3Robust Watermarking of Mobile Video Resistant against Barrel Distortion显示文摘In head mounted display(HMD),in order to cancel pincushion distortion,the images displayed on the mobile should be prewarped with barrel distortion.The copyright of the mobile video should be verified on both the original view and the pre-warped virtual view.A robust watermarking resistant against barrel distortion for HMDs is proposed in this paper.Watermark mask is embedded into image in consideration of imperceptibility and robustness of watermarking.In order to detect watermark from the pre-warped image with barrel distortion,an estimation method of the barrel distortion is proposed for HMDs.Then,the same warp is enforced on the embedded watermark mask with the estimated parameters of barrel distortion.The correlation between the warped watermark and the pre-warped image is computed to predicate the existence of watermark.As shown in experimental results,watermark of mobile video can be detected not only from the original views,but also from the pre-warped virtual view.It also shows that the proposed scheme is resistant against combined barrel distortion and common post-processing,such as JPEG compression.Huawei Tian Yanhui Xiao Gang Cao Jianwei Ding Bo Ou 2016China Communications2016,13,9:2

5QTL mapping of drought tolerance traits in soybean with SLAF sequencing显示文摘Drought stress is an important factor affecting soybean yield.Improving drought tolerance of soybean varieties can increase yield and yield stability when the stress occurs.Identifying QTL related to drought tolerance using molecular marker-assisted selection is able to facilitate the development of drought-tolerant soybean varieties.In this study,we used a high-yielding and drought-sensitive cultivar‘Zhonghuang 35’and a drought-tolerant cultivar‘Jindou 21’to establish F6:9 recombinant inbred lines.We constructed a highdensity genetic map using specific locus amplified fragment sequencing(SLAF-Seq)technology.The genetic map contained 8078 SLAF markers distributing across 20 soybean chromosomes with a total genetic distance of 3780.98 c M and an average genetic distance of0.59 c M between adjacent markers.Two treatments(irrigation and drought)were used in the field tests,the Additive-Inclusive Composite Interval Mapping(ICIM-ADD)was used to call QTL,and plant height and seed weight per plant were used as the indicators of drought tolerance.We identified a total of 23 QTL related to drought tolerance.Among them,seven QTL(q PH2,q PH6,q PH7,q PH17,q PH19-1,q PH19-2,and q PH19-3)on chromosomes 2,6,7,17,and 19 were related to plant height,and five QTL(q SWPP2,q SWPP6,q SWPP13,q SWPP17,and q SWPP19)on chromosomes 2,6,13,17,and 19 were related to seed weight and could be considered as the major QTL.In addition,three common QTL(q PH6/q SWPP6,q PH17/q SWPP17,and q PH19-3/q SWPP19)for both plant height and seed weight per plant were located in the same genomic regions on the same chromosomes.Three(q PH2,q PH17,and q PH19-2)and four novel QTL(q SWPP2,q SWPP13,q SWPP17,and q SWPP19)were identified for plant height and seed weight per plant,respectively.Two pairs of QTL(q PH2/q SWPP2 and q PH17/q SWPP17)were also common for both plant height and seed weight per plant.These QTL and closely linked SLAF markers could be used to accelerate breeding for drought tolerant cultivars via MAS.Honglei Ren Jianan Han Xingrong Wang Bo Zhang Lili Yu Huawei Gao Huilong Hong Rujian Sun Yu Tian Xusheng Qi Zhangxiong Liu Xiaoxia Wu Li-Juan Qiu 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,6:2
6Performance Analysis of Inter-Stage Leakage Flows at Rotating Conditions in an Axial Compressor显示文摘For the compressor with shrouded stator blades,the stator well is a rotor-stator space between the rotating drum and the stationary shroud.Due to the pressure difference,a reverse leakage flow would travel through the stator well and inject into the main flow path.Although,the labyrinth seal is commonly placed under the shroud,the rotation effect and seal clearance variation in actual operation process have great impact on the characteristics of this inter-stage leakage,as well as the compressor performance.In this paper,experiments were conducted at a compressor inter-stage seal test rig.The leakage flow rates,total temperatures and swirl ratios were obtained at different speeds and working clearances.The proportions of rotation effect and the clearance reduction effect were analyzed by data processing.Comparisons indicate that the working clearance and leakage flow reduce about 43%and 50%respectively,when the rotational speedω=8100 r/min.The proportion of reduction caused by the rotation effect is around 15%,while the influence of working clearance variation is much greater,accounting for about 35%.The windage heating coefficient and swirl ratio in the outlet cavity are almost in exponential relationship with the rotor speed.The increases in total temperature and swirl ratio generated by the rotation effect are found to be about 80%.In addition,the swirl and radial velocity profiles in the cavities were discussed by validated numerical simulations to reveal the typical flow characteristics.The data presented can provide guidance for better leakage conditions prediction as well as the inter-stage seal design enhancement.KONG Xiaozhi LIU Yuxin LU Huawei TIAN Zhitao XIN Jianchi 2020Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,6:2
7Attacking contrast enhancement forensics in digital images显示文摘Currently,plenty of digital image forensic techniques have been proposed and used as diagnostic tools.It is urgent and significant to assess the reliability of such techniques applied in practical scenarios.In this paper,we investigate the security of existing digital image contrast enhancement(CE)forensic algorithms.From the standpoint of attackers,we propose two types of attacks,CE trace hiding attack and CE trace forging attack,which could invalidate the forensic detector and fabricate two types of forensic errors,respectively.The CE trace hiding attack is implemented by integrating local random dithering into the design of pixel value mapping.The CE trace forging attack is proposed by modifying the gray level histogram of a target pixel region to counterfeit peak/gap artifacts.Such trace forging attack is typically applied to create sophisticated composite images which could deceive the prior CE-based composition detectors.Extensive experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of our proposed CE anti-forensic schemes.CAO Gang ZHAO Yao NI RongRong TIAN HuaWei YU LiFang 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,5:1

10Molecular simulation of diffusion of rigidity-tuned nanoparticles in biological hydrogels显示文摘The penetration capability of the drug nano-carriers (NCs) in biological hydrogels, such as mucus and tumor interstitial matrix, would typically influence the efficiency of drug delivery. Understanding the effect of the physicochemical property of the drug carriers on their diffusion capability in biological hydrogel becomes important for designing and optimizing the nano-carriers. Here, using a coarse-grained molecular dynamics model, we studied how the rigidity of NCs affected their diffusivity in biological hydrogel. The results showed that semi-elastic NCs have higher diffusivity than the hard and the soft NCs. Furthermore, the affinity between the NCs and biological hydrogels and the size ratio between the hydrogel meshes and NCs have also affected the diffusivity of the NCs. Further analysis revealed the mechanism that the deformation of the NCs dominates their diffusivity. 11Optical synaptic devices with ultra-low power consumption for neuromorphic computing显示文摘Brain-inspired neuromorphic computing,featured by parallel computing,is considered as one of the most energyefficient and time-saving architectures for massive data computing.However,photonic synapse,one of the key components,is still suffering high power consumption,potentially limiting its applications in artificial neural system.In this study,we present a BP/CdS heterostructure-based artificial photonic synapse with ultra-low power consumption.The device shows remarkable negative light response with maximum responsivity up to 4.1×10^(8)AW^(−1) at VD=0.5 V and light power intensity of 0.16μW cm^(−2)(1.78×10^(8)AW^(−1) on average),which further enables artificial synaptic applications with average power consumption as low as 4.78 fJ for each training process,representing the lowest among the reported results.Finally,a fully-connected optoelectronic neural network(FONN)is simulated with maximum image recognition accuracy up to 94.1%.This study provides new concept towards the designing of energy-efficient artificial photonic synapse and shows great potential in high-performance neuromorphic vision systems.Chenguang Zhu Huawei Liu Wenqiang Wang Li Xiang Jie Jiang Qin Shuai Xin Yang Tian Zhang Biyuan Zheng Hui Wang Dong Li Anlian Pan 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,12:1
12Reconfigurable,graphene-coated,chalcogenide nanowires with a sub-10-nm enantioselective sorting capability显示文摘Chiral surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs)produced by plasmonic nanowires can be used to enhance molecular spectroscopy for biosensing applications.Nevertheless,the switchable stereoselectivity and detection of various analytes are limited by a lack of switchable,chiral SPPs.Using both finite-element method simulations and analytic calculations,we present a graphene-coated chalcogenide(GCC)nanowire that produces mid-infrared,chiral SPPs.The chiral SPPs can be reversibly switched between“on”(transparent)and“off”(opaque)by non-volatile structural state transitions in the dielectric constants of the chalcogenide glass Ge2Sb2Te5.Furthermore,by controlling the Fermi energy of the graphene-coating layer,the nanowire can output either non-chiral or chiral SPPs.A thermal-electric model was built to illustrate the possibility of ultrafast on/off switching of the SPPs at the terminus of the nanowire.Finally,we show that a selective,lateral sorting of sub-10-nm enantiomers can be achieved via the GCC nanowire.Chiral nanoparticles with opposite handedness experience transverse forces that differ in both their sign and magnitude.Our design may pave the way for plasmonic nanowire networks and tunable nanophotonic devices,which require the ultrafast switching of SPPs,and provide a possible approach for a compact,enantiopure synthesis.Tun Cao Long Tian Huawei Liang Kai-Rong Qin 2018Microsystems & Nanoengineering2018,4,1:1
13An Error-Correcting Code-Based Robust Watermarking Scheme for Stereolithographic Files显示文摘Stereolithographic(STL)files have been extensively used in rapid prototyping industries as well as many other fields as watermarking algorithms to secure intellectual property and protect three-dimensional models from theft.However,to the best of our knowledge,few studies have looked at how watermarking can resist attacks that involve vertex-reordering.Here,we present a lossless and robust watermarking scheme for STL files to protect against vertexreordering attacks.Specifically,we designed a novel error-correcting code(ECC)that can correct the error of any one-bit in a bitstream by inserting several check digits.In addition,ECC is designed to make use of redundant information according to the characteristics of STL files,which introduces further robustness for defense against attacks.No modifications are made to the geometric information of the three-dimensional model,which respects the requirements of a highprecision model.The experimental results show that the proposed watermarking scheme can survive numerous kinds of attack,including rotation,scaling and translation(RST),facet reordering,and vertex-reordering attacks.Zhuorong Li Huawei Tian Yanhui Xiao Yunqi Tang Anhong Wang 2021Computer Systems Science & Engineering2021,37,5:0
14Hybrid solid electrolyte interphases formed in conventional carbonate electrolyte enable high-voltage and ultra-stable magnesium metal batteries显示文摘Magnesium metal batteries are considered as viable alternatives of lithium-ion batteries for their low cost and high capacity of magnesium.Nevertheless,the practical application of magnesium metal batteries is extremely challenging due to a lack of suitable electrolyte that can stabilize magnesium metal anode and high-voltage cathode simultaneously.Herein,we found that in-situ formed lithium/magnesium hybrid electrolyte interphases in conventional LiPF6-containing carbonate-based electrolyte can not only prevent the production of passivation layer on the magnesium metal anode,but also inhibit the oxidation of the electrolyte under high voltage.The symmetric magnesium‖magnesium battery can achieve reversible stripping/plating for 1600 and 600 h at 0.02 and 0.1 mA cm^(-2),respectively.In addition,when coupled with a carbon fiber cathode,the magnesium metal battery exhibited a capacity retention rate of 96.3% for 1000 cycles at a current density of 500 mA g^(-1)and presented a working voltage of ~3.1 V.This research paves a new and promising path to the commercialization process of rechargeable magnesium metal batteries.Yong Xie Huawei Song Siyang Ye Fei Tian Junjie Xie Danni Lei Chengxin Wang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3:0

17Mercury release behaviors of Guizhou bituminous coal during co-pyrolysis: Influence of chlorella显示文摘Co-pyrolysis of coal and seaweed can not only effectively decrease the carbon footprint but also improve the quality and output of coal pyrolysis products,however,the influence of seaweed on thermal releasing behaviors of mercury during co-pyrolysis process are still unclear.In this work,the chlorella and Guizhou bituminous coal were mixed and used to reveal the mercury release behavior during co-pyrolysis by the temperature programmed pyrolysis experiments,thermogravimetric and differential thermogravimetric analysis(TG-DTG)and thermogravimetry-mass spectrometry(TG-MS)methods,offering a sufficient explanation on the control technology of mercury pollutants in co-pyrolysis.The results exhibited that a large amount of reducing gases such as CO,H_(2) and H_(2)O were generated in chlorella at the temperature range of 100-500℃,which was favorable for the transformation from oxidized mercury to elemental mercury,thus remarkably increased the release of elemental mercury in the raw coal sample.The mixed chlorella also significantly lowered the decomposition temperature range(from 400-600 to 300-400℃)of pyrite-bound mercury and decreased the decomposition temperatures of the pyrite-bound mercury species.Additionally,in the copyrolysis about 91.82%of mercury was released into the gas phase below 400℃ and was 13.77% higher than that of in individual pyrolysis of coal.Huawei Zhang Yifan Zhou Ting Liu Xiaopeng Tian Yuhan Zhang Juan Wang Mingzhu Zhang Thipphasone Phoutthavong Peng Liang 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,9:0
