First dark matter search results from the PandaX-Ⅰ experiment显示文摘We report on the first dark-matter(DM)search results from PandaX-I,a low threshold dual-phase xenon experiment operating at the China JinPing Underground Laboratory. In the 37-kg liquid xenon target with 17.4 live-days of exposure,no DM particle candidate event was found. This result sets a stringent limit for low-mass DM particles and disfavors the interpretation of previously-reported positive experimental results. The minimum upper limit,3.7×10-44cm2,for the spin-independent isoscalar DM-particle-nucleon scattering cross section is obtained at a DM-particle mass of 49 GeV/c2at 90%confidence level. | XIAO MengJiao XIAO Xiang ZHAO Li CAO XiGuang CHEN Xun CHEN YunHua CUI XiangYi FANG DeQing FU ChangBo GIBONI Karl L. | 3 | Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). With an exposure of 5.6 ton-years, the sensitivity of Panda X-4 T could reach a minimum spin-independent dark matter-nucleon cross section of 6 × 10^(-48) cm^2 at a dark matter mass of 40 Ge V/c^2. | HongGuang Zhang Abdusalam Abdukerim Wei Chen Xun Chen YunHua Chen XiangYi Cui BinBin Dong DeQing Fang ChangBo Fu Karl Giboni Franco Giuliani LinHui Gu XuYuan Guo ZhiFan Guo Ke Han ChangDa He ShengMing He Di Huang XingTao Huang Zhou Huang Peng Ji XiangDong Ji YongLin Ju ShaoLi Li Yao Li Heng Lin HuaXuan Liu JiangLai Liu YuGang Ma YaJun Mao KaiXiang Ni JinHua Ning XiangXiang Ren Fang Shi AnDi Tan AnQing Wang Cheng Wang HongWei Wang Meng Wang QiuHong Wang SiGuang Wang XiuLi Wang XuMing Wang Zhou Wang MengMeng Wu ShiYong Wu JingKai Xia MengJiao Xiao PengWei Xie BinBin Yan JiJun Yang Yong Yang ChunXu Yu JuMin Yuan JianFeng Yue Dan Zhang Tao Zhang Li Zhao QiBin Zheng JiFang Zhou Ning Zhou XiaoPeng Zhou | 2019 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2019,62,3: | 6
Prussian blue nanosphere-embedded in situ hydrogel for photothermal therapy by peritumoral administration显示文摘To establish an injectable hydrogel containing Prussian blue(PB) nanospheres for photothermal therapy against cancer, PB nanospheres were prepared by one-pot synthesis and the thermosensitive Pluronic F127 was used as the hydrogel matrix. The PB nanospheres and the hydrogel were characterized by shape, particle size, serum stability, photothermal performance upon repeated 808 nm laser irradiation, as well as the rheological features. The effect of the PB nanospheres and the hydrogel were evaluated qualitatively and quantitatively in 4T1 mouse breast cancer cells. The retention, photothermal efficacy, therapeutic effects and systemic toxicity of the hydrogel were assessed in a tumor-bearing mouse model. The PB nanospheres had a diameter of about 150 nm and exhibited satisfactory serum stability, photo-heat convert ability and repeated laser exposure stability. The hydrogel encapsulation did not negatively influence the above features of the photothermal agent. The nanospherecontaining hydrogel showed a phase transition at body temperature and, as a result, a long retention time in vivo. The photothermal agent-embedded hydrogel displayed promising photothermal therapeutic effects in the tumor-bearing mouse model with little-to-no systemic toxicity after peritumoral administration. | Jijun Fu Bo Wu Minyan Wei Yugang Huang Yi Zhou Qiang Zhang Lingran Du | 2019 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2019,9,3: | 2
Novel nanometer scaffolds regulate the biological behaviors of neural stem cells显示文摘Ideal tissue-engineered scaffold materials regulate proliferation, apoptosis and differentiation of cells seeded on them by regulating gene expression. In this study, aligned and randomly oriented collagen nanofiber scaffolds were prepared using electronic spinning technology. Their diameters and appearance reached the standards of tissue-engineered nanometer scaffolds. The nanofiber scaffolds were characterized by a high swelling ratio, high porosity and good mechanical properties. The proliferation of spinal cord-derived neural stem cells on novel nanofiber scaffolds was obviously enhanced. The proportions of cells in the S and G 2 /M phases noticeably increased. Moreover, the proliferation rate of neural stem cells on the aligned collagen nanofiber scaffolds was high. The expression levels of cyclin D1 and cyclin-dependent kinase 2 were increased. Bcl-2 expression was significantly increased, but Bax and caspase-3 gene expressions were obviously decreased. There was no significant difference in the differentiation of neural stem cells into neurons on aligned and randomly oriented collagen nanofiber scaffolds. These results indicate that novel nanofiber scaffolds could promote the proliferation of spinal cord-derived neural stem cells and inhibit apoptosis without inducing differentiation. Nanofiber scaffolds regulate apoptosis and proliferation in neural stem cells by altering gene expression. | Jihui Zhou Fuge Sui Meng Yao Yansong Wang Yugang Liu Feipeng Tian Qiang Li Xiaofeng He Lin Shao Zhiqiang Liu | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,16: | 2

Enhancement of refresh time in quasi-nonvolatile memory by the density of states engineering显示文摘The recently reported quasi-nonvolatile memory based on semi-floating gate architecture has attracted extensive attention thanks to its potential to bridge the large gap between volatile and nonvolatile memory. However, the further extension of the refresh time in quasi-nonvolatile memory is limited by the charge leakage through the p-n junction. Here, based on the density of states engineered van der Waals heterostructures, the leakage of electrons from the floating gate to the channel is greatly suppressed. As a result, the refresh time is effectively extended to more than 100 s,which is the longest among all previously reported quasi-nonvolatile memories. This work provides a new idea to enhance the refresh time of quasi-nonvolatile memory by the density of states engineering and demonstrates great application potential for high-speed and low-power memory technology. | Zhaowu Tang Chunsen Liu Senfeng Zeng Xiaohe Huang Liwei Liu Jiayi Li Yugang Jiang David Wei Zhang Peng Zhou | 2021 | Journal of Semiconductors2021,42,2: | 1

Shear viscosity to entropy density ratio in BUU transport model显示文摘Shear viscosity (η) is a basic transport coefficient of the medium. In this work,we calculate shear viscosity to entropy density ratio (η/S) of an equilibrated system in intermediate energy heavy ion collisions within the framework of the Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck model (BUU) model. After the equilibration of Au + Au system at central collision in a fixed volume is reached, temperature, pressure and energy density are extracted by the phase space information and then η/S is calculated using the Green-Kubo formulas. The results show that η/S drops with the incident energy and its value is not so drastically different from the RHIC results. | LI Shaoxin FANG Deqing MA Yugang ZHOU Chenglong | 2011 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2011,22,4: | 1
Electron-ion collider in China显示文摘Lepton scattering is an established ideal tool for studying inner structure of small particles such as nucleons as well as nuclei. As a future high energy nuclear physics project,an Electron-ion collider in China(EicC)has been proposed. It will be constructed based on an upgraded heavy-ion accelerator,High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility(HIAF)which is currently under construction, together with a new electron ring. The proposed collider will provide highly polarized electrons(with a po-larization of 80%)and protons(with a polarization of 70%)with variable center of mass energies from 15 to 20 GeV and the luminosity of(2–3)×1033 cm^(−2)·s^(−1).Polarized deuterons and Helium-3,as well as unpolarized ion beams from Carbon to Uranium, will be also available at the EicC.The main foci of the EicC will be precision measurements of the structure of the nucleon in the sea quark region, including 3D tomography of nucleon;the partonic structure of nuclei and the parton interaction with the nuclear environment;the exotic states, especially those with heavy flavor quark contents. In addition, issues fundamental to understanding the origin of mass could be addressed by measurements of heavy quarkonia near-threshold production at the EicC.In order to achieve the above-mentioned physics goals,a hermetical detector system will be constructed with cutting-edge technologies. This document is the result of collective contributions and valuable inputs from experts across the globe. The EicC physics program complements the ongoing scientific programs at the Jefferson Laboratory and the future EIC project in the United States. The success of this project will also advance both nuclear and particle physics as well as accelerator and detector technology in China. | Daniele PAnderle Valerio Bertone Xu Cao Lei Chang Ningbo Chang Gu Chen Xurong Chen Zhuojun Chen Zhufang Cui Lingyun Dai Weitian Deng Minghui Ding Xu Feng Chang Gong Longcheng Gui Feng-Kun Guo Chengdong Han Jun He Tie-Jiun Hou Hongxia Huang Yin Huang KrešImir KumeričKi LPKaptari Demin Li Hengne Li Minxiang Li Xueqian Li Yutie Liang Zuotang Liang Chen Liu Chuan Liu Guoming Liu Jie Liu Liuming Liu Xiang Liu Tianbo Liu Xiaofeng Luo Zhun Lyu Boqiang Ma Fu Ma Jianping Ma Yugang Ma Lijun Mao Cédric Mezrag HervéMoutarde Jialun Ping Sixue Qin Hang Ren Craig DRoberts Juan Rojo Guodong Shen Chao Shi Qintao Song Hao Sun PawełSznajder Enke Wang Fan Wang Qian Wang Rong Wang Ruiru Wang Taofeng Wang Wei Wang Xiaoyu Wang Xiaoyun Wang Jiajun Wu Xinggang Wu Lei Xia Bowen Xiao Guoqing Xiao Ju-Jun Xie Yaping Xie Hongxi Xing Hushan Xu Nu Xu Shusheng Xu Mengshi Yan Wenbiao Yan Wencheng Yan Xinhu Yan Jiancheng Yang Yi-Bo Yang Zhi Yang Deliang Yao Zhihong Ye Peilin Yin C-PYuan Wenlong Zhan Jianhui Zhang Jinlong Zhang Pengming Zhang Yifei Zhang Chao-Hsi Chang Zhenyu Zhang Hongwei Zhao Kuang-Ta Chao Qiang Zhao Yuxiang Zhao Zhengguo Zhao Liang Zheng Jian Zhou Xiang Zhou Xiaorong Zhou Bingsong Zou Liping Zou | 2021 | Frontiers of physics2021,16,6: | 1

An improved evaluation of the neutron background in the PandaX-Ⅱ experiment显示文摘In dark matter direct detection experiments, neutron is a serious source of background, which can mimic the dark matter-nucleus scattering signals. In this paper,we present an improved evaluation of the neutron background in the PandaX-II dark matter experiment by a novel approach.Instead of fully relying on the Monte Carlo simulation, the overall neutron background is determined from the neutron-induced high energy signals in the data.In addition, the probability of producing a dark-matter-like background per neutron is evaluated with a complete Monte Carlo generator, where the correlated emission of neutron(s)andγ(s)in the(α,n)reactions and spontaneous fissions is taken into consideration. With this method, the neutron backgrounds in the Run 9(26-ton-day)and Run 10(28-ton-day)data sets of PandaX-II are estimated to be(0.66±0.24)and(0.47±0.25)events,respectively. | QiuHong Wang Abdusalam Abdukerim Wei Chen Xun Chen YunHua Chen XiangYi Cui YingJie Fan DeQing Fang ChangBo Fu LiSheng Geng Karl Giboni Franco Giuliani LinHui Gu XuYuan Guo Ke Han ChangDa He Di Huang Yan Huang YanLin Huang Zhou Huang Peng Ji XiangDong Ji YongLin Ju YiHui Lai Kun Liang HuaXuan Liu JiangLai Liu WenBo Ma YuGang Ma YaJun Mao Yue Meng Parinya Namwongsa KaiXiang Ni JinHua Ning XuYang Ning XiangXiang Ren ChangSong Shang Lin Si AnDi Tan AnQing Wang HongWei Wang Meng Wang SiGuang Wang XiuLi Wang Zhou Wang MengMeng Wu ShiYong Wu JingKai Xia MengJiao Xiao PengWei Xie BinBin Yan JiJun Yang Yong Yang ChunXu Yu Jumin Yuan Dan Zhang HongGuang Zhang Tao Zhang Li Zhao QiBin Zheng JiFang Zhou Ning Zhou XiaoPeng Zhou | 2020 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,3: | 0
Constraining self-interacting dark matter with the full dataset of PandaX-II显示文摘Self-interacting dark matter(SIDM)is a leading candidate proposed to solve discrepancies between predictions of the prevailing cold dark matter theory and observations of galaxies. Many SIDM models predict the existence of a light force carrier that mediates strong dark matter self-interactions.If the mediator couples to the standard model particles,it could produce characteristic signals in dark matter direct detection experiments. We report searches for signals of SIDM models with a light mediator using the full dataset of the PandaX-II experiment, basing on a total exposure of 132 tonne-days.No significant excess over background is found, and our likelihood analysis leads to a strong upper limit on the dark matter-nucleon coupling strength. We further combine the PandaX-II constraints and those from observations of the light element abundances in the early universe, and show that direct detection and cosmological probes can provide complementary constraints on dark matter models with a light mediator. | Jijun Yang Abdusalam Abdukerim Wei Chen Xun Chen Yunhua Chen Chen Cheng Xiangyi Cui Yingjie Fan Deqing Fang Changbo Fu Mengting Fu Lisheng Geng Karl Giboni Linhui Gu Xuyuan Guo Ke Han Changda He Shengming He Di Huang Yan Huang Ran Huo Yanlin Huang Zhou Huang Xiangdong Ji Yonglin Ju Shuaijie Li Qing Lin Huaxuan Liu Jianglai Liu Xiaoying Lu Wenbo Ma Yugang Ma Yajun Mao Yue Meng Nasir Shaheed Kaixiang Ni Jinhua Ning Xuyang Ning Xiangxiang Ren Changsong Shang Guofang Shen Lin Si Andi Tan Anqing Wang Hongwei Wang Meng Wang QiuHong Wang Siguang Wang Wei Wang Xiuli Wang Zhou Wang Mengmeng Wu Shiyong Wu Weihao Wu Jingkai Xia Mengjiao Xiao Xiang Xiao Pengwei Xie Binbin Yan Yong Yang Chunxu Yu Hai-Bo Yu Jumin Yuan Ying Yuan Xinning Zeng Dan Zhang Tao Zhang Li Zhao Qibin Zheng Jifang Zhou Ning Zhou Xiaopeng Zhou | 2021 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,11: | 0

Stacked Attention Networks for Referring Expressions Comprehension显示文摘Referring expressions comprehension is the task of locating the image region described by a natural language expression, which refer to the properties of the region or the relationships with other regions. Most previous work handles this problem by selecting the most relevant regions from a set of candidate regions, when there are many candidate regions in the set these methods are inefficient.Inspired by recent success of image captioning by using deep learning methods,in this paper we proposed a framework to understand the referring expressions by multiple steps of reasoning. We present a model for referring expressions comprehension by selecting the most relevant region directly from the image. The core of our model is a recurrent attention network which can be seen as an extension of Memory Network. The proposed model capable of improving the results by multiple computational hops.We evaluate the proposed model on two referring expression datasets:Visual Genome and Flickr30k Entities. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model outperform previous state-of-the-art methods both in accuracy and efficiency. We also conduct an ablation experiment to show that the performance of the model is not getting better with the increase of the attention layers. | Yugang Li Haibo Sun Zhe Chen Yudan Ding Siqi Zhou | 2020 | Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,12: | 0
Molecular Basis of KAT2A Selecting Acyl-CoA Cofactors for Histone Modifications显示文摘Emerging discoveries about undocumented acyltransferase activities of known histone acetyltransferases(HATs)advance our understandings in the regulation of histone modifications. However, the molecular basis of HATs selecting acyl coenzyme A(acyl-CoA)substrates for histone modification is less known. We here report that lysine acetyltransferase 2A(KAT2A)as an illustrative instance of HATs can selectively utilize acetyl-CoA,propionyl-CoA,butyryl-CoA,and succinyl-CoA to directly deposit 18 histone acylation hallmarks in nucleosome.By analyzing the co-crystal structures of the catalytic domain of KAT2A in complex with acetyl-CoA,propionyl-CoA,butyryl-CoA,malonyl-CoA,succinyl-CoA,and glutaryl-CoA,we conclude that the alternative substrate-binding pocket of KAT2A and the length and electrostatic features of the acyl chain cooperatively determine the selection of the acyl-CoA substrates by KAT2A.This study reveals the molecular basis underlying the pluripotency of HATs that selectively install acylation hallmarks in nucleosomes, which might serve as instrumental mechanism to precisely regulate histone acylation profiles in cells. | Sha Li Nan Li Jie He Runxin Zhou Zhimin Lu Yizhi Jane Tao Yusong R.Guo Yugang Wang | 2023 | Research2023,,4: | 0
