| 1 | CMOS-compatible all-optical modulator based on the saturable absorption of graphene显示文摘Graphene resting on a silicon-on-insulator platform offers great potential for optoelectronic devices.In the paper,we demonstrate all-optical modulation on the graphene-silicon hybrid waveguides(GSHWs)with tens of micrometers in length.Owing to strong interaction between graphene and silicon strip waveguides with compact light confinement,the modulation depth reaches 22.7%with a saturation threshold down to 1.38 pJ per pulse and a 30-μm-long graphene pad.A response time of 1.65 ps is verified by a pump-probe measurement with an energy consumption of 2.1 pJ.The complementary metal-oxide semiconductor compatible GSHWs with the strip configuration exhibit great potential for ultrafast and broadband all-optical modulation,indicating that employing two-dimensional materials has become a complementary technology to promote the silicon photonic platform. | HONG WANG NINGNING YANG LIMIN CHANG CHAOBIAO ZHOU SHIYU LI MENG DENG ZHENWEI LI QIANG LIU CHI ZHANG ZHIYONG LI YI WANG | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,4: | 4 |
| 2 | Route strategy of satellite network in GNSS based on topology evolution law显示文摘As each type of satellite network has different link features, its data transmission must be designed based on its link features to improve the efficiency of data transferring. The transmission of navigation integrated services information(NISI)in a global navigation satellite system(GNSS) with inter-satellite links(ISLs) is studied by taking the real situation of inter-satellite communication links into account. An on-demand computing and buffering centralized route strategy is proposed based on dynamic grouping and the topology evolution law of the GNSS network within which the satellite nodes are operated in the manner of dynamic grouping. Dynamic grouping is based on satellites spatial relationships and the group role of the satellite node changes by turns due to its spatial relationships. | 5 | Allergic Phenotypes and Sarcopenia:Evidence from Observational Studies and Mendelian Randomization Analysis显示文摘Commonly afected in early-life population,the impact of allergic phenotypes on mid-or late-life health is less discussed.This study is to explore the association of allergic phenotypes including atopic dermatitis(AD),asthma,eosinophils count(EC),and sarcopenia.We conducted observational studies and mendelian randomization(MR)analysis based on UK Biobank(UKB),the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study(CHARLS)and data from genome-wide association study(GWAS).Based on the UKB data,AD,asthma and EC were positively correlated with pre-sarcopenia and decreased skeletal muscle mass index and hand grip in fully adjusted model.Asthma and EC were signifcantly associated with sarcopenia while AD was marginally associated(p=0.095).Based on the CHARLS cohort,asthma signifcantly added 109.4%risk for pre-sarcopenia in adjusted model(relative risk=2.094;p=0.002),respectively.Both asthma(β=0.100,p=0.006)and EC(β=0.023,p=0.017)exerted signifcantly casual efects on pre-sarcopenia.However,as for sarcopenia,merely EC exhibited a signifcantly casual efect(β=0.005,p=0.048).Signifcant casual efects of AD(β=–0.027,p=0.003),asthma(β=–0.029,p=0.027)and EC(β=–0.041,p<0.001)on decreased appendicular lean mass(ALM)were observed using the inverse-variance weighted method and the Mendelian randomization pleiotropy residual sum and outlier(MR-PRESSO)method.Our results revealed a contributory role of AD,asthma and EC on sarcopenia,especially in terms of decreased ALM,an indicator for sarcopenia diagnosis.The fndings of our study will raise the awareness of preventing aging-related disorders or geriatric syndromes among allergic populations. | Zhenwei Tang Guowei Zhou Yi Xiao Hong Liu Xiang Chen Minxue Shen | 2024 | Phenomics2024,4,1: | 0 |
