1Pathogenesis of premature coronary artery disease:Focus on risk factors and genetic variants显示文摘The development of premature coronary artery disease(PCAD)is dependent on both genetic predisposition and traditional risk factors.Strategies for unraveling the genetic basis of PCAD have evolved with the advent of modern technologies.Genome-wide association studies(GWASs)have identified a considerable number of common genetic variants that are associated with PCAD.Most of these genetic variants are attributable to lipid and blood pressure-related single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs).The genetic variants that predispose individuals to developing PCAD may depend on race and ethnicity.Some characteristic genetic variants have been identified in Chinese populations.Although translating this genetic knowledge into clinical applications is still challenging,these genetic variants can be used for CAD phenotype identification,genetic prediction and therapy.In this article we will provide a comprehensive review of genetic variants detected by GWASs that are predicted to contribute to the development of PCAD.We will highlight recent findings regarding CAD-related genetic variants in Chinese populations and discuss the potential clinical utility of genetic variants for preventing and managing PCAD.Haiming Wang Zifan Liu Junjie Shao Min Jiang Xuechun Lu Lejian Lin Lin Wang Qiang Xu Haomin Zhang Xin Li Jingjing Zhou Yundai Chen Ran Zhang 2022Genes & Diseases2022,9,2:1

3Effects of combined infrared and hot-air drying on ginsenosides and drying characteristics of Panax notoginseng(Araliaceae)roots显示文摘Exploring new drying technology can help to deal with the challenge of better preservation of rhizome medicinal materials in the traditional Chinese medicine industry.In current work,combined infrared and hot-air drying(IR-HAD)was employed to Panax notoginseng roots and its effect on drying kinetics,energy efficiency and quality,i.e.,rehydration ratio(RR),color parameters(L^(*),a^(*),b^(*)),total color difference(ΔE),Panax notoginseng saponins(PNS)content,and ginsenosides content(R_(1),R^(g1),R_(e),R_(d),R_(b1))were evaluated.Hot air drying(HAD)was used as the control.Results showed that the increase in drying temperature significantly shortened drying time and reduced energy consumption.The shortest drying time of 43.0 h and lowest specific energy consumption of 15.9 kW·h/(kg-water)were obtained by IR-HAD at 55°C.The decrease of radiation distance and the increase of radiation power led to the shortening of drying time.However,high drying temperature resulted in largeΔE values,large collapse structure,and RR of samples.The drying time of Panax notoginseng roots dried by IR-HAD at a drying temperature of 50°C was shorter(15.5%)than HAD dried at the same drying temperature.The contents of R_(1),R_(g1),R_(e),R_(b1),and PNS were higher when the samples were dried by IR-HAD than those dried by HAD at the same temperature of 50°C.Moreover,the IR-HAD dried samples shortened 15.5%drying time and saved 22.1%energy consumption compared with HAD.Therefore,the optimal process condition was Panax notoginseng roots under IR-HAD at drying temperature of 50°C,radiation distance of 12 cm and radiation power of 1350 W,which can shorten drying time,maintain high ginsenosides contents and satisfactory apparent qualities.Dalong Jiang Yue Liu Zifan Lin Wenjie Wang Zhi'an Zheng 2022International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,1:0
4Experimental and numerical study on the shrinkage-deformation of carrot slices during hot air drying显示文摘In order to further understand the mechanism of material volume change in the drying process,numerical simulations(considering or neglecting shrinkage)of heat and mass transfer during convective drying of carrot slices under constant and controlled temperature and relative humidity were carried out.Simulated results were validated with experimental data.The results of the simulation show that the Quadratic model fitted well to the moisture ratio and the material temperature data trend with average relative errors of 5.9%and 8.1%,respectively.Additionally,the results of the simulation considering shrinkage show that the moisture and temperature distributions during drying are closer to the experimental data than the results of the simulation disregarding shrinkage.The material moisture content was significantly related to the shrinkage of dried tissue.Temperature and relative humidity significantly affected the volume shrinkage of carrot slices.The volume shrinkage increased with the rising of the constant temperature and the decline of relative humidity.This model can be used to provide more information on the dynamics of heat and mass transfer during drying and can also be adapted to other products and dryers devices.Dalong Jiang Congcong Li Zifan Lin Yuntian Wu Hongjuan Pei Magdalena Zielinska Hongwei Xiao 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,1:0
5Solving Multi-Objective Vehicle Routing Problems with Time Windows: A Decomposition-Based Multiform Optimization Approach显示文摘In solving multi-objective vehicle routing problems with time windows (MOVRPTW),most existing algorithms focus on the optimization of a single problem formulation. However,little effort has been devoted to exploiting valuable knowledge from the alternate formulations of MOVRPTW for better optimization performance. Aiming at this insufficiency,this study proposes a decomposition-based multi-objective multiform evolutionary algorithm (MMFEA/D),which performs the evolutionary search on multiple alternate formulations of MOVRPTW simultaneously to complement each other. In particular,the main characteristics of MMFEA/D are three folds. First,a multiform construction (MFC) strategy is adopted to construct multiple alternate formulations,each of which is formulated by grouping several adjacent subproblems based on the decomposition of MOVRPTW. Second,a transfer reproduction (TFR) mechanism is designed to generate offspring for each formulation via transferring promising solutions from other formulations,making that the useful traits captured from different formulations can be shared and leveraged to guide the evolutionary search. Third,an adaptive local search (ALS) strategy is developed to invest search effort on different alternate formulations as per their usefulness for MOVRPTW,thus facilitating the efficient allocation of computational resources. 6An overview of bearing voltages and currents in rail transportation traction motors显示文摘In modern rail transportation,inverter drive systems have been extensively used due to their excellent speed control capabilities.However,in recent years,premature failure problems caused by bearing voltage and current phenomena have been frequently reported in electric motors,with electrical bearing failures making up a considerable percentage.The purpose of this review is to provide a comprehensive overview of facets relating to the electrical erosion of bearings in an electrical environment represented by railway vehicles.First,the origins of the phenomenon as well as typical bearing electrical failure modes are discussed.Next,we introduce the distinctive features of the electrical environment of railway traction motor bearings,including output voltages with high common-mode components and systems with complex grounding configurations.Then,we classify the fundamental mechanisms for generating bearing voltages/currents into four groups,and present their modeling processes,including equivalent circuit establishment and parameter determination methods.Furthermore,we summarize the strategies frequently used to protect bearings,and describe a typical solution to suppress electrical bearing failures in railway vehicles.Finally,we present a case example to illustrate a research procedure for systematic investigation of inverter-induced bearing currents in rail transportation.Yao LI Lin QIU Yongjian ZHI Zifan GAO Jien MA Jian ZHANG Youtong FANG 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science A(Applied Physics & Engineering)2023,24,3:0
7Effects of pulsation ratio on center temperature and drying characteristics of pineapple slices with pulsed vacuum drying显示文摘This research explored the application of pulsed vacuum technology on the drying(PVD)of pineapple slices.Influences of drying temperature and pulsed vacuum ratio(PVR)on drying characteristics and pineapple quality(color,rehydration characteristics,microstructure,and texture)were analyzed.As expected,increasing the drying temperature resulted in a higher drying rate and effective moisture diffusivity.The optimal PVR of 5:5 was beneficial in accelerating the drying rate of pineapple slices and the corresponding effective moisture diffusion coefficient(8.9601×10^(-10))was higher than other PVR conditions based on material center temperature.The material temperature increased during the normal pressure period and decreased rapidly when the pressure dropped to the vacuum condition,which indirectly reflected the moisture transfer that occurred during the vacuum holding period,while moisture diffusion happened during the atmospheric pressure holding period.The optimal pulsed vacuum drying process(PVR of 5:5)could expand air and water vapor and create a looser structure so as to obtain better rehydration performance(rehydration ratio(RR)was 5.43).High drying temperature led to the decrease of L^(*)value,the increase ofΔE value,and even the formation of surface scorch at 80℃.At the same drying temperature,the color quality depended on the drying time,and the color difference increased with the extension of the drying time.The chewiness and hardness of pineapple slices dried by PVD were significantly higher than those of fresh samples,which was conducive to the chewing taste.Dalong Jiang Congcong Li Zifan Lin Yuntian Wu Hongjuan Pei 2022International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,6:0
