1Compliance verification and probabilistic analysis of state-wide power quality monitoring data显示文摘This paper introduces the implementation and data analysis associated with a state-wide power quality monitoring and analysis system in China. Corporation specifications on power quality monitors as well as on communication protocols are formulated for data transmission. Big data platform and related technologies are utilized for data storage and computation. 2Detection of cognitive impairment in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome using mismatch negativity显示文摘In this experiment,97 patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome were divided into three groups(mild,moderate,severe) according to minimum oxygen saturation,and 35 healthy subjects were examined as controls.Cognitive function was determined using the mismatch negativity paradigm and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment.The results revealed that as the disease worsened,the mismatch negativity latency was gradually extended,and the amplitude gradually declined in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome.Importantly,mismatch negativity latency in severe patients with a persistent time of minimum oxygen saturation < 60 seconds was significantly shorter than that with a persistent time of minimum oxygen saturation > 60 seconds.Correlation analysis revealed a negative correlation between minimum oxygen saturation latency and Montreal Cognitive Assessment scores.These findings indicate that intermittent night-time hypoxemia affects mismatch negativity waveforms and Montreal Cognitive Assessment scores.As indicators for detecting the cognitive functional status of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome patients,the sensitivity of mismatch negativity is 82.93%,the specificity is 73.33%,the accuracy rate is 81.52%,the positive predictive value is 85.00%,the negative predictive value is 70.21%,the positive likelihood ratio is 3,and the negative likelihood ratio is 0.23.These results indicate that mismatch negativity can be used as an effective tool for diagnosis of cognitive dysfunction in obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome patients.Xiaohui Wen Ningyu Wang Jinfeng Liu Zhanfeng Yan Zhonghai Xin 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,20:6
3Interactive effects of understory removal and fertilization on soil respiration in subtropical Eucalyptus plantations显示文摘Aims It has been well recognized that understory vegetation plays an important role in driving forest ecosystem processes and functioning.In subtropical plantation forests,understory removal and fertiliza-tion have been widely applied;however,our understanding on how understory removal affects soil respiration and how the process is regulated by fertilization is limited.Here,we conducted an under-story removal experiment combined with fertilization to evaluate the effects of the two forest management practices and their inter-actions on soil respiration in subtropical forest in southern China.Methods The study was conducted in a split-plot design with fertilization as the whole-plot factor,understory removal as the subplot factor and block as the random factor in subtropical Eucalyptus plantations.In total,there were four treatments:control with unfertilized and intact understory(CK),understory removal but without fertilization(UR),with fertilization but without understory removal(FT)and with fertilization+understory removal(FT+UR).Eucalyptus above-and belowground biomass increment,fine root biomass,soil tempera-ture,soil moisture and soil respiration were measured in the present study.understory respiration(Ru)was quantified in different ways:Ru=RCK−Ru or Ru=RFT−R(FT+u);fertilization increased soil respiration(RFI)was also quantified in different ways:RFI=RFT−RCK or RFI=R(FT+u)−Ru.Important Findingsover a 2-year experiment,our data indicate that understory removal significantly decreased soil respiration,while fertilization increased soil respiration.understory removal decreased soil respiration by 28.8%under fertilization,but only 15.2%without fertilization.Fertilization significantly increased soil respiration by 23.6%with the presence of understory vegetation,and only increased by 3.7%when understory was removed,indicating that fertilization increased soil respiration mainly by increasing the contribution of the understory.our study advances our understanding of the interactive effects of understory management and fertilization on soil respiration in subtropical plantations.Songze Wan Chenlu Zhang Yuanqi Chen Jie Zhao Xiaolin Zhu Jianping Wu Lixia Zhou Yongbiao Lin Zhanfeng Liu Shenglei Fu 2015Journal of Plant Ecology2015,8,3:6
4Spatial Distribution of Land Cover and Vegetation Activity along Topographic Gradient in an Arid River Valley, SW China显示文摘Anthropogenic activities have become more and more important in characterizing the landscape, but their impacts are still restricted by natural environments. This paper discusses the interactions of anthropogenic activity, vegetation activity and topography through describing the spatial distribution of land cover and vegetation activity (represented by Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, NDVI) along topographic gradient in a mountainous area of southwestern China. Our results indicate that the existing landscape pattern is controlled by anthropogenic activities as well as topographic factors. Intensive anthropogenic activities mainly occur in areas with relatively low elevation, gentle and concave slopes, as these areas are easy and convenient to attain for human. Because of the destruction by human, some land cover types (mainly grassland and shrub) are only found in relatively harsher environments. This study also finds that topographic wetness index (W) used in other places only reflects runoff generation capacity, but not indicate the real spatial pattern of soil water content in this area. The relationships between NDVI and W, and NDVI and length slope factor (LSF) show that runoff and erosion have complex effects on vegetation activity. Greater values of W and LSF will lead to stronger capacity to produce runoff and transport sediment, and thereby increase soil water content and soil deposition, whereas beyond a certain threshold runoff and erosion are so strong that they would destruct vegetation growth. 5The Averaged-value Model of a Flexible Power Electronics Based Substation in Hybrid AC/DC Distribution Systems显示文摘The concept of a flexible power electronics substation(FPES)was first applied in the Zhangbei DC distribution network demonstration project.As a multi-port power electronics transformer(PET)with different AC and DC voltage levels,the FPES has adopted a novel topology integrating modular multilevel converter(MMC)and four-winding medium frequency transformer(FWMFT)based multiport DC-DC converter,which can significantly reduce capacitance in each sub-module(SM)of a MMC and also save space and cost.In this paper,in order to accelerate speed of electromagnetic transient(EMT)simulations of FPES based hybrid AC/DC distribution systems,an averaged-value model(AVM)is proposed for efficient and accurate representation of FPES.Assume that all SM capacitor voltages are perfectly balanced in the MMC,then the MMC behavior can be modeled using controlled voltage sources based on modulation voltages from control systems.In terms of the averaged current transfer characteristics among the windings of the FWMFT,we consider that all multiport DC-DC converters are controlled with the same dynamics,a lumped averaged model using controlled current and voltage sources has been developed for these four-port DC-DC converters connected to the upper or lower arms of the MMC.The presented FPES AVM model has been tested and validated by comparison with a detailed IGBT-based EMT model.Results show that the AVM is significantly more efficient while maintaining its accuracy in an EMT simulation.Hong Liu Zhanfeng Deng Xialin Li Li Guo Di Huang Shouqiang Fu Xiangyu Chen Chengshan Wang 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,2:2
6Vacancy manipulating of molybdenum carbide MXenes to enhance Faraday reaction for high performance lithium-ion batteries显示文摘“Intrinsic”strategies for manipulating the local electronic structure and coordination environment of defect-regulated materials can optimize electrochemical storage performance.Nevertheless,the structure–activity relationship between defects and charge storage is ambiguous,which may be revealed by constructing highly ordered vacancy structures.Herein,we demonstrate molybdenum carbide MXene nanosheets with customized in-plane chemical ordered vacancies(Mo_(1.33)CT_(x)),by utilizing selective etching strategies.Synchrotron-based X-ray characterizations reveal that Mo atoms in Mo1.33CTx show increased average valence of+4.44 compared with the control Mo_(2)CT_(x).Benefited from the introduced atomic active sites and high valence of Mo,Mo_(1.33)CT_(x)achieves an outstanding capacity of 603 mAh·g^(−1)at 0.2 A·g^(−1),superior to most original MXenes.Li+storage kinetics analysis and density functional theory(DFT)simulations show that this optimized performance ensues from the more charge compensation during charge–discharge process,which enhances Faraday reaction compared with pure Mo_(2)CT_(x).This vacancy manipulation provides an efficient way to realize MXene’s potential as promising electrodes.Xin Guo Changda Wang Wenjie Wang Quan Zhou Wenjie Xu Pengjun Zhang Shiqiang Wei Yuyang Cao Kefu Zhu Zhanfeng Liu Xiya Yang Yixiu Wang Xiaojun Wu Li Song Shuangming Chen Xiaosong Liu 2022Nano Research Energy2022,1,3:2
7Target alignment in the Shen-Guang Ⅱ Upgrade laser facility显示文摘The Shen-Guang II Upgrade(SG-Ⅱ-U) laser facility consists of eight high-power nanosecond laser beams and one shortpulse picosecond petawatt laser. It is designed for the study of inertial confinement fusion(ICF), especially for conducting fast ignition(FI) research in China and other basic science experiments. To perform FI successfully with hohlraum targets containing a golden cone, the long-pulse beam and cylindrical hohlraum as well as the short-pulse beam and cone target alignment must satisfy tight specifications(30 and 20 μm rms for each case). To explore new ICF ignition targets with six laser entrance holes(LEHs), a rotation sensor was adapted to meet the requirements of a three-dimensional target and correct beam alignment. In this paper, the strategy for aligning the nanosecond beam based on target alignment sensor(TAS) is introduced and improved to meet requirements of the picosecond lasers and the new six LEHs hohlraum targets in the SG-II-U facility. 9A modified predictive control strategy of three-phase grid-connected converters with optimized action time sequence显示文摘Due to the excellent dynamic performance,the Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control has been widely used in various types of converters.However,when Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control is adopted,the switching frequency of converters varies significantly with system operating conditions.Consequently,constant-frequency predictive control strategy has been proposed.Two active voltage vectors and a zero voltage vector are selected within each sampling period.The action time sequence is then calculated.Due to the unsymmetrical distribution of current variation rates around zero,the calculated value of the voltage-vector action time will turn up negative.According to common sense,the voltage-vector action time is greater than or equal to zero.The action time is normally forced to zero whenever a negative value is predicted,resulting in the control failure and performance deterioration.To solve this problem,this paper proposes modified strategy.The modified strategy examines the action time calculated out.When negative action time comes out,the modified strategy reselects the active voltage vector accordingly,instead of forcing the action time to be zero.Optimized action time sequence is further determined by minimizing the cost function.The effectiveness of the modified strategy is clearly verified by experimental tests,and analytical remarks are all founded in practical results.SONG ZhanFeng XIA ChangLiang LIU Tao DONG Nan 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,4:1

15Dynamic evaluation of water resources carrying capacity of the Dianchi Lake Basin in 2005-2015,based on DSPERM framework model and simulated annealing-projection pursuit model显示文摘With the intensi fed impact of human activities,most lakes have been severely disturbed and the lake ecosystem has been seriously damaged,which exerted a great impact on the living envi-ronment of human beings in the lake basins.The health of the lake ecosystem has gradually become one of the hot issues in recent years.In this study,the water resources carrying capacity(WRCC)was used to reveal the chain rel ationship between human activities and water environ-ment in the economic dewelopment of the Dianchi Lake Basin in Kunming City of China during 2005-2015.Specifically,we chose 25 ewaluation indicators related to the water environment and socialeconomic activities,classified them into six subsystems,Le,the driwing force subsystem(D),the water resources si tuation and consumption subsystem(S),the water resources pressure subsystem(P),the water environmental situation subsystem(E),the response subsystem(R),and the management subsystem(M),and built a comprehensive assessment system-DSPERM frame-work model.Si mulated annealing-projection pursuit model which reflects the structure or feature of high-dimensional data was adopted to calculate the WRCC of the Dianchi Lake Basin during 2005-2015 by weighting each evaluation indicator and each subsystem of the DSPERM frame work model.The resuls show that the WRCC of the Dlanchi Lake Basin was in level II(medium carying capacity)from 2005 to 2012.Since 2013,the WRCC has been at level II(strong carying capacity),and from 2005 to 2015,it showed a gradual upward trend.The evaluation indicators of each subsystem varied greatly and exhibited different development trends.The indicators of the water resources pressure subsystem had the greatest impact on the WRCC,followed by the in-dicators of the water environmental si tuation subsystem and the water resources situation and consumption subsystem.We recommend that the DSPERM framework model and the simulated anneal ing-projection pursuit model constructed in this work can be used to analyze the dynamic changes of the WRCC over the years.They have the advantages of practicability and feasibilty,and can provide the basis for the scienti fic decision-making and comprehensive management of regional water environment planning.Jiayang Wang Xiaoqin Mu Shouji Chen Wei Liu Zhuo Wang Zhanfeng Dong 2021Regional Sustainability2021,2,2:1
16Superconducting properties and topological nodal lines features in centrosymmetric Sn_(0.5)TaSe_(2)显示文摘Nontrivial topological behaviors in superconducting materials provide resourceful ground for the emergence and study of unconventional quantum states.Charge doping by the controlled intercalation of donor atoms is an efficient route for enhancing/inducement of superconducting and topological behaviors in layered topological insulators and semimetals.Herein,we enhanced the superconducting temperature of TaSe_(2) by 20-folds(~3 K)through Sn atoms intercalation.Using first-principles calculations,we demonstrated the existence of nontrivial topological features.Sn_(0.5)TaSe_(2) displays topological nodal lines around the K high symmetry point in the Brillouin zone,with drumhead-like shaped surface states protected by inversion symmetry.Altogether,the coexistence of these properties makes Sn_(0.5)TaSe_(2) a potential candidate for topological superconductivity.Mukhtar LAdam Zhanfeng Liu Oyawale A.Moses Xiaojun Wu Li Song 2021Nano Research2021,14,8:1
17Oral nano-antioxidants improve sleep by restoring intestinal barrier integrity and preventing systemic inflammation显示文摘Sleep deprivation(SD)is a severe public health threat that can cause systemic inflammation and nerve damage.Few effective and side-effect-free drugs are available to address SD.However,the bidirectional communications between the brain and gut provide new strategies for anti-SD therapeutics.Here we explored oral delivery of fullerene nano-antioxidants(FNAO)in the SD model to improve sleep by regulating abnormal intestinal barrier and systemic inflammation via the brain-gut axis.SD caused excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)production and hyperactive inflammatory responses in the intestines of zebrafish and mouse models,leading to disturbed sleep patterns and reduced brain nerve activity.Of note,based on the property of the conjugatedπbond of the C_(60)structure to absorb unpaired electrons,oral FNAO efficiently reduced the excessive ROS in the intestines,maintained redox homeostasis and intestinal barrier integrity,and ameliorated intestinal and systemic inflammation,resulting in superior sleep improvement.Our findings suggest that maintaining intestinal homeostasis may be a promising avenue for SD-related nerve injury therapy.Zhanfeng Wu Lei Liu Lei Li Xinran Cao Wang Jia Xiaodan Liao Zhongpu Zhao Hedong Qi Guoqiang Fan Huiqiang Lu Chunying Shu Mingming Zhen Chunru Wang Chunli Bai 2023National Science Review2023,10,12:1

20Charge density wave phase suppression in 1T-TiSe_(2) through Sn intercalation显示文摘Taking advantage of the unique layered structure of TiSe2,the intrinsic electronic properties of two-dimensional materials can easily be tuned via heteroatomic engineering.Herein,we show that the charge density wave(CDW)phase in 1T-TiSe_(2) single-crystals can be gradually suppressed through Sn atoms intercalation.Using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES)and temperature-dependent resistivity measurements,this work reveals that Sn atoms can induce charge doping and modulate the intrinsic electronic properties in the host 1T-TiSe_(2).Notably,our temperature-dependent ARPES results highlight the role exciton-phonon interaction and the Jahn-Teller mechanism through the formation of backfolded bands and exhibition of a downward Se shift of 4p valence band in the formation of CDW in this material.Mukhtar Lawan Adam Hongen Zhu Zhanfeng Liu Shengtao Cui Pengjun Zhang Yi Liu Guobin Zhang Xiaojun Wu Zhe Sun Li Song 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:1
