1Numerical simulation of spatial distributions of mining-induced stress and fracture fields for three coal mining layouts显示文摘In this study, the spatial distributions of stress and fracture fields for three typical underground coal mining layouts, i.e. non-pillar mining(NM), top-coal caving mining(TCM) and protective coal-seam mining(PCM), are modeled using discrete element software UDEC. The numerical results show that different mining layouts can lead to different mining-induced stress fields, resulting in diverse fracture fields. For the PCM, the mining influenced area in front of the mining faces is the largest, and the stress concentration factor in front of the mining faces is the lowest. The spatial shapes of the mining-induced fracture fields under NM, TCM and PCM differ, and they are characterized by trapezoidal, triangular and tower shapes, respectively. The fractal dimensions of mining-induced fractures of the three mining layouts decrease in the order of PCM, TCM and NM. It is also shown that the PCM can result in a better gas control effect in coal mines with high outburst potential. 2High-pressure phases of Weyl semimetals NbP, NbAs, TaP,and TaAs显示文摘In this study, we used the crystal structure search method and first-principles calculations to systematically explore the highpressure phase diagrams of the TaAs family(NbP, NbAs, TaP, and TaAs). Our calculation results show that NbAs and TaAs have similar phase diagrams, the same structural phase transition sequence I4_1 md→P6 m2→P2_1/c→Pm3 m, and slightly different transition pressures. The phase transition sequence of NbP and TaP differs somewhat from that of NbAs and TaAs, in which new structures emerge, such as the Cmcm structure in NbP and the Pmmn structure in TaP. 3Evidence for a Dirac nodal-line semimetal in SrAs_3显示文摘Dirac nodal-line semimetals with the linear bands crossing along a line or loop, represent a new topological state of matter. Here, by carrying out magnetotransport measurements and performing first-principle calculations, we demonstrate that such a state has been realized in high-quality single crystals of SrAs_3.We obtain the nontrivial ∏ Berry phase by analysing the Shubnikov-de Haas quantum oscillations. 4Radiation pre-vulcanization effect on properties of the truck tyre's transition layer and the truck tyre显示文摘In this paper,the natural rubber is chosen as the main constituents for the transition layer of all-steel load radial tyre,which is pre-vulcanized by 500-keV E-beam irradiation of up to 60 kGy.The results show that the green strength of transitional layer increases with the dose,reaching four times as much as the control(without irradiation) at 60 kGy.The final mechanical properties do not differ significantly from those of the control except that the aging and fatigue performance increased.However,thickness of the natural rubber transitional layer for an average single tyre can be reduced by 1 mm(or 1.5 kg) without obvious adverse effect on tyre performance.YANG Mingcheng ZHANG Benshang ZHU Jun LI Zhaopeng LI Kunhao GUO Dongquan ZHANG Hongna 2013Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,2:2
5In situ generation and detection of methyl radical by voltammetry显示文摘In persulfate-acetate, dimethyl sulfoxide or tert-butyl alcohol systems, in situ generation and detection of methyl free radical are realized with voltammetry. It includes the following successive processes. The persulfate S2O82 is polarographically reduced via one-electron addition to sulfate radical SO4, the SO4 initiates chain reaction with acetate, dimethyl sulfoxide, or tert-butyl alcohol on the electrode surface to produce a methyl radical, and one-electron reduction of the methyl radical yields its polarographic reduction wave.
