1Isolation and Characterization of Collagen from Squid(Ommastrephes bartrami) Skin显示文摘Collagen of squid(Ommastrephes bartrami) skin was examined in the present study. Histology showed that collagen fiber in the skin was partially cross-linked with muscle fiber. Acid-solubilized collagen(ASC) and pepsin-solubilized collagen(PSC) were extracted from the skin and characterized. The results of amino acid composition and electrophoretic patterns revealed that ASC and PSC were both type Ⅰ collagen,containing α1 and α2 chains. FTIR(fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) investigations confirmed the existence of helical arrangements in PSC of squid skin. 2Effect of chitooligosaccharides on cyclin D1,bcl-xl and bcl-2 mRNA expression in A549 cells using quantitative PCR显示文摘Chitooligosaccharide (COS) is derived from the chemical and enzymatic hydrolysis of chitosan and has been reported to have potent antitumor activity.Our study investigated the effects of five chitooligomers ranging from the dimer form to the hexamer form (chitobiose,chitotriose,chitotetraose,chitopentaose,chitohexaose) on the expression of cyclin D1,bcl-2 and bcl-xl mRNA in A549 cells using reverse transcription quantitative real-time PCR.We demonstrated that,of the five chitooligomers used,chitohexaose (COS6) had the most potent inhibitory effect on A549 cell proliferation.COS6 also significantly down regulated cyclin D1 and bcl-xl mRNA expression levels.Our data suggested that COS6 exerts its antitumor activity by two different mechanisms:(1) COS6-mediated inhibition of Cyclin D1 levels leads to suppression of tumor cell proliferation;and (2) COS6-mediated down-regulation of the pro-survival protein,Bcl-xl,promotes the apoptosis of tumor cells.LI Xian WANG Ju CHEN XiaoJia TIAN JinHuan LI LiHua ZHAO MingYan JIAO YanPeng ZHOU ChangRen 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,15:5
3Clinical characteristics of 310 SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant patients and comparison with Delta and Beta variant patients in China显示文摘Although the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)Omicron variant has spread,data on the clinical characteristics of infected patients are limited.In this study,the demographic,clinical characteristics,and laboratory data of 310 SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant patients treated at Haihe Hospital of Tianjin were collected and analyzed.Information on these patients was compared to 96 patients with the Delta variant of concern(VOC)and 326 patients with the Beta VOC during the previous coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)outbreak in Harbin.Of the 310 patients infected with the Omicron variant,the median age was 35 years.Most patients were clinically classified as mild(57.74%),and the most common symptoms were cough(48.71%),fever(39.35%),and sore throat(38.26%).The results for different vaccination groups in the Omicron group showed that the median of“SARS-CoV-2 specific IgG”after 2 or 3 doses of vaccination was higher than the unvaccinated group(all Ps<0.05).Older age was associated with a higher proportion of moderate cases and lower asymptomatic and mild cases based on clinical classifications.Compared to the Delta and Beta groups,the median age of the Omicron group was younger.The total number of asymptomatic patients and mild patients in the Omicron virus group was higher than the Delta and Beta groups(60.97%vs.54.17%vs.47.55%).This study presented the clinical characteristics of the first group of patients infected with the Omicron variant in Tianjin,China,and compared their clinical features with patients infected by the Delta and Beta variants,which would increase our understanding of the characteristics of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant.Wei Yang Songliu Yang Lei Wang Yuxin Zhou Yu Xin Hongxu Li Wenjing Mu Qi Wu Lei Xu Mingyan Zhao Changsong Wang Kaijiang Yu 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,5:4

11Breast Tumor Computer-Aided Detection System Based on Magnetic Resonance Imaging Using Convolutional Neural Network显示文摘Background:The main cause of breast cancer is the deterioration of malignant tumor cells in breast tissue.Early diagnosis of tumors has become the most effective way to prevent breast cancer.Method:For distinguishing between tumor and non-tumor in MRI,a new type of computer-aided detection CAD system for breast tumors is designed in this paper.The CAD system was constructed using three networks,namely,the VGG16,Inception V3,and ResNet50.Then,the influence of the convolutional neural network second migration on the experimental results was further explored in the VGG16 system.Result:CAD system built based on VGG16,Inception V3,and ResNet50 has higher performance than mainstream CAD systems.Among them,the system built based on VGG16 and ResNet50 has outstanding performance.We further explore the impact of the secondary migration on the experimental results in the VGG16 system,and these results show that the migration can improve system performance of the proposed framework.Conclusion:The accuracy of CNN represented by VGG16 is as high as 91.25%,which is more accurate than traditional machine learningmodels.The F1 score of the three basic networks that join the secondary migration is close to 1.0,and the performance of the VGG16-based breast tumor CAD system is higher than Inception V3,and ResNet50.Jing Lu Yan Wu Mingyan Hu Yao Xiong Yapeng Zhou Ziliang Zhao Liutong Shang 2022Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,1:1
125-Hydroxymethylfurfural from wine-processed Fructus corni inhibits hippocampal neuron apoptosis显示文摘Previous studies have shown that 5-hydroxymethylfurfural,a compound extracted from wineprocessed Fructus corni,has a protective effect on hippocampal neurons.The present study was designed to explore the related mechanisms.Our study revealed that high and medium doses(10,1μmol/L)of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural could improve the morphology of H2O2-treated rat hippocampal neurons as revealed by inverted phase-contrast microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.MTT results showed that incubation with high and medium doses of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural caused a significant increase in the viability of neuronal cells injured by H2O2.Flow cytometry assays confirmed that H2O2could induce cell apoptosis,while high and medium doses of5-hydroxymethylfurfural had a visible protective effect on apoptotic rat hippocampal neurons.Real-time PCR and western blot analysis showed that high and medium doses of5-hydroxymethylfurfural prevented H2O2-induced up-regulation of p53,Bax and caspase-3 and antagonized the down-regulation of Bcl-2 induced by H2O2treatment.These results suggested that5-hydroxymethylfurfural could inhibit apoptosis of cultured rat hippocampal neurons injured by H2O2via increase in Bcl-2 levels and decrease in p53,Bax and caspase-3 protein expression levels.Hai Gu Zequn Jiang Mingyan Wang Haiying Jiang Fengming Zhao Xia Ding Baochang Cai Zhen Zhan 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,28:1
13Screening of Extraction Methods for Glycoproteins from Jellyfish (Rhopilema esculentum) Oral-Arms by High Performance Liquid Chromatography显示文摘In order to select an optimum extraction method for the target glycoprotein (TGP) from jellyfish (Rhopilema esculentum) oralarms, a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)–assay for the determination of the TGP was developed. Purified target glycoprotein was taken as a standard glycoprotein. The results showed that the calibration curves for peak area plotted against concentration for TGP were linear (r = 0.9984, y = 4.5895x+47.601) over concentrations ranging from 50 to 400 mgL-1. The mean extraction recovery was 97.84% (CV2.60%). The fractions containing TGP were isolated from jellyfish (R. esculentum) oral-arms by four extraction methods: 1) water extraction (WE), 2) phosphate buffer solution (PBS) extraction (PE), 3) ultrasound-assisted water extraction (UA-WE), 4) ultrasound-assisted PBS extraction (UA-PE). The lyophilized extract was dissolved in Milli-Q water and analyzed directly on a short TSK-GEL G4000PWXL (7.8 mm×300 mm) column. 17Partially charged single-atom Ru supported on ZrO_(2) nanocrystals for highly efficient ethylene hydrosilylation with triethoxysilane显示文摘Homogeneous noble metal catalysts used in alkene hydrosilylation reactions to manufacture organosilicon compounds commercially often suffer from difficulties in catalyst recovering and recycling,undesired disproportionation reactions,and energyintensive purification of products.Herein,we report a heterogeneous 0.5Ruδ+/ZrO_(2) catalyst with partially charged single-atom Ru(0.5 wt.%Ru)supported on commercial ZrO_(2) nanocrystals synthesized by the simple impregnation method followed by H2 reduction.When used in the ethylene hydrosilylation with triethoxysilane to produce the desired ethyltriethoxysilane,0.5Ruδ+/ZrO_(2) showed excellent catalytic performance with the maximum Ru atom utilization and good recyclability,even superior to homogeneous catalyst(RuCl3·H2O).Structural characterizations and density functional theory calculations reveal the atomic dispersion of the active Ru species and their unique electronic properties distinct from the homogeneous catalyst.The reaction route over this catalyst is supposed to follow the typical Chalk-Harrod mechanism.This highly efficient and supported singleatom Ru catalyst has the potential to replace the current homogeneous catalyst for a greener hydrosilylation industry.Mingyan Li Shu Zhao Jing Li Xiao Chen Yongjun Ji Haijun Yu Dingrong Bai Guangwen Xu Ziyi Zhong Fabing Su 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:0
18Primary Discussion on the Characteristics and Forecasting Methods of Dense Fog in Xuzhou City显示文摘[Objective]The study aimed to discuss the characteristics and forecasting methods of dense fog in Xuzhou City.[Method]Based on the data of dense fog in Xuzhou City from 1960 to 2009,the characteristics and forming conditions of dense fog in the region were analyzed,and then its forecasting methods were introduced,finally corresponding disaster prevention measures were put forward.[Result]Dense fog might appear in each season,its frequency of occurrence was the highest in December,namely 16.4%;it was the lowest in June(2.2%),and the fog lasted for a short time and was thin.Heavy fog occurred more frequently in winter half year than summer half year,and the frequency of occurrence from October to next February was about 66.7%.In addition,dense fog mostly generated from late midnight to morning,while it appeared less in the afternoon.It shows that dense fog in Xuzhou City is mainly radiation fog instead of advection fog,but the two kinds of fog appeared simultaneously sometimes.[Conclusion]The research could provide scientific forecasting methods for the precise prediction of dense fog in Xuzhou City.Mingyan Peng Jie Zhao Fangfang Zhang Di An Shan Fu 2013Meteorological and Environmental Research2013,4,1:0
19Subcellular localization of chitosan oligosaccharides in living cells显示文摘Chitosan oligosaccharides(COS)is derived from the chemical or enzymatic decomposition of chitosan.The exact mechanisms underlying many biological functions of COS have not been elucidated.Since subcellular localization is very important in determining biological activity in a number of molecules,we used fluorescein isothiocyanate-labeled chitosan oligosaccharides(FITCCOS)and investigated the localization of COS in living cells by laser scanning microscopy.We found that COS entered cells in a dose-and time-dependent manner,and we first showed that COS may enter cells by facilitated passive diffusion and was preferentially localized in the mitochondria.While in high concentration,it was also found in the cytoplasm and nucleus and was enriched in the nucleolus and karyotheca.The different subcellular localization of COS suggested that they played different effects.Determination of COS subcellular localization in cells is important to help us understand the potent mechanisms underlying its multiple functions.Xian Li Changren Zhou Xiaofeng Chen Mingyan Zhao 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,20:0
20A Fast Physical Layer Security-Based Location Privacy Parameter Recommendation Algorithm in 5G IoT显示文摘The 5G IoT(Internet of Things,IoT)is easier to implement in location privacy-preserving research.The terminals in distributed network architecture blur their accurate locations into a spatial cloaking region but most existing spatial cloaking algorithms cannot work well because of man-in-the-middle attacks,high communication overhead,time consumption,and the lower success rate.This paper proposes an algorithm that can recommend terminal’s privacy requirements based on getting terminal distribution information in the neighborhood after cross-layer authentication and therefore help 5G IoT terminals find enough collaborative terminals safely and quickly.The approach shows it can avoid man-in-the-middle attacks and needs lower communication costs and less searching time than 520ms at the same time.It has a great anonymization success rate by 93%through extensive simulation experiments for a range of 5G IoT scenarios.Hua Zhao Mingyan Xu Zhou Zhong Ding Wang 2021China Communications2021,18,8:0
