1Dissecting the role of AMP-activated protein kinase in human diseases显示文摘AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK), known as a sensor and a master of cellular energy balance, integrates various regulatory signals including anabolic and catabolic metabolic processes.Accompanying the application of genetic methods and a plethora of AMPK agonists, rapid progress has identified AMPK as an attractive therapeutic target for several human diseases, such as cancer, type2 diabetes, atherosclerosis, myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury and neurodegenerative disease. The role of AMPK in metabolic and energetic modulation both at the intracellular and whole body levels has been reviewed elsewhere. In the present review, we summarize and update the paradoxical role of AMPK implicated in the diseases mentioned above and put forward the challenge encountered. 5Effect of Preparation Process on Compressive Strength and Hydrogenation Performance of Raney-Ni/Al2O3 Catalyst显示文摘In this study, Raney-Ni/Al_2O_3 catalysts were prepared from precursors which were calcined in different atmosphere(argon and air) and leached for different time. XRD, SEM, H_2-TPR and BET techniques were introduced to characterize the catalysts, and hydrogenation of unsaturated hydrocarbons, including vinyltoluene, dicyclopentadiene and indene, was used as probe reaction to evaluate the catalytic hydrogenation performance of the catalysts. The results demonstrated that the calcination atmosphere had noticeable effects on the compressive strength and hydrogenation performance of Raney-Ni/Al_2O_3. The catalyst calcined in argon exhibited better compressive strength and catalytic performance than the one calcined in air. The compressive strength and activity stability of catalyst were also determined by the leaching time. A too longer leaching time was not conducive to improving the compressive strength and catalytic performance of catalysts. When the precursor calcined in argon was treated in a 15%(by wt.) sodium hydroxide solution at 343 K for 5 h, a catalyst with higher compressive strength(at 26.10 N/mm) was obtained and the conversion of vinyltoluene, dicyclopentadiene(DCPD), and indene could amount to more than 87.5%, 99% and even 100%, respectively, under the reaction conditions covering a temperature of 493 K, a hydrogen pressure of 2.0 MPa, a LSHV of 3.0 h^(-1), and a hydrogen/oil ratio of 200:1.Luo Guohua Wang Yanli Sun Daming Xu Xin Jin Haibo 2017China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2017,19,2:5

7The effect of operating conditions on acylation of 2-methylnaphthalene in a microchannel reactor显示文摘Acylation of 2-methylnaphthalene(2-MN) is a very important reaction in organic synthesis,and the effiency of the continuous reactor is more than one of the batch reactor.Considering that the Friedel–Crafts acylation is a rapid exothermic reaction,in this study,we perform the acylation of 2-MN in a stainless steel microchannel flow reactor,which is characterized by high mass and heat transfer rates.The effect of reactant ratio,mixing temperature,reaction temperature,and reaction time on product yield and selectivity were investigated.Under the optimal conditions,2-methyl-6-propionylnaphthalene(2,6-MPN) was obtained in 85.8% yield with 87.5% selectivity.Compared with the conventional batch system,the continuous flow microchannel reactor provides a more efficient method for the synthesis of 2,6-MPN.Wenpeng Li Suohe Yang Xiaoyan Guo Guangxiang He Haibo Jin 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,6:3
8PtNi-W/C with Atomically Dispersed Tungsten Sites Toward Boosted ORR in Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Devices显示文摘The performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cells is heavily dependent on the microstructure of electrode catalyst especially at low catalyst loadings.This work shows a hybrid electrocatalyst consisting of PtNi-W alloy nanocrystals loaded on carbon surface with atomically dispersed W sites by a two-step straightforward method.Single-atomic W can be found on the carbon surface,which can form protonic acid sites and establish an extended proton transport network at the catalyst surface.When implemented in membrane electrode assembly as cathode at ultra-low loading of 0.05 mgPt cm^(−2),the peak power density of the cell is enhanced by 64.4%compared to that with the commercial Pt/C catalyst.The theoretical calculation suggests that the single-atomic W possesses a favorable energetics toward the formation of*OOH whereby the intermediates can be efficiently converted and further reduced to water,revealing a interfacial cascade catalysis facilitated by the single-atomic W.This work highlights a novel functional hybrid electrocatalyst design from the atomic level that enables to solve the bottle-neck issues at device level.Huawei Wang Jialong Gao Changli Chen Wei Zhao Zihou Zhang Dong Li Ying Chen Chenyue Wang Cheng Zhu Xiaoxing Ke Jiajing Pei Juncai Dong Qi Chen Haibo Jin Maorong Chai Yujing Li 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,9:3

10Graphene Oxide Assemblies for Sustainable Clean-Water Harvesting and Green-Electricity Generation显示文摘CONSPECTUS:The urgent problems of water scarcity and the energy crisis have given rise to the development of a range of sustainable technologies with the great advancement of nanotechnologies and advent of attractive nanomaterials.Graphene oxides(GO),a derivative of graphene with an atom-thin thickness and abundant oxygen-containing functional groups(such as−OH,−COOH),are water-soluble and can be assembled into a variety of structures(such as fiber,membrane,and foam)with great potential in environmental and energy-related fields.As a typical precursor of graphene,GO can be easily reduced to graphene by chemical or thermal treatments to demonstrate excellent photothermal properties as well as tunable thermal conduction,which is highly desirable for efficient solar-driven water evaporation.The intrinsic large specific area of GO nanosheets can provide enough sites for ions adsorption and its porous assemblies facilitate the transport of water.In addition,the abundant functional groups allow the spontaneous adsorption of water molecules from the ambient environment and give birth to movable ions(usually protons)under the solvation effect.Once a chemical gradient is formed on the component,a remarkable electricity is generated from the directional transport of protons.Thanks to the excellent chemical properties of GO nanosheets,a wide range of assemblies with 1D aligned fibers,2D layered membranes and 3D porous foam can be easily fabricated by wet-spinning,solution-filtration,and freezingdrying methods.The various GO assemblies are able to exhibit abundant functions with remarkable weaving capability for GO fibers,superior flexibility for GO membranes,and exceptional adsorption capacity for GO foams.In light of all the advantages,GO and its assemblies are remarkably promising in the fields of sustainable development to meet the pressing challenges of water and energy crisis.In this Account,we will discuss the progress of clean-water production and green-electricity generation technologies based on GO assemblies.The fundamental working mechanism,optimization strategies,and promising applications are explored with an emphasis on the materials development.We also discuss the functions of GO assemblies in the water and electricity generation process and present their limitations and possible solutions.Current challenges and promising directions for the development of clean-water production and green-electricity generation are also demonstrated for their realistic implementations.We anticipate that this Account would promote more efforts toward fundamental research on graphene functionalization and encourage a broad exploration on the application of graphene assemblies in clean-water production and electric power generation systems.Yaxin Huang Chengzhi Wang Changxiang Shao Boyu Wang Nan Chen Haibo Jin Huhu Cheng Liangti Qu 2021Accounts of Materials Research2021,2,2:2
11Involvement of the crebellum in sequential finger movement learning:Evidence from functional magnetic resonance imaging显示文摘Whether the cerebellum is involved in volun-tary motor learning or motor performance is the subject of a new debate. Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), we examined cerebellar activation in eight volun-teers before and after an extended period of training. Activa-tion volume on both sides of cerebellum after learning was significantly reduced compared to that before learning even under the same motor frequency. Remarkably, while motor frequency for the training sequence was significantly higher than the control sequence after 41 d of learning, activation in the cerebellum for both sequences, with respect to activation loci and volumes, was very similar. These results suggest that the cerebellum was involved in motor learning but not motor performance. 12Fabrication, annealing, and electrocatalytic properties of platinum nanoparticles supported on self-organized TiO_2 nanotubes显示文摘The platinum nanoparticles supported on self-organized TiO2 nanotubes (Pt-TiO2/Ti) were prepared using electrochemical anodic oxidation followed by cathodic reduction. The structure and chemical nature of the Pt-TiO2/Ti electrocatalyst were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Both XRD and SEM results indicate the presence of platinum on nanotubular TiO2. The stability of the Pt deposits was also investigated in 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 solution by cyclic voltammetry. The electrocatalytic activity of the Pt-TiO2/Ti catalyst exhibits enhancement effect during electro-oxidation of methanol when annealed to anatase. Successive cyclic voltammograms of methanol oxidation on the Pt-TiO2/Ti electrocatalyst shows unique electrocatalytic characteristics when compared to methanol oxidation on the bulk Pt catalyst. 13Kinetic and Thermodynamic Studies on Raney Ni/Al2O3 Adsorption for Deep Desulfurization of Benzene Stream显示文摘How to remove trace amount of sulfur in benzene is of significance,and deep desulfurization by Ni-containing absorbents is an efficient and promising method.In this paper,The Raney Ni/Al2 O3 adsorbent was prepared and its kinetic and thermodynamic characteristics on adsorptive desulfurization of benzene were studied.The results showed that Raney Ni/Al2 O3 adsorbent exhibited good adsorption performance.The equilibrium isotherms indicated that the adsorption of thiophene over the Raney Ni/Al2 O3 adsorbent complied with the Freundlich model.The results of adsorption kinetics studies showed that the pseudo-second-order kinetics equation was more advantageous than the pseudo-first-order kinetics equation in describing the adsorption kinetics of thiophene on Raney Ni/Al2 O3.The rate constant value(kp)was positively correlated with the temperature whereas the adsorption mass transfer process was mainly determined by the intraparticle and film diffusion.The adsorption thermodynamic analysis proved that△G^0<0,△H^0>0,and△S^0>0,implying that the adsorption was a spontaneous,entropy-increasing and endothermic process.Cao Yongzheng Luo Guohua Zhang Lanxi Xu Xin Jin Haibo Dong Sen Guo Xuehua 2020China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,2:2

18Petri net based test case generation for evolved specification显示文摘Model-based testing can use a model to test a concrete program's implementation. When the model is changed due to the evolution of the specification, it is important to maintain the test suites up to date, such that it can be used for regression testing. A complete regeneration of the whole test suite from the new model,although inefficient, is still frequently used in practice. To address this problem effectively, we propose a test case reusability analysis technique to identify reusable test cases of the original test suite based on graph analysis,such that we can generate new test cases to cover only the change-related parts of the new model.
