| 1 | Evaluation of human response to blasting vibration from excavation of a large scale rock slope:A case study显示文摘Ground vibration, as the most critical public hazard of blasting, has received much attention from the community. Many countries established national standards to suppress vibration impact on structures, but a world-accepted blasting vibration criterion on human safety is still missing. In order to evaluate human response to the vibration from blasting excavation of a large-scale rock slope in China, this study aims to suggest a revised criterion. The vibration frequency was introduced to improve the existing single-factor(peak particle velocity) standard recommended by the United States Bureau of Mines(USBM). The feasibility of the new criterion was checked based on field vibration monitoring and investigation of human reactions. Moreover, the air overpressure or blast effects on human beings have also been discussed. The result indicates that the entire zone of influence can be divided into three subzones: severe-annoyance, light-annoyance and perception zone according to the revised safety standard. Both the construction company and local residents have provided positive comments on this influence degree assessment, which indicates that the presented criterion is suitable for evaluating human response to nearby blasts. | 2 | A new strategy to iteratively update scalable universal quantitative models for the testing of azithromycin by near infrared spectroscopy显示文摘The training set of a universal near infrared (NIR) model for quantitative analysis of a drug should cover as many samples of this drug in the market as possible. Inevitably the model may fail for new products that have different excipients and production processes. In such circumstances the model should be updated. We here propose a new strategy to iteratively update a universal NIR quantitative model for azithromycin. We prove that universal quantitative models generated from this new strategy are comparably effective for azithromycin injection powders and azithromycin tablets, compared to the strategy using hierarchical clustering method which we reported previously. | 5 | Optical and electrical properties of a spiral LED filament显示文摘This paper introduces a new type of spiral white light-emitting diodes(WLED) filament with high luminous efficiency and uniform optical performance. The optical and thermal properties of the flexible filament were investigated at different stretching heights, namely 0, 1, 2, and 3 cm. The results indicated that the filament showed the best optical characteristics at the stretching height of 2 cm, because of good heat dissipation. In addition, the radiation temperature of the filament was inversely proportional to the output luminous flux. The reliability of the filament at a stretching height of 2 cm was also evaluated after 1000 h of use. The result demonstrated that the luminous flux decay of the bulb was only 0.85%. | 7 | Quantitative prediction and evaluation of geothermal resource areas in the southwest section of the Mid-Spine Belt of Beautiful China显示文摘The geothermal resources in the southwest section of the Mid-Spine Belt of Beautiful China are abundant,but the quantitative prediction and evaluation of geothermal resources are very difficult. Based on geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing (RS) platforms,six impact factors,namely land surface temperature,fault density,Gutenberg–Liszt B value,formation combination entropy,distance to river and aeromagnetic anomaly were selected. Through the establishment of the certainty factor model (CF),weights of the information entropy certainty factor model (ICF) and weights of the evidence certainty factor model (ECF),the geothermal potential in the study area were predicted quantitatively. Based on the ECF results,the six main geothermal resource areas were delineated. The results show that (1) ECF had high prediction accuracy (success index is 0.00405%,area ratio is 0.867);(2) The geothermal resource areas obtained were Ganzi–Ya’an–Liangshan,Panzhihua–Liangshan,Dali–Chuxiong,Nujiang–Baoshan,Diqing–Dali,and Lijiang–Diqing. | 9 | Multi-technique integration separation frameworks after steam reforming for coal-based hydrogen generation显示文摘Coal-based H2 generation has abruptly increased in recent years.The PSA-VPSA-SC process is the matured and standard framework for H2 purification and CO_(2) capture in many existing plants,including normal and vacuum pressure swing adsorption units in series(PSA-VPSA),and shallow condensation unit(SC).However,this standard process is frequently subjected to low H2 recovery ratio and high purification cost.In this work,H2-selective and C02-selective membrane units,i.e.,HM and CO_(2) M,are attempted to support the standard process and ameliorate constraints.In the beginning,HM unit is arranged after VPSA to enhance H2 recovery from the decarbonized stream,i.e.,the PSA-VPSA-SC/HM process.As a result,H2 recovery ratio can be enhanced significantly from 83%to 98%.In the following,VPSA is replaced with CO_(2) M unit to reduce investment and operation cost,i.e.,the PSA-CO_(2) M-SC/HM process.Accordingly,the specific purification cost is diminished from 33.46 to 32.02 USD·(103 m^(3) H_(2))-1,saved by 4.3%,meanwhile the construction cost is falling back and just a little higher than that for the standard process.In the end,another CO_(2) M unit is launched before PSA,i.e.,the CO_(2) M-PSA-CO_(2) M-SC/HM process,which could unbundle CO_(2) enrichment partially from H2 purification,and then save more investment and operation cost.In comparison with the standard process,this ultimate retrofitted process can be superior in all the three crucial indices,i.e.,recovery ratio,investment,and specific purification cost.On the whole,coal-based H2 generation can be ameliorated significantly through high efficient H2-selective and CO_(2)-selective membrane units. | Xuehua Ruan Wenbo Huo Jiaming Wang Minggang Guo Wenji Zheng Yun Zou Aibin Huang Jianxiang Shou Gaohong He | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,7: | 1 |

| 17 | Effect of phosphor sedimentation on photochromic properties of a warm white light-emitting diode显示文摘In the process of producing a white light emitting diode, the consistency of the optical coherence and stability of the photochromic properties is a crucial index for measuring the quality of the product. Phosphor sedimentation is a significant factor affecting optical coherence, thus, in this paper, seven sets of control experiments were set up with the phenomenon of the phosphor precipitation at time intervals 0, 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, and 40 min.The color coordination concentration and optical properties were also tested. The results indicate that phosphor sedimentation occurs between 0 and 20 min, during which the color coordinate placement is concentrated, the central coordinates are(x = 0.4432 ± 0.004, y = 0.4052±0.002); the quality was verified because the supply demand chain management(SDCM) was no greater than 7.
