1HTDet:A Clustering Method Using Information Entropy for Hardware Trojan Detection显示文摘Hardware Trojans(HTs)have drawn increasing attention in both academia and industry because of their significant potential threat.In this paper,we propose HTDet,a novel HT detection method using information entropybased clustering.To maintain high concealment,HTs are usually inserted in the regions with low controllability and low observability,which will result in that Trojan logics have extremely low transitions during the simulation.This implies that the regions with the low transitions will provide much more abundant and more important information for HT detection.The HTDet applies information theory technology and a density-based clustering algorithm called Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise(DBSCAN)to detect all suspicious Trojan logics in the circuit under detection.The DBSCAN is an unsupervised learning algorithm,that can improve the applicability of HTDet.In addition,we develop a heuristic test pattern generation method using mutual information to increase the transitions of suspicious Trojan logics.Experiments on circuit benchmarks demonstrate the effectiveness of HTDet.Renjie Lu Haihua Shen Zhihua Feng Huawei Li Wei Zhao Xiaowei Li 2021Tsinghua Science and Technology2021,26,1:4

3Simultaneous gene editing of three homoeoalleles in self-incompatible allohexaploid grasses显示文摘Clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9(Cas9)system has been widely used for precise gene editing in plants.However,simultaneous gene editing of multiple homoeoalleles remains challenging,especially in self-incompatible polyploid plants.Here,we simultaneously introduced targeted mutations in all three homoeoalleles of two genes in the self-incompatible allohexaploid tall fescue,using both CRISPR/Cas9 and LbCas12a(LbCpf1)systems.Loss-of-function mutants of FaPDS exhibited albino leaves,while knockout of FaHSP17.9 resulted in impaired heat resistance in T0 generation of tall fescue.Moreover,these mutations were inheritable.Our findings demonstrate the feasibility of generating loss-of-function mutants in T0 generation polyploid perennial grasses using CRISPR/Cas systems.Liang Zhang Tao Wang Guangyang Wang Aoyue Bi Misganaw Wassie Yan Xie Liwen Cao Huawei Xu Jinmin Fu Liang Chen Yang Zhao Tao Hu 2021Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,8:3
4PtNi-W/C with Atomically Dispersed Tungsten Sites Toward Boosted ORR in Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Devices显示文摘The performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cells is heavily dependent on the microstructure of electrode catalyst especially at low catalyst loadings.This work shows a hybrid electrocatalyst consisting of PtNi-W alloy nanocrystals loaded on carbon surface with atomically dispersed W sites by a two-step straightforward method.Single-atomic W can be found on the carbon surface,which can form protonic acid sites and establish an extended proton transport network at the catalyst surface.When implemented in membrane electrode assembly as cathode at ultra-low loading of 0.05 mgPt cm^(−2),the peak power density of the cell is enhanced by 64.4%compared to that with the commercial Pt/C catalyst.The theoretical calculation suggests that the single-atomic W possesses a favorable energetics toward the formation of*OOH whereby the intermediates can be efficiently converted and further reduced to water,revealing a interfacial cascade catalysis facilitated by the single-atomic W.This work highlights a novel functional hybrid electrocatalyst design from the atomic level that enables to solve the bottle-neck issues at device level.Huawei Wang Jialong Gao Changli Chen Wei Zhao Zihou Zhang Dong Li Ying Chen Chenyue Wang Cheng Zhu Xiaoxing Ke Jiajing Pei Juncai Dong Qi Chen Haibo Jin Maorong Chai Yujing Li 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,9:3
5The Effect of 2,5-hexanedione on Myelin Protein Zero Expression,and Its Mitigation Using Ginkgo Biloba Extract显示文摘Objective To investigate the role of myelin protein zero (P 0) in 2,5-hexanedione (2,5-HD)-induced peripheral nerve injury,and the protective effect of Ginkgo biloba extract (Egb761) on 2,5-HD-induced toxic peripheral neuropathy.Methods After 4 weeks of treatment with 2,5-HD at different doses (50,100,200,400 mg/kg) in rats,changes in the levels of P 0 in rat sciatic nerves was investigated,and the effect of Egb761 on 2,5-HD-induced toxic peripheral neuropathy was studied.Results The blood-nerve barrier (BNB) permeability of the sciatic nerve increased,and the expression of P 0 mRNA and P 0 protein decreased in a dose-dependent manner after treatment with 2,5-HD for 4 weeks.Pretreatment with Egb761 protected against BNB interruption,and inhibited P 0 mRNA and protein reduction during 2,5-HD treatment.Pretreatment with Egb761 significantly reduced loss of body weight (P<0.01) and mitigated gait abnormalities (2.85±0.22) induced by 400 mg/kg 2,5-HD (P<0.01).It also reduced the signs of neurotoxicity induced by 2,5-HD.Conclusion 2,5-HD inhibited the expression of P 0 in a dose-dependent manner,and this may be an important mechanism by which toxic peripheral neuropathy is induced by 2,5-HD.Egb761 has a protective effect against 2,5-HD-induced peripheral neurotoxicity in rats.ZHAO Lei LIU QingJun CHEN Hong DUAN HuaWei BIN Ping LIU Qing NIU Yong DAI YuFei ZHENG YuXin 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,4:3
6Surface plasmon polaritons based optical directional coupler显示文摘As a basic optical device, the optical directional coupler (ODC) is basically used as optical splitters, optic switches and so on. A novel ODC employing surface plas- mon polaritons (SPPs) is proposed for high integration. The finite difference time domain (FDTD) method is adopted to simulate and analyze its properties. Results show that the ODC proposed here follows the general regulations of a conventional dielectric ODC, but its transverse size is of nanoscale, which improves the optical integration greatly. For 1550 nm and 1310 nm input wavelengths, when the coupling region length (L) equals half of its coupling length, the Excess Loss is respectively 0.57 dB and 0.56 dB, which is practical in applications. 7A new electroplated Ir/Ir(OH)_x pH electrode and its application in the coastal areas of Newport Harbor, California显示文摘Resulting from the rising levels of atmospheric carbon, ocean acidification has become a global problem. It has significant impacts on the development, survival, growth and physiology of marine organisms. Therefore, a highprecision sensor is urgently needed to measure the pH of sea-water. Iridium wire with a diameter of 0.25 mm is used as the substrate, and an Ir/Ir(OH)_x pH electrode is prepared by a one-step electrochemical method in a Li OH solution at the room temperature. A scanning electron microscope(SEM) observation reveals that it is coated with nanoscale particles. In laboratory tests, the electrode exhibits a very promising pH response, with an ideal Nernst slope(56.14–59.52), fast response, good stability and long life-span in tested pH buffer solutions. For a sea trial,four pH electrodes and one Ag/Ag Cl reference electrode are integrated with a self-made chemical sensor, and a profile detection of nearly 70 m is implemented near Newport Harbor, California on August 3, 2015. The results reflect that the pH value measured by the sensor is very close to the data given by Sea-Bird 911 plus CTD, with a difference value ranging from 0.000 075 to 0.064 719. And the sensor shows a better data matching degree in 0–40m water depth. 8Astaxanthine attenuates cisplatin ototoxicity in vitro and protects against cisplatin-induced hearing loss in vivo显示文摘Astaxanthine(AST) has important biological activities including antioxidant and antiinflammatory effects that could alleviate neurological and heart diseases, but its role in the prevention of cisplatin-induced hearing loss(CIHL) is not yet well understood. In our study, a steady interaction between AST and the E3 ligase adapter Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1, a predominant repressor of nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(NRF2), was performed and tested via computer molecular docking and dynamics. AST protected against cisplatin-induced ototoxicity via NRF2 mediated pathwayusing quantitative PCR and Western blotting. The levels of reactive oxygen species(ROS) and mitochondrial membrane potential revealed that AST reduced ROS overexpression and mitochondrial dysfunction.Moreover, AST exerted anti-apoptosis effects in mouse cochlear explants using immunofluorescence staining and HEI-OC1 cell lines using quantitative PCR and Western blotting. Finally, AST combined with poloxamer was injected into the middle ear through the tympanum, and the protection against CIHL was evaluated using the acoustic brain stem test and immunofluorescent staining in adult mice. Our results suggest that AST reduced ROS overexpression, mitochondrial dysfunction, and apoptosis via NRF2-mediated pathway in cisplatin-exposed HEI-OC1 cell lines and mouse cochlear explants, finally promoting cell survival. 11The Impact of Green Finance on the Ecologicalization of Urban Industrial Structure-Based on GMM of Dynamic Panel System显示文摘Although a number of studies have been published in the general area on various factors affecting the ecologicalization of urban industrial structure,little work has been carried out for empirical studies quantitatively analyzing the relevance between green finance development and the ecologicalization of urban industrial structure.Therefore,based on a comprehensive index of green finance development,this research employs panel data of target cities1 for the period 2012–2020 to explore the influence of green finance on the ecologicalization of urban industrial structure.The empirical results show that green finance development significantly improves the ecologicalization level of urban industrial structure.In addition,it is found that green finance plays a stronger role in promoting the ecologicalization of industrial structure in economically developed regions than in economically underdeveloped regions2.The research results can provide a valuable policy reference for urban green financial market planning and green product innovation.Kai Lin Huawei Zhao 2022Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Technology2022,2,3:1

13Attacking contrast enhancement forensics in digital images显示文摘Currently,plenty of digital image forensic techniques have been proposed and used as diagnostic tools.It is urgent and significant to assess the reliability of such techniques applied in practical scenarios.In this paper,we investigate the security of existing digital image contrast enhancement(CE)forensic algorithms.From the standpoint of attackers,we propose two types of attacks,CE trace hiding attack and CE trace forging attack,which could invalidate the forensic detector and fabricate two types of forensic errors,respectively.The CE trace hiding attack is implemented by integrating local random dithering into the design of pixel value mapping.The CE trace forging attack is proposed by modifying the gray level histogram of a target pixel region to counterfeit peak/gap artifacts.Such trace forging attack is typically applied to create sophisticated composite images which could deceive the prior CE-based composition detectors.Extensive experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of our proposed CE anti-forensic schemes.CAO Gang ZHAO Yao NI RongRong TIAN HuaWei YU LiFang 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,5:1

15Cryptochrome 1 Inhibits Shoot Branching by Repressing the Self-Activated Transciption Loop of PIF4 in Arabidopsis显示文摘Cryptochrome 1(CRY1)is an important light receptor essential for de-etiolation of Arabidopsis seedlings.However,its function in regulating plant architecture remains unclear.Here,we show that mutation in CRY1 resulted in increased branching of Arabidopsis plants.To investigate the underlying mechanism,we analyzed the expression profiles of branching-related genes and found that the mRNA levels of Phytochrome Interaction Factor 4(PIF4)and PIF5 are significantly increased in the cry1 mutant.Genetic analysis showed that the pif4 or pif4pif5 mutant is epistatic to the cry1 mutant,and overexpression of PIF4 conferred increased branching.Moreover,we demonstrated that PIF4 proteins physically associate with the G-box motif within the PIF4 promoter to form a self-activated transcriptional feedback loop,while CRY1 represses this process in response to blue light.Taken together,this study suggests that the CRY1–PIF4 module regulates gene expression via forming a regulatory loop and shoot branching in response to ambient light conditions.Huawei Zhai Lu Xiong Hongyu Li Xiangguang Lyu Guodong Yang Tao Zhao Jun Liu Bin Liu 2020Plant Communications2020,1,3:1
