| 4 | Wide-range model predictive control for aero-engine transient state显示文摘To perform transient state control of an aero-engine,a structure that combines linear controller and min–max selector is widely adopted,which is inherently conservative and therefore limits the fulfillment of the engine potential.Model predictive control is a new control method that has vast application prospects in the field of aero-engine control.Therefore,this paper proposes a wide-range model predictive controller that can control the engine over a wide range within the flight envelope.This paper first introduces the engine parameters and the model prediction algorithm used by the controller.Then a wide-range model prediction controller with a three-layer nested structure is presented.These three layers of the structure are univariate controller,nominal point controller,and wide-range controller from inside to outside.Finally,by analyzing and verifying the effectiveness of the univariate controller for small-range variations and the wide-range model predictive controller for large-range parameter variations,it is demonstrated that the controller can schedule the controller’s output based on inlet altitude,Mach number,and lowpressure shaft corrected speed,and ensure that the limits are not exceeded.It is concluded that the designed wide-range model predictive controller has good dynamic effect and safety. | Bing YU Zhouyang LI Hongwei KE Tianhong ZHANG | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,7: | 1 |

| 11 | He Match: A redundancy layout placement scheme for erasure-coded storages in practical heterogeneous failure patterns显示文摘Erasure codes are widely used in storage systems for providing data reliability due to the advantage of high storage efficiency, while the access efficiency becomes the main shortcoming because of the extra data retrieve and decoding for accessing unavailable data. Most existing work designs erasure codes based on the ideal failure pattern where all storage nodes fail at the same rate. However in practice, the physical storage nodes fail at different rates due to the heterogeneous hardware, topologies and application behaviors. In this paper,we consider the heterogeneous failure pattern and analyze how the failure pattern impacts the overall access efficiency and reliability of erasure-coded storage systems. We propose He Match, a redundancy layout placement scheme in practical heterogeneous failure pattern for erasure-coded storage access efficiency. Specifically, we first study how the heterogeneous failure pattern impacts the access efficiency and propose a general model based on the Tanner graph to evaluate and predict the access efficiency in specific failure pattern and redundancy layout.Then, we propose the redundancy layout placement scheme, which matches the redundancy layout with the physical storage nodes in practical heterogeneous failure patterns based on the evaluation and prediction from our model.
