| 1 | Radiomic analysis of pulmonary ground-glass opacity nodules for distinction of preinvasive lesions, invasive pulmonary adenocarcinoma and minimally invasive adenocarcinoma based on quantitative texture analysis of CT显示文摘Objective: To identify the differences among preinvasive lesions, minimally invasive adenocarcinomas(MIAs)and invasive pulmonary adenocarcinomas(IPAs) based on radiomic feature analysis with computed tomography(CT).Methods: A total of 109 patients with ground-glass opacity lesions(GGOs) in the lungs determined by CT examinations were enrolled, all of whom had received a pathologic diagnosis. After the manual delineation and segmentation of the GGOs as regions of interest(ROIs), the patients were subdivided into three groups based on pathologic analyses: the preinvasive lesions(including atypical adenomatous hyperplasia and adenocarcinoma in situ) subgroup, the MIA subgroup and the IPA subgroup. Next, we obtained the texture features of the GGOs. The data analysis was aimed at finding both the differences between each pair of the groups and predictors to distinguish any two pathologic subtypes using logistic regression. Finally, a receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was applied to accurately evaluate the performances of the regression models.Results: We found that the voxel count feature(P<0.001) could be used as a predictor for distinguishing IPAs from preinvasive lesions. However, the surface area feature(P=0.040) and the extruded surface area feature(P=0.013) could be predictors of IPAs compared with MIAs. In addition, the correlation feature(P=0.046) could distinguish preinvasive lesions from MIAs better.Conclusions: Preinvasive lesions, MIAs and IPAs can be discriminated based on texture features within CT images, although the three diseases could all appear as GGOs on CT images. | 2 | Controllable preparation of ZnO porous flower through a membrane dispersion reactor and their photocatalytic properties显示文摘Three dimensional (3D) flower-like basic zinc carbonate constructed by multilayered nanoplates were rapidly prepared at room temperature through the direct precipitation method coupled with membrane dispersion technology, and porous ZnO with similar structures could be obtained after calcining the precursor. The structural properties of the products before and after the calcining process were characterized by SEM, TEM and XRD.The supersaturation of the reaction system due to the membrane dispersion played an important role in the formation of uniform Zn_5(CO_3)_2(OH)_6 precursors. A plausible mechanism was proposed for the formation of the flower-like ZnO assembled by nanoplates composed of nanoparticles. | 4 | Electrolyte and current collector designs for stable lithium metal anodes显示文摘With the increasing demand for high energy-density batteries for portable electronics and large-scale energy storage systems,the lithium metal anode(LMA)has received tremendous attention because of its high theoretical capacity and low redox potential.However,the commercial application of LMAs is impeded by the uncontrolled growth of lithium dendrites.Such dendrite growth may result in internal short circuits,detrimental side reactions,and the formation of dead lithium.Therefore,the growth of lithium metal must be controlled.This article summarizes our recent efforts in inhibiting such dendrite growth,decreasing the detrimental side reactions,and elongating the LMA lifespan by optimizing the electrolyte structure and by designing appropriate current collectors.After identifying that the unstable solid electrolyte inter-face(SEI)film is responsible for the potential dropping in carbonate electrolytes,we developed LiPF_(6)-LiNO_(3) dual-salt electrolyte and lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide(LiFSI)-carbonate electrolyte to stabilize the SEI film of LMAs.In addition,we achieved controlled lithium depos-ition by designing the structure and material of the current collectors,including selective lithium deposition in porous current collectors,lithio-philic metal guided lithium deposition,and iron carbide induced underpotential lithium deposition in nano-cavities.The limitations of the cur-rent strategies and prospects for future research are also presented. | Simeng Zhang Gaojing Yang Xiaoyun Li Yejing Li Zhaoxiang Wang Liquan Chen | 2022 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,5: | 2 |

| 7 | Symptom clustering in chronic gastritis based on spectral clustering显示文摘OBJECTIVE: Apply spectral clustering to analyze the patterns of symptoms in patients with chronic gastritis(CG).METHODS: Based on 919 CG subjects, we applied mutual information feature selection to choose the positively correlated symptoms with each pattern.Then, we used the Shi and Malik spectral clustering algorithm to select the top 20 correlated symptoms.RESULTS: We ascertained the results of six patterns.There were three categories for the pattern of accumulation of damp heat in the spleen-stomach(0.00332). There were six categories for the pattern of dampness obstructing the spleen-stomach(0.02466). There were two categories for the pattern of spleen-stomach Qi deficiency(0.013 89).There were three categories for the pattern of spleen-stomach deficiency cold(0.009 15). There were five categories for the pattern of liver-Qistagnation(0.01910).There were four categories for the pattern of stagnant heat in the liver-stomach(0.00585).CONCLUSION: Most of the spectral clustering results of the symptoms of CG patterns were in accordance with clinical experience and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. | 10 | Enhanced performances of polypropylene membranes by molecular layer deposition of polyimide显示文摘Molecular layer deposition(MLD) for the deposition of polyimide(PI) at low temperature of 110 °C has been firstly introduced into the field of membrane separation. With the optimized MLD deposition parameters, such low deposition temperature has successfully expanded the application of MLD for the surface modification of polymeric materials. Globular PI particulates grow on both the free surfaces as well as the pore walls of the polypropylene(PP) membranes as isolated islands during progressive precursor exposures. The PI-deposited PP membranes exhibit synergistically improved performances in various aspects. Evidently improved surface hydrophilicity and permeation performance(30%) have been achieved via the MLD deposition of polyimide films. The overall separation efficiency maintained higher than 85% even after 250 cycles of MLD deposition.
