1Nucleocytoplasmic Trafficking of the Arabidopsis WD40 Repeat Protein XIW1 Regulates ABI5 Stability and Abscisic Acid Responses显示文摘WD40 repeat-containing proteins(WD40 proteins)serve as versatile scaffolds for protein-protein interac-tions,modulating a variety of cellular processes such as plant stress and hormone responses.Here we report the identification of a WD40 protein,XIW1(for XPO1-interacting WD40 protein 1),which positively regulates the abscisic acid(ABA)response in Arabidopsis.XIW1 is located in the cytoplasm and nucleus.We found that it interacts with the nuclear transport receptor XPO1 and is exported by XPO1 from the nucleus.Mutation of XIW1 reduces the induction of ABA-responsive genes and the accumulation of ABA Insensitive 5(ABI5),causing mutant plants with ABA-insensitive phenotypes during seed germination and seedling growth,and decreased drought stress resistance.ABA treatment upregulates the expression of XIW1,and both ABA and abiotic stresses promote XIW1 accumulation in the nucleus,where it interacts with ABI5.Loss of XIW1 function results in rapid proteasomal degradation of ABI5.Taken together,these findings suggest that XIW1 is a nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein and plays a positive role in ABA responses by interacting with and maintaining the stability of ABI5 in the nucleus.Xuezhong XU Wang Wan Guobin Jiang Yue Xi Haijian Huang Jiajia Cai Yanan Chang Cheng-Guo Duan Satendra KMangrauthia Xinxiang Peng Jian-Kang Zhu Guohui Zhu 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,12:8
2Retrieval and Analysis of Coal Fire Temperature in Wuda Coalfield, Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘Coal fire burning around the world is an environmental catastrophe characterized by the emission of noxious gases, particulate matter, and condensation by-products. In this study, coal fire temperature is retrieved based on Landsat 5 TM images and Generalized Single-Channel Algorithm (GSCA), in Wuda coalfield, Inner Mongolia, China. Then coal fire zones are extracted by Jenks′ natural breaks and threshold methods based on temperature images. Changes of coal fire zones are analyzed from 1989 to 2008. The results are summarized as follows: 1) The coal fire temperature retrieval method based on Landsat 5 TM and the GSCA model is effective and feasible, because the temperature error is relatively small (from –2.9℃ to +2.6℃) between the measured temperature and the retrieved temperature. 2) The accuracy is relatively high to extract coal fire zones through the Jenks′ natural breaks and threshold methods, because 83.56% of surveyed area is located in the coal fire zones extracted in 2005. 3) The coal fire area increased 9.81 × 10 5 m 2 from 1989 to 2005, and the annual growth is about 6.1 × 10 4 m 2 , with an annual increasing rate of 2.48%. 3Correlation between the physical parameters and the electrochemical performance of a silicon anode in lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Lithium-ion battery anode used as silicon particles were obtained from different major suppliers,and they were characterized by different spectroscopic techniques and evaluated by electrochemical experiments.Correlations between the key physical parameters and electrochemical properties of the silicon particles were investigated.Silicon particle size,surface oxygen content,-OH content and physical appearance are found to strongly influence the electrochemical properties of the Si anode.The particle size of 100 nm has great promise for the practical application of Si nanoparticles in the lithium-ion battery industry.An inverse correlation between the oxygen content and the reversible capacity or first coulombic efficiency was obtained.The-OH content by surface treatment contributes to enhanced cycling stability by the improved affinity between the Si particle and the water-soluble binder.Spherical Si particles perform better compared to irregular particles,and agglomeration dramatically decreases the cycling stability of the Si anode.Among the investigated Si particles,the sample that exhibited a reversible capacity of more than 2500 mAh g^(-1),a first coulombic efficiency of 89.26%and an excellent cycling stability,has great potential for use in the battery industry.Guobin Zhu Yan Wang Siming Yang Qunting Qu Honghe Zheng 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,2:2

7Design and development of real-time query platform for big data based on hadoop显示文摘This paper designs and develops a framework on a distributed computing platform for massive multi-source spatial data using a column-oriented database(HBase).This platform consists of four layers including ETL(extraction transformation loading) tier,data processing tier,data storage tier and data display tier,achieving long-term store,real-time analysis and inquiry for massive data.Finally,a real dataset cluster is simulated,which are made up of 39 nodes including 2 master nodes and 37 data nodes,and performing function tests of data importing module and real-time query module,and performance tests of HDFS's I/O,the MapReduce cluster,batch-loading and real-time query of massive data.The test results indicate that this platform achieves high performance in terms of response time and linear scalability.刘小利 Xu Pandeng Liu Mingliang Zhu Guobin 2015High Technology Letters2015,21,2:1

20Distortion minimization for multimedia transmission in NOMA HAP-UAV integrated aerial access networks显示文摘Aerial access networks have been envisioned as a promising 6G solution to enhance the ground communication systems in both coverage and capacity. To better utilize the spectrum and fully explore different channel characteristics, this paper constructs an integrated network comprising the High Altitude Platform(HAP) and Unmanned Air Vehicles(UAVs) with the NonOrthogonal Multiple Access(NOMA) technology. In order to improve the transmission quality of images and videos, a power management scheme is proposed to minimize the distortion of the transmissions from the HAP and UAVs to the terminals. The power control is formulated as a non-convex problem constrained by the maximal transmit power and the minimal terminal rate requirements. The variable substitution and the first-order Tailor’s expansion is used to transform it into a sequence of convex problems, which are subsequently solved through the gradient projection method.
