Cokriging interpolation showed that r and ME were 0.73 and 0.57,respectively,indicating that the prediction accuracy was high.The spatial autocorrelation of the soil C/N ratio was 6.4 km,and the nugget effect of the soil C/N ratio was 10% with a patchy distribution,in which the area with high value(12.00–20.41) accounted for 22.6% of the total area.Land uses changed the soil C/N ratio with the order of cultivated land > grass land > forest land > garden.Multiple regression analysis showed that geographical and climatic factors,and soil physical and chemical properties could independently explain 26.8%and 55.4% of the spatial features of soil C/N ratio,while human activities could independently explain 5.4% of the spatial features only.The spatial distribution of soil C/N ratio in the study has important reference value for managing soil carbon and nitrogen,and for improving ecological function to similar regions. | SUN Guojun LI Weihong ZHU Chenggang CHEN Yaning | 2017 | Chinese Geographical Science2017,27,4: | 4 |

| 20 | Liver Fibrosis Scoring Systems as Novel Tools for Predicting Recurrent Cardiovascular Events in Patients with a Prior Cardiovascular Event显示文摘Objective:Regarding the secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease(CVD),there is great interest in preventing recurrent cardiovascular events(RCVEs).The prognostic importance of liver fibrosis scores(LFSs)has previously been reported in variousCVDs.We hypothesized that LFSs might also be useful predictors for RCVEs in patients with prior cardiovascular events(CVEs).Herein,we aimed to evaluate the associations of LFSs with RCVEs in a large,real-world cohort of coronary artery disease(CAD)patients with a prior CVE.Methods:In this multicenter prospective study,6527 consecutive patients with angiography-diagnosed CAD who had experienced a prior CVE(acute coronary syndrome,stroke,percutaneous coronary intervention,or coronary artery bypass grafting)were enrolled.LFSs were computed according to the published formulas:non-alcoholic fatty liver disease fibrosis score(NFS)includes age,body mass index(BMI),impaired fasting glycemia or diabetes mellitus(DM),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)/alanine aminotransferase(ALT)ratio,platelets,and albumin;fibrosis-4(FIB-4)includes age,AST,ALT,and platelets;Forns score includes age,gamma-glutamyltransferase(GGT),and platelets;BARD includes BMI,AST/ALT ratio,and DM;GGT/platelet ratio includes GGT and platelets;AST/ALT ratio includes AST and ALT;and AST/platelet ratio index includes AST and platelets.The originally reported cutoffs were used for the categorization of low-,intermediate-,and high-score subgroups.All patients were followed up for the occurrence of RCVEs(comprising cardiovascular death,non-fatal myocardial infarction,and stroke).Cox and Poisson regression analyses were used to assess the relationship of baseline LFSs with the risk of RCVE.Results:During a mean follow-up of(54.67±18.80)months,532(8.2%)RCVEs were recorded.Intermediate and high NFS,FIB-4,Forns,and BARD scores were independently associated with an increased risk of RCVE(hazard ratios ranging from 1.42 to 1.75 for intermediate scores and 1.35 to 2.52 for high scores).In the subgroup analyses of sex,age,BMI,DM,and hypertension status,the increased risk of RCVEs with high LFSs(NFS,FIB-4,Forns,and BARD)was maintained across the different subgroups(all P<0.05).Conclusion:This study showed that LFSs are indeed independently associated with RCVEs,suggesting that LFSs may be used as novel tools for risk stratification in CAD patients with a prior CVE. | Huihui Liu Yexuan Cao Jinglu Jin Yuanlin Guo Chenggang Zhu Naqiong Wu Qi Hua Yanfang Li Lifeng Hong Qian Dong Jianjun Li | 2021 | Cardiology Discovery2021,1,4: | 1 |
