| 3 | Extra-copy nifA enhances the nodulation efficiency of Sinorhizobium fredii显示文摘Previous investigations have shown that nifA gene is involved in nodulation and symbiotic nitrogen fixation regulation of Rhizobium. We study the role of nifA on nodulation of leguminous plants. We found that Sinorhizo-bium fredii harboring multi-copy plasmid carrying the con-stitutively expressed Klebsiella pneumoniae nifA exhibited an increase of nodulation activity and nodulation competitiveness on soybean plants. | 4 | Music snippet extraction via melody-based repeated pattern discovery显示文摘In this paper,we present a complete set of procedures to automatically extract a music snippet,defined as the most representative or the highlighted excerpt of a music clip. We first generate a modified and compact similarity matrix based on selected features and distance metrics,and then several improved techniques for music repeated pattern discovery are utilized because a music snippet is usually a part of the repeated melody,main theme or chorus. During the process,redundant and wrongly detected patterns are discarded,boundaries are corrected using beat information,and final clusters are also further sorted according to the occurrence frequency and energy information. Subsequently,following our methods,we designed a music snippet extraction system which allows users to detect snippets. | 5 | Tailoring surface features and pore structure by carbon spiral fibers to construct the high-strength carbon foams for the fast and cyclic photo-thermal oil absorption显示文摘Two key limitations affecting the commercial application of carbon foams for fast clean-up of varied oils are the complex synthesis process and poor mechanical stability.In this work,an effective method is reported to fabricate the efficient oil-absorbing materials(CSF@MCF)of carbon spiral fibers(CSFs)anchored on melamine carbon foam(MCF)with superior mechanical properties and excellent photothermal con-version.The interwoven CSFs can not only provide extra rigidity but also reduce the stress concentration of the carbon skeleton,which greatly improves the mechanical properties with 6.3 times maximum compression stress and 4.5 times ultimate tensile strength than MCF.In addition,the pure carbon component can reduce the interface resistance and excite the free electrons more easily,thus realizing high-efficiency photothermal conversion in a wide range of wavelengths.Under light irradiation,the CSF@MCF can be quickly heated up to 70℃and achieve ultra-high absorption of crude oil,up to 62 g g_(-1),due to its low density and large absorption volume.Meanwhile,the CSF@MCF exhibits impressive absorption stability with persistent superhydrophobicity and a high recovery efficiency of over 85%.Superadding its simple preparation process,low production cost,and excellent acid-alkali resistance,the CSF@MCF shows great commercial potential for effectively absorbing varied oils. | Shaohua Shi Yulin Tang Guizhen Wang Jinchuan Zhao Gengping Wan Lihong Wu Jieping Wang Chul B.Park Guilong Wang | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,19: | 0 |
| 6 | Design and Performance Study of an Ultrasonic Bone Scalpel with Composite Horn Structure显示文摘The ultrasonic bone scalpel was often used in all kinds of clinical orthopedic surgery as a new type of medical instrument.Based on the working theory of the ultrasonic bone scalpel and combined with the design method of a quarter wavelength transducer and horn,this study proposed an optimization design method for the ultrasonic bone scalpel with a composite horn structure.The structure of the ultrasonic bone scalpel was simplified,and its length was shortened.Finite element analysis,modal analysis,and harmonic response analysis were used to optimize the design of the ultrasonic bone scalpel.The performance of the ultrasonic bone scalpel was explored through impedance analysis,amplitude measurement,temperature measurement,and cutting tests,and the feasibility of the design was verified through torque analysis.The results showed that when the torque force was 4.0 N,the resonance frequency of the ultrasonic bone scalpel was 30,540 Hz,and the maximum amplitude of the ultrasonic bone scalpel could reach 62μm.After spray cooling,the maximum surface temperature of the rear end cover was reduced from 51.8 to 36.3℃,the maximum surface temperature of the composite horn was reduced from 71 to 45.3℃,and the maximum surface temperature of the cutter head was reduced from 101 to 46.1℃,demonstrating a good cooling effect.Under 89 Voltage,the optimal cutting force for cutting chicken leg bones was 0.1 N,the optimal cutting force for cutting pork ribs was 0.3 N,and the cutting process showed tissue selectivity. | Jieping Wu Yong Yang Zhao Yang Cong Chen Shuai Huang | 2023 | Nanomanufacturing and Metrology2023,6,1: | 0 |
