| 1 | Integrated removal of NO and mercury from coal combustion flue gas using manganese oxides supported on TiO_2显示文摘A catalyst composed of manganese oxides supported on titania(MnO_x/TiO_2) synthesized by a sol–gel method was selected to remove nitric oxide and mercury jointly at a relatively low temperature in simulated flue gas from coal-fired power plants. The physico-chemical characteristics of catalysts were investigated by X-ray fluorescence(XRF), X-ray diffraction(XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) analyses, etc. The effects of Mn loading,reaction temperature and individual flue gas components on denitration and Hg^0 removal were examined. The results indicated that the optimal Mn/Ti molar ratio was 0.8 and the best working temperature was 240°C for NO conversion. O_2 and a proper ratio of [NH_3]/[NO]are essential for the denitration reaction. Both NO conversion and Hg^0 removal efficiency could reach more than 80% when NO and Hg^0 were removed simultaneously using Mn0.8 Tiat 240°C.Hg^0 removal efficiency slightly declined as the Mn content increased in the catalysts. The reaction temperature had no significant effect on Hg^0 removal efficiency. O_2 and HCl had a promotional effect on Hg^0 removal. SO2 and NH_3were observed to weaken Hg^0 removal because of competitive adsorption. NO first facilitated Hg^0 removal and then had an inhibiting effect as NO concentration increased without O_2, and it exhibited weak inhibition of Hg^0 removal efficiency in the presence of O_2. | 2 | Construction of multiform scFv antibodies using linker peptide显示文摘Multiform single chain variable fragments (scFvs) including different length linker scFvs and bispecific scFv were constructed. The linker lengths of 0, 3, 5, 8, 12, and 15 amino acids between VH and VL of antideoxynivalenol (anti-DON) scFv were used to analyze the affinities of scFvs. The affinity constants of these scFvs increased when the linker was lower than 12 amino acids. The affinity constant would not change when the linker was longer than 12 amino acids. Fusion gene of anti-DON scFv and antizearalenone (anti-ZEN) scFv was also constructed through connection by a short peptide linker DNA to express a bispecific scFv. The affinity constants assay showed that the two scFvs of fusion bispecific scFv remained their own affinity compared to their parental scFvs. Competitive direct enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect DON and ZEN in contaminated wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) samples, and the results indicated that this bispecific scFv was applicable in DON and ZEN detection. | 4 | Nitrogen and atomic Fe dual-doped porous carbon nanocubes as superior electrocatalysts for acidic H2-O_(2) PEMFC and alkaline Zn-air battery显示文摘Air cathodes with high electrocatalytic activity are vital for developing H2/O_(2) proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFC)and Zn-air batteries.However,the state-of-the-art air cathodes suffer from either limited catalytic activity or high cost,which thus hinder their applications.Herein,we designed ZIF-8 derived nitrogen and atomic iron dual-doped porous carbon nanocubes as high-quality catalysts for ORR,through a novel gas-doping approach.The porous carbon nanocubic architecture and abundant Fe-Nxactive species endow ZIF-8 derived single atomic iron catalyst(PCN-A@Fe SA)with superior catalytic activity,and surpass Pt/C and a majority of the reported catalysts.Both XAS and DFT calculations suggest that Fe2+N4 moieties are the main active centers that are favorable for oxygen affinity and OH*intermediate desorption,which can result in promising catalytic performance.Most importantly,PCNA@Fe SA can achieve power density of 514 m W cm^(-2) as cathodic catalyst in a PEMFC and discharge peak power density of 185 m W cm^(-2) in an alkaline Zn-air battery.The outstanding performance is derived from both the high specific surface area and high-density of iron single atom in nitrogen doped nanocubic carbon matrix. | Xiudong Shi Zonghua Pu Bin Chi Mingrui Liu Siyan Yu Long Zheng Lijun Yang Ting Shu Shijun Liao | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,8: | 1 |
| 5 | A near-complete genome assembly of the allotetrapolyploid Cenchrus fungigraminus(JUJUNCAO)provides insights into its evolution and C4 photosynthesis显示文摘JUJUNCAO(Cenchrus fungigraminus;2n=4x=28)is a Cenchrus grass with the highest biomass production among cultivated plants,and it can be used for mushroom cultivation,animal feed,and biofuel production.Here,we report a nearly complete genome assembly of JUJUNCAO and reveal that JUJUNCAO is an allopolyploid that originated2.7 million years ago(mya).Its genome consists of two subgenomes,and subgenome A shares high collinear synteny with pearl millet.We also investigated the genome evolution of JUJUNCAO and suggest that the ancestral karyotype of Cenchrus split into the A and B ancestral karyotypes of JUJUNCAO.Comparative transcriptome and DNA methylome analyses revealed functional divergence of homeologous gene pairs between the two subgenomes,which was a further indication of asymmetric DNA methylation.The three types of centromeric repeat in the JUJUNCAO genome(CEN137,CEN148,and CEN156)may have evolved independently within each subgenome,with some introgressions of CEN156 from the B to the A subgenome.We investigated the photosynthetic characteristics of JUJUNCAO,revealing its typical C4 Kranz anatomy and high photosynthetic efficiency.NADP-ME and PEPCK appear to cooperate in the major C4 decarboxylation reaction of JUJUNCAO,which is different from other C4 photosynthetic subtypes and may contribute to its high photosynthetic efficiency and biomass yield.Taken together,our results provide insights into the highly efficient photosynthetic mechanism of JUJUNCAO and provide a valuable reference genome for future genetic and evolutionary studies,as well as genetic improvement of Cenchrus grasses. | Huakun Zheng Baiyu Wang Xiuting Hua Ruiting Gao Yuhao Wang Zixin Zhang Yixing Zhang Jing Mei Yongji Huang Yumin Huang Hui Lin Xingtan Zhang Dongmei Lin Siren Lan Zhongjian Liu Guodong Lu Zonghua Wang Ray Ming Jisen Zhang Zhanxi Lin | 2023 | Plant Communications2023,4,5: | 1 |

| 8 | FgRab5 and FgRab7 are essential for endosomes biogenesis and nonredundantly recruit the retromer complex to the endosomes in Fusarium graminearum显示文摘The retromer complex,composed of the cargo-selective complex(CSC)Vps35-Vps29-Vps26 in complex with the sorting nexin dimer Vps5-Vps17,mediates the sorting and retrograde transport of cargo proteins from the endosomes to the trans-Golgi network in eukaryotic cells.Rab proteins belong to the Ras superfamily of small GTPases and regulate many trafficking events including vesicle formation,budding,transport,tethering,docking and fusion with target membranes.Herein,we investigated the potential functional relationship between the retromer complex and the 11 Rab proteins that exist in Fusarium graminearum using genetic and high-resolution laser confocal microscopic approaches.We found that only FgRab5(FgRab5A and FgRab5B)and FgRab7 associate with the retromer complex.Both FgVps35-GFP and FgVps17-GFP are mis-localized and appear diffused in the cytoplasm ofΔFgrab5A,ΔFgrab5B andΔFgrab7 mutants as compared to their punctate localization within the endosomes of the wild-type.FgRab7 and FgRab5B were found to co-localize with the retromer on endosomal membranes.Most strikingly,we found that these three Rab GTPases are indispensable for endosome biogenesis as both early and late endosomes could not be detected in the cells of the mutants after FM4-64 staining of the cells,while they were very clearly seen in the wild-type PH-1.Furthermore,FgRab7 was found to recruit FgVps35 but not FgVps17 to the endosomal membranes,whereas FgRab5B recruits both FgVps35 and FgVps17 to the membranes.Thus,we conclude that the Rab proteins FgRab5A,FgRab5B and FgRab7 play critical roles in the biogenesis of endosomes and in regulating retromer-mediated trafficking in F.graminearum. | Yakubu Saddeeq Abubakar Han Qiu Wenqin Fang Huawei Zheng Guodong Lu Jie Zhou Zonghua Wang Wenhui Zheng | 2021 | Stress Biology2021,1,1: | 0 |

[Result]The results showed that leaves of P. guajava from different producing areas contained variable hyperoside and isoquercitrin contents in the same period,and the differences in quality were obvious between different areas. [Conclusion] The method for detecting the contents of hyperoside and isoquercitrin in P. guajava leaf materials is simple with reliable accurate results.
