| 1 | Tensile and Fracture Properties of 15 vol% SiC_p/2009Al Composites Fabricated by Hot Isostatic Pressing and Hot Extrusion Processes显示文摘15 vol% silicon carbide particle(Si Cp)-reinforced 2009 Al matrix(15 vol% Si Cp/2009Al) composites were fabricated by hot isostatic pressing(HIP) and hot extrusion processes. The tensile and fracture properties of 15 vol% Si Cp/2009 Al were studied. The results showed that hot extrusion increased the ultimate tensile strength(UTS), yield strength(YS), elongation(EL), reduction in area(RA), and fracture toughness of the composites. The heat treatment resulted in the increase in UTS, YS, and fracture toughness, but a decrease in EL and RA. Both hot extrusion and heat treatment had negligible effects on elastic modulus(E). With the increase of Si Cpsize, the UTS, YS, and E decreased, but the EL and RA increased. | 3 | Value of Multi-detector CT in Detection of Isolated Spontaneous Superior Mesenteric Artery Dissection显示文摘Objective To investigate the role of multi-detector computed tomography(CT) in the diagnosis and classification of isolated spontaneous superior mesenteric artery dissection(ISSMAD). Methods From July 2012 to December 2016,30 consecutive patients with ISSMAD underwent CT scan at least two times. We retrospectively summarized the clinical characteristics and CT findings of them. The stenosis ratio of true lumen was compared between the patients without bowel ischemia and ones with bowel ischemia. Results There were 5 cases of type I ISSMAD,14 cases of type Ⅱ,1 case of type Ⅲ,7 cases of type Ⅳ and 3 cases of type V. Intestinal ischemia occurred in 5 patients. The stenosis ratio of true lumen in the patients without bowel ischemia was lower than that with bowel ischemia(45.6% vs. 76.0%,t=–14.5,P=0.000). Five patients with intestinal ischemia underwent superior mesenteric artery stenting and others received conservative therapy. The abdominal pain was alleviated for all the patients after treatment. Follow-up was complete in 30 cases. Follow-up CT angiography of superior mesenteric artery showed dissection remodeling in 12 patients. | 4 | High-efficiency green micro-LEDs with GaN tunnel junctions grown hybrid by PA-MBE and MOCVD显示文摘We fabricated p-i-n tunnel junction(TJ)contacts for hole injection on c-plane green micro-light-emitting diodes(micro-LEDs)by a hybrid growth approach using plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy(PA-MBE)and metal–organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD).The TJ was formed by an MBE-grown ultra-thin unintentionally doped In Ga N polarization layer and an n^(++)∕n^(+)-GaN layer on the activated p^(++)-Ga N layer prepared by MOCVD.This hybrid growth approach allowed for the realization of a steep doping interface and ultrathin depletion width for efficient inter-band tunneling.Compared to standard micro-LEDs,the TJ micro-LEDs showed a reduced device resistance,enhanced electroluminescence intensity,and a reduced efficiency droop.The size-independent J-V characteristics indicate that TJ could serve as an excellent current spreading layer.All these results demonstrated that hybrid TJ contacts contributed to the realization of high-performance micro-LEDs with long emission wavelengths. | YAOZHENG WU BIN LIU FEIFAN XU YIMENG SANG TAO TAO ZILI XIE KE WANG XIANGQIAN XIU PENG CHEN DUNJUN CHEN HAI LU RONG ZHANG YOUDOU ZHENG | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,9: | 2 |

| 9 | Hydrothermal pretreatment of rice straw at relatively lower temperature to improve biogas production vict anaerobic digestion显示文摘Although the degradation mechanism of straw anaerobic digestion is still obscure,lower temperature thermop hysical pretreatment might be a feasible way to improve biogas fermentation efficiency and net energy production in whole slurry.In this study,the performances of rice straw(RS)degradation and biogas production were examined at different pretreatment temperatures from 90 ℃ to 130℃ to identify the optimal process.With increasing pretreatment temperature,the change in cellulose and hemicellulose degradation in all the tests was directly related to volatile fatty acids(VFAs)content,but did not correspond to the variation in cumulative methane production.Both 100℃ and 130℃presented similar ideal digestion performances with highest methane yields of 127.6 and 124.6 mL/g TS,respectively,which were 22.80%and 19.83%higher than that noted in the control.Although test at 100 ℃pretreatment,which achieved 12.8%higher net energy production from RS than that observed in the control,could be considered as the optimal choice,the surplus biogas could only meet 75.9%of energy requirement for pretreated water temperature shift.Nevertheless,mesophilic or thermophilic fermentation,lower pretreatment water input,and reuse of excess heat are recommended as feasible working conditions for improving net biogas production. | Tao Luo Hailong Huang Zili Mei Fei Shen Yihong Ge Guoquan Hu Xi Meng | 2019 | Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,6: | 1 |

X-ray diffraction (XRD) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) of the sample do not show existence of any signal of second phase. The X-photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) of the sample shows the chemical valence of Ni is +2 and the real Ni concentration is 2.19% determined by X-ray fluorescence spectra (XRFS). | 16 | Chondroitinase ABC treatment of injured spinal cord in rats Evaluation of long-term outcomes显示文摘Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans (CSPGs) which are produced by mature oligodendrocytes and reactive astrocytes can be upregulated after spinal cord injury and contribute to regenerative failure. Chondroitinase ABC (ChABC) digests glycosaminoglycan chains on CSPGs and can thereby overcome CSPG-mediated inhibition. However, many current studies have used an incomplete spinal cord injury model, and examined results after 8-12 weeks of ChABC treatment. In this study, a complete rat spinal cord transection injury model was used to study the long-term effects of ChABC treatment by subarachnoid catheter. Pathology of spinal cord regeneration was compared with control 24 weeks following ChABC treatment using immunohistochemistry and axon tracing techniques. At 24 weeks after injury, neurofilament 200 expression was significantly greater in the ChABC treatment group compared with the transection group. In the ChABC treatment group, axonal growth was demonstrated by a large number of biotinylated dextran amine positive axons caudal to, or past, the epicenter of injury. Biotinylated dextran amine-labeled fibers were found in the proximal end of the spinal cord in the transection alone group. By the dynamic variance error system analysis (DVESA) method, it is rigorously proved that the self-tuning Riccati equation converges to the optimal time-varying Riccati equation. Based on this, by the dynamic error system analysis (DESA) method, it is proved that the corresponding self-tuning Kalman filter converges to the optimal time-varying Kalman filter in a realization, so that it has asymptotic optimality. As an application to adaptive signal processing, a self-tuning Kalman signal filter with the self-tuning Riccati equation is presented.
